Kinda surprised by Charlotte's character development (or regression). Barely affected by the actions of her parents. Also didn't seem much shocked by Helen's murder. Prolly gonna get faded out. Jonah's much more proactive. Darlene's cocky as ever. Am excited to see Javi as the new antagonist. So far hasn't disappointed||

It's because i think Dune does justice to the novel despite having changes yet telling its story in a visually compelling manner that doesn't require the audience to handhold for exposition
It has immense rewatch value just to catch the details that Villeneuve adds as visual cues and details from the book like the monologues that Villeneuve does away with just facial acting and performances that are good over the board
So yeah, I don't call shit incredible just because, that's quite a generalised statement there
The movie immersed you into the worlds of Dune, makes the characters more emotionally resonant than distant, gives greater focus to the main characters in the adaptation while admittedly I think it is for the better if Villeneuve just made some of the other storylines in the novel a bit more built up but heck it's not like it destroys any integrity of the film and the story.
Yeah, if you ask me to say stuff about the movie, I will give my reasons to tell you why I think it's good

Dune new movie ||Yeah, people really aren't joking when they rave about the visuals and score. It was incredibly impressive and a spectacle. I'm not that technically knowledgeable when it comes to film but I liked the scale of everything in the movie. The shots made the humans feel small not only in the city but also in comparison to things like the ships and the sandworms. Great stuff. Acting was on point, which was to be expected from a cast as stacked as that. Only a few minor blips for me and that was to do with some structure and pacing things. Also, how some characters just seemed to be in it very little or just vanish completely. Those are my only negatives but overall it was very sensational. Think it's a worthy adaptation if you ask me. Making me want to reread||
