Hunt's trauma, which I hope is addressed more in Dead Reckoning and Final Reckoning, and the emotional beats at the end is great. Really has developed Hunt's character to a point that any subtle nod towards the sacrifices he has had to make and such makes me emotional af. ||

He’s questioning his methods and he’s completely cordoned off being the public facing billionaire Bruce Wayne. Which is brilliant because he always stalks the night as Batman and doesn’t bother with maintaining his reputation outside that identity he has forged out of trauma and pain. He is very fearful of losing anymore in his life. So when the Riddler and Catwoman starts challenging his privilege, he begins a journey of change and realizes that the purpose he wants to have is to help people, change himself into someone who represents hope (something he does at the end where he rescues people at the flood) and starts becoming a hero that serves the people while also helping the city in the form of being a billionaire philanthropist ||

The Batman || time and time again, Bruce is challenged in his mindset of privilege and blind vengeance and begins to change, he begins to see his role as someone who has to inspire hope and protect people, that’s Batman ||

But his argument is a very simple "he doesn't need to learn to become a philanthropist by being an outcast first, hes philanthropic from the start in the comics".
