Has there been any kind of confirmation of the prices when the barebones kit / aluminium case are released? Finally got round to ordering a 60HE and hoping to get an aluminium case at some point in the future but wondering how much cheaper it'll be just to wait and get the pcb kit with the official premium case. Not quite. Your choice of courier or shipping has nothing to do with how fast the warehouse packs your order, only how much priority is given by the courier once it is picked up by them. 🙂

Hey Isabella, I have bought 2 x magnus desks. One for me and one for my GF. Who also thought initially that it is too much for desk. But as soon as we started setting it up, she could immediately tell why I was so insistent. Just to reiterate that I have got the original and not Pro, so a much cheaper option.

so before I tell you my experience, you have to ask yourself what you put on it. In my case this desk is 1/16 the price of the set up that it is holding up. Which I would say is a worthy investemnt.

This is my view right now. If the desk is 25%-50% of the price of your system/peripherals - then I would say no, it's not worth it.

My overall experience is - best desk I have ever had. It is absolutely insane!

1. Quality is unparalleled. extremely sturdy and every little detail is thought through.
2. Cable management is insane. only 2 power cables are barely visible under the desk.
3. Magnetic clips/accessories are super helpful. Headphone holder, leather mat and the little cable holders. My headset is cable managed to come from under the desk and the cable is just long enough to go up to my head but goes back when not in use. the cable comes from under the tabel in the middle so no rubbing on your hand or sitting on the table.
4. RGB element is so subtle but lights up the wall so nicely in the day and night.
5. Accessories are specifically built for it. Check out their monitor arms. They look amazing and will go on with no problem. I'm getting 2 arms when the stock is back in July.

Verdict: Absolutely worth it if you have worthy stuff to put on it. BUT, wait for sales. I got about 15% off. So Black Friday is good one to wait for. They may be other deals throught the year. Just keep an eye out.

I'm sure that same can be said about many other aspects of one's build.
I have used Razer mouse pads for well over 10 years now and have always enjoyed them. But, I must say I have never bought a product without some sort of discount.
This particular mouse mat is the new Strider. And is actually much better than you might be giving it credit for. The surface is mix of hard/soft material and both glide/aesthetic/durability and ease of cleaning are actually very, very good

Right now, I would say the most overpriced Items in my build are:

1. Steelseries Nova Pro - Honestly, hate the sound, so much fiddling to do. Everything sounds distorted and far away. Sounds are either deafening or too quite. Not nearly as good as most tech reviewers make it out to be. My favorite headset is still BeyerDynamics MMX300. But that needs a sound card or a DAC for best results.
2. ASUS PG27AQDM - The monitor needs quite a bit of adjustment before use but what EVERY, SINGLE tech reviewer does not mention is the matte coating. It is not like regular one they use on IPS panels. They went completely overboard with it. You can not escape seeing a grainy film on every light colour. RDR2 was especially ruined for me as the beginning of the game takes place in the snowy mountains and everything around you is white. The matte coating is so visible that Immersion is non-existen.

I have not tried them out yet, but the table is extremely sturdy. I still wander if their plan is to clamp it under or over the leather mat that goes on top of table. If it is under the mat (which is what I think) then it wouldn’t do damage that would be noticeable. It would be hidden

Australian postage services are so bad.

Ups sends it to Sydney, give it to startrack, startrack driver says address is wrong, I call ups (didn't even know they gave it to startrack until this), ups check and say my address is correct and they will tell startrack it's correct, call again this morning to check where it is, ups says it is still with startrack and there's been no updates since I last called

Then I check the tracking number on startrack and it says it has been delivered but I haven't got it. I run around and check all the gates and mailbox and it's not there so I think it's been stolen.

I call ups and they say it's still with startrack and it says delivered cause they gave it to them.

I call startrack and they say no we had it then we gave it back to ups. And gives me a tracking number they used to send it back.

Then I call ups and they say yeah we do have it in our warehouse right now but the tracking number isn't updated.

They say it will take 1-2 business days to be delivered once they give it back to startrack however long that takes.

It would have been delivered Tuesday but
The delivery guy was too lazy to ring the gate or call or do anything so he said the address was wrong (been confirmed the correct address is on the box). I worked from home for 2 days so I didn't miss it. Now I have no way to track this package, and it might just happen again that he decides not to deliver it.

And your jiggle shots will feel off because you’re used to the quicker shot accuracy timing
