Ehm this is true and the conversation was mostly trolling. The apex pro KB supposedly is looking at adding dynamic actutation aka rapid trigger however the issue still comes to the fact that wooting has had far more time using rapid trigger to refine it and the apex keyboard is more expensive and still does not offer analog.

Most of the userbase not using analog is true but doesn't make analog any less useful, it works well depending on the game played and actually has some serious advantages when you know HOW to use it.

The reason for most not using it is just lack of knowledge about it.. game support is a different discussion since most games allow controller it just depends on the kind of game

Brings me back to my original first point in the discussion.. wooting is cheaper with MORE features adding on that all the features are far more refined

On another note I got my Wooting 60HE a few days ago, experience has been great so far 🙂 my only gripe so far is not the keeb itself but the fact that there isn't something in-between a 60% and a full sized board (75% would be a sweet spot for me)

Thought there would be a learning curve for the software given the welcome screen hit me with a page full of guides and videos, but skipping all that thankfully everything was pretty intuitively laid out, and is as performant as a basic UI like this should be. Shame other keyboard companies can't seem to get fundamental stuff like this right in their own software.

Tbh idrk LOL this is my first time really modding a keyboard, but definitely required is lube switches and stabs, removes scratchy sounds and feels smoother to type on. If you want a deeper sound profile, people suggest foam (stock foam works well) and switch pads (although I think some ppl have had trouble with switch pads and the Hall effect sensors, but I haven’t come across any issues). Filming switches should reduce rattle but I don’t think it’s necessary whatsoever. Holee mod wasn’t necessary for me I think because I used a very thick lube on the stab wires and also used durock stabs, but if you’re using stock stabs and lube like 205g0, you should Holee mod to reduce rattle and ticking in ur stabs. Tape mod id say is necessary for a deeper sound profile since it’s so easy to do.

Unfortunate. I've mostly retired my 60he (except for games where I use analog) because the springs are too light. I guess less interest for heavy springs in the gaming market specifically? Most people I know in the keeb hobby run at least 67.5g springs, if not heavier, and the MX Black is still probably the most popular switch I see in peoples' builds.

Yeah I agree - We'd love to have better control over the warehouse and courier side of things, but for now we're clients without a lot of pull or say there.

Especially the US warehouse makes odd decisions that don't particularly help.

I agree, stop thinking about it was the route I went. That’s why the excitement isn’t there anymore. Only email I’ve gotten recently was to tell me that my keyboard hasn’t shipped and that it could potentially be cuz I didn’t confirm my address but I did.

I know it’s some logistics BS that every company deals with and we (people in the server) know it’s prob not in anyone’s control. Still frustrating nonetheless. Atleast people here get to see it’s not an individual thing

The ctrl key didn't work at first and then I reconnected the keyboard and it worked.

The wooting actually sounds surprisingly nice. It doesn't really sound like the sound tests in most youtube videos, probably because the surface I have it on is different.

The keyboard does a quick recalibration every time it's powered on. If you touch keys within that 1-2 second timeframe, the sensor readings may be off and a key not work normally until recalibrated (i.e. replugged)
