invincible latest ep ||its unceremonious and forced. A lot of this shows conflicts seem haphazardly strung together, and the characters involved feel similar. Just a random event where AU invincibles showed up and one of them just happened to attack teen whatevers base. And then rex decides to kill himself with an explosion that realistically probably shouldnt even affect mark but these marks are conveniently weak enough for regular heroes to beat solo. So on and so forth. Too many situations alligned to create the situation, and then it just kinda happened.

Plus, his voice actor and personality suck. Even after he "reformed", hes still annoying and has to remind the audience "heh, I used to be bad! Now I'm good!" Give your audience some credit to recognize gradual development that doesn't need to be shoved in your face||

Finished J-drama Light of my Lion ||This was pretty good. It's sort of a cliche, but well-executed story of two people trying to take care of their sister's "missing" son. The plot beats, character arc directions, and conflicts were honestly so so predictable that I wasn't quite excited to see what was next. It kinda hampered the enjoyment. However, what made the show worth it is the wholesome moments that come about the main drama, particularly with the son. The emotional/cute moments that happen with Hiroto's bond with the son and his autistic brother felt very sincere. The writers handled the drama pretty well and carefully. By the end of the series, everyone got a happy ending and the abusive father got the punishment deserved. I was pretty satisfied how everyone ended up. I very much appreciated that the autistic brother grew so much throughout the story that he became so supportive and understanding of Hiroto's ambitions to go to university. So supportive that he sets aside his usual panic attacks, showing how much of a brotherly bond they have for each other. Watching this makes me glad and grateful that I have a younger brother that I can play and have a fun time with, in the same way the sister's son is so wholesome towards his newfound family. Good stuff.||

Will be seeing K-drama The Trauma Code: Heroes on Call next. Need a change of pace after seeing a somewhat wholesome show. 🧐

Trauma Code: Heroes on Call Episode 3 ||I'm quickly finding the premise of the story flexing a single doctor saving lives and restructuring an entire hospital system deeply uncomfortable for me. I know it's all made and written for entertainment and such, but I just think these portrayals of these miracle doctors that show how corrupt bad doctors to be too misleading. I think I prefer these stories to be more sincerely and accurately portrayed. I know there are some hospitals and doctors that tend to be corrupt and greedy, but making entertainment out of a career that involves saving lives is just... deeply unsettling to me. At the same time, such series does spread awareness of these issues of hospitals to a wider audience, so it makes me feel conflicted. I'm still in the early stages of watching this first live action hospital series though, I may change my mind, maybe... ||

I still retain my feelings of medical dramas like this being rather unsettling to watch from a meta-standpoint in terms of over-exaggeration and realism, but for what it is, I can recognize that its character writing and exploration was decent in how the doctor changes the hospital staff around as he successfully does each procedure. A large portion of each episode focuses on the surgical procedures, which does nothing for me connection & tension wise for the patient & doctor. If this is the basis of these kinds of medical dramas, I'm not quite a fan of it so far.||

Will be seeing Extraordinary Attorney Woo next, I heard this stars a lawyer in the autism spectrum, so it's got my interest.

ROW, Chapter 36 ||Adolin just turned himself in to Lasting Integrity to be judged by the Honorspren. That's as far as I've gotten so far. The only major thing that I've read in recent chapters (or at least major to me) was the possibility of Pattern having worked with Mraize all these years. Which, if proven true, would be a very cool twist and probably make older chapters more revelatory in hindsight.||

The sci-fi stuff looked solid. Everything after that, I guess aside from Stitche's animations, kind of sucked. The worst part is you will have to rely on a mediocre kid actor for most of the film (and kids are almost always not great actors).

Moffat has good ideas, but bad execution most of the times. || And more focus on the plot that tries to come close together at the end than the exploration of ideas that was in focus in RTD era. His approach works when he's just a writer cuz there's a balance with other types of episodes, but when he was showrunner, that didn't work.||

wot s2e6 || great episode, mainly focus on despair of every character especially egwene, It's relaly driving home how brutal the damane training is. Also that aes sedai folding the suldam went hard af cos I dont think we ever saw anything like that in the books||

Finished Extraordinary Attorney Woo ||This was a serviceable show that was not for me. It's got the romance, treats its autistic protagonist right with good character development and exploration, has interesting different court cases in each episode, and has a serviceable cast of characters that play their role well enough in the story. I got to learn some cool law stuff through watching this. On the whole though, I found myself kinda bored at times. Its ok character writing, notably cliche character archetypes, light-hearted tone, episodic nature, and the absurd length of each episode just make it a non-standout show that's hard to pay attention to. Overall, I wasn't paricularly amazed, but it was enjoyable enough to push me to finish.||
