Shang-chi ending || well, this movie was decent at the very most. Enjoyed watching pretty colors, listening to Guzheng tunes and watching some mythical animals ig.
Had a great start Ngl. Interesting back story, then relatable character. The Bus fight would probably fall under my top MCU fights. Good choreography and main of all prooer utilization of the surrounding. Then we got to Macao.

That's where it started falling in quality for me.. Wong fighting w/e that is called. Makes no sense even for the sake of cameo. Still it had the back story info drop and the reveal that the letter wasn't from the sister. That saved that part of the story for me at least.

Well after that, it started being mediocre and unintetesting for me. Felt even more disconnected with the characters, presictible events, tho the water animation was some good stuff and mother voice thing was also good. It being revealed that it was related to the gate between that spirit eating thing was, idk, nice.

|| We yeah got some more info of the mother's death and Shang-Chi messed up childhood which was yea sad. But yeah the mystical village's CGI was great. Would have preferred some different color preset/color grading for it to make it seem more mystical/vibrant than just bright doe. Yeah back to ShangChi's past thing. Loved we got more focused on his character, which I presume was the intent of the movie even tho they made it feel disconnected, that was probably the only good thing in the last part of the movie, leaving aside good animation and music. Him drowning scene and meeting up with the dragon was hyped. Then how the fight continued with.him getting the 5 rings first, with the.method.that was taught to.him by his.mother, then the 10 rings. The whole choreography of the battle felt so good (not the knowledgeable person but well it felt good so . Well it was eye candy and good growth for him. And well yeah the last thing I liked in the movie. Diidnt feel the dad's death. Should have given the dad and Shangchi a few minutes of reconciliation and then kill him off. Death of the archery master was just bullshit, Katy had enough push. Katy just on her way to become the next Darcy.
And yeah the rings destroying the giant soul eating creature atlesdt didn't make me regret watching the movie. That part was .
