Eye of the world reread ||One thing I’ve always hated about book 1 was how out of nowhere Lan and Nynaeves romance comes from. Idk what Jordan was thinking. Literally one scene they’ve hardly spoken to each other ever, and the next they’re almost engaged with Lan saying he’d hate the man she marries because he is not him. That’s one thing the show did better at least. It’s so strange in the books||

I just watched seasson 3 of scissor seven, its very well done. Despite having a thick lore early on, is not over the top.

PLUS there's texts saying that Tariq will send Brayden to where she is and Effie should know that. there are so many loose ends of she's dead then for sure the police can find out but if she ran and kept quiet it's a lot better for everyone, ONLY if she takes it serious and doesn't open her mouth. what worries me is that she's with the dead people at the start of the show so she might really be dead or its a fake out to scare us.||

Dawnshard ||Thought it was really good. Great little side story that gives some fun side characters time to shine. I was actually wondering where Brandon was taking Rysn, turns out she now has a dawnshard in her head. I love Lopen as a character. He’s whacky and hilarious but there’s also a subtle wisdom to his dialogue which I love. The sleepers are strange, so they’re not from roshar? I think I’ll have to read mistborn and other cosmere stuff soon to get a better grasp on dawnshards and other things, but overall really good. My favorite scene is probably Rushu working on Rysn’s chair and her reaction to being able to be more free. Very touching while also adding fabrial lore||

Dawnshard ||I love rysn as a character, Brandon actually had a beta reader who was on the wheel chair and described their experience so their struggle feels so real. And yea Lopen is amazing the gag where he swears the oaths when it is the least appropriate is so funny ||

Dawnshard ||Yeah she’s a very intelligent and strong-willed character. Lopen is the best lol. I love how whimsical he is. Like someone falls into the sea and he’s like “guess I have to save him now because we can’t have people drowning” ||

Dawnshard ||Also about the sleepers, the blurbs of the books are from their perspective since they have a hivemind they can see some events so they keep up with that, you can also notice some weird cremlings being described which is where they are present ||
