This is why I quit the boys
Why
The boys ||glorifying homelander and acting like the cast wasn’t unlikeable||
That’s only the fans
The boys ||runs a bit into the story too. Amazon made it less bad but it’s not perfect||
Let’s just say I prefer invincible
It’s a little surprising there is a ton of people who like the boys better
I also like Invincible better
I just think it has a more interesting evil Superman take and story
its a little surprising because you misread the intentions of the show?
Harsh woke up and chose violence
finished Planetary. Any other recs? I'm looking for something less fantasy or supernatural based. So more grounded in reality if possible.
Loved Planetary btw, incredible story
Yep
Emo
@stiff knoll forgot to mention this but the book you're reading now consists of the first 3 volumes of blacksad, read the following in order:
Blacksad (you're on it now) -> A Silent Hell -> Amarillo -> They All Fall Down (still not complete)
Is the foundation tv series truthful to the books?
yes
But i heard the || emperor clone plot shown in series which was the best part in series|| was not part of the books
Should I continue the series or books? for those who read books
making me read an incomplete story...
it's too late for me to go back. I'm already invested
But alright thanks for the heads-up
I see
I'll read those first three books then
Should I just read this?
I think it has the first three books
So everything except They All Fall Down right?
they all fall down came about after a 7 year hiatus from the ending of amarillo
Maybe a good idea, maybe a bad one
what are you reading

So far I only read Titans, I'm gonna read the Superman/Batman thing I next
which one is that?
World's Finest
The current ongoing one by Mark Waid
I wanna read some of the new ones from this year cause I saw that Dawn of DC thing is happening. From what I understand, it's a perfect time for me to pick up the new titles or something
Venom (2021) #11 || this has been pretty trippy. Loving all the time travel stuff and the multiple Eddie Brocks. Fun stuff ||
Peaky blinders S2 ||episode 4 looks pretty good.||
I'm watching House (the doctor one) rn
TikTok convinced me to watch it and its so fun
Netflix
Trakt
Venom (2021) #18 || damn so Eddie's finally gonna fight Mirdius I think. Been enjoying the timeloop stuff. I think that's gonna be less of a thing though. Not sure why, just a feeling ||
good writer
I loved his Immortal Hulk run
art work looks so cool
I was gonna read his current X-Men: Red run but I read one issue and realized I don't actually care for the X-Men atm.
readcomiconline for online reading
getcomics for downloading
Ok thanks
Breaking bad ep 6 || holu fuck bald walt so damn cold||
@modern lichen ep 100-104 have been kind of boring so far, is that just me or
🛌
gotta push through
the later part of the campaign is weak overall imo
that's the peak of the series
yeah, well, good luck with these episodes
thanks lmao
i still like them
cant hate any episodes because of how much I love the group
a lot of people see this part with rose tinted glasses
its okay to have on in the background
yeah the group interactions? still great
but they arent episodes id watch with full concentration
yeah
Comics are ass
Huh
Im sorry but i cant read them and enjoy idk how yall do it
You're not reading the right one?
what prompted you to respond to that answer that way?
you clearly asked for where you can read them and then you say they're bad?
Which is the right one then I cant find a Good spiderman or any good marvel comics
Oh if you want Spider-Man then I highly recommend reading Ultimate Spider-Man
Cause i wanted to check them out and I dont like them
But harsh can give you better recs
Is it the one with Peter Parker??
Yeah. Teenage version of him from different universe
Okay
and then go for ultimate spider-man
Woah
Ok ill make a list of it
You could try the pinned list
Where is the list
i have made a batman comic list which is pinned
In the pins
scroll down to the bottom of the pins and check it
that's a comprehensive list of batman comics you can read
Okay
Might not touch Batman for a while
that's fine
read spider-man: life story first
I should read that too tbh
miles morales comes later
Are in the ultimate comics in like order like they follow a plot?
Or are they villian of the week types?
Well actually, Wolverine. Mostly Wolverine tbh, not really looking to read team based comics rn
Like how many pages
20-30 pages
Ok perfect
From what I remember
Thanks
No way
That's really cool
While at Marist High School, Martin became an avid comic-book fan, developing a strong interest in the superheroes being published by Marvel Comics, and later credited Stan Lee for being one of his greatest literary influences; "Maybe Stan Lee is the greatest literary influence on me, even more than Shakespeare or Tolkien." A letter Martin wrote to the editor of Fantastic Four was printed in issue #20; it was the first of many sent, e.g., Fantastic Four #32, #34, and others. Fans who read his letters wrote him letters in turn, and through such contacts, Martin joined the fledgling comics fandom of the era, writing fiction for various fanzines; he bought the first ticket to the world's first Comic-Con, held in New York in 1964. In 1965, Martin won comic fandom's Alley Award for Best Fan Fiction for his prose superhero story "Powerman vs. The Blue Barrier".
Bro won an award for a fanfic he wrote
This is pretty cool lore
speaking of comics, i saw some old spiderman comics from 1977 today at work
its cool to look at the old art in person
And funniest thing is that the only comics pro who attended was the last person you would think would like to go to a social place: Steve Ditko
man i cant fucking wait for oppenheimer
Jealous of everyone who gets to see it in 70mm IMAX. Sucks living in the middle of nowhere
thought i'd go see it in 70mm imax but its a bit too far away and bit too expensive
so i'm just seeing it in normal imax
I'd probably pay that much for a first viewing of a Nolan film. Wouldn't cover anyone else tho. $60+ is gettin up there for a movie
yeah, better watch it at your convenience
I saw interstellar in whatever the film version of IMAX it was when it came out
It was amazing
70mm?
Probably
yeah that's film version of imax haha
I just didn't know if it was less than 70 when interstellar came out
so normal imax is digital imax projection
70mm imax projection takes the imax reels directly in a film projector
the most crisp quality image ever
Interstellar ||the scenes inside the black hole were insanely good in 70mm||
a ticket was costing ₤20

Gonna start s2 of invincible soon
Interstellar was easily one of the best movies ive ever seen
Skip to present day where editorial is like “fuck you”
lol
now i wanna watch this movie again wish i saw it in theaters
Since I've only seen BB clips though memes now that I'm actually watching the show I'm laughing like an idiot every time I see one God why am I like this lmao
Breaking Bad ||just watched the "I'm Scarlet White yo" scene and I could only think of the memes||
||I'm on episode 3 and I'm not a fan of Jessie ngl||
Breaking bad ||I'm scarlet white yo
||
scarlet? bro downloaded the wrong breaking bad 🤦♀️
Just watched Oppenheimer... definitely the best chris nolan movie
Breaking bad ||im only 6 eps in so i cant say much but i feel like ke gets better every ep||
Also can anyone tell how to read batman?
Like even spinoffs which show tht dark multiverse or whatever
Check the pins, should be the bottom one
Trying to read DC Comics is so complicated because there are a million different authors writing a million different stories and the same characters don't even really feel like the same characters in each story bc different authors.
Having said that, I recommend Scott Snyder's run on Batman as a good starting point
Yes it's hard to get into DC/Marvel comics
It's easier to get into DC comics than marvel ones imo
Marvel has a ever-spanning continuity ever since the very first FF comic was released
At least with DC there's been a few resets

Man I had to give up Marvel/DC comics a few years back. Too many writers trying to write over each other and retcon each other with "but no, actually THIS happened". Just couldn't take it anymore.
Switched over to Image Comics and it was such a breath of fresh air
Honestly...
Canon is stupid

Just let writers do what they want within their own contained run
What I don't like about DC and Marvel comics is how ridiculous the powers have become
Now it's like every character has a version of themselves that can destroy worlds or alter reality
Yeah their "cosmic" forms or whatever
Yeah, even if you forget about these forms you got the other characters whose powers are so grand that it doesn't make sense anymore
Antags and protags alike
I like when a character's power is determined by sheer experience, rather then being OP for the sake of it
So many different realities too
It is hard to grasp something like Batman, a straight up normal human, facing off against someone like Doomsday who wreaks havoc across the Galaxy as if it's a fair and square fight
Yeah, so stupid
Half of the time I think it's just writers wanting to do cool shit
"What if we made them be able to just destroy the universe in one fell swoop"
And so Batman will get someone like Dr Fate but nah it won't be enough which means that another character needs to develop reality shattering powers in order to beat the menace
Yeah exactly, so now you get 100 characters that can do that
The stakes are nonexistent
I do too tbh
If it wasn't for them we'd have compelling stories
I get that it's fiction and all but like
Killing off characters and then just bringing them back to life later ruins it
Screw marvel/dc, there's stand-alone series that are more worth it
Like there's no drive or motivation if things can just be reset
There are classics in Marvel/DC of course but right now it's not worth it
Lmao yeah
Saga, from Image, is great. You can really feel the stakes when things happen
Yeah it's a shame that everyone is so focused on marvel/dc when there's genuinely great stories in comics
We need more adaptations
I'd get into hellboy if I had the money for physicals
Nice
I mean Sweet Tooth got a live action adaption right?
Yeah comics can be expensive too
Netflix series
Yeah I need to check it I'm curious
I hear it's pretty good
Nice
So glad that Invincible is a thing
Got me back to being interested in comics
Darn, I really enjoyed sandman
I dont like watching divine entities fight, I rather watch humans fight
Invincible is the greatest capes comic ever written imo
Kirkman is just a different level of writer
I wouldn't say that really
It's just something with me, abstract concept vs another abstract concept just doesn't make me interested
Invincible is fine and we'll but it's certainly better than other attempts (The Boys comics)
Never heard of it
The Boys comic is actual hot garbage
Nimona is a graphic novel, it's pretty good
The anime is really fun but I haven't read so I can't tell
What's it about
Lemme pull up a synopsis
Nimona || A knight is framed for a crime he didn't commit, and the only person who can help him prove his innocence is Nimona, a shape-shifting teen who might also be a monster he's sworn to kill. ||
I've only seen clips of the film so far
Lemme look into it
Wonderfully animated
The 1st trailer
Oh
It like dropped on Netflix out of nowhere
Right?
No more ice age
Ice Age, Rio, Peanuts
Damn
No more ice age
My childhood classics
Rio was insane too
Horton too

Anyway, back to Lonesome Dove by Larry McMurtry
I've been marathoning TMNT 2003
Honestly
I'm a little tired of reading US-M
:/
I'm on volume 9 rn and I'm not really finding motivation to continue
What dat
Probably should take a break
I only just came back from a break of reading it
Ohh
Amen to that. The wire S1E10 || I did not see that coming but damn this show is good||
The wire is goat'd but y'all overrate s4 ong @wooden swift
I simply must disagree
Apparently secret invasion ended, did it turn out to be any good?
Might check it out in a few months if I’m bored
I’ve finally stopped caring about the mcu
I will watch final episode today
I will give you my honest opinion here:
The plot is not exciting, but little bit interesting
There goes 4 eps out of 6 eps where it is just "talking" and actions
Plottwists in the series didn't feel big too
I feel like, if this series didn't exist, it would not make a difference on MCU story progression in general.
Punisher (2022) ending || well then.. it's weird seeing the Punisher fly and stuff. Dude literally made a deal with the devil. I didn't like the earlier issues but I really enjoyed it after Ares' death. Seems like Frank Castle is some sort of vagabond in hell or something now
not really much for me to say, Frank is just dude who did bad things to bad people. I think the ending is probably the best way this run could have ended. Dude was a pretty trash husband ||
Gonna catch up to World's Finest now
Blacksad after that
I'm almost done with season 1 of Breaking Bad and I'm starting to like Jessie more now
Breaking Bad ||he's finally bald
||
|| it's balding time || breaking bad
Breaking bald
It amaze me how they succeed to make everyone a bad character in the show, but you kinda root for some of them
a bad person? i think jesse is fundamentally a good person
You sure???
Yes
Castlevania: Nocturne new visual
Jesse smokes weed he cant be good
Still need to watch the rest of the castevania series
Nah fam, it is more than that
I needed a break from C2 so I started exu calamity since I read it wasn't really related to anything else CR that much
And boy is this good
@modern lichen
Exu calamity e3 || from the characters to the new players to the setting, it's so well set ||
Calamity e3 || I hate marisha, aabria, and Lou's characters so damn much because they portray the hubris so well ||
Calamity e3 || also love how despite their pride, arrogance and hubris being very central to their characters how each of them are different flavours of it ||
oh you're watching calamity already?
Yeah I got to 110 and felt a little jaded so I wanted something different
i wouldve prefered you watched some one-shots instead
there are references from later parts of c2 in there
Checked out online saw calamity wasn't really related to anything C2 so I went with it
there was c2 related stuff there
There are ? I haven't really spotted then yet I am on e3 already so ig whatever
Oh
I am probably not far enough into C2 to spot then lol
you didnt notice because you dont know
Idk the only thing I can think of rn is Cr C2 e110 and exu C || the city from the vokodo vision being Avalir ||
watch the rest and let me know
Eh whatever I will finish it now that I have started it anyways
Evil it is then
Most of those are the highest rated on imbd, good list tho
I didnt make it thinking about any rating haha just stuff I love, thanks!!
Movies I am thinking to watch yet:
The Prestige
Shutter island
Godfather II
Godfather III
Anything else I should add to the list?
you've got a good list for now
Add those of my list
Haha, what is memento about?
|| Man with short term memory is trying to figure out a murder || Memento
One of Nolan's classics
Just seen the description
Added!
Just curious question
Do you guys read parents guide before watching a movie?
no
Do you skip sexual scenes if it goes severe?
I just noticed
How most top rated movies are full of sexual scenes and gore
It is like a theme for movies to be high rated maybe?
Most good movies tell stories that are rooted in the human condition, they don't have explicit content
You got ideas?
I mean suggestions
For such movies
What top rated movies are you citing that have explicit sex and gore
Any tarantino movie
Anyone watch secret invasions finale yet?
Think I ran into a spoiler on twitter by mistake
You have not seen sexual stuff and gore then
Most top rated ones dont have as much as more obscure and exploitation movies have
Depends which movies he's talking about exactly
There's a ton of high rated movies out there lol
cr c2e106 || Yasha and Beau's little httyd moment was cute ||
Oppenheimer is so good
cant wait
i cant take it anymore raaaah
i rewatched dunkirk and tenet in preparation
His best easily imo
that's what i heard
it was fucking insane going from an almost silent and tense dunkirk to exposition heavy tenet
enjoyed the fuck out of both of them
The exposition in tenet doesnt really matter too much tbh
A lot of jargon but you dont need to understand much if it
tenet a lot of the times felt hilarious because nolan tries to explain away the fuckin mechanics and i'm like i dont care i'm just here to watch shit go boom
didnt like the elizabeth debicki angle this time, felt a bit useless
pattinson is so goddamn charismatic
washington as well but pattinson stole the show
the dark knight and the prestige are still his best imo
the prestige especially is a stupendous film
inception and dunkirk come close
i dont vibe with the batman trilogy too much
interstellar is good but i dont think its really that great as it is claimed to be
dont like begins and rise much, tdk is good tho
Id like to see em all in imax
I wasnt really into it until the last 30 minutes
its the most expressionistic one of the trilogy and the most straightforward batman story
plus gotham actually feels like an eldritch entity in that movie
yeah interstellar does have some magnificent images though
i'm trying to save my first letterboxd essay review for oppenheimer
rises dropped the ball imo but its still a competent film
awesome
its one of his weaker efforts for sure
Dont love rises but i prefer the imax presentation to begins
yeah he began to truly use imax with tdk but i feel like the imax images in tdk are so much more impactful
tdkr is a bit eh with the imagery
Yea there are a lot of nothing imax compositions
yeah, i wanted a nolan horror movie and it looks like he's made a haunting movie with this one, big ideas and greater execution
Its horrifying
fuck me i need this shit in my veins so bad
just a few more hours
i havent seen barbie yet, i'll save that for later ig
Watching it today? Pog
Nice
i couldnt find the 70mm seats tho
darn
so i have to settle for normal imax

imax 70mm is a godsend
Its a film that demands to be seen projected on film, id say if you love it watch it on normal 70mm no imax after
its a dream to watch it on 70mm imax
if thats possible
EVERY single showtime for imax 70mm here is sold out
i tried getting them but like, its a whole days endeavor
yeah, that shit is big
nolan deserves the acclaim now tbh
the man has been on an uptick and this is his artistic culmination
He made a very positive pivot in his career with interstellar
Me when tenet...
tenets a banger
i have seen articles about barbenheimer, how the fuck is someone going to sit through such conflicting tone clashes
tenet is fine, its a vibe movie
i can put it on background and chill even
no problems
The only nolans i love are tenet and oppenheimer tbh
Sounds like cope
with movies like dunkirk i cant, i have to focus on the visual storytelling
there's not a lot of dialogue involved
i admire dunkirk but i didnt fully connect to it
dunkirk is a barrage of visuals
Oppenheimer does the cross cutting much more effectively imo
also has the cosmic imagery of interstellar
FUCK
The final hour of Oppenheimer is some of the most harrowing cinema ive seen not for any pathos but just pure horror
i love dunkirk because of the economy of imagery and how nolan recontextualises previous sequences with the timelines clashing and culminates in a grand end
if this is any indication, oppenheimer is the movie of the year for me
i left out the part i almost cried bc of this that was important
even over across the spiderverse perchance...
Oppenheimers my 2nd
I am excited to read what you have to say for it man. If you write a review, do ping me
i'm gonna be writing the review on letterboxd
Yea youll love oppenheimer
Nice nice
do you have letterboxd, neko
i watched the little mermaid remake
i need a palate cleanser
looks bad
its bad
its so stretched and visually it looks like murk when its not in the sea
the sea imagery is good
also, uncanny valley sea creatures
not my jam
I watched more bad movies than good this week so I need Oppenheimer
some cool stuff announced for venice film festival
seeing the travis scott/harmony korine/gaspar noe/NWR thing this week
nice
i need to rewrite my review for mayabazar as well
maybe i'll give it a rewatch later this week
Oh idk if I have any of you on LB rn lol
PFP from Mon Oncle (1958) btw
Nah I have only use Trakt for stuff so far
followed you
i like letterboxd because of the fact that the reviews are how interactions are share around
I haven't configured Kodi in my new laptop so yeah trakt is mostly outdated lol.
Need to sit down someday and update stuff
Yeah it looks fun but I can't be consistent in writing reviews
I tried in goodreads once and stopped after 2
Jokes on you I never write any nor I rate them lol
that's fine lol
Isn't trakt just easier then if you aren't doing those Hog?
I only put the best ones on the Likes section
Does Letterboxd automate updating?
I use that for TV shows
followed you on lb hog
Did you finally add all those 7000 movies harsh?
lol
On letterboxd?
yes
I wonder if I can watch that many in my lifetime even
The good ones btw
i didnt play a lot of games so longer form media for me involved a lot of movies, comics and books
Nice nice
there are more than 20k movies on letterboxd
Boarding school limited my viewing mostly cuz I was home for like barely 1 month a year
For like 9 years
havent even scratched the surface but by normal standards i watched a lot of fuckin movies
and i read a lot of fucking books and comics
More like 200k lol
Movies are still kind of hard for me idk why.
I can easily manage a 3 hr movie in a theatre but watching at home even 2 hours ones are difficult at times
Got tired of theatres blowing up my ears lol
Never had such problems here
Also, my trakt: https://trakt.tv/users/hog95/progress
and yeah I do wish to watch the classics. Like Idk if I have watched any of Hitchcock's movies or of such popular directors
without the ability to watch movies in cinemas i wouldnt have been such a film appreciator
watching a movie in a dark theatre on a big screen is such a joy to me
Oh ok lol
Yeah it's a great experience
Just watch movies that are mostly dark
the definition of a film for me is still something that is screened on film in a theatre and when theatres die, cinema dies
the act of immersion into the world of the big screen in front of you is a special experience to me
Yee
I have gone to cinemas like twice in the last decade, dont really care tbh
I have now watched over 1300 movies on my laptop since late 2020 lol
One of few of my complaints about theaters, is the pricing of tickets.
Eh, is the food pricing that is the real issue to me lol
Also not having one close since I live in a lil town
food prices I understand
Thats why you smuggle the food in
If you go to amc frequently you should get A list
After 2-3 movies you've gotten your money's worth and everything after that is bonus
Yes!
See on one hand I like that experience. You feel the movie
On another I hated in recent years how fucking loud films have gotten. Idk if it was just the cinema but like shit I remember Ready Player One and like bugger me it was just deafening at a part
Sound mixing has been something I've noticed too
Dialogue is lower than music and sound fx
I always bring ear plugs to the movies now just in case
Especially useful for Imax
Aye I remember my friend just plugging his earbuds in during some of the loud set pieces
Sound mixing definitely is a problem these days yeah
Also another point
The cinema experience is great but is often at the whim of like everyone following the rules and shit
And boy it don't half ruin your movie when people be on their phones, kicking your chairs in, or just being loud drunks
But when everyone plays along, it is unmatched
Never experienced any of those man
99% of all cinema experiences have been insanely good for me
Yeah
Kids always be kicking chairs (honestly wish cinemas put more emphasis on shit like that, and not just focusing entirely on chatting or no phones)
Hell that's why when me and my friends used to go to the cinema we just ended up taking the seats at the top. No one can kick your chair if you're the last one
Maybe it's just our local cinema is really dogshit then idk
Never experienced any of those so like can't relate at all lol
The "worst" that has happened so far is one of my friend directly coming to theatre from gym and smelling quite a bit
Other than that, yea its been great everytime
The drunk guy yelling was like, shit it was 9pm and it was fucking Alita battle angel.
I think he drunkenly bought tickets cause he left like 30 minutes in. Made the first half an hour annoying but like it's a story I guess lmao
I had a big drive to LA recently and got the Ahsoka audiobook
Just finished it on my drive to the grocery store. It was pretty good
They got Ashley to do it too so it was like watching the show lol

Yikes

has anyone else seen the first 2 episodes?
Goro has
Secret Invasion ep 1 and 2 ||isn't it kinda weird that they just introduce us to these skrull characters leading a rebellion without setting them up? like ok they had a flashback at the beginning of ep2 but idk I feel like they could have spent some time setting them up better||
they have the first 3 episodes on hulu and I've been watching it in the background
it hasn't been good
Newest Mission Impossible was a solid addition to the franchise. Highly recommend.
Lmfao, that series brought nothing to mcu universe, that why
The whole plot line is just pointless tbh
Only one takeaway… Secret invasions e6 || Giah is now the strongest character in the MCU ||
Wut
I haven't watched last ep
I will do that today
ok so I haven't watched ep 3-finale but I'm assuming
Oh ok don’t click on that then
secret invasions ep6 ||is she basically a super skrull like fantastic four?||
I don't care lol
Secret invasions e6 || she has all the avengers powers from Endgame now ||
secret invasion ep6 ||ok so MCU super skrull||
Guardians 3 will probably be the last non Spider-Man MCU movie I ever watch to be honest
Or MCU anything
Actually now that I look at this list I’ll probably watch some of these like F4 or Deadpool 3
Why is that?
It was good movie tho
No I know, I’m saying that it’s been the only one worth seeing for years now
Man it's just dang'ol complicated Y'know man like a dang'ol rubix cube man you like talkin' 'bout blue, red man then you like get to one side and you messed up the other side man.
I tell you hwhat
Hi, good morning! Newbie here. Why can’t I post images/ videos here? 😢
!embed
Oh I forgot the command basically just talk in here and you’ll get permissions through a level up system
Oh I see. Just like in other servers. I don’t get that “level-up” thing. Hahha annoying rule. ✌🏻🤣
It’s for your own good
How is it for my good?
It's for the greater good
You’ll understand when you’re level 10
The greater good
What’s with level 10? Am I gonna earn some money or something? Hehe
You’ll get more than you can imagine
You’re not a mod anymore?
No. I don’t think so. 😝 sending objects are basic chat features. NO NEED FOR LEVELS imo.
What’s ur dream then? 🙂
I’ll tell you when you’re level. 10
Alright, my expectations are so high now so It better be good. If it is just some kind of moderator role or the likes I will laugh at you. 😜✌🏻🤣
Nope :)
Here are some that you might want to check. 😬
ikiru, for something completely pg and "rooted in the human condition" as harsh put it
Thanks
Thanks
Np
Wrong chat?
They ask who is luffy never how’s luffy
It's Oppenheimer day fellas

Batman/Superman: World's Finest #2 || man.. I think after this I'll have to read more Bat-Supes comics. I need to see more of their friendship||
Peaky Blinders S2:|| 8/10 very great ending to s2, great character, great story telling ||
okay so
candela right
does it have multiple chapters that consist of two episodes?
with a different cast every chapter
?
The first chapter is finishing off tomorrow with three episodes
The second chapter idk how many episodes really I need to check that
It has multiple chapters with different casts and game masters
The creator of the game is the game master in the second one
is episode 2 of first chapter on yt yet
3:00 in the morning for me, I have a CR twitch subscription so I just watch the vids
basically late as fuck for europeans
hmm
maybe ill try to catch chapter 2 ep 1 live
There are rebroadcasts
Throughout the day
You can watch those
There are 2 additional rebroadcasts after the initial stream where you can catch it live

Are you following CR on twitch?
Batman/Superman: World's Finest. #2 ||
loving the chemistry between these two ||
Sorry I'm late for the talking about CR lol
But yeah there's usually a rebroadcast 5hrs after the first broadcast
And then a 2nd rebroadcast 9hrs after the first rebroadcast lol
Batman/Superman: World's Finest #3 ||
bro... ||
if you follow the channel, you'll get notifs for when they're live
This comic is such a breath of fresh air after the edgefest that was Punisher (2022) lol.
You think my dream would be to be a mod? That’s a nightmare
But u wouldn’t say it. 🤔
Just downloaded futurama season 8 it espanol
I won’t tell you my dream but mod is as far as it gets from it
I’ll tell you mine. I wanna be the King of the Pirates
😛
For that you need more than level 10
anyone watch three movies in a day in theatres? thinking of binging barbie, oppenheimer, and mission impossible if my friends are down lol
Don't do it
Rich kid!
Buy us tickets, too!
U can watch 3 movies but not frm 3 completely different genres like this...
I would watch multiple movies if we had ticket bundle passes. Otherwise, it costs too much
Though usually they don't bring anything worth watching. I wanted to watch Asteroid City but it didn't come here
Ended up watching the first episode of Sweet Tooth, it was really good
The rise of Richter Belmont. Premieres only on Netflix, September 28.
ABOUT CASTLEVANIA: NOCTURNE
New series focusing on Richter Belmont origin story feat. vampires in the French Revolution.
The gory and gothic adventures of the Castlevania franchise continue with an exciting new setting and their highest stakes yet. A gripping story of love ...
We eating

Dayumnn new Castlevania looks sick as hell
animation looks kinda jittery tho. Could use a lot more smoothing out
Just finished candela e2 I am so excited for the finale
atla ||i think about the beach episode a lot, just like what it did for the characters||
The production quality on this series is just so good
The consumes, the props, the environment, lighting
Also my god Laura Bailey is fucking genius at voice acting
That episode is literally incredible
The way she is pulling off the airy, kinda not there, slightly naive-ish vibes with just her voice maaaan
So good
||Ember Island is the best recap episode of all time, and it's not even filler because actual plot relevant things happen||
atla^
So on point
Yeah that
I forgor
I can gush about ATLA all day it's literally 1a/1b with One Piece
atla ||there are an amazing few episodes that are perfect at reminding you that these aren't just cartoon character protagonists fighting a war, that they're dedicated characters in a well-defined world||
atla ||and that most of them are children that were forced into maturity way before they were supposed to be||
Candela obscura e2 || tho my favourite in CO is probably Charlotte. Just love how confident and strong and sorta protective Anjali plays her, really good ||
ATLA ||Zuko was forced into a royal position in warmongering society, which quite literally went against his core nature, and became this malevolent, violent person and still has the greatest written redemption arc in fiction||
yeah
ATLA ||Sokka was my personality character, the character I saw as a kid and was like "I'mma be him".||
Just finished watching Oppenheimer
I have many thoughts
But it's a masterwork, movie of the year
Sheesh
As in both good and bad thoughts?
Only good
One of the best in a supporting role this decade so far
Couldn’t agree more
Every single performance was out of the park
Yeah I think this movie will sweep the acting categories
Even if it’s just nomination but should def produce winners too
I don't give a shit about Oscars or awards but this film deserves the accolades
It’ll definitely get it
Kind of sucks that both RDJ and Gosling did excellent jobs in the same year
That doesn't matter, I am only talking about this movie as a grand artistic achievement
I think the most notable accolade would be considering this to be one of Christopher Nolan’s best work
Ahh I can see that
It’s definitely the one I’ve enjoyed the most.. but I haven’t seen all his movies
But this is just such a great movie and I’ll probably watch it all the time when available
rewatching every film by wes anderson
finished fantastic mr fox
about to finish moonrise kingdom
starting the grand budapest hotel
harsh making me want to see oppenheimer even more
Couldnt even put the 3rd sword in his mouth smh
The “3rd sword” was not in his mouth. That would be gross. 🤭🫣🤣
^^^ ❔
Time to watch Aliens
Which episode are you at
First step into delusion
107
Ok ok cool
Nice, i switched to exu calamity after 108
Have one ep left there
And caught up to candela obscura
So i can catch it live
Breaking Bad ||I'm at the episode where Walt and Gretchen talk about Walt lying to his family and damn how evil has he became lmfao||
Breaking Bad ||I'm sorry for Gretchen but I kinda dig him being this angry, even tho he's totally in the wrong here||
Breaking Bad ||and even after that she didn't tell Skyler||
I like her
Keep watching
She's cool, breaking bad fans are just dumb
|| she did one mistake which was to fuck Ted, the rest was 100% justified || Breaking Bad s3
|| and not even that much a mistake, her husband was being a bitch, why can't she have a getaway but Walter can || Breaking Bad s3
Ok so Aliens has been watched
Certainly a long film. Good action film though
Aliens ||turned the horror rather from 1 single aliens killing power to a horde of never ending aliens. Which was cool.
Also all the extra lore stuff from the marines weapons was cool
Honestly the only part I disliked was the crews defeat, since it all sort of happened via awful shaky cam, alongside when Ripley went back into the hive we never see the bodies of the 2 dudes they mentioned were still alive but being prepared. Other than that I really liked all of the characters I just wish the slaughter was a bit more on screen. Russian dude getting melted by acid, Vasquez and the leaders death alongside the android getting ripped in half was awesome. Also all the aliens looked fucking amazing and honestly much more improved than the previous one||
Oop sorry I didn't mean to write that much
Oh well. Guess it matches the run time lmao
I'll read this in a month when I'm done with the series lol
Where u at?
Breaking Bad ||I'm watching the better call Saul episode||
Episode 8, season 2
I'll definitely forget about it but thank you for the heads up
Lol yeah it's not that big of a deal anyway
Breaking Bad ||finally Saul is here letsgooooo||
Man, this Oppenheimer review is going to be a big one holy shit
like your review you mean or?
who
my review
are you sending it here or writing it down on Letterboxd?
letterboxd
niceeee
nolan has made his best film ever and its one of the best movies of the 21st century
I haven't seen the film yet sadly, had to change plans after the whole hospital thing (got Barbenheimer tickets for the same day but had to give them away
) really excited to seeing both movies soon
it accomplished what i think paul thomas anderson did with there will be blood
culmination of a life's work
a supreme artistic achievement
holy moly
the imax experience fucked me up
which film used to be your top 1 from Nolan before this
i sat there for 5-6 minutes in silence after the credits came up
the prestige/the dark knight
it alternated between these 2
holy shit
maaaaaaan
dunkirk being 3rd
Harsh is high on Oppenheimer
you're making me even more excited to watch that movie
nolan manages to make an extremely wordy film with HEAVY dialogue flow like butter, jennifer lame's best edited work
its movie of the year
it surpasses across the spiderverse as well
for me
btw Wood saw this earlier, did you liked it?
daaaaaaamn
in letterboxd?? What's his username
expecting dune 2 (hopefully) and killers of the flower moon to challenge this take
this truly is a great year
for movies
I actually have one friend who says the movie goes by really fast lol, what a coincidence
aliens is one of the best paced movies ever made imo
I agree
i miss that james cameron, of the 80s and 90s
I was really shocked with how good it was when I first saw it last year
Idk if I like it more than the first tho, they're both amazing to me
one day I could pick one and tomorrow the other lol
Aliens || the second one does gives Ripley bit more of character and drive than the first which I liked a lot||
ridley scott is the greater image maker, cameron is a master of pacing
fincher back with the killer as well
holy shit that's right
FINCHER
btw @white smelt oppenheimer ||having watched the movie, the sex scene is not that weird lol, a bit weird but its not as goofy as described lmao||
yeah its gonna be out in theatres and netflix iirc
holy shit new Michael Mann this year too with Ferrari

so many good films there in that line up
valid
