Bottoming out is less loud than the switch coming back up. There’s special silent switches that combat this but these don’t exist in the Hall effect format yet

If stab bottoms out at 4 mm you’ll get an uneven space bar. If it bottoms out at 3.5mm the lekker switch will never reach 4mm

no it's not. It only happens in rare cases with certain looser keycaps

it's not really a problem that is normally worried about unless you get the rare case where it does happen. Even then it's easy to fix with a stem spacer

Tighter keycap just means you have to press harder

you have to specifically push on it a certain way with enough force to make this happen, which doesn't happen for almost everyone

yes, it's not a new thing - it's a known thing that happens with long pole switches but it's not really a problem unless you actually have the combination of loose keycap and pressure enough to make it happen

the vast majority of people are perfectly fine using regular length stabs with long pole switches

in fact even in the mech keyboard space the large majority still choose to use non long pole specific stabs with their long pole switches and only mod/swap if they run into the issue
