It also jumps between a lot of places in a not so natural way. I think it's okay cuz it gives enough to be interested in a next ep while not being that good of an episode. ||

I have problem with how it's shot tho. || It uses a lot of really bad looking closeup shots, and like the communist guy rally had so so so many camera switches/perspective switches w/e that it was annoying. Plus it uses such a bad blur a lot of times ||

|| Movie was good, had some issues with it. Mostly feel like the movie felt like it was just piling on top of each other. I get that we see Marty and his terrible actions and at the end of the movie he finally takes accountability with the baby, but I felt like there was a good amount that was just repetitive scenes. Still, I did enjoy the movie, minor issue honestly. Also what really stood out to me was that score, gosh it was incredible. The scene where Marty throws the apple on the table and the flute just comes in. That scene just keeps coming to my head. But yea overall good 😊 ||

Fallout season 2 episode 3 ||this was fine, lots of stuff I like but also a few issues. The legion basically devolving into warring factions makes sense, and I liked the choice cooper made at the end, that was good writing. The brotherhood plotline was interesting too, and I liked how they made a point show how this chapter of the brotherhood are religious fanatics compared to other chapters. The stuff with the NCR is a little concerning, and they made a lore mistake with the Shady Sands timeline AGAIN, but I’ll wait till the end for my full thoughts. The Mojave feels barren compared to the game which feels odd, but maybe that’ll change once we’re near Vegas more||

Fallout s2e3 ||also the stuff with Kumail’s character at the end was fucked up and twisted, and perfectly fitting with the Brotherhood in 4. A lot of the critics for this show say that Bethesda has favoritism for the brotherhood, but I don’t think this show has shown a favorable thing about them 😭 if anything the writers are NCR fans even if they nuked them||

The reason Rayse needed to go: he had been essentially defeated at the end of Oathbringer, when Dalinar does not go over to him. All of his rage, and everything he's trying to do cannot make that happen. He's defeated, at least in a philosophical sense. Now you can bring a defeated enemy back to be a threat again. You can find a new way to make them a threat, but I knew - in this book - Kaladin was not going to fall to him either. But once you've had two books in a row with the characters machinations not - things stymied by the heroes. I needed a different villain at that point.||

And in WoR he talks about knowing Almighty and mentions him as Tanavast and talks about him as once human.

Nightblood is able to feed on the magic source, as in OB their Stormlight was sucked out to the point that Szeth and Lift might die before Dalinar opens a perpendicularity.

And Tarvangian at a point notices the "glow" being disjointed from Odium.

So there's a suuuupeer dupppper powerful magic source that some of Hoid's colleagues picked up, and one became Honor (Tanavast) and one Odium (Rayse). And in Dawnshard, you are told that the powers have Intent and Command, while Dawnshard has only Command. So the glow separating from Odium is that the Intent of the Odium power, the churnup of every fucking extreme emotions, isn't being properly fulfilled by Rayse. Remember about how Hoid talks about bounds, this is one.
And then Taravangian uses magic feeding sword to hit Rayse, who since his body is on brink of being separated from Odium, is consumed instead of Odium power's never ending magic.
And since given Cultivations boon that he is in his less smartest but more emotional days, he's operating only on "Passions", he's a mix of emotions working on plans that came from that instinct than one from meticulous planning. At the end, he resonates with the power, cuz his self is close to the Intent of the power

Stranger Things Season 5 Final - || overall a decent ending, they played really safe. I also felt like the acting and dialogue in the final episode was a bit all over the place. However, I did like some of the closure but I wanted more from Will and Henry talking about the Mind Flayer, also man Dr K is such a horrible fucking villain she doesn't do anything. Overall 7.5/10 just for the good call backs, the main Kaiju scene was decent. ||

Stranger Things S5 Finale ||well. That was something. I feel overall the finale was fine. The season wasn't my favorite. I enjoyed the mind flayer battle and the emotional release of Joyce dealing the final blow of an impaled Vecna, even if the battle was so easy I was convinced it wasn't over. Not a single major character death is uh. Underwhelming. Top it off with the duffers not so subtly telling the audience they know it was gonna not be satisfactory since it was all happy||

WTD Final - || Like the acting in WTD, and the cinematography is just leaps and bounds better like people saying they are the same literally have no idea what they are talking about.
Some of the transitions from S1 with hallorann using the Shining was so unique and interesting. Each shining/pennywise appearance moment felt like a homage to either another King IP or another horror film. Thinking for example the grocery store scene being a homage to Companion or Black Spot having so much relation to Sinners felt like they were filming around the same time and sharing notes. ||

Stranger things S5Ep8 and welcome to derry entire show. ||the difference is that's welcome to derry had to work with what they had. And the child actors weren't jaded after being rich for a decade plus. There's also the factor it had a stronger setting, cinematography and acting. With an actual scary antagonist pennywise who has interesting lore than isn't dog water. It felt like they kept trying to change the upside down, rules and everything for all seasons to excuse the next one. And finally it all ends in a big monster fight that was unsatisfying. With a sappy ending that felt like "welp we done". I love how retroactively they made dr brennera genius who understood anti matter, set up henry and did all this shit. When it was clear he barely understood shit in s1.||
