We had like 30 cases in our neighborhood at the very peak when there were lakhs of cases a day in the country

I'll try my best to explain without spoiling

I think The Wire excels in being a modern day tragedy moreso than any other popular television program has. I think it would've been far to easy for the show to just do "drugs bad police good" and they went with a totally different, new, more realistic angle. I think the wire gives us a very frank and realistic portrayal of lower SES communities in the USA that typically are demonised or looked down upon, but the wire shows that these communities just have different ways of living their lives that they have to follow due to the external factors in their communities they can't control.

I think drugs and the drug trade are portrayed in more of a tragic, sad light, and the police are moreso portrayed in a light that specifically shines on the level of red tape and bureaucracy present in higher levels of law that we don't get to see with the "drugs on the table" style of policing.

Coming back for a bit to give my thoughts on hawkeye since i just watched from episode 3 to the finale || HENRJFJJEJCBEHF Vincent D'Onofrio as fisk coming back was fucking amazing loved every scene he was in in the finale can’t wait to see him again since he 100% isn’t dead was rooting for him the entire time in the final episode even though I probably shouldn’t have, kate was great loved her and clint as a duo, this show somehow made me love yelena even more loved her and kates interactions hope they interact more in future series and movies, i liked jack throughout and his moment at the end was pretty cool, clint was great loved him so much his interactions with yelena and his family were great, Maya was really good so excited to see whats next for her, and one last thing rogers the musical was fucking amazing and i need an entire show about musical recreations of mcu movies || hawkeye finale

Spider man 2002 || I really liked this movie but ever since I watched amerian psycho I can't look at William Defoe the same way. A lot of things about this movie were done so well I'd wished that I was young and could be easier entised by it. Basically, my sinicism and/or foresight did not allow me to be as easily immersed in the movie Uncle ben dying, for example. Uncle ben always dies, i know this to be true and specificially because of this was thinking about it in my head, and was able to predict the near exact circumstance and events that transpire for it to happen, so it wasn't as impactful as I wish it could have been. Other than that, the things i've not really been aware of, like william defoe's character and his busineas I think were done really well, his acting is great, and the ending was absolutely something I did not expect. Definitely thought MJ and peter get together, but I 100% prefer what happened instead. ||

Also you put homecoming kinda low down harsh but idk, I kind of liked it. It's the only MCU spiderman movie i've seen, and even with that it was a good standalone movie, even ignoring the tie ins it has with this supposed great arc that is the MCU movies

Homecoming and Far From Home || I don't like the Iron Boy jr, that can be lost I don't give a shit, Vulture's pretty cool but it gets really boring when not involving the Vulture or having him on screen. Rather forgettable film in the Spiderman ouvre and Far From Home is just shit that doubles down on the Iron Man Jr. angle to an annoying degree ||
