I read Kristin Hannah’s When Lightning Strikes in a day. Twas awful. ||Premise was close to an isekai, with a romance author being transported to her cowboy Western novel to date their OC villain. I thought it had promise, but it got way too cheesy for me as I read more. Lainie and Killian got way too repetitive on being vulnerable and intimate and lost what made their characters interesting. The author didn’t do much with the couple chemistry nor the premise. || This novel annoyed me so much, and I can’t believe that I finished this mess.
