Software KVM will do them all except my work machine, That has no network capabilities. And Physical KVM where you have to click a button or a switch is annoying as hell. I can actually do that through the USB hub on my monitor, But it's way better to just have a second keyboard, and use the button on my mouse to swap it over.

There are KVM's that can auto transfer mouse and keyboard over when you move to the next screen, however I'm running 7680x2160, and I have not found one that supports such resolutions.

Also using a KVM like that may eliminate gaming monitor features, like low response time, 240htz etc

So I don't think a physical KVM is ideal at all. I just need a seperate keyboard for my work computer.

I used to go to PDX Lan, and they'd have a gamut of gaming keyboards onsite and the tenkeyless ones always looked so cool, but I always end up grabbing the full key keyboards. I dont know if you'd be able to tell the difference on polling rate. I like wooting because there's alot of customization options, and iCue isn't too stable on my PC. I guess? I like trying new tech 🙂

Yeah. I experimented with different springs. Lube vs no Lube. Stuff like that. They're not bad, but very old tech. And Realforce isn't designing anything new. I considered getting Novatech, but that is also old/discontinued.

Wooting lets you adjust the travel in 0.1 increments, on my Realforce, it only has 3 settings.

I've never tried the Leopold. I can't tell you how they compare. I started with those junk membrane things, and mechanical feels so much nicer when I write code occassionally.

The module is semi prebuilt already so it’s literally just connecting the daughter board and screws and you’re good

Most people will probably just have a certain switch and just order the right one from the start

You can use ANSI in the UK, just need to get used to a couple different keys 🙂 Plus side, you get much, much more keycaps to choose from to make it look fancy
