WandaVision ||Just my new favorite MCU character now. I liked her before, but now I love her so much, and I have a soft spot for Elizabeth Olsen too. This show was so absolutely fucking great, the effects were spot on and just as good as the MCU gets on the big screen, the plot was great, the acting was 10/10 even for the kids, and the characterization and characters included came out to make a great story. I hope it gets a second season of some kind, but I'm pretty sure it's just a one season micro series||
Loki ||Also fantastic, but not as good as WandaVision. Totally hilarious, I laughed my ass off often, the twists were all pretty good, the cast was also picked fairly well. I dunno about the ultimate villain, but this was a good set up for phase 4 of the MCU. Marvel totally upped the ante on this one, the person they're bringing in is going to be significantly more powerful than his comic book counterpart I'm totally sure. The fight choreography in this show was almost complete garbage but still fun.||
WandaVision ||Also I kept arguing it for years, but now it's just official, Wanda's the most powerful entity in the MCU short of Ego or Dormammu now.||

Tying it with Loki and Kang, I thought of something. Dr. Strange knows about the TVA. Every other reality except the one where they won with by having to time travel got pruned by the TVA. Also as to why this should be the case, I think that Kang finding out about Time travel, timelines and other stuff is due to the fluctuation/anomality caused in the timeline due to Avenger's time travel. I mean, it kinda makes sense, right? Also I think this is what they would use or smth ||

||sandman was good. it is 100% my favorite comic (not manga or novel). This series from the get go was more interesting than most and better looking than most too. it evolved as it went on going from a story about some guy trapped in some bubble to a collection of a couple dozen short stories and some longer stories too. I enjoyed almost every chapter and could not point out which one was my favorite because it seemed like every good chapter was better than the last. I loved the characters Neil gave time to shine, Dream himself, Delirum, Death, Nuala, Matthew, lucien, and i enjoyed many of the smaller characters, Cain and abel, Eve, Rose walker, Barbie, Lyta hall, Lucifer, The various gods who came to see Dream were all interesting. My only issues with this series come from my own lack of knowledge, of the greater DC universe but also of various myths and religions which are brought up at time to create a new story. I feel like this comic could of went on forever, getting better and better with each chapter, but ending it when he did was good too. The "Kindly ones" Arc in which everything comes to a end was confusing at times and made me upset with all the bad things happening, but ultimately i enjoyed. "The wake" The final arc was good, it answered some questions, brought up new ones, gave conclusions to characters i loved (Nuala, Matthew, Lucien, and even dream). The art style chose for the wake fit it pretty well, with its serious and dreary (but good) look. The epilouge chapters were fine, but felt a little misplaced, i think ending it with the wake was the better choice. The Will shakespear chapter felt especially out of place compared to the chapter with the undying man Rob galding or w/e and the chapter with the Chinese man traveling the soft place. I want to see more from this universe and i might get what i want from Lucifer so im looking forward to that one day. Its been nearly a month since i finished frankenstein, and this is the first thing since then ive read in any medium That i think is nearly perfect. @crimson lance the sandman ending ||the shakespeare and hob gadling stuff is the thematic statement of the series. shakespeare was granted the power to live in memory through his stories and his stories gave new dreams to millions of people afterwards, its basically tying his entire arc from where we saw him with hob gadling to his conclusion with the final issue of the series, mirroring dream, as he dies but dreams do remain with people and stories always perpetuate more dreams. hob gadling as well shows how dreams remain even if you're functionally immortal. death can leave you alone, but dreams do not, dreams are essential for humans as much as life is||

Sandman Ending ||That's awesome to hear. I'm glad you liked it. I was pretty young when I first read this... I think I was 15-16 years old so a lot of stuff kinda went over my head. As you said, a lot of little details are in knowing mythology. So on my current reread I'm picking up more and more. I think if I were to generalize it, the series is about change. We keep seeing glimpses of his past and how he hurt the people that loved him, from his lovers to his family, all because they've broken some arbitrary rules. He condemns them to suffer, sometimes for thousands of years, and ends their suffering with a flick of the wrist during the series but only after he himself had suffered for some time (his imprisonment). He begins to change during the course of the series but ultimately it's too little too late. His past actions catch up with him and his inability to bend his rules is what leads to his undoing in the end.||
||You should write down how you feel about it now for yourself and revisit it some years later. It'd be interesting to see what part spoke to you now vs later.||
