Got my module today, slipped it into the Redux. Some old DSA blank key caps I have

Yeah pretty basic which is exactly what I wanted

I used the foam that came with the redux, stock module pc plate and silicon setup, four corners + spacebar stand-off, and put the little module clear rings onto the back of the pcb. Sounds nice imo

Definitely found the extra screw near the spacebar helped, and imo the dampening rings are a must to get rid of the metallic sound of the case. I didn’t go for the brass weight

Those pegs are for support to keep the switch flat. There is no physical contact between switch and PCB:

They're hall effect, magnets.

Sensors under each switch, on the PCB measure the magnetic strength of the switch above. Stronger field, magnet is pushed down more.

Being able to set the actuation point is amazing. I got the Keyboard like an hour ago but I'm already in love. I have rapid trigger to 0.4 actuation / 0.25 reset and is great ingame. I'm even really comfortable outside of games.
The actuation force is higher than MX reds, which I'll have to get used to; because even tho this makes it more difficult to "misstap", I feel like my left hand gets tired easier. But the lekkers are smooth tho. Best space bar I had so far too. Maybe I'll try the 45g ones in the future.
And I didn't start looking at all the config part; So all in all, with around 1hour of use, I can say it is the best keyboard I've ever owned. By far.

This is replacing my old Wooting, with the Flaretech switches. The sound of this is a Worlds difference compared my old and battered one :D

I got the regular 60HE and now there is 60HE+ but the module is literally almost the same price as getting a new one

@carmine ermine the 60HE+ module is the same as the 60HE but with screw in stab support and is a barebones kit for the people that want to mod their board (myself included) and avoid the wastage of the case and keycaps

its also a little bit cheaper, technically you could just get the pcb and plate with no switches, and get other switches from else where, but you do get the choice of the L45s or L60s for half the price that they are if you just get them on their own

Cause I have a 4x2ft cloth pad for comfort and no fps games then a glass skypad for fps games.

Just using the cursor on webpages and stuff like that its pretty quick (1600 dpi). But i turn my in game sens down pretty low so like in Overwatch 2 I play where a 360 in game is 1 swipe from left to right across the white pad

My sens varys from game to game though. SO R6 its like a 720 per swipe of the pad. and then COD I believe is like a 540.

Yeah, I honestly would have kept the apex pro mini if it didnt break. It was very similar (obviously not as good) to the wooting for a slightly lower cost. Also didnt take a month to get here. Still glad I got the wooting
