That being said, one thing I think they did well was the showcasing of growth in the main cast from what I saw. I’ve heard it also keeps doing that so defo need to go back around to it, has really good cinematography as well from what I remember. Very good shots that stay with you.

HOTD latest ||anyone really find Rhaenyra boring as a character? I struggle to find most of her scenes entertaining compared to when she was younger, the Mysaria scene seems completely out of left field but not entirely unwelcome||

||Daemon has been on his acid trip for nearly every episode this season and I admit it’s starting to become annoying to watch||

Also HOTD || Otto seems kind of bad at this, he got his own self fired by insulting the king several times, and instead of turning this into a play to minimize the damage he just whines and complains, Aegon is rather easy to manipulate if you give him even a little bit of validation but Otto really just sucks at it, and also the fact that Aegon was raised next to Otto this entire time and Otto never even thought about training and coddling Aegon to be a pliant puppet king is just a huge oversight by him, he had all the cards in his hand and misused them and then completely overreacted to Aegon’s murder, even his anger at Rhaenyra’s assassination attempt makes not much sense to me as we see in the green council episode he tried to have her assassinated by the Kingsguard knights. Despite how the show tries to portray him as cunning and intelligent his plans aren’t great in the slightest ||

She's managed to tame homelander and get him to reveal his weakness, which no other woman in the series has done besides stillwell. the boys s4 finale|| Best ep of the season, was on edge of my seat the whole episode. So many unexpected developments. Ryan's officially turned to the dark side and butcher's going off the deep end as a result of that. I was shocked the way he killed neuman, worm butcher is crazy strong if he's able to kill a strong supe like neuman that easily. Sage made herself even more essential to homelander by saving the plan though I don't think she planned everything. Butcher and homelander are both being setup for final villians of the series and next season is about to be brutal, I'm glad A train didn't die as I feared cuz he was the mvp of the season. I forgot ||how much Shallan just isn't my favorite. I think it's her petulant nature, it rubs me the wrong way. I love the rest of the cast, but Shallan is a pov character and I hated that I would see her name for the next chapter and go "oh fuck nooo"||

||I think that her character is definitely more interesting, Kal is also pretty straightforward so his character isn't too uh unique I suppose. Mr Sad Boy. But I just am so uninvested in her plot, in her character, in all of her stuff idk why. big fan of the expanse, especially the early seasons, might read the books one of these days. Though I'm not sure of any series that are super similar. That sort of early space where its still pretty difficult and dangerous to navigate space but we're starting to get a footprint out there on different planets and such is a great way to do a space setting imo. the space odessey series is probably the closest thing ive read with regards to that flavor of space setting but its a lot more dry and sciencey less colorful and adventurous.
