The wire S4 ||just keep watching, that is by far the best season, it's a bit unwieldy at first BC it's a massive narrative shift with the main villains switching from the barksdale gang to the Stanfield gang, plus the fact that it's moreso focusing on the schools and students than regular crime, but the past seasons have shown you how important corner kids are to the story and the stories of these individuals develop very well||

Shadow Rising (Wheel of time book 4) ch 15 ||Boy has this been a change of pace and a delight to read.
So far it's entirely been in Tear ( tho they are just about to leave, just got to the part where Rand and Mat almost broke the 3 questions ter'an'greal by using it simultaneously), and it has been very different compared to the mostly adventure-ish first three books. Characters are finally coming through distinctly, and the conflicts going on are just a delight to read.
Rand has become very, very, interesting as a character now that he isn't behaving like 5yo throwing tantrums anymore. His conflict with saidin is well set up and written, tho i thought the stuff with Egwene and Elayne was rushed a little too much. Most of all, his conflict with Morraine has been the most interesting point in the book so far, and i don't like Morraine much so seeing her getting knocked down a peg or two is delightful.

Perrin and Faile are a cute pair, i like them so far, seeing where it goes with Berelain trying to mess them up and Perrin trying to drive her away is gonna be interesting.

With Egwene and Aviendha we will finally see more of the Aiel, really hyped about that.

Mat is a fun character but i still feel he's a bit too... 'rough' for lack of a better term, but i definitely like where his arc is going.

Overall this looks like a lot more character oriented book than the previous ones. Definitely hyped for the rest of it||

In the end of the episode, Logain almost kills everyone in the room -- including Lan -- and she starts to channel to save Lan and everyone as they were on the brink of death ||

Love Death + Robots season 3 episode 9 ||This was about a woman (who appeared to be a deity who resides within the river) as for those warriors, they sought treasures beneath the river but were utterly failed, they were tantalized by the screaming and screeching voice of the woman in the river, one appeared to be unaffected, as he was deaf and couldn't hear anything, and the woman appeared to be thinking her ability was lost as she kept rubbing on her neck. Furthermore, we see her being intrigued and curious about this guy, and we see her cuddling him while he was sleeping. Then, when he awoke, he saw the woman sleeping next to her and they both appeared to be shocked. As the woman tries to run reticently, the guy holds her arms trying to stop her but then she notices the gold that was struck on his hand, as a result of which, he pursued the girl through the fountain and we see them both do the dance ritual only to be stopped by the guy himself as he killed the woman and stole her gold around her body before throwing her back into the river. After that, we saw the woman waking up and appearing to be alive after what happened, and as a result of her anger, she unleashes a current of blood, and seemingly unknowingly, the guy drink the water in the river filled with blood, with this he gained an ability to hear for the first time as this blood was filled with blood too, and the hundreds of people slain over the course of time, and this resulted in him being confused, and this will also make him susceptible to her voice, now that the woman has emerged from the river naked and covered in blood, she uses her siren voice to lure the knight into the depths of the river, where he will join the hundreds or thousands of people who have died, including his fellow.||

LDR || I failed to understand magic blood part, and that it helped him to hear everything - Plus I had no idea he was dead from the start, I thought maybe he was immune to the screaming (Ik so dumb, shit was mad obvious 😂😂) plus I thought it was some sort of witch and did not look at it from a siren pov, so thats why I was mad confused but reading helped me realized that this episode was a masterpiece 11/10||

I had kind of bought into the heart attack theory ngl but this makes more sense, if howard has a lower tolerance to caffeine than jimmy who didnt really act any different it makes sense that it would be enough to noticably affect howard, but a heart attack would be a bit too extreme. No idea what Lalo is really planning here, he called back to the senior care home knowing it was tapped just to make them think he was planning on attacking that night. I wonder if he did that intentionally thinking that mike would move guards off of saul and kim? or is that too gigabrain. idk what lalo wants to talk about with them though. seems like he was planning to attack the laundromat but gus isnt even there most of the time||
