If you place the wrist rest on a dusty surface, the bottom of the wrist rest would become dusty (that's what happened to me); However, I didn't really get any issues regarding dust on the top surface (keep in mind i have been using it for ~2 weeks); Also, it's pretty easy to clean I just rinsed it at my sink and the dust on the bottom part came off without problem pretty easily

I think how well it stays in place depends on what surface you're using; I have my wrist rest on top of a mousepad surface and it would move if you move your wrists on it, however, if I place it on a wooden surface it would stay in place.

hmm thats too bad ya i have a full desk mat so might not be perfect, good to know its not too bad with dust though like i had steel series apex pro which had simular features to the wooting but their wristwrest gets absolutly filithy and devloped a shine spot where i laid my wrist within a week, no idea what material they used for it but it was simply impressive

I'll post a sound test between the 3 once they arrive with just tape mod, lubed switches and burger mount (although I took the o-rings out on this acrylic case as I liked the sound better without)

I personally can only use Full Size Keyboards, as the Simulators I play use the F-Keys, and the Numpad 🙂 etc: Star Citizen, DCS: World, Arma 3/Reforger etc 🙂 where you need the F-Keys.. and also the Numpad, I’ve been a Simulation Gamer since 2004 🙂

was quiet easy to get them back in

you can go as far as taking the entire keyboard apart if you want

we dont cover intentional damage or damage caused by using the wrong tools (so for example using a pipe wrench to pull of caps and keys)

and the biggest nono is modifying the PCB

or well damaging that with a tool of some kind

oh those havent popped out for anyone yet

its the entire stab for a side if anything

so the entire black plastic assembly

wed prob send a replacement topplate if you ask in an email

as mentioned in the 6months or so of the 60he being in customers hands

no one complained so far

and people do mod it heavily

you take it apart and brush the lube on

also no hard task just very time consuming

if that lube pack has the tools in it you shouldnt need anything else

I orderd keycaps from my local store " Glorious GPBT Keycaps ISO , Nordic-Layout Black

But they dont fit?

How am i gonna know what fits or not? Im confused.

In your browser, using wootility,io you need to make sure the profile you downloaded is in one of the 3 profiles. Make sure that profile is selected before removing W,A,S,D from fortnite config

My delivery was handled by a private for-hire delivery service by a generic guy in his own personal car and was thus perhaps paid per delivery, instead of per-hour. Not that it matters any more if you've sold the board or something but, if it glitches when plugged in that usually means its not receiving enough power from the usb cable. Its best to use a usb cable less than 2 meters in length (1.8m is best) and plug it into a usb port directly into the motherboard. Or you could reduce led brightness to 50% to lower the power draw.

will per key rapid trigger have customizable per key downstroke and upstroke sensitivity settings? I find this useful as in one of the games I play, I have to press g and f really fast one after another, and set my actuation for g and f as different values, and when my upstroke resets, the actuation for the downstroke then becomes 0.1mm which puts both of them at an equal actuation when I don't fully release. This can get annoying sometimes so I am just wondering if it is possible that this may be added in the future

the top slot is a digital only slot. so it differs from the rest by not having any gamepad support

EDIT: most issue reports we get are more user error. this isnt because users are "dumb" but because well... you are getting into something no other keyboard manufacturer does. So a lot of the tech and nomenclature is new and understandably a bit confusing to new users. We are making YouTube videos on how this tech works and is to be understood but we also cant expect everyone to watch those before asking us via email/discord if their keyboard might be broken. We wont deny that there is some issue with our keyboards but most of that is usually just firmware issues that havent cropped up before as we got 2 whole new communities using our keyboard out of the blue. We were just a really niche company before we basically boomed with the 60he. We appreciate all those error reports as they help our keyboard to become what it is supposed to be. A good experience.

I would assume so? Depends on how you country handles that. Most countries only charge sales tax on the product value, not shipping. And then there's often some kind of "we had to open the package and inspect" fee as well.

GMK is a plastic manufacturer that makes keycaps among many other things

there are other keycaps made by other manufacturers

GMK keycaps aren't very durable tbh, they are ABS but high quality ABS.... overuse will cause them to shine

People that use GMK tend to have a lot of different keycaps and either just use them to display or just try not to overuse them 😅

PBT is better for durability from gaming, they often don't come in a wide range of colours like the ABS used by GMK

If you're going white try get some double shot PBT whites 🙂 Wooting even sell some

Although there may not be many options out there for white and shine through, the legends may be difficult to read with that combination

I've use the 60HE for work for a couple days now, and it's been excellent. Being able to remap the keys at will makes it easy to make ergonomic AHK scripts, and the Fn layers are great for covering the (few) keys I'd otherwise need. Almost considering buying another so I don't have to move it between home and work every day...

Some games, definitely not all games. FPS games tend to be more no than yes

Most of them will assume you're using a controller - And ONLY a controller. So you can move around but not move the mouse.

Does anyone have a recommendation for a black cable for the Wooting 60HE that doesnt compromise any performance? I am not looking for a coiled cable or anything like that. If Wooting had an option to send the exact manufactured cable in all black, I would absolutely just go with that. Every piece of my setup is monochromatically black, so the yellow and black cable really sticks out in a not so great way.
