i mean in order to spin and still save/memorise a constant state you just need a thread (like a screw) ... if you can measure the magnetic field independently (button and thread) ... you basically achieved your goal. correct?

in the end you are able to just replace any existing key on any existing wooting keyboard with your small knob .... OR 4 keys with the larger knob and you are good to go. another challenging part is ... the knob has to be taller than standard keycaps, otherwise its a little bit cumbersome to use them

Ordered a Wooting 80HE module with Zinc alloy case, L45 and PBT caps. My third one after a 60HE and a 60HE+ module over the years (which I passed on to fellow people). Now I'm waiting eagerly for the 80HE

Now that I've finally made the switch to Linux (I use Arch btw) the web-based Wootility (don't what to handle AppImages) is even more valuable to me than ever before. Currently I have a Logitech G515 TKL hooked to my PC and can't do shit in customizing since no software is available for it

Holy okay, the keyboard arrived and I'm having more trouble typing on it than I did the previous keyboard, but for a good reason. Many keycap sets will come with blank shifts which will work fpr the left and right larger keys but the center 1.25 is the tricky part... you could of course just use a blank 1u but there will be gaps

Im sure competitive gamers may dabble with it or try it on their free time and get used to it before fully ever committing to it.

Also for the split spacebar I have my thumb naturally right near the V which would place it on the far left spacebar for the split. If you look at the split space bar if your thumb can comfortably hit the V,B and N then you will easily be able to hit all three spacebars with your thumb and then the keybinds are endless
