I’m not sure about the grand scheme narrative, but I do think it’s a pretty good idea about the location of Laugh Tale - a place off the map where Joyboy stored his treasure and laid to rest. The reason it’s sought out is because of the information Joyboy left about the void century and the D clan.
I'm trying to remember if we've seen the sky in the short peaks of Roger on Laugh Tale or not
This is actually a mini-theory ive had in the back of my head for a while but thought it was a bit too unhinged for me even. I like it
I think the background was blank hmm. But you remind me. Remember that scene of Oden and Roger hearing the Seakings? It’s presented after they visit and leave Fishman island, the next entire chapter. It would be a huge rug pull if that wasn’t a flashback to their journey to Fishman island but underwater laugh tale.
Even if you take nothing else away, I think the idea that some mythology presents the sun god as coming up from the ocean rather than down from the sky could be big.
Yeah, all the images I'm quickly pulling up have a blank bg so yeah, it's possible that it could very well be hiding that they're under water, and I think that'd be a pretty cool island parallel to Fishman Island
No sky is visible, but the whole thing is very intentionally fuzzy and hard to tell
We know for a fact there’s a Adam Tree and the Eve Tree is what supplies oxygen to Fishman Island. If there’s nobody to coat ships or even a reason to suspect anything is down there, maybe nobody has been looking at the sea floor below it.
The Straw Hats do have a mini sub too, so they could very well get down there without the coating. I'm also really interested in Nirai-Kanai and want to learn more on that utopian myth. Sounds very fascinating
So it would be at a fixed point, at the deepest part of the ocean requiring a massive ship coated and dragged by Sea Kings?
Since you guys are talking about "where is laugh tale", I'd like to plug what I think is the best theory I've seen on the topic so far: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6MFrmTWlCTo made by @gentle lily
[SPOILERS THROUGH BASICALLY THE WHOLE MANGA]
After watching some theories regarding whales in One Piece, I decided to connect several different ideas into a theory regarding the importance of Whales to the story. Through this I have come to the conclusion that Laugh Tale and Whales are inseparable and that the final island in the Grand Line is m...
Yea _DirtyPigeon that’s the head canon for why Pluton and the Seakings would be needed. Pluton is strong enough to withstand underwater, the Seakings pull it to Laugh Tale.
Plausible, probably in the middle of the 3 gates if anywhere. Or it moves around like the knockup stream or maybe thats it even.
Hear me out, 3 poneglyphs point to Elbaf or the island with the Adam Tree. You get there and you’re like this place is empty. The 4th poneglyph points down. That would be a reason why 4 are needed when we don’t have a good reason to need more than 3.
I've assumed the 4 glyphs are x,y,z,time and describe the cycle for which laugh tale is here or there
The only real issue is that its so wild and out there that why wouldnt have anyone mentioned that yet?
We've already been to the sky so the 4th is unlikely to point up.
So the 4th is either to space, down, or time~ Pick one 😄
Maybe x and y cross to Elbaf/X island, Z points to the sea floor, and the 4th is time. It could work.
Time works as it can explain why its a predictable event along with some tidbits like known Islands moving; (If you dont believe Flood Piece or The Planet having a will)
https://ja.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/ニライカナイ
It's in Japanese, but here's the ja wiki for nirai-kanai (ニライカナイ) and you can Google translate the etymology (呼称) section
No one has mentioned anything about where laugh tale is so I dunno what you mean
This mythology also has a bunch about the paradise flooding and evil taking over the world. Bonus, the Ryukyu language separated from other Japanese dialects and isn’t spoken outside Okinawa, kinda like the Kozuki language/poneglyphs being lost to time.
If anyone with actual Japanese knowledge could tell me why nirai kanai にらいかない translates to “I can’t help but grin” on Translate.com that would be huge
So I've got some language background and it shouldn't translate to that
That’s what I thought
From what I was reading on the ja wiki, the etymology is uncertain but there's some theories
Nirai could come from "root"
There’s a lot of other interest ideas with its ties to plant life and potential the Banyan/Nika tree. The Banyan tree is native to Okinawa and the mythological forest creatures that Nika kinda resembles called kijimuna. That’s another potential tie to Okinawa but take it with a grain of salt because it’s from the Fandom site. I think the craziest thing is we have zero and I mean zero reason to why Oda said in SBS 72 that Luffy most resembles Okinawa. There’s ceremony after ceremony in Okinawa involving roots, tree branches, the ocean, and praying to the sun, especially around the December Solstice, which is a known to have a ceremony on Elbaf
Kanai theory portion is more debated: nonsense ryhme, beyond, root of a bay(water)(?)
Vocabs too complex 😆 sorry, trying to piece together what some of these words mean
The tie to roots would be awesome. I’m literally proposing the location is supplied by giant tree roots. Or it could relate to the rubber Nika/Banyan trees in Japan located in Okinawa. Even the rhythmic sound makes sense with nirai kanai’s use in songs, festival chants, and drum music.
It would be cool!
I'm struggling to make this connect to everything we know of Devil Fruits, 800 years ago, Ancient Kingdom, Gods... etc....
I could kinda see a tale of a "Kijimuna" mistaken for a monkey, pulls pranks, its the cause of devil fruit users feeling like someone is sittting on their chest etc... But i cant make a coherent line out of it :<
Ive bookmarked that page, thanks for that!
Flood Piece solves far too much for my peanut sized brain.
Can you give me a TLDR of Flood Piece because this could enhance it. The entire Okinawan creation mythology is a brother and sister surviving a flood.
For instance, that ceremony they conduct for the Winter Solstice pays homage to the flood. You walk into the water neck deep before walking back to a greeting of chanting and drums. It’s supposed to signify surviving a great tragedy. I can’t think of any other trial that would be as difficult than for a devil fruit user!
Flood Piece - Generally~
800 years ago there was a flood from an ancient weapon or every 800 years, there is a flood caused by Umi the god of the sea or Gaia incarnated,8 celestial bodies aligning [insert your reason here].
The flood wipes everyone except key locations (Elbaf, Wano, Red Line, Merfolks, etc). Opening wano means lowering it back to sea level. The devil fruit users souls are reborn at the Eve Tree; starting again. Only those who know in advance can prepare for it; 99% will die anyway so theres nothing you can do about it unless you can break the cycle with specific "weapons" combined with "knowledge".
Add some of your own soul lore, weapon lore, ancient kingdom lore, etc~
In this theory, Blackbeard needs to Quak Fruit to counter the flood and Yami Yami to grow food after the flood. Enel bounced back to the moon where his ancestors are from cos he knows its gonna happens soon; The voice of things is related to people constantly dying because [insert soul lore from the last 10 years].
Decken, Toki, Roger and others knew parts of it. [insert reason why the government wants balance or depopulation]
You can find many variations of the above. Pick one.
Was there ever a theory on how the one piece could just be some Sake?
The world is a dream, someone's Sake cup. I like it!
Well i mean, the lyrics to bink's sake literally say
"As we sail to the ends of the sea
To deliver bink's sake!"
Right? Sake is also actually pretty symbolic in one piece with bringing people together (think how the SH grand fleet all shared a cup of sake, or how Luffy, Sabo and Ace became brothers after sharing a cup of sake)
Could mean the big secret on Raftel is that Sake can be used to unite the world, which would defo get a laughing reaction out of Roger's crew
800 years ago, everyone in the world died and the ancient kingdom as their last will to live they castes a spell creating a world for their ancestors sot hey could live in a spectacular world. (One Piece), Imu is the Sin of that final wish trying to keep everyone asleep and maintain a balance 😉
Yes, pls don't make us remember that xd
It's One Piece was friendship all along
The more I read the more I think this nirai kanai stuff has some traction. Like this one article talks about folk tales such as Issiin-boshi, Momotaro, Uriko-hime, and Kaguya-hime describing tales of a “boy of supernatural origin” that “brings good fortunes” to men. “In the myth of Sukuna-hikona mentioned above, the child-god drifted in the water until the tide brought him to shore” reminds me of Luffy in the beginning of Wano. “Similarly, according to Nihon-Shoki, a big jar floated down the over-flowing stream Hatsuse during a great flood and a beautiful boy was found inside.” Reminds me of Luffy bursting out the barrel at the beginning of the story. In folk lore like Momotaro “many an ancient tale centers around a boy who is said to have come from the Dragon-Palace. He is believed to be the son of the Dragon-King who controls the Realm of Water.” Dragon Palace = another name for nirai kanai

Hey there, a question.. can rayleigh be garp’s brother?
no
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mnU4wopkfeE
Garp goes out of his way to describe Rayleigh; So unless its a 200 IQ secret plan, No.
idk it's not really the same, and goes along with other aspects in One Piece, i.e. All Blue
... Where is Weevil right now in the manga? Possible hes near Wano ready to give Luffy a beat down?
It's like party supplies.
Whitebeard himself with his last breaths said it was something that would put the world upsode down. It must be something completely out of the ordinary, not just a bunch of alcohol that anyone can find in any city and hasn't brought peace to the world.
Hold up, Ohara makes no sense. Why blow it up after the fact. Meaning, they knew its location before hand, that it had the Tree of knowledge. But they didnt choose to control it before hand? This is consistent with the leadership of the WG being incompetent. The presentation of "justice" is required? hmm no, they murder people all the time.
.
So I want to reference and add to Randy Troy's theory that Nami is going to adopt Tama.
The theory goes that Nami has been growing into a motherly role, with scenes like the children in Punk Hazard, which will culminate in Nami becoming a foster mother herself, like Belle-Mere was to her. Nami and Tama have been having mother/daughter interactions for some time, and even despite Tama asking Speed to become her mother, she has been acting much closer with Nami in many recent scenes.
I think this is happening, and precisely one week from now.
Speed ate the Kibi Dango on the first day of Act 1. That was 3 weeks ago (2 weeks of preparation + 1 week after the raid). The Kibi Dango effect lasts one month, so it will be released in one week.
Speed has said that she's fine the way she is and wants to stay with Tama. However, I believe she won't be saying that anymore after the spell is lifted. Speed will leave Tama, possibly violently. This will remove the diversion that was Speed, to reveal Nami as the one real mother figure for Tama.
This goes together with the Hawkins "one month from now" prediction (which was also made on the first day) to suggest that we have one week left to spend in Wano.
Look at the channel you're in, this is pretty short actually
appreciate the plug!
Wait Chopper?
Yesss. THEEEE chopper. Everyone’s favorite racoon dog
I feel like that's too many gods on one ship though
I thought that too. But the amount of little things that help support this theory is just so intriguing. A deer being the god of the forest, Blackbeards pursuit of devil fruits, chopper already having the hito hito no mi. It’s all clicking for me. Plus that little dialogue exchange between usopp and chopper was just a joke until we realized later on that luffy has a devil fruit of a different variant then chopper
Seeing the lorevidence, this is more than plausible, lets bite. Whats the next step? Assuming its true it would mean chopper is instantly dead once captured thus the plot would be over.
I mean luffy wouldn’t let that slide tho
If Chopper was "captured" instead of instantly "killed"; This can lead to many options for the final chapter. I'm trying to see an open connection to the finale. You get the 4 god fruits because.....? (Btw, I like the idea! )
Based off the gorosei’s statements relating to zoan fruits. They seem to have a will of their own. They mentioned that the nika fruit seems to always evade them. What if chopper receiving the fruit by accident was the fruit using its will to evade a potential threat like black beard
But with Chopper already being a reindeer it's hard to see him become some kind of special god
I read this to my husband,
He said that something else to think about is how Zoan users have their regular form, their zoan form, and hybrid. Technically, Luffy had gears 1-5 and his regular rubberman form. And Chopper has different forms for his point system
And he said after gear 3 Luffys consequence was he was little teeny tiny, after Monster point Chopper also has a consequence of chibi
Chopping having the "point" system actually lends even more credence that that he might be a god fruit from a creativity stand point. Whats holding it back is how it ties up the story bringing it to an end. If we can crack that, we are solid!
I'm not sure what you're trying to say
The point of Luffys God fruit is to liberate the world and maybe Choppers God fruit would be to cure the world of all sicknesses
Thats kind of the inherited will Chopper received from Hiriluk.
@cactush#8997 @cerulean geyser Following up on the nirai kanai stuff, I’m reading now that Ryukyu mythology has a demon deity made up of 3 deities. It’s name is Sanmen Daikokuten.
@tired depot I might lose service so if you pop up with anymore things and you think I miss it screenshot and dm it to me
They are very alike in that way. Both characters have multiple forms. Also to answer your question why should chopper be considered a god despite already being a reindeer. For all we know the Previous owner was probably an animal just like chopper. There’s no better representation of a forest than an animal. Animals know how to communicate with other animals.
By the way I’m at work. Hence to why I’m taking to long to respond
Bet imma add you
I made a write up that Chopper is the god of the forest. I definitely believe that there’s more to his devil fruit. Awakening transforms the user into a form that resembles the original god right? Imagine if Nika was a human, the forest god was a giant (big chopper form), the earth god was a demon (I say this is Robin after her fight/transformation against Black Maria and that she’s a Lunarian from her mom).
This makes sense bc they said Luffys fruit was evading the WG right? So maybe the God df go where they want to find someone worthy to eat the fruit.
That might be why it found Chopper so BB couldn't get it. Idk the time line there but maybe
In terms of how this will play out in the final saga. I couldn’t give you an answer lol. Who knows whats in oda’s mind. We first gotta confirm if all this is true lmaooo. But I can see it being connected to whenever the straw hats have that inevitable battle with the black beard pirates
The WG uses different strategies to distract from these people. Luffy is getting treated as equal to Law and Kid so he doesn’t stand out and they want to remove the D. Chopper has only a 50 berry bounty so nothing to see there right he’s uninteresting. Robin? We want her because she’s from Ohara… definitely not because of her devil fruit clearly having nothing real to do with flower petals and her mom looking like the spitting image of a Lunarian.
Maybe that's why bb went there. He knew Wapol got rid of all the doctors so he knew he would find that fruit there where it was needed.
Yea BB seems to have knowledge about devil fruits. The fact he automatically recogizned the YAMI YAMI no mi when thatch found it, tells you how much he’s been preparing. Him raiding drum island and not finding the hito hito no mi probably shocked him. He would have never thought that a reindeer of all things ate it
This isn't a good strategy if that's how you believe it's happening, though. Luffy is absolutely standing out, being treated as an equal in a trio who took down two Emperors isn't any kind of hiding at all
Buuuut Robin was incorrectly colored pre time skip so maybe her mom was too
He's also already got years of infamy under his belt
I think the rumble balls could be explained as pushing Chopper’s body closer to the point required for awakening. Remember the mind and body have to catch up or something.
I have really no clue why the WG hasn’t done anything to suppress Luffy he’s like the most important person in history
Olvia a lunarian??? Is that a common theory I’ve never heard of
I've heard it a few times
They can't suppress him, he's way too big in the public eye and they have very limited control of the news
That's why people can never get erased when they're actually active, they have to be hunted down and either imprisoned or killed
What’s the evidence that supports that?
She's tan with white hair lol but I'm sure she was incorrectly colored
Lol that’s it. I thought it was about to be deep

There could be more idk I'm sure there is
Well it would make sense with the biblical story of the people of Ohara being fallen angels/demons who ate from the Tree of Knowledge, just like we have the Adam and Eve trees. I thought it fit nicely with the idea that the D clan was made of all the different tribes of people including Lunarians. Robin awakened into a devil form in Wano. The devil fruit’s will chose her because she’s the last half Lunarian while King already had a fruit or was too far away.
Its doubtful Nico is a Lunarian, the WG knew about Ohara from the start; Its location;; The knowledge tree and the researchers. It was only the confirmation Nico was researching the void century that got them yeeted. Then again, the Gorosei are pretty incompetent
I think just Olvia would have been Lunarian and in hiding. Hey we have a magical gravity between D clan members and Oda included Jaguar D Saul in that flashback for some reason.
You do make a point about the devil transformation. King gave me an impression that lunarians always have wings when their fully grown. Idk it’s still a stretch
Chopper I 100% think is actually Hito Hito no mi model (Forest god name) for sure. Rumble balls push his body close towards awakening into a full giant. He almost died, had the right mind, and used rumble balls to transform the first time he went into his monster form. I think the 50 berry bounty could even be distraction like I said before. Why did the Zoan fruit’s will choose him?
To evade potential threats like BB. The same way the nika fruit evaded the WG
Robin would be at most half Lunarian and the Devil transformation had distinct Lunarian esque wings
Evidence at present points to Lunarians being among the entertainment in Marijoa which would mean King merely escaped. Nico would have to be reintroduced with a lore dump of her cutting the wings off/retracting it/being half half etc. (Possible)
You’re definitely right that I think the devil fruit was avoiding Blackbeard for sure. That adds credence to the idea in my opinion. The D clan/Dawn was avoiding the darkness. I like to think it was a big foot mink or something and that would explain also why it chose an animal over a human.
We are 1000 chapters in, 80%+ complete; we know everything and nothing. Magical 😉
The Gomu Gomu No Mi knew blackbeard was close so it opened up the box thinking Luffy might eat it? hah
Y’all haven’t even heard my idea for Zunesha being the peak of Reverse Mountain lol now that’a speculation
There’s these mountain ranges that resemble an elephant in Japan. Imagine the f’ing mountain was fed a devil fruit and carried away the in danger Minks to forever avoid the dangerous celestial dragons in Mariejoi
My friend jokingly said, a large island 800+ years ago was broken up and creatures were made to carry them around the world... Oars Senior (now Onigashima, dead), Zunesha, an underwater turtle (knockup stream) etc.
There’s gotta be a turtle like that in one piece somewhere
If y’all want another discussion, there’s no way Kuma’s fruit is explained as simply the “paw” fruit and he could have much more to that like Luffy or Chopper
Is there any connections for names in the lore you're looking at? I truly think Oda has already told us everything. Find the name of the Ancient Kingdom or Blackbeards goal and you've found it all.
The original original Kuma "is" Vegapunk or an evil version and the original Paw Paw fruit hides his location? His science group is only 3-4 people unlike Judges huge facility?????
I’ve been relating all those names to Laugh Tale to fit my head canon. Explain the hides his location part.
We dont know where Vegapunks current facility is and Kuma fruit is very useful at moving objects. The high speed power of the original fruit could be a requirement for entering the location of his base.
We already seen the :
Door Door Fruit in a Door Dimension
Castle fruit within Beige
Law opening area for manipulation.
There could be a another dimension at a different "frequency" or within the paws itself. It would be nifty for a scientist that wants peace and quiet and maybe how den den mushis were invented as he needed something that could travel in that manner? This is a stab in the dark
Interesting. But perhaps he would turn to a fruit with a pocket dimension like the door fruit, the castle fruit, or even the swamp fruit. Not sure why he’d use the paw fruit. My head canon is Kuma has a fruit that definitely doesn’t explain his power akin to Nico Robin doing a lot more than just making flower petals. He could have something else there and chose to give into the WG/become a Warlord to protect his people in Sorbet Kingdom or because the time wasn’t right for the return of the other D clan members. I mean if the dude turned out to be a god then him carrying around a Bible constantly would be the most in your face foreshadowing yet.
Anyone else think the Pluton is in Mount Fuji? That mountain is HUGH. It utterly dwarves Onigashima in the last panel of the most recent chapter.
You remind me, Zunesha could be the top of Reverse Mountain because the Vivre card said he was 35km tall all the way down to the ocean and so he’d dwarf any real life mountain, Everest, anything.
In lore, Vegapunk using a clone of an existing fruit like the castle or pockets, make sense..... but from a fan point of view, doesnt sound fun, we need something new. The bible could easily be Vegapunks note book and he deeply believes in god; In real life many of the most prolific scientists were actually very religious.
Dimensional fruits: door fruit with Blueno had a door dimension that seemed like a space between space, mirror fruit full on had it's own pocket dimension, book fruit MAKES pocket dimension books, the castle fruit turns its user into a pocket dimension, let's see, any others?
This is all on the premise that Vegapunk is Kuma, which could be right or wrong 🙂
I think Pluton is a ship still, maybe a sea stone one. I’ve got a big head canon about needing a ship to go to the sea floor.
Vegapunk cannot be Kuma. We have been shown Kuma AND Vegapunk at the same time. The manga made them look nothing alike, so it is definitely beyond a stretch to say they are the same individual in any capacity.
I just think Kuma is Kuma and his devil fruit is much more than explained. He’s got other weird things too, like the mink looking ears on his hat.
There we many Kumas.... We are assuming the biological Kuma in Marijoa is the "real" one
Kuma fruit is most definately suspicious
He could be a Franky esque built out chest kinda guy and the original Kuma was a skinny scientist, sure. I’d need more.
When Kobi and Caesar speak about Vegapunk they speak as if they've seen him. So its possible its not the large Kuma we see. The fruit might be a clue because, how does a fruit that "repels things", also "repel" the pain from a person????
Heres a wacky one.......
Vegapunk is inside of Sentomaru's left eye...
Notice the Tomoe?
Not sure I follow you with the eye. Kuma is definitely more like the one god that was melon only and sacrificed for other people’s happiness. He repels bad things, most able to spread happiness, like the most free Nika.
The tomoe is a real world thing going back to Okinawa, which keeps popping up. Sentomaru is not cannon fodder either knowing the difference between versions/models. and they listen to him. Pretty odd for a body guard to be walking around with just some robots; (I dont recall the real kuma being there that day)
When we see vegapunks face?
We haven't, we saw Kuma's face in front of Vegapunk's body.
Ok. I don’t remember that scene. Gotta chapter number by chance?
Here is the only panel we have that shows any of Vegapunk, except one rough silhouette in a Caesar flashback.
Bet. Thank you 🙏🏾 for the facts
Lmao seeing that photo makes me instantly think Buggy’s shirt
Also with current knowledge there’s gotta be something more to Kuma’s ears there. Something mink related. He could have been a mink and ate a Hito Hito no mi mythical or not, something that would explain more than a paw repelling everything and anything
That cant be https://onepiece.fandom.com/wiki/SBS_Volume_63
Oda drew them all as kids for an SBS including Kuma
Modified with Mink dna later?
I think they're just fake ears on a hat. A dude named bear with bear ears on his hat. It's not that deep.
It could be that it's not the void century in particular the WG is worried about, but it's everything they've done up until now.
Like, if you revealed to the world what happened during that 100 years, sure they may get pissed and you may regret them knowing, BUT this may have them question everything else you've done or have been doing.
Like, the WG lied about amber lead, and a bunch of doctors around the world probably would think "Wait, so I could have possibly cured all those patients that came to me asking for help without risk of infection? OH GOD WHAT HAVE I DONE?" or the truth about what really happened on robin's island about how they just wanted to study, it's like "the world government did that just for them to understand things?"
so it's not JUST about what happened 800 years ago, it's about opening the flood gates of a whole bunch of questions of "what else have they lied about?"
We gotta seriously consider the idea that humans are actually aliens/from another planet and the WG is covering that up to prevent inquiry to whatever happened before. There’s so much with the moon, what’s going on with Enel, and most blatant of all is that Celestial Dragons wear what can only be described as spacesuits. Probably came here, killed or enslaved every non compliant species, and stole their islands. The Lunarians could be a long line of genocide in a path of making humans seem normal or maybe the only race on the planet. Maybe 5 or so reveries from now all the other human like creatures are extinct once Im picks lights to go out.
Maybe that’s too extreme lol. Rayleigh did make it seem like something ambiguous that can the Strawhats could interpret differently. Maybe the perspective he’s talking about is the ends justify the means.
This is part of Alien Piece as I call it, we know for certain Gaia (as i call it) has at least 6- moons, Vearth is one and Enel is there. The moons appear desolate as if they are baron
We dont know who came from where when or how. We do know Lunarians existed on Marijoa before they got evicted by the world government roughly 800 years ago.
I refer to it as Alien Piece as theres literally 100+ theories on who the aliens where and when and why.
Could be earth after a nuclear war or climate change. That’d be dark.
if you also look closely, its clearly One Piece's planet and the red line already exists. The colors may or may not be relevant.
I believe Vearth is the tiny little dusty one.
btw, this is the source of the "Imu is an alien" theories 🙂
spoilers when
Not the place to ask. Get the spoiler role and wait for your ping
did u see parvisions theory that the void century is named after blackbeards fruit? like the opposite of the sun is the void? and blackbeard has the void fruit?
Wat
He has not only the powers of darkness but gravity as well, sucking in things like a black hole
Youtubers making theories of localized names
The literal name of Void Century in japanese is "100 years of blank"
Or a 100 year void whichever way you wanna put it. Youtube these days is just filled with clickbait theories that you can find anywhere
Kaido is so not dead
Wano was a CIA World Government Operation
50 years ago, a young Stussy as part of CP assisted 2 individuals we call Higurashi Kurozumi and Semimaru to infiltrate Wano with a clear goal in mind; Orochi was manipulated into becoming Shogun with the intent of gaining access to something specific in Wano, likely the ancient weapon or putting down the Samurai; This took an abrupt end when Kaido went left field and was difficult to manipulate and Orochi was hell bent on revenge more than anything. The CP organisation years later saw an opportunity to use Doflamingo as middleman to keep the balance of power.
This will be expanded on in the next few chapters through Yamato.
Stussy is 75+ years ago. Likely does not have a devil fruit, shes just really pretty and takes care of herself which will be a running joke later
- We saw the young Stussy as part of Higurashi transformations
- We know of at least 1 family that existed outside of Wano (Amatsuki and potentially Kuzomi's as entertainers)
- We know Stussy has been part of the intelligence agency and she is currently part of the entertainment district
- Stussy age is one of the few Vive cards we have for a human that does not specify an age.
- Higurashi had access to 3 powerful devil fruits which is not normal
- Orochi knew his grand father but did not recognise Higurashi or Semimaru which is odd but plausible for a kid on the run
- Rob Lucci is a wildcard here; He should be on the run or dead for his failure but instead was promoted and working with Stussy in CP0!
Hello YouTubers lurking for content 😉
==================
On a separate note, I still fall on the side that an enemy Wano clan or unknown family we are yet to meet are the true rulers of the world government.
We all think there’s going to be a tragedy in the next part of wano right? Hasn’t jimbei been set up to sacrifice himself for luffy for a while?
I think its too early for that, but yeah I’ve heard many say act 3 is usually where the tradgedy happens
Wdyt?
I think that's partially true, but he wanted Luffy to be a marine. If it was for purely that, he wouldn't have bothered so much with training and beaten the ideology of being a marine into him
He wanted luffy to be "safe" but he's safer as a marine than a pirate
I have a question/theory
Can jewelry bonney use her fruits abilities with through like bodily fluids or something like that
If that theory was true, maybe Garp was waiting for Luffy to be old enough to join the Marines. The wg would probably be ok with a marine with the "gomu gomu" fruit. Easy to keep an eye and ready to search for it when he dies.
Bonney has one of the simplest to understand DF powers, she can manipulate her own age
They would be, especially since he's the grandson of Garp
What would awakening it be like
Nah I think it’s just that garp doesn’t believe in himself as a dad. Or else why would he have sent ace before
Questions like this go in manga and also manga please
Kaido and Big Mom are likely on Big Mom's ship. Do I have evidence? No. Do I think they got blown out of the volcano and found by BM's crew? Yes.
You can theorize about Bonney's power pretty accurately. We know that the world government is looking for her specifically, that she has ties to Kuma, former royalty of a Kingdom, and that her power allows her to change ages. The 5 Elders might be the OG five elders if two things happened; once every 50ish years they can find the user of Bonney's fruit and have the user de-age them so they could live longer, or they all had the immortality surgery done on them by at least 5 previous users of the Ope Ope no Mi. Speculative, but possible. We know nothing about their ages, names, or how long they've had their positions, but they seem comfortable talking down even to Sakazuki, the fleet admiral himself, treating him almost like a "young man," even though one of the Gorosei looks similar in relative age to Akainu. Bonney's fruit, like Luffy's and Law's, could be one of the fruits that the WG tries to attain every incarnation of because they use it's power to maintain their control on society.
Right, but its leaked that he has the darkness fruit and not the void fruit :D oda twisted us all with ruffys fruit. A second time would be lame :D
My speculation is that immortality surgery has something to do with it, gorosei have not aged at all. Bonney could even be Kuma's daughter living under a fake name
Very. If the names are twisted again, its likely in a predictable fashion. There are better ways to mess with us all. Yonko buggy is top tier 😉
Buggy being Yonko now brings fresh jokes into context. In Episode 512, (i forget the manga chapter)
Buggy learned that Rayleigh was working with Luffy.
Buggy's theory was that because Dragon is Luffy's father, Garp is is his grand father, Rayleigh must be his uncle.
I wonder how much time the joke will continue... Oda will keep hiding buggy information during some more chapters?? Or what he will say about Buggy Pirates will hype people even more during some weeks?
We all view it as a joke but I look at it as a joke for the reader but serious in the manga.
When power vaccumes open up, someone has to fill it. Buggy really is Yonko level due to how the world government perceives things.
To me it makes sense anyway, I will not be surprised if the next arc leads us to the "Underworld" where Buggy has taken over some of the financial blackmarketthat was left from Doflamingo, Caesar and others; Stussy causing Wano's downfall 50+ years ago, CP0 expanded on leading to the final plot.
I dont have a fancy YouTube channel or well documented charts 🙂
She could be his wife or mother even; with her ability to change age it's impossible to tell, but something tells me she is older than she lets on. Maybe not, but I can picture her having been Kuma's queen or daughter.
If "immortality" is linked with Bonnie and its that important. Why would Blackbeard willingly hand her over to the government in exchange for a warship?
But....... **Akainu **did go to Blackbeard personally to pickup Bonnie which was strange. He abadonned his ship and left bonnie tied up; thats how she got caught.
The Gorosei can fairly certainly be said to not be any kind of immortals. They had no first hand knowledge about the Nika fruit, and refer to the past World Government as a separate entity almost
What do you guys think about Luffy being the "One Piece"?
Hoping that is the case.. I desire the best to our Legend Mr.Sat Buggy-sama
The simplest explanation for Bonnie is that she is part of the revolutionary army, recruited by Kuma; This also explains why she saved Zoro, a strawhat pirate.
We do know that she previously "escaped from the government" but that could of been when the Sorbet Kingdom was destroyed by the WG. Princess Bonnie is a fine contender.
Well, she saved Zoro because if he'd attacked then an admiral would've fallen onto Sabaody sooner, and it wasn't something she wanted to deal with. His being a strawhat had nothing to do with it
I think thats perfectly fine also; There are far larger mysteries that are fun 🙂
I'm all in on Enemy Wano clan rules the World Government; likely Amatsuki; until Oda embarrasses me. The Admirals literally move and act like Yazuka bosses which I find hilarious.
Does this sound familiar?—I ate the blank blank fruit and became a blank human!
When somebody eats a devil fruit, the piece(s) they swallow lie dormant inside of them. And as long as it is inside of them, the person is able to utilize its power. When somebody awakens, they merge with that piece(s) and become the devil fruit!
Let's use Doflamingo as an easy example. Doffy became a string human after eating the Ito Ito no Mi. In short: he eats the fruit, it lies dormant inside of him and turns him to a string human.
Once he awakened however, he became the Ito Ito no Mi and earned the ability to turn other things into string. By making contact with the ground, it becomes a string ground; by making contact with a building, it becomes a string building etc.
More evidence:
In dressrosa, Doffy says "It's very rare, but some powers can awaken and affect objects aside from the wielder!"
In wano, Kaido says "Awakening is what happens when your body and mind catch up to your powers."
Once your body and mind "catch up" to your powers, you merge with the fruit and become it! Congrats! Now you're the one that gives power to objects and people.
Law is giving his sword the power to make an operation.
Kidd is giving big mom's body the properties of a magnet
Luffy is giving the ground, Kaido, and the others that surround him the properties of rubber/rubberhose.
Big Mom is giving the souls of others the ability to be used to create buddies.
Doflamingo is giving the ground and other things in his surroundings the properties of string.
Katakuri is giving the mirror world the properties of mochi.
etc. etc.
Obviously there's definitely more to this, but I think on a fundamental level this is how devil fruits work.
Here's where things get pretty cool though (albeit very tin foil). Remember how I said 'now you become the one who gives power to objects and people?' This is exactly how objects are able to eat devil fruits!! Have you noticed that all objects who've 'eaten' devil fruits are a zoan type?
- the canon that ate the dog fruit...
- the sword that ate the elephant fruit...
- the teapot that ate the tanuki fruit...
An object can only be brought to life by a fruit with a will. A teapot can't eat the flame flame fruit but it can get the power of the flame flame fruit through a mythical zoan that has the power to control fire.
I believe that once you awaken, you can be turned into a mythical zoan devil fruit.
Zoans are the only fruit that don't need to be eaten by a sentient being since they already have a mind of their own.
In other words, Sun God Nika isn't a 'god.' he is a Lunarian that ate the gum gum fruit and got turned into mythical zoan. (and yes, I do think that Imu has the original Gomu Gomu no Mi just like she has the original Straw Hat)
Yamato's fruit is a wolf that ate the ice ice fruit and got turned into a mythical zoan.
etc.
Catarina Devon's fruit is of a 9 tailed fox that ate Bon Clay's fruit.
One Piece has a lot of false gods. Nika is one. Just like Usopp is. Just like the Celestial Dragons are.
If you were a slave and got freed by happy go lucky man who's body emitted fire and was made out of rubber, would you not call him a God?
Also, who is just born with the power to stretch like rubber? What humans in the One Piece world do we know were born with strange powers besides Lunarians? Minks? (they aren't even humans).. What else? No one... And for the example of Catarina, you might be asking how does a 9 tailed fox exist? It's artificial. what other mythical creatures fr exist outside of devil fruits?? The two dragons we saw at punk hazard were artifical... why would Catarina's fruit be anything but an artifically created creature.
This works for Hito Hito No Mi: Model Budha but How does a Phoenix Become a mythical zoan?
Blackbeards 10th Titanic Captain candidates in no particular order
- Fishman: Arlong,
- A shanks pirate
- Former Admiral Kuzan,
- Whos'Who????
- New character
Black beard is able to use 2 devil fruits because in his fight with ace he stated that his dark dark fruit can suck others devil fruits powers so he used his dark to absorb the quake fruit in whitebeards heart
So why is everyone assuming the 10th captain is Arlong? This makes 0 sense and he is absurdly weak for new world standards, Jinbei would squash him. It has to be someone new, I don't think it's Aokiji either simply because he's just an "ally" to BB pirates, he's not their member
The few tidbit arguments ive read is based on there being no fishmen on Blackbeards crew and Oda brings characters back + lorevidence of things Arlong said. ¯_(ツ)_/¯
Kuzan is brought up often that he will make a "deal" to join. /shrug
A new character is the highest probability, a clean slate.
I personally follow the idea of Who The Elusive, his identity is a noteworthy plot point with a pending plot point to resolve with the red haired pirates not the gomu gomu no mi and being imprisoned, the pirates themselves.
I would love to see more manga pages about Mr Racist Cat.
I am biased as I also fall on the side of Stussy being the cause of Wano being overthrown and the next Arc will involve CP0/Underworld before moving on
There is a theory about shiki being the 10th
I think fruits like that and Orochi's (which is a mythical zoan too) were artificially created like the dragons at Punk Hazard and Vegapunk's recreation of Kaido's fruit
You guys have any theories about BB's DF awakenings?
I think Yami Yami = Infinite Void and Gura Gura = Infinite Destruction. Basically, images that instead of a quake breaking a brick into 4 pieces, those 4 pieces continue to split indefinitely, becoming kinda like a fractal
These powers combined essentially turn him into a man able to destroy and consume the entire world, able to return the world back to nothing
I'm watching some theory videos, anyone else remember the cover story with the big wooden cross on Mihawk's island? He always wears a cross necklace. The wood looked to be GROWN in that way, so I am thinking the World Tree Adam might have something to do with the cross.
I’m of the belief that yami is like the gomu. Like ace even says bb doesn’t act like a normal logia. And the gura that sounds cool doesn’t that mean it would never end? I’d say it might be the ability to do the opposite. Instead of shattering it can repair or fuse things
I think it's total annihilation because that makes more sense for him to have that ability than becoming a repair guy
Well bb has a durability issue that fixes it
Like, we're talking the final boss here, his ability kinda has to be insane hax. Also, Yami awakening probably fixes durability as well
How? I don’t think an awakening has fixed a weakness ever Luffy is still weak to blades even in g5
Basically, infinite black + infinite annihilation just seems appropriate as the final ability for Luffy to fight. Or, maybe the durability issue is fixed because everything attacking him is in and of itself part of the darkness
G5 could resist the endless black via the whole imagination clause to it
Nah it couldn’t yami stops df abilities
Maybe Haki counters that?
That’s my guess
Luffy's Haki is crazy strong tbf. Could leave everyone with crazy Haki + BB alive for the final fight
Idk like infinite quake is cool but it’s infinite like it never stops like why would you ever use it
BB doesn't seem to care much about how much he has to destroy to achieve his goals. Also, the I-Quake would be limited to something hit by the initial quake.
How tho the quake isn’t an internal hit it’s thing everything around it
I imagine WB could've had this power, but chose not to use it because he's not that kind of guy. Also, what I mean is that the quake's awakening would only activate on an object that was damaged by the normal quake
So the infinite quake doesn't spread, it just destroys what's already been broken
Like, if the quake hits in a sphere, only that sphere decays
Yea but that like crazy op all you need is one shot to kill someone
Again, final boss we're talking here
Guys, this conversation is better for one of the main manga channels
It is internal, they're vibrations
Wb sends quakes through the air tho? Like they manifest physically?
**Shanks does not have a special ship or power to travel fast per se. **I'm gonna walk back on accepting that idea.
I'm moving closer to the absurd idea that there is a tree soo massive it extends upwards into space and has its own oceans and rivers, the "World Tree" Adam. If you know where some of the roots are, you can ride it up then use it as a shortcut to go to a place like Marine Ford; Enter Shanks;
A stretch would be Kaido and King are aware some of the trees roots near Wano; They used it to get to marine ford but encountered Shanks + Giants who told them to go back.
There is more than enough lorevidence to support its existence
- Big Moms home town
- Shots outside of another point of Elbaf
- Giant Jack in Skypea + Godfell stating there is an easier way to get up.
- 2 known giant trees
This is an absurd idea as it would have to be so high in the sky as to border line reach outer-space.
Thematically being in the north would fit but the Strawhats have mostly been North of the Grand Line;
It was all a dream
@cerulean geyser I got a big update on that Nirai Kanai theory that would explain potentially the D clan/maybe void century. It’s super obvious.
Luffy's COC is second to almost none by this point. I think Shanks is the only one shown with a matched will. The other Emperor's have their fruits and strength, and while we know Shanks is strong, all we have seen of his power is his haki.
I love to read it here some time. There is no "D clan" or the "Will of D" that i take seriously. Lots of "oh that would be cool"
I’m gonna make a write up tonight and probably tomorrow. This theory is going to be like 15 pages and 30 sources by the end. Explain D clan and Laugh Tale.
give me warning before it drops.
@cerulean geyser Remember that picture of Sentomaru you showed me? You know the logo on his chest how it has the mitsudomoe design like Enel? I have something that relates to my theory and that directly.
That’s the Ryukyu Kingdom royal crest/flag. This second part I’m working on is supposing the D clan is a parallel for the Ryukyu Kingdom that was annexed/colonized by Japan in 1879. Tell me their flag doesn’t look like the logo Enel has, a guy who thinks he’s a God, over a red horizontal line like the Red Line. Also with Sentomaru, doesn’t his logo look like the Ryukyu Kingdom royal crest with a new logo supplanting it? Like the people who colonized the Ryukyu. That symbol could have relation to the D clan.
They forced assimilation by banning the Ryukyu language and banning teaching the history in school, both were unpatriotic as Ryukyu is now Okinawa and serves Japan.
Good spot. Im happy to accept Ryukyu is the closer analogies compared to other theories such as the ancient kingdom was based on Ancient Rome and the incident with the Sea People that ended up taking down most of the Tyre kingdoms or the Ancient Babylonians + Hanging Gardens
I did not realise there was language banning and assimilation.
Jaya (a mislabelling of -> Gaia), Wano, Geoise seem like pretty good contenders for the ancient countries name all serving different plots.
1: Gaia meaning the island we call Jaya was once larger then forcefully broken up and the small part renamed Jaya
2: Same as the first but Wano is merely one of the Islands that was dragged away by an Oni
3: Geoise meaning the WG booted out the ancient kingdom, took their home called it Mary Geoise
4: Tarai - meaning the ancient kingdom is within the 3 gates somewhere
5: Another unknown island
You've given new thoughts.... hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm
Hello YouTubers reading this 😉
If Lunarians were actually called "Dragons"; This would open a lot more new context.
The 20 kingdoms defeated their foe, moved to their home changing all the names to write their enemy out of history.
Geoise becomes Mary Geoise
Dragons become Heavenly Dragons
Food for thought.
The southern hemosphere is suspicious

I’m 1300 words into the void century
Skypians dont know the value of Gold (like Enel confirms here in chapter 260) ... But Birkans (like Enel) did know of the value of Gold and its use for technology. So this confirms that Birka was not isolated from the outer world like Skypia, since Enel knows of the value gold holds even for the Blue Sea people?
Shandora was destroyed 800 years ago (chapter 261)... but why did the invaders not take the gold of the golden city? This means
a) The invaders that destroyed Shandora had no Value for Gold (meaning they where Skypians, since the rest of the world did value gold)
b) The invaders where in such a hurry/ short on time, they did not care for the Gold and only wanted to destroy the protectors. (Celestial dragons are greedy and would love Gold/Money, that would be not in character for them)
c) The invaders where chased away before they could steal the gold and destroy all the history there. (Shandorian remnants / reinforcements?)
d) It was more gold than the invaders could feasibly transport away. The invaders carried away some gold but their boats where full to the brim and would sink with more gold. + they where in a hurry Option (b) / could never return
Conclusion: the Shandorians defended their city chased the thieves away. But at great costs: smh they forgot how to rebuild their city / did not live in their city, where greatly reduced in numbers and forgot how to read Poneglyphs, weird ...
Because Tokis fruit was introduced, that makes also for crazy possibilites, like the Shandorians sending reinforcements(not as technological advanced, cant read Poneglyphs) into the future to defend their failing civilization becoming enslaved by the Celestial Dragons in the void Century.... but that is way to complicated 🤯
Why would Nika be lunarian?
Red hawk
It's just friction and cartoon physics, Lunarians have several traits other than pyrokinesis: lunarians are noted for the following distinctive traits: a pair of black-feathered wings on their back (similar to, but significantly larger than, the wings of sky island residents), as well as silver-white hair and brown skin. In addition, lunarians have a plume of fire visibly, near-constantly burn on their upper back, although it will go out at certain points.
Lunarians are of the Dark Side of the Moon, Birkans, Shandorians, Skypeans from the light.
(moon has a fixed rotation)
I'm starting to realize all fights from now on will have to be at night
why only at night?

My theory is that the grim reaper we see confront Zoro is actually the spirit of Pluton coming to challenge him after Zoro claimed himself to be the king of hell. So naturally with Pluton, the God of the Underworld, being in Wano, the spirit of the ancient weapon came to confront Zoro himself on the matter
I've heard that one, it's the Klabautermann of Pluton, which IS Onigashima or something of that nature.
I know it's just a mountain, but I want SOMEONE to address in the story how absolutely massive Mt Fuji is . Look at Onigashima; we know it is like a mile tall or something or that nature. It is TINY compared to the mountain in the back, which seems to be easily 5-10 miles tall. It has NEVER looked that big before in any panel, so I think Oda is finally showing us it's true scale for SOME reason. LOOK AT IT.
No other angle has ever made it look this big. This is an anime shot but it seems vastly smaller than how it is depicted in the most recent chapter. It's kind of mind blowing how big he made it in the newest chapter. I know we got SO MUCH INFO in the last couple chapters but for some reason the size of this mountain really stuck out to me. Probably insignificant, but Wano WAS the land of Gold and we haven't got info on that, Wano IS where seastone was mined/made, and we haven't got info on that, and I feel like the mountain has to have some significance due to geological regions in a land that is famous for two things having to do with minerals/stone.
to me the ghost is kitetsu only cause the shop keeper told zoro that he might die cause the sword is cursed
Yo we are so down bad rn. we are out here analyzing the mountains in the background for even the slightest clue as to what happens next. This break is really affecting people
If it was any sword I think it would be Enma. It's the King of Hell and it's original wielder has died.
there's just so many things Oda has opened up about in Wano that haven't been addressed or wrapped up since their introduction. That, combined with a month of silence means we have to work with what we have, which is a lot, so it's nice to see people honing in on different things and trying to get to the root of their mysterious. Wano as the land of Gold, Seastone, the Poneglyph, Big Mom and Kaido's whereabouts; so many things, and I'm forgetting a whole bunch. The Shimotsuki history's another and Zoro's connection. Shusui's ultimate fate and info on Ryuma. SO MUCH.
If you're using mountain ranges are lorevidence for whats going to happen next then here is a solid one for you.
A rival old wano clan rule the world government; The next arc will lead us closer to CP0 revelations that Stussy caused the whole Wano overthrow incident; Higurashi/Sen told a partial lie to Orochi, they were never a "royal clan".
Whos Who is going to leave Wano causing drama and join Blackbeard as the 10th captain; Whos Who was in Impel down and broke out when Luffy caused havoc, ironically the Sun God freed him. We may also have seen his face or may not.
3 weeks for me to be proven wrong, lets go
Toki's family who "from" Wano 800 years ago?
I think Who's would serve Luffy upon finding out he is Nika, if he finds out, but we have no idea where anyone from the Beast Pirates are right now outside of Udon, where only two commanders were shown and no Flying Six

We ask that people post a bit of a summary when posting a link here so people have the gist of what they are clicking. Like "they say the D clan are devils and imu is an angel" or something like that
ok. better now?
perfect, thank you
Incoming everyone said they thought it was "One Peace" all along 😉
Agrees quite a bit with my "theory of everything" theory I've posted here before
link?
interesting. i oved the part where Garp and Xebec are brothers in law
Whoever originated the idea of the kingdom being named "Kingdom of One Peace" is a novel idea. Im stealing it and exiting the Flood theory.
If we cut up existing theories posted in this chat. We might have found it. [forgive me for not remembering who said what]
- Greg mentioned the 100 years referring to the years they spent integrating their enemies into the empire; then discriminating against those that refused
- Someone mentioned the 4th pone-glyph required for finding the location deep in the ocean
- Someone mentioning D being the brand of all the Ancient Kingdoms descendants
- I am dying on the hill that an enemy Wano clan is the highest of the 19 clans
This would counter
- "Flood Piece" the planet is constantly flooding every 800 years
- Imu being an immortal evil
- Imi being Umi the sea god or Gaia reincarnated
TLDR: video by Hidden Island
800+ Years ago there existed an advanced and expansive kingdom called The Kingdom Of One Peace. They were very peaceful and ruled by "Joyboy" who went around defeating evil rulers and brought the kingdoms under his rule peacefully.
20 pirates came together and formed the "World Government" and the secret the WG does not want anyone to find out is that the Celestial Dragons are in fact descendants of pirates.
The former kingdom is located deep underwater.
Lots of allegories of defeating slavers, luffy, the pirate king being literal, the strawhat being the crown of the pirate king, and more.
so i was just thinking and came up with a theory and am curious to hear others opinions : we know brook hasn't had a devil fruit awakening even though during his time of being a devil fruit eater he has been a army leader , a pirate and a straw-hat. We also saw merry on skypia manifest a soul due to the care and love the ship received . the straw hat crew often referred to merry as a member of their crew as well . What if brooks awakening is able to bring a soul back into the material world as we know he has a connection to the afterlife due to his ability's. I was wondering what if merry is a future member of the strawhats instead of carrot and that he/she is able to re-join the crew this could also be similar with sunny. Id expect brook to awaken soon as he's fought big mom and manymany others so i dont consider my theory to be far fetched
so becomming pirate king means to become king of the world? Since the WG can also be considered to be a massive pirate crew
Yes.
The world government is run by "pirates"
The world government arent pirates by they are run by pirates and the people calling themselves gods are just their descendants.
This begs the question, what is at the core of the 19 families that is strong enough to keep Sakazuki in his place for him to not run the world? What pirate level power do they have to put people in their place? Haki that is so strong it can be passed down lineage?
Is that what the black thing surrounding Imu is?
I don't agree that the ancient kingdom was called "The Kingdom of One Piece." We know Roger didn't give his treasure the name "One Piece." The world named it that (only after he reached Laugh Tale). How would the world come up with the name of the ancient kingdom? We don't see Roger spread that name around himself.
I like the theory that the world government was founded by pirate more. We know from Doflamingo that twenty kings came together to form the world government. Those could easily have been pirate kings for all we know. The Nefeltari family is a wild card though. (Were they pirates too?) ... I do like the idea of Roger laughing because he found out the world government is really just a bunch of pirates.
Some of these ideas are ok, some are completely outlandish and DEEPLY speculative.
I think as soon as the strawhats know about the void century, they're utterly shocked, but it's not gonna be that horrific or monstrous.
Someone from the WG or Imu himself, might see them, and go "so you figured it all out, you know exactly what happened" and while they may try to argue that they didn't need to hide this, they point out the fact it'll cause a domino effect.
One massive secret gets out, the world starts to question you. People become afriad, enveous, angry, and then more secrets are exposed.
It's not what was hidden 800 years ago, it's what's been hidden FOR 800 years.
Every kept secret, every assassination, slave trade, genocide, false spread of information, lie, war, etc, will be spilled and would cause utter chaos.
So they don't want people to find out VC information because people will get upset over, they don't want people discovering VC information because this will bring into question what else were they lied about?
If the ancient kingdom is called One Piece, it wont be of the logic used in the youtube video. The Ohara incident and others happened before Roger blurting it out before he died.
"One Peace" is just a good of as guess as anything else to be honest. We can all head cannon something.
Whoever came up with the idea that the strawhat is a crown is good; the Youtuber or whoever he got it from.
At this point its pretty clear the world government is run by pirates; thats the joke
I've been specific these last few days that they its an enemy Wano family at the top
Who here remembers the scene from the anime where Buggy talks about garp dragon luffy and then says that Rayleigh might be Luffy's uncle?
Any answers for this??

I think Buggy was over thinking why Luffy fas so many strong connections, and the fact Roger's son was his brother, the hero was his grandpa and the most wanted man is dad.
So it's more like "jeez, who else is he connected to? Wait, he was with Rayliegh, WAIT, WAS THE VICE CAPTAIN HIS UNCLE?"
I doubt he is but it's just an idea he randomly had.
Throwing away Flood Piece theory but keeping an enemy Wano clan of pirates running the world government. This begs the question, what was the name of the leading pirate and his crew? The Davy Pirates? Lead by Davy Jones a Boxer with the strongest haki, a fishman using karate? A swordsman from Wano? A doctor from the Doxi family?
Time to read the Davy back arc again;
This isn't my theory obviously but instead is someone that predicted Nika Nika https://www.reddit.com/r/OnePiece/comments/s4qc40/luffy_didnt_eat_gomu_gomu_no_mi_chapter_1037/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=ios_app&utm_name=iossmf
Pretty cool
D is donkey,on ancient times theres slaves everywhere and some people stands for them and they called them idiot/donkey/stupid thats why people in ancient times call the people like that as donkey/dumb/idiot
They seem to have similar beards
big mom was gonna marry Xebec and she had the fish fish fruit as a wedding present. rodger and garp couldn’t let that happen so they crashed it
I have a really stupid far fetched theory but what if Blackbeards multiple personality/souls ends up being true and the only way to beat him is by using buggy’s awakening to split them apart and fight them seperately 😂
What if Buggy accidentally stumbled onto the last Road Poneglyph and that’s why the World Government declared him a Yonko
"Davy Jones Family" + enemy Wano clan at the top of the WG reveal coming soon; Momo will be forced to open Wanos boarders wether he likes it or not.
Please don’t post messages behind untagged spoiler tags. It makes people wonder if spoilers are allowed here, and they are not. And it’s also just kinda forcing people to click something for no reason
That’s can’t be the sole reason bc Luffy had a couple and wasn’t called a yonko until rn
imean yonko has alot of factors other than being dangerous, cuz buggy has a major following and influence cuz of his history with the roger pirates
Influence and territory controlled are factors. Luffy has a lot of territories in his protectorate, both in Paradise AND the New World.
Little Garden is there's due to being protected by Dorry and Brogy, who will likely come to serve as part of the Giant Pirates. Alabasta is definitely known to affiliate with the Straw Hats, at least on a national level, since the WG tried to cover it up. Drum Island is the same and basically would go to war for the Straw Hats. Luffy is a legend on Jaya but doesn't own it and it will remain a general pirate island. Water 7 is definitely an ally in pretty much every aspect, and would sail for the Mugiwara. Newkama land and Momoiro Island would sail for the SH's, since the Okamas are revolutionaries. Karakuri would sail for them as well since Franky did so much work there. The revolutionary territories will likely ally with the Straw hats by the end, adding dozens of known and unknown islands. And there's Amazon Lilly, Dressrosa, Zou, and now Wano too. They have TURF. Oh fuck and the OG "claimed" turf Fishman Islands, where Luffy announced it was his. He absolutely has territory comparable to a Yonkou, considering the size and power of some of the kingdom's under his protectorate.
What if shanks gassed up buggy infront of the gorosei seeing how the gag is buggy seeming like a really dangerous individual so it wouldnt be surprising if that was so
I doubt it. There’s much more pressing ppl to talk about like bb
The D is a smile
anyone else able to join
caribou is blackbeard's 10th commander
i bet blackbeard isn’t a logia but really a special paramecia
based theory
If its true immma be a lil mad haha
Yeah I watched that video and found it pretty interesting. I like the theory on the origins of the WG a lot. I don’t like his theory for the name of the great kingdom tho at all just because I really don’t like the sound of it
Yeah I could definitely see the origins of the WG being that, considering how corrupt they are
What if Shanks knew Kaido and Big Mom might be going down and setup Buggy to fill the power vacuum? That would explain his motivation for doing so.
While I don't believe this because of the light fruit being a genuine logia, and the darkness fruit should naturally be in the same classification, this would explain why Blackbeard isn't able to simply transform into intangible darkness like a real logia user should.
sorry i’m thinking it’s a mythical zoan of like a god of darkness now
dis
I was reading the wiki on the Nagi Nagi no Mi and was wondering if the field could have other uses. Like how even is the soundproof field created? Does it reflect or absorb the energy, can it be done with different energies, can this effect be used for defence, offence? or is it a layer of vacuum that somehow does not get destroyed. Could the vacuum return to its normal state ant pull in air or used as a lethal way to cut our oxygen. or is it a solid barrier that does not react to vibration but is very easily broken as to thing it is just a field (Bari Bari no mi style).
Are there some common theories on how that fruit works? it only is stated, that it has no protective ability against attacks and that still leaves so much room to play
How would he know? There’s no narrative that they would team up. I’m fact they tried killing each other the moment they said each other bm and kaido
He may have faith or a strong idea Luffy may beat them, but not a certainty or for def prediction of the events
Maybe blackbeard's 10th commander is mihawk since he said he's pursuing something that the WG also after or it could just be aokiji
new Road to Laugh Tale has details similar to this theory I wrote a few days ago
At the time he talks to them he wouldn’t even know Luffy would be seeking them and he at best would say it’s Luffy vs kaido not bm also. Also how shanks know Luffy gonna beat 2 yonko?
Mihawk doesnt fit thematically in BB pirates since Shiryu's already there, also him being Shanks's rival and a friend it's more likely he'd join Shanks
It’s prob just gonna be aokiji
I never understood why people think aokiji is the 10th commander. He was constantly characterized throughout the story as being an actual good guy. Why would he become part of the main crew of the main villain?
Luffy and Dragon are gonna meet after they leave Wano. They will team up to save Sabo and Luffy will finally make up for not saving Ace
I actually hope that happens We need luffy and dragon
He’s not a good guy tho? He’s at best neutral. And he could have some agenda for joining.
I think despite his character flaws, he is portrayed as being a good guy (or good predispositions, like some other marines: Smoker, Coby, Garp or Fujitora) rather than a bad one. But sure,we can go with neutral.
The explanation we're given is just that the darkness absorbs everything, nothing can pass through. It's not likely to be any kind of other classification, the Gomu Gomu was stated as uniquely changed.
The Yami Yami probably isn't going to be some mythical fruit, just a logia that doesn't let things pass through. Blackbeard still becomes darkness.
I find that pill hard to swallow… it’s the literal only logia fruit that acts differently. You’d expect darkness to be intangible as a logia power, like Kizaru or any others. Something’s up, his devil fruit is probably special like Luffy’s but they reclassified as Logia not Paramecia. Luffy had strange properties for a Paramecia too that most people shrugged off for the longest time
That would be because he was confirmed to have joined Blackbeard ?
He was confirmed to be an ally to them, and a very unreliable too. We still don't know what that exactly means. But sure, maybe he really became a commander.
I mean once we know that he's working with them to some extent, it's unevitable that the guy is gonna be a big deal in the Blackbeard Pirates organisation. He's gotta be stronger than most of the titanic captains. It's really not a stretch to assume he is one
To theorize that he is one I mean
Iirc we get a conversation with Burgess where they say "it's just like Shiryu". That does suggest he could be part of the crew proper
im thinking that aokiji lowkey joined the bb pirates and the revolutionary army as a double agent
I mean he's got to be something like a double agent, it's not like he has become a bad guy for real.
Unless there's something we don't know that makes Blackbeard's actions/plans coincide with Kuzan's ideas about justice ?
Aokiji may also be working with Sword
Bb pirates and revo work together, they destroyed the base to show no evidence that they are a team now.
This is why i don't like narratively for Aokiji to be a titanic captain. If he would become a bad guy for real, then i'm fine, but i'm expecting any time a betrayal from him.
no way, BB wants to become ruler of the world and revo army wants everyone to be free, even if they have a common enemy there's no way dragon would want to work w BB, or that BB would work w revo bc sabo took ace's fruit and BB wants it to have Ace on his crew
i dont think that dragon cares about freeing the world and i also dont think that he care about ace , his main goal is defeating the actual system and for this he will need big help, the revo army is not strong enough to contest the world leaders, we saw their commanders and their powers. it wont be enough and i think dragon is smart enough to realise and make a compromise. and bb is also smarter than people think , he knows when to fight, when to ally and when to run as we saw in marineford and before.
why wouldn't dragon care? plus bb getting power would plunge the world into an even greater darkness which is exactly what dragon is trying to fight
we dont know bb goals actually. we dont know who's will he has inherited. dragon sacrificed his family life and everything for his goal. i think bb pirates and revos would make a very good team. and i also think that bb went to that island to ally with them , not to steal their weapons. he knows how strong dragon is and he dont need an all out fight where he could possibly die for a base of the revos. i think he went there with the mindset to team with them and dragon liked it so they destroyed the base to delete all evidence and they started the plan. if there was no reason behind destroying the base it would make 0 sense that oda showed us these pannels. there is more behind than people think
it's heavily implied in road to laughtale 1 that BB inherited rocks' will
maybe im wrong , but i find it really interesting that luffys father could ally with his enemy 🙂 i think its possible and there is a bit of evidence for this
and also dont forget doflamingos speech, as he talked with tsuru. allys will cheat each other and things will happen that the world never thought of
Didn't zoro use armament haki during the fight against Mr 1?
I think that was more observation. He could cut things that he could "hear"
BUT, I just picked up some volumes today, and I think with Luffy teaching Bellamy to live for himself and not for the admiration of someone who doesn't care about him, he will come back at some point and save Luffy. I don't know when, where, or how, likely when ALL the Luffy allies finally gather in the end war, but I know Bellamy is going to do something for Luffy, potentially sacrificing himself because HE wanted to because he knew Luffy would probably do something similar for him.
Hi
I am not one to typically care for power scaling, but I want to say this. Seven (proper) Warlords, working together are would be able to beat a Yonko. And same kind of goes for a Fleet Admiral
Bb stated I think that he wants a world of chaos and Shit and he take after xebec
Just a random thought. What if the D. is just a smiling emoji?Would that make sense?
Roger and Luffy accepted their death with a smile. And the name of the final island is named "Laugh tale"
"The Pirate Kingdom" is the name of the "Ancient Kingdom" clover was about to say before he died.
This is the secret of the world, there was a pirate crew of 13 who run the world government including an enemy wano family and potentially "Davy Jones" who will need to be defeated by either the Strawhats or Blackbeard pirates to claim the thrown and become King of the world.
@gloomy canyon
um.. you're gonna have to type out a longer theory than that to be pinned
check out the pinned theories to get an idea of what we're looking for
Nah bc not all the d clan bring joy or smile
I think the one piece treasure might have something to do with time travel. And I think Toki’s ability might’ve been Oda’s way of foreshadowing time travel being a huge factor in the story. Toki traveling into the future could’ve caused a HUGE ripple , creating a the timeline that we see now. If this is true, the original timeline could’ve been pretty horrible. Roger probably would’ve given up died a failure & Luffy would’ve became a useless drunk. Hence the sketches Oda provided of the Strawhats in a “bad future”. That could’ve been his take on how the strawhats would’ve ended up if Toki never traveled into the future
Crocodile is luffys cousin
Thats not true bb never said this
Nah Bro i think im or croco
Well at the very least he def take a lot from xebec
What if the big mom pirates and beast pirates do form an alliance but it's not what you think.
BM and Kaido are out the picture, but Queenm, King and the others have nowhere to go, Peraspero's probaby still alive, and maybe BM's crew is recovering and trying to get back in again to fetch them, but the marines or green bull arrive and they need to go
And so what happens is, that Queen and Peraspero who were originally against an alliance, begrdudgingly team up, in exchange for getting them safely out of there, and fixing any ships/equipment.
Maybe queen even says he'll need to eat all their sweets to get back into being fat, cause that's how he prefers it, but King stays behind because he can't leave kaido.
Maybe we see Ulti and Page 1 without their masks and it turns out they're half fishmen
Which sketches?
Im not able to post pictures here unfortunately
King and queen are dead. And gb is prob gonna kill the rest of the pirates. The bm pirates don’t like the beast pirates and vice versa. And perospero might be dead
Well, it wasn't confirmed. They're drained
He literally sucked thier life away even if they aren’t dead they ain’t doing anything
They aren't dead. they are weakened and captured.
Yea I said even if they aren’t they aren’t gonna still be pirates?
I have a theory… the national treasure of marijoes (the giant straw hat) is actually joy boys hat and joy boy needed a big hat for his gear 5 giant form…what do you think?
We know so little about his power it is hard to speculate.
Gigante Gear 5 would fit the hat, but we don't know anything on the context and existence of a SECOND straw hat. Maybe we will get a flash back where the original giant Joy Boy, or the original Nika in Gigante form wore the hat, but then made a hat human sized for their friend/apprentice/the person to carry their will. Probably the origin of the will of D; people that hold the will of straw hat, or facilitate that will's growth, so there can be multiple D names active but many of their existences will only guide the truth path of the real Joy Boy.
Do you believe in crocodile being luffys mother
!rank
In chapter 907, Big Mom and Kaido argue about who gets to eliminate Luffy for interfering in their respective affairs. During their conversation, Big Mom mentions that Kaido owes her a life debt. Several theories soon developed to determine what kind of debt a Yonko like Kaido could owe to someone as powerful as Big Mom. One theory suggests that his inability to die is somehow linked to her power to control souls. Considering that they were part of the mysterious group Rocks over 40 years ago, it's possible that she could have inserted souls into him to save his life or make him stronger.
What do ya think????
What do you think will happen with sabo???
Hard no. It's a fun theory but too ridiculous to be real. Why would Luffy's mom try to kill Luffy, and almost succeed as far as Croc knew twice, because no amount of narratie explanation would make that good.
Crocodile didn’t recognise him after 17 years bro
But did in impel down that’s why he was so eager to help and also why ivankov teases him by saying croco boy cause he ain’t a boy ivankov change his gender from girl to boy bro
Ivankov also threatens to “tell luffy his (crocodiles) secret “ why would luffy want to know if it wasn’t anything to do with him
Tbh it’s prob just bm giving kaido his fruit or smth
It’s funny but there’s like no evidence for it and like Luffy almost died to croc like twice
fun speculation but not happening.
Funny how people still believe this. Regarding Oda it would definitely not be as simple as this
I genuinely thought it was a joke theory , no-one seriously wakes up in the morning thinking Oda will reveal Dragon had a child with Crocodile.......
He might have been a women but he’s not Luffys mom
Akainu hates pirates because in the past, he was an infamous pirate Captain that got betrayed by his crew and got greatly traumatized by it and from that day forth, joined the marines and swore to kill all pirates
Or his family and/or friends got killed by pirates
this is probably the most valid theory
im rewatching wano arc and currently at the part where yamato just met ace, that made me honestly think that yamato might not join the straw hats bcuz he knew the history during the blank period as well as the will of d and the onepiece
One piece is heaven/paradise and raftel is the heaven's gate
One Piece is a tool that’ll bring all the countries together
Of the Elder celestial dragons I believe one to be a mole or someone secretly plotting to help in the overthrow of the world goverment
Second, the Grandline is a result of a devil fruit, potentially in Im's hands so that they can keep the seas seperate and forever keep the Celestial Dragons as gods of the world
False, Oden ripped out the pages detailing the important stuff
No. Why would they attempt to overthrow themselves and send them into potential poverty? Makes no sense
Mihawk was the strongest swordsman before Kuina was even born
This might be true. My dad is Nami. He left one day and met Kiku and asked her ways then turned into woman
Ikr its just a joke
Rocks pirates killed all the rumbar pirates?

It's fine, just move on, read the rules please
Thinking about Im's name. Similar to I'm, short for I Am. I AM is how God announced himself in the bible.
kings not dying, queen maybe
Bro that was like 10 hours ago
idk even remember the context
Evidence is that crocodile after finding out Luffy is dragons son, saved ace and said "I'm not in a good mood"
Then later, he saves Luffy from Akainu, siding with the wb pirates when he hates wb.
He sided against the marines
There is no actual evidence for it, it's a crackpot theory that never made sense, it's just a bad meme
Crocodile knew Luffy was Dragon's son before they even reached Marineford, they talk about it on the ship and everyone is shocked about how Ace is Roger's son instead
has it been confirmed anywhere how Basil Hawkins powers actually works?
Voodoo Doll
we know thats something he can do, but has it been shown anywhere how he can actually create then? the witchcraft myth is that they would require taglocks or anything of the sort, but he just kind of shows up with a doll even if he hasnt had much interaction with the person affected
Maybe he can create the doll on his own?
Kozuki Sukiyaki (Oden's father) is dead. Kurozumi Higurashi is wanting to trick Nico Robin with his "Mane Mane" fruit. She can put on the appearance of Kozuki Sukiyaki and wants to know where Pluto is.
What do you think?
Higurashi is looong dead, Kaido killed her and bon clay has the DF now so this pretty much holds no value
It's true, but I have my doubts about it.
In the last chapter, Oden's father states that the Arabasta "Road Poneglyph" describes the existence of Pluto in Wano.
Bentham has been to Alabasta. He is the possessor of the "Mane Mane".
Bentham was willing to sacrifice for Luffy at Impel Down and was very beatdown. From what we seen of Higurashi no chance she would do. And even harder to survive get splattered from Kaido immediatly
It's true. I am wrong.
But I don't know why that appearance gives me the creeps.
Will luffy kill akainu?? I think he will definitely after aces death and now sabo even though it’s not proven he’s dead he probably is and it was akainus men who did it luffy will go berserk
He might Luffy ain’t a killer by heart but it’s possible
Luffy knocked people of bridge in impel down bro into boiling liquid or toxic liquid luffy is a murderer
Fight prediction stuff goes in #manga or #also-manga
The whole Kurozumi backstory is odd. Old woman informs Orochi of the family's past (which he didn't know about or know this woman?) And then they takeover. Feels like there was a story we missed out on
prolly gonna loop back later on, maybe greenbull got info on it?
lmao luffy literally kills like shanks and roger no one is a saint those punches from luffy break bones bruh not to mention zoro gonna be the king of hell
i wanna see a clash between BB and shanks like we got with roger vs white beard
So I’ve been thinking what if luffy used his power to boost the power of his friends like how he sees them like he looks at franky and imagines A huge unkillable robot then boom franky is a giant robot. Nami become a literal god of storms like the sun god power is limitless
I believe Greenbull will be used to separate the strawhats. Ideally this might be Luffy being captured, leading to some situation where a couple members like Zoro and Sanji go after him while the rest of the crew goes after the final road poneglyth. This would give a chance for the underdeveloped members of the crew to really shine in the next arc, and add stakes to the fights, knowing the all powerful members are no longer around to carry everyone else.
Maybe not? Straw Hat was split for a long time till Wano.
I don’t see it. No more split ups, no more time skips, if we get a marineford retread luffy won’t be alone.
Guys whats the best pluton wano location theory you seen so far?
It’s momo. It’s why he mustn’t die
I wish it had been vivi. Just for the sheer irony of crocodile almost unknowingly destroying the entire reason he was there.
Second theory, pluton is the sunny. The phonogliffs were like a funky prophecy thing, the alabasta phonogliff said it would be in wano, but it wasn’t at the time. It’s there now though. Franky had those blueprints for a loooong time after all
Certain point of view tomfoolery.
Or maybe Sunny is the Key to activate Pluton, like a missing part that was destroyed and need to be brought to Wano.
It's a ship
That’s what they want you to think.
Why would it be momo? like what's special about him
Well somethings special about him. It can’t just be that he’s shogun. He said so himself remember?
No i actually don't
Oh ok. Well he read odens journal and said “it seems I must not die”. Back when he was still a kid.
plus he has voice of all things and can order zunesha for some reason
Perhaps he said that so that he will aid luffy in the final battle?
I watched a theory about how the celestial dragons in the past could have been pirates/false kings, and that "if they're pirates, then how come they were kings?" even though some pirates become kings, emperors, rulers, and the maimn goal for almost any pirate is to be "pirate-king", and one of the reasons why the WG doesn't want their secrets revealed, is who would listen or trust an organisation that was originally founded by pirates?
my theory is vivi gonna get captured and straw hats will save her then boom she's gonna be official straw hats member now 🗿
That fruit is now with Bon Clay. Kaido killed higurashi
Blackbeard will destroy the red line. That’s why he’s a D. It’s apart of the Dawn
Theory: Blackbeard isn't actually a D. He seemed to know "too much" already as a kid and intentionally sought out Whitebeard to hide in his shadow. I think he also lies about his name and added the D because he knows the meaning behind it rather than having been born into the "clan."
But why would he add the D in the name? I mean, what's the purpose for it?
Why serve under WB and call himself Blackbeard? Why name his ship after Rocks D. Xebec and make his capitol the Beehive island? I believe all these choices are symbolic. ....I could of course be wrong, but either he is the black sheep of the D clan, or a pretender because his behaviour is in many ways the opposite of how the other Ds have acted. (Possibly apart from Xebec.)
He was using WB to go "unnoticed" and to get the darkness fruit.
The rest I feel like he could just be related to Rocks. His son that changed the name to not be chased after or maybe a nephew or something like that.
Its 4 a.m. and I suddenly had a thought 😅....one piece = one peace (?) Just like raftel actually = laughtale idk oda does like to play on words....this has probably been brought up before since there are already so many theories about the one piece being something that brings the world together and unites people, just thought I'd mention it
There is a theory about the ancient kindom being called one peace
The fact that he planned all this as a kid makes him either a 500IQ genius or he might be possessed by Xebec himself
blackbeard is also like 2 or 3 people too
crazy theory....... shanks is son of xebec and blackbeard has inherited xebecs will so they are secretly working together and in the final arc they vs strawhat army
Would be fun and all but part 2 of road to laugh tale deconfirms this theory
ye
theoris make my so hyped for one piece
Yeah the 4 a.m. breakthroughs. Classic. In the many meaning the one piece will have when revealed it is indeed likely that « one peace » will be one aspect of it.
I want to do a little update on my BMKK theory (read it I guess : #manga-theories message)
The theory is actually doing pretty well !
First, on Kaido.
Kaido has been defeated without closing out his character.
I want to address a very common argument at the moment, that Kaido wanted a "grand" death, therefore dying alone underground is a fitting end as it denies him what he wanted most of all.
While we can discuss whether or not such a death is fitting, I strongly disagree that this makes it okay to drop Kaido's character right here.
You have to understand that unlike the very attentive readers that we are in this community, the regular audience of One Piece is not expected to pay attention to every detail of the story, and is therefore not thinking about what kind of defeat would be fitting for Kaido when they're reading.
If Kaido is to meet his end in a way that counters his own idea of a good death, then that needs to be made clear to the reader. That has not happened so far.
It's almost certain, in my opinion, that we will get at least a scene that acknowledges Kaido's failure in getting the death he wanted. It can be as simple as a couple of flashback panels of Kaido talking about death as he sinks in lava.
That being said, I think that acknowledgement will be brought by Big Mom taking his soul.
I actually don't agree at all that dying in the lava is fitting for Kaido. This is exactly what he wanted. He lost to Joyboy (exactly as he thought he would!!), in a battle that he enjoyed to the fullest.
I think dying as a direct consequence of Luffy's attack is basically the best Kaido could have hoped for ; he even took the attack head-on in acknowledgement.
The only thing that makes this death slightly bad is that the moment of his clinical death happens with no audience. That's nothing.
Now on the other hand, if Kaido was to survive that hit only to be backstabbed by his former friend, now that would be a real unsatisfying death. Don't forget betrayal is another thing that Kaido has been rambling about. And it would actually make a difference that he's underground, as now there's nobody to witness the betrayal.
As for Big Mom. Big Mom is not dead.
Her defeat to Kid and Law was a ring-out. By the time they beat her, they had changed their objective from taking her head to making sure she doesn't disturb Luffy's fight.
She was a side character of the raid. Her defeat to Kid and Law, while very enjoyable, did not payoff to the very long-running plot thread of her personal grudge with Luffy.
And obviously she said she wouldn't die. She's coming back.
However, it's clear to me that Wano is where both Kaido and Big Mom fall.
Kaido and Big Mom have been the two looming threats of One Piece since we entered the New World, both making appearances and taking turns being relevant. Their two storylines meet at Wano. The Wano arc is the conclusion of the "Four Emperors Saga".
See the heavy theming around "the young replacing the old", throughout the raid especially. Wano is where we get rid of the old pirate world before we get to the endgame. That's also supported of course by both of them having been replaced among the Yonko already.
That is why I can't imagine Big Mom staying in the story until, for example, Elbaf.
If Big Mom is coming back (and she is), it's got to be in Wano.
So I think Big Mom has already taken Kaido's soul and is about to reappear with a Kaido homie. I'd think they interrupt whatever happens with Ryokugyu. It's not like we should expect just a straightforward fight against him anyway.
This will be the last stand of the old generation, a final vain attempt at regaining their status as they don't realize they've already lost.
Kaido being replaced by a "homie Kaido" allows for them to be defeated simultaneously as a duo, as they ought to, while at the same time not taking away from the unsatisfying nature of his death.
As for the nature of homie Kaido, we have a pretty good candidate in Pluton. After all, there's good reason to think Pluton is underground. Big Mom could have found it. Imagine that ! Doesn't have to be it though.
So my theory is on why buggy is the new yonko. I think when the shichibukai got abolished marines were sent to arrest warlords and the one sent to arrest buggy was drum roll Kizaru but kizaru got beat somehow and buggy fled that's why marines are putting emphasis on Buggy being another yonko. Because even though he has huge crew his biggest earners the giants left the crew and joined straw hat fleet and i don't think buggy crew is so strong now.
Wait that one piece might mean one peace is a great theory in my eyes- i mean joyboy||/luffy|| and poseidon||/shirahoshi||
Wasn't their plan to make peace? Like destroying the grand line? And maybe when at fishman island, the shark woman who was able to look in the future. Maybe she saw luffy destroying the island because the fishmen and all finally got to live in peace with the humans, and fishman island was no longer use??
I mean joyboy promised to help them or something. Idk so much anymore but maybe if I'm not wrong, maybe this could be it
Idk why i just had the thought, and its probably not right
But its just a theory and I wanted to share it rn😅
I mean, roger had not much use for finding the one piece. Maybe only shirahoshi and luffy are the ones who actually can do smt.? Maybe joyboy told informations, a favor or smt. For them. And ofc said something funny otherwise the roger pirates(include oden) wouldn't have laughed.
Maybe joyboy wants shirahoshi and luffy to create a WHOLE new era
Where the whole world can be together
Basically creating a whole new world indeed. Where everything is full of joy, everyone is nice. Maybe then even the all blue exists and sanji can finally fulfill his childhood dream, seeing the all blue where all kinds of fish are together at one place.
Maybe one piece is only able to get for Luffy and shirahoshi. They're the only ones who can get the one and final peace in the world.
It's likely that Luffy destroys fishman island because he must destroy the red line to create the united world, all blue. That will destroy both Mariejois and Fishman Island.
I think that's the reason for the Noah. It's used to transport all of fishman island to the surface so that they can live peacefully with the world.
Yess
You'd think they could just move the island though. The Noah is half the size of Fishman Island and it takes like 5 Sea Kings to pull it. Surely with the probably thousands of Sea Kings in the world pulling the island would not be a problem.
They could've put leashes on the island instead of building a whole ship couldn't they ? So I think there may be more to it than just "falling rubble from the Red Line destroys Fishman Island"
I don't think we should put that type of logic into one piece regarding size and stuff. There's already been enough information about noah being used. What's the point of Oda making the idea if he doesn't plan to use it?
Who says it's not used ? I'm just saying the reason why it will be used may not be that rubble from the Red Line destroys the island.
Ahh okay I misunderstood you, what use do you think it could have then?
In my eyes, this theory would completely unbalance the equilibrium of the weapons, as one of them would have a prevalent role on the others. In fact this would not simply be a weapon for luffy, but a friend/ally>more screentime over other weapons (as we should know pluton SHOULD be ship)
I agree with the idea that the Noah should probably serve to transport the residents of FMI to the surface.
I've got a theory that Pluton can deconstruct and reconstruct islands, so an idea would be that this is done to FMI at some point, and the residents use the Noah to move while the island itself is being "transported".
Now that I think about it this would also work by making the Sea Kings pull the island... so not quite that then xd
If fishmen can swim to the surface why would Noah be for fishmen? Since we know fishmen have a long history of being shipwrights, I think it makes way more sense Noah was built by fishmen for their allies
Makes sense but at the same time isn't it kinda heavily suggested that the purpose of the Noah is to allow the FMI residents to emigrate to the surface ?
I don’t think it’s even slightly suggested
This is what I was thinking of, they're talking about the dream of moving to the surface and it shows the Noah in the background. Maybe not heavily suggested but it's there
And here he does it again with the promise from Joyboy to FMI. So basically the Noah is somehow involved in both of those things
The name "Noah" obviously suggests the idea of "housing people while there's nowhere else"
I know your theory is along the lines of housing people of the world while there's mass flooding going on, but aside from the matter of size I think the Noah is portrayed more as a means of actively achieving a certain thing when the time is right, rather than reacting to something bad that's happening for exterior reasons
When the Red Line crumbles and opens up the sea into the All Blue, elimating the currents that make the Calm Belt and thus keep the Grandline separate, the fishmen will take Noah to the surface, since Fishman island is under the Red Line, and it'll be symbolic of them rising up to the same level as everyone else, becoming truly equal in the world the Straw Hat Pirates have made. Noah is the arc that will take them all away, since there are confirmed millions of people living in Fishman Island
This feels like directly saying Noah isn’t for fishmen. This is saying Noah is the FMI contribution to some big event, not made for them. It is their end of the bargain. Why would their end of the bargain be to save themselves? And the fact remains that fishmen don’t need Noah to reach the surface
This is my theory
Roger told Shanks "I don't have long left to live and it turns out I was 20 years too early" Shanks cried because it was too late for his captain.
Roger probably told Shanks that he's plan on having a kid one day who will find Laugh Tale, and be able to fullfill what was needed or make it there in time.
Shanks wanted to honor his captain by giving his kid the strawhat he possessed, and possibly along with finding out some V.C information, needed and had to get the Nika fruit.
Shank stayed at Luffy's island for a whole, year, presumably since marines come in and out lots of places, Shanks was likely waiting for the right time to strike and take that fruit. Coincidently, he made friends with Luffy.
Shanks got the fruit and he celebrated with his crew at the bar, he was planning to give the fruit and the hat to Roger's kid, wherever they may be...but that kid he made friends with ate that fruit.
It wasn't just shanks, THE ENTIRE CREW WAS PISSED AND SHOCKED! This was something they spent a lot of time waiting for. Shanks does worry for his safety, but no one laughed it off and said "HAHA, guess you're a devil fruit easter now Luffy. Oh well, we'll get a new one".
Shanks called him an idiot, cause they went through hell or a lot of time getting it.
He may have continued with the plan of finding Roger's kid, but then the kidnapping and event with Luffy transpired, but because shanks saw what kind of kid luffy was, he went "...alright. I'm putting my faith in you" and gave up his arm. He betted on Luffy being roger's successor instead. Not his original plan, but the one he's now chosen.
He gives him the strawhat, a crown if you will, putting his faith in luffy
Ah I didn't see it like that but it makes sense.
Still it doesn't have to be a "bargain", I think this could just as well be all for the sake of the fishmen with nothing asked in return... I think for a guy named Joyboy I prefer if he's just doing good in the world without any calculations or things like that ?
I agree that the "saving themselves" really doesn't sound right though. And it doesn't sound to me like "destroying the Red Line" was on the table in Joyboy's time. I think the promise was probably something like convincing the humans to welcome the fishfolk to the surface.
But I could imagine the Noah being used for the emigration still. Maybe it's really important that they all arrive at the same time. Or maybe it's to accommodate them for a time before they're able to find suitable land.
If the Noah was built to save humans from a flood, then what do we make of the fact that it can only be used when Poseidon is alive ? Is the flooding periodic ? Was it used 800 years ago to save humanity once already ?
I think bargain is not being used as cutting a deal so much as “our part of the plan”
I think fighting to retake the world means someone will flood the world in response, so Noah is needed to mitigate that
do we know around how many days from now we're getting new spoilers?
About the "one peace" thing, I saw this incredible theory made by Artur-Library of Ohara on yt talking about 'luffy's true dream'. As he mentions, there have been two times luffy's dialogue has been cut out in the story so far when announcing his dream. Back when he, sabo and ace were announcing their goals by the cliff and in the yamato and ace flashback. Similarly, Rogers's proclamation was also cut out in the flashback when he told oden and whitebeard about his dream. In both of these scenes, the sabo, ace, whiteboard, and oden all exclaim "huh!?" Followed by a laugh and calling it childish. Oda wouldnt include this for nothing when so many other times, Luffy has declared he wants to be king of the pirates. Looking deeper into that, what pirate king means to Luffy isnt what it means to most other pirates. He doesnt care abt wealth fame or power, he simply wants to be the most free man and go on a wack adventure with his buddies. Throughout these many adventures, Liffy constantly brings people together, he constantly brings them joy. Mihawk says it best in marineford: "This man has the scariest power utopia the seas, to attract people to his side"
Discrimination in the world of one piece is one of the series' most prevalent themes, and what does Luffy symbolize? Unison, joy, and friendship. But how does he do this? This is where Artur's theory comes in. After every arc of one piece, after the main antagonists are defeated it's almost become tradition for the straw hat crew to throw a banquet. This simple act of throwing a party free of worry, free of discrimination, and full of Luffy's infectious joy, has continuously healed broken kingdoms, and brought groups of people, along with all sorts of creatures together.
continued
Therefore, joyboy's wish was to unite the world as one peace. Roger and Luffy have the same dream. To unite the world.....with a party! Artur's theory is, in conclusion, that Luffy wants to "throw the biggest feast in the world!", and judging from sabo and ace's reactions of laughter and confusion, I think that really could be it. Oda has said himself that his favourite panel is the skypea feast panel where everyone is dancing around the campfire. So..yeah, I think this supports the whole "one peace unision" theory as well as adds even more insight into Luffy's simple-minded, but also surprisingly complex personality from the outside looking in.
Not the channel to ask. Get the role in #old-role-info . No one know exactly when spoilers will be out so you’re better off just waiting for the ping once you have the role
Y’all think BB will have conquerors haki?
That's a better question for one of the main manga channels, but probably
I think it has to, if he becomes a final boss thing for luffy think he should have a same power level such as the haki
#manga or #also-manga please
Do you guys think ussop will get conquerors haki in elbaf
No
Guys next chapter release date?
21 of July iirc
Buggy crew bounty needed
I think it’s very possible. This is def ussop arc from the build up he has and with it being bravery and stuff. But at the same time I still can see ussop not getting conquers
@potent canopy @umbral swallow this channel isn’t for brief thoughts, please make comments like the ones you did in manga. Also please don’t use this channel to ask when the chapter comes out @grand tide
I believe the last arc will be also be a hunt for the last ponoglyph. I believe what they will do is they'll assume the last road ponoglyph is at Elbaf, they'll go there and have a short arc, but Loki or the giants will say "there was never a road ponoglyph here, sorry. BUT we do have other ponoglyphs which may interest you"
Then they'll suspect BB has it and they'll go to his territory, but we later find out he's found the location of the last ponoglyph but doesn't have it yet. One of his men or one of the TTC's ends up spilling the beans.
AND it turns out it's located at Vira
A theory I have.
Shanks is the only Yonko not laughing when the 4 new emperors are revealed. This leads me to think that the will of D refers to the shape of the mouth when u smile/laugh, it’s like a downwards D. If u look at it, it actually makes sense. Luffy and BB are part of the will of D. Buggy will most likely be a part of the will of D too. There must be a reason why Buggy was on Roger’s ship.
The Thousand Sunny has a bunch of Orange Trees, the perfect place for Oda to spawn a devil fruit in the near future for a strawhat member to eat by accident.
Wouldn't that be something
Question is which one of the straw hats would be the one to eat it
We see how rare devil fruits are to acquire. The next arc would have to do some setup.
Since the Wano, its now Nami that has the highest chances for a devil fruit pending new information; Kuma's fruit specifically as has the option of dying soon. Its a useful fruit for a navigator, not directly combat related but also..... It improves her slap.
An "orange" paw devil fruit for our orange cat burglar. Sanji/Zoro are already doing their own powerups so we are left with Franky/Vivi/Usopp.
One Piece Theory explaining why Red Hair Shanks is connected to not only Elbaf, but the ancient weapon known as Uranus. Greek God uranus is known as the god of the sky, just like a bird that's perched on the tree of Yggdrasil. This one piece analysis and discussion even includes Pluton, Posiedon and the egg on Roger's ship. This is a deeper look...
Summary?
It’s a really good watch, but basically the vid is saying that the ancient weapon Uranus is on Elbaf, & Shanks is the guardian
@sand sail need ur take on this one
My bruddha
not to mention the title sucks so much
yeah I have a hard time convincing myself to support that kinda clickbait, but I'd read it in text/image form
This is so clickbait and I hate when this type of stuff finds it's way into my recommended
I hate videos like these and stuff like "THE REAL REASON why" and "IF THIS .... THEORY IS TRUE, I'LL CRY"
Instant turn off
PROOF THE WORLD GOVERNMENT IS ACTUALLY RUN BY FORMER PIRATES AND THE HIDDEN WANO CLANS!
(actual theory i have, no youtube video sorry 😄 )
share the theory
The World Government Is Run By Pirates, A Rival Wano Family and Originated From a "Davy" or "Olympic" fight
The 20 "families" that created the world government 800 years ago was actually the result of a "game" either Olympic inspired or the original "Davy Back" that resulted in Zunesha being punished, Joyboys suicide , a broken promise to unite the fishmen into the ancient kingdom of pirates and more.
(Evidence, the Davy Back arc was not filler but an analogy)
The "game" likely ended with a** boxing match **between the person we call "Joyboy" and "Davy Jones"; Jones legacy now lives on.
The WG formed after these events either by the Jones pirates or other pirates This is the secret the WG does not want anyone to learn; the Straw-hat was the jolly roger and crown of the first king of the pirates.
Above the ruling Celestial Dragons are a few key ex-Wano families that were rivals of the Kazuki family with a weapon of their own and likely a specific form of Haki; This family is responsible for Stussy years ago manipulating Higurashi Kozumi re-entering Wano and using Orochi to force Wano to open their borders which failed when Kaido became uncontrollable.
(Evidence if true, Stussy was the face revealed by Higurashi)
The 20 pirates or less included key Wano families that had left Wano back when every country was open. The top ruling "Celestial Dragons" are the top pirate families from Wano.
The pirates likely was lead by 1 notorious pirate or a group that took down the ancient kingdom then moved to redline and used the 100 years to discriminate and integrate everyone from the ancient kingdom and prevent the age of "exploration" out of fear and ensure their families will stay on top. The kingdom was likely blown up or forcefully split apart to prevent another event like it using Oars + Zunesha and others
The "ancient kingdom" is likely located deep under Tarai which requires the 4th poneglyth to indicate its depth.
Blackbeard ate a zoan devil fruit as a child, either the mythical fruit of the former "Davy Jones" or Hippo fruit thus the reason why he cannot sleep; the fruit modified his body.
As Doffi stated: it does not matter who rules, its going to be the same either way. [Doffi Laughter].
"Pirates" run the world and are the most free.
(Me personally, its pretty obvious which manga Oda used to emulate the "marines" whom have a similar origin story that no-one talks about in the lore; I cant state the manga here but it souds like a reach)
If true, then the final number for the Blackbeard Pirates, Strawhat Pirates and potentially the WG "pirates" will be 13.
Blackbeard = 3 + 10 Titans
Strawhats will be 13 pirates ( 2 new members )
(Japanese theoriest have already pin pointed the number 13 connection)
This theory as a whole leaves the option of Momo being a descendant of both factions;
(Toki Amatsuki was born outside Wano at an unknown amount of time before 800 years ago)
The plot is likely going back to the underworld at some point to expand on Stussy and learning of Franky's parents;
(Franky emulate gangsters, is long since unrecognisable since childhood and knew how to navigate the underworld early on, he did not learn this from Icebearg or Tom)
Pressing urgency to find the last poneglyth ending in World War One Piece and more
Lets see how wrong it is in a few weeks
@gloomy canyon May he be worthy of a pin?
So something that’s alway bothered me is little oars jr’s story at marineford, it just felt kinda weird to explore his story so briefly when he wasnt even a commander. And we dont even know his status. What if the SSG’s secret weapon involves him? Like a giant pacifista or something
Little Oars fate is unknown altough everyone left in peace after that day and Sengoku himself said would give them the corpses so that they could be buried. Not fully sure a basic giant pacifista by itself would be enough to replace the warlords too
This is one i cant answer with whole hearted proof. The idea I have floating around is that the ancient kingdom was broken up using various means, Zunesha (Zou) , Oars Senior (wano), Noah (Fishman Island) which will be explained at the end.
There is likely a large red dragon or snake with the sea behemots explained. The florian triangle is suspiciously close to Tarai Current.
I'm a believer the florian triangle thing were just Zunisha legs
Zunesha is on one side but the Florian Triangle another.
We need an explanation from Oda. It could be that the red line didnt exist 800 years ago?
can travel trough Twinscapes
I would lile it though if that was an actual being as always inspired. Just got low faith in that not being Zunisha or another giant elephant
Reverse Mountain kinda looks like an Elephant dont you think? Theories? lets go
Are you implying this could be Monet's fruit from Punk Hazard, or Kaido's/Big Moms from Wano? I'd love to see Nami get a logia. I've heard of this theory before but I feel like if Oda had one of the straw-hats eat a devil fruit it would be one they procured on an adventure
I have no concrete theories as to who would get a devil fruit, I would bet Kumas fruit eaten by Nami.
It literally could be anything; Oda has givem himself a fantastic place to spawn a fruit if the story needs it 😄
I am HOPING there is a Ryu Ryu no Mi: model Red Dragon and it is based on Smaug or a dragon from Norse Mythology, which would make Elbaf a nice introduction to it, but I doubt Oda would cheapen Kaido's amazing fruit by making a second similar one.
What I wanna know is if the Fish-Fish Fruit line exists, how many models are there?
just one because it's the only "fish" not in the sea.
Honestly, for introducing a concept like fruits and only having Luffy eat one in CHAPTER ONE, as well as Khalifa and Kaku, and some off screen fruits like Shilyu, we have never seen a Strawhat eat a fruit. I want a crew member to eat one so bad. That Mera Mera Franky tease was too much
This is just a speculative thought but maybe they're a particularly rare zoan because they're the ONLY DF that allows the user to have any survivability in the ocean. They may also have a resistance to the ill effects of the sea on them compared to other fruit users, and there's plenty of different Fish species that boast some notable attributes. We have:
Standard:
Great White Shark - Large, voracious predator. Extremely likely.
Hammerhead Shark - Also a notable predator with a wide view range
Swordfish - Fast, strong, and is famous for its needle-like nose protrusion
Sturgeon - Large, strong, and agressive river fish
Phiranna - need I explain this one?
Electric Eel - Electricity abilities coupled with slimy fish powers, fun
Moray Eel - Slimy fish powers combined with extremely high bite force
Ancient:
Megalodon - Giant freakin shark. No duh.
Coelacanth - technically not extinct but has remained unchanged for millions of years.
Leedsichthys - Largest known fish to ever exist
Dunkleostus - Giant fish with bony plates and a quick and hard bite. Durable and deadly
Mythical:
Namazu - Giant catfish deity that caused earthquakes by flopping around
Ikuji - Japanese Yokai that was extremely long and secreated a sticky oil to sink passerby boats
Abaia - Large magic Eel in Melanesian mythology that protected the creatures in the lake it lived in by summoning great storms whenever they were disturbed.
Hahau-whenua - a great fish spirit from Hawaiian mythology, said to be fished up by Maui and became a great island (New Zealand)
All of these wouldn't be models ofc, but this is mainly just a list of possibilities Oda could draw from if he wanted to expand the Fish-Fish Fruit Roster.
The nature of the sea and fruits clashes, I don’t think we will ever see another fish fruit because it was the only one that doesn’t require water. We’ve even see fishman with fruits who can’t swim, proving being a fish doesn’t reduce the weakness.
Will there be a chapter this week? Or next week?
Next week iirc
i just caught up. so we know that Luffys devil fruit is the sun god nika. this makes me think that BBs dark-dark fruit is actually some moon god
GUYS what if the sea beast that was tryna kill Luffy knew luffy had NIKA it was a very STRONG sea beast thats how shanks lost his ARM OMGG
if the treasure is called one piece the treasure is probably one piece of treasure and what i think this is is a poneglyph that tells them about the void century and it would be the biggest poneglyph of all
The Lord of the Coast is not that strong
It's slightly more aggressive than other seakings but not that strong. Luffy beat it very easily when left Foosha
Roger says he "left it all in there in one piece" or something like that. After finding out that Roger's crew was reading poneglyphs and taking the messages to Laugh Tale, my interpretation is that the treasure is the complete history of the Void century that has been gathered from bits and pieces in all the poneglyphs to be in "one piece" at Laugh Tale.
also what I think...
I don't think that way, because Roger also said that he reached laugh tale to soon, so in my opinion I think to "unlock" the treasure u need to have all the ancient weapons, in wano we have pluton, we also know that poseidon is Shirahoshi, and we don't know anything about uranus. But all ancient weapons have something to do with water so I think uranus is luffy awakened devil fruit. So that's why Roger was to soon, because the nika fruit hadn't awakened in 800 yrs
what do you guys think about blackbeard potentially having kraken kraken no mi
doubt it severely as Oda come reference legends and famous pirates separately so far.
No point in mixing Blackbeard and Davy Jones
Also severe lack of aquatic life DFs as the closest we got was Smiley
I actually find difficult any theory of him already having any DF prior to Yami Yami possible as he stayed on WB ship for long as a pirate and swim for non df users is something they would do .I doubt it would never had happened for him or none would have noticed especially if they had already noticed him never sleeping
For instance for example Shanks mentioned buggy swimming skills when they were kids prior to him eating his DF
Lastly the part where they say themself not even knew if the plan to get WB DF would succeed and only after start stealing DFs making it seems even more unlikely
That'd have 0 thing to do with the various connections oda made through his SBS
I think luffy will transcend to a higher dimensional purpose and blow up the one piece
Wait what will Luffy do once he gets the one piece?
be pirate king
same thing Roger did.
Go around and enjoy freedom
👍
Guys.
Do you think Noah is Pluto?
I don't know if you remember but Joy Boy had written on Fish-Man Island that he apologized for not keeping his promise. Perhaps because he failed to get Uranus, and Pluto and Poseidon are on Gyojin Island.
My theory is that Joy Boy couldn't finish his mission, and his last island was Raftel. And Uranus is on that island. The OnePiece.
Once Uranus is achieved in Raftel, they must go to Gyojin Island to fulfill Joy Boy's promise.
Pluton is in Wano.
Theory: Rocks is Shanks and Buggys father.. 38 years ago on Godvalley, After the utter defeat of Rocks and the celestial dragons fled. Roger found two babies, imprisoned on the island because their mother was a celestial and father a Wielder of D.
Rocks came to liberate His kids and get revenge on the Celestials. One child inherited their fathers dream and the other inherited the dream of their father figure. Hence why Buggy wants to be King of the World and Shanks wants to carry on Rogers Will.
Does Caesar's experiment with kidnapped children using sweets that cause addiction/addiction effects correlate with Big Mom's sweet addiction?
@vast echo I elaborated more to the theory. Just scroll down a bit when you read
Okay, so I read it and some comments and I agree definitely, it's either made of pure kairouseki or a material of an even higher grade, since Marines are already replicating that because of Vegapunk, it would be kind of underwhelming if it was only kairouseki.
Specially since the WG was so hell bent on getting the blueprints to Pluton.
What makes it so special?
I came up with an idea actually but I'll send it to you in private
Do you think Mihawk is the First Commander of the Buggy Pirates?
we’re given 0 reason to think this
i heard this theory and i wanna know what you guys think, zoro is only helping luffy so when luffy has a big enough bounty he can kill luffy and take his bounty, honestly i think there’s a lot of holes in it
What do you think of Nami will eat charlottes devil fruit.
OK think about it only if Big Mom really is dead soo
Since greenbull is on wano and bcs of his plant related devilfruit he surely will figure out the exact position of the devil fruits popping out like basil's df, orochis df, big mom df(unsure), Kaido df (perhaps not) etc.
So if you think about the marines and WG isn't it suspicious that they have a bunch of df's, so that they even do research like putting them into weapons and stuff?!
So back to greenbull, like I said before it should be very possible, since he is a plant type user, to figure out some kind of irregularities in his in environment. So he will take those df's from whoever died on wano.
Now we have Nami and you ask what does she has to do with Big Mom's df.
Man obviously bcs of Zeus, and the fact that he works with Big Moms df if she dies he should be dead to or else I do not understand her df. So Nami or how we also know her our lovely Cat Bulgar will easily steal the fruit or even fruits from Greenbull and she will for sure eat Big Moms df not only bcs she can resurrect Zeus with her own soul but also bcs of the facts there is nothing she can't affect with her soul after she gain Big Moms power.
So what do you think about it was someone reporting this theory before me than sorry for repeating
😅
If not then I'm the first hehe
Ah and a question is Jack alive??
Blackbeard's theory: It is not a "D.".
An unusual behavior is found that seems to be common in D., and that is that they are seen smiling when they are about to die; seeming to accept death without fear when they can no longer escape it. (Gol D. Roger, Jaguar D. Saul, Portgas D. Rouge, Portgas D. Ace, Trafalgar D. Water Law was smiling even though Doflamingo was able to kill him in their fight in Green Bit, Smoker saw Monkey D. Luffy smiling in the same way as Gol D. Roger when Buggy was about to kill him).
The only D. to show fear of death was Blackbeard, as he panicked when Whitebeard attacked him at Marineford. Due to his own strength, he managed to survive, but he is the first D. to have manifested such fear.
I have a theory that Blackbeard appropriated the D. or was simply adopted by a "D." family as a child. The only past we know of him is that Whitebeard's Pirates found him alone.
except mihawk is already a known threat, he was famous before the great pirate era. i don’t see any reason why shanks would need to talk to the gorosei about mihawk
It is heavily implied Mihawk is just someone Shanks has dueled with in the past (prolly before he became the strongest swordsman).
Besides, big doubt Shanks is going to worry that much about Hawkeye when he is highly capable. Mofos came with ships to ruin him when his introduction portrayed him cutting one clean in half and Marineford shows his slashes travel a great distance without losing efficience in power.
Shanks has definetely gone to the Gorosei to ruffle their feathers about Luffy. They clearly changed their mind rather quickly about him in Wano when he was actually threatening to win against Kaido (after Big Mom's L)
nah because of his loyalty and it would be dumb of him to do so because the navy would want to capture him aswell
is it me or Hawkins fruit seems super powerful and weird? he can store things inside his body, make weird vodoo magic dolls, it hasnt been confirmed if his card reading abilities are related to his fruit, but they are related to vodoo apparently, it just seems more like a vodoo vodoo fruit more than a straw straw fruit

@severe siren Please read this
Can Sanji be, in theory, be feared by the Marines?
Let's just say that he has the strength level around 70% of the world's strongest swordsman Zoro.
What other qualities can he offer to instill fear?
- No Poneg reading ala Robin
- No God DF ala Luffy
- No knowledge to build Ancient Weapon like Franky
- Not Ancient Weapon himself like Shirahoshi
- His wife can potentially read Poneg (not big enough threat)
- His status as potential Germa Kingdom future heir (dropped the name)
- Succesful experiment of human enhancement without drawback: no lost emotion.
So, the only possible, reasonable, and logical scenario he can be feared by the world is if he allows his body to he studied and let everyone in the whole world have the same or similar enhancements as him.
Like some Sanji fans believe, Exoskeleton is discount Mythical Zoan. If this can be amassed, it can be more dangerous than amassing Cyborgs via Kuma (because expensive: 1 PX = 1 Battleship) or Artificial Devil Fruit (because it still has DF weaknesses, whereas Exo didnt).
https://encrypted-tbn0.gstatic.com/images?q=tbn:ANd9GcRa4Lm1BZoUhtR3nwkYWUFXWQljb6k2xZCX8A&usqp=CAU
Sanji is literally Garp but kinda opposite. Both have no DFs or swords to speak of but one fights with fists and other with legs. One is feared by pirates, other by marines. Sanji's rise in power was well impressive
Except Sanji is an augmented human that can somehow set his leg and entire body on fire.
Oh, also, I actually have a theory that Vegapunk already knows how to do what Judge did and recreate human life and edit it as he wants.
Point in case: Pacifistas.
He realized he can not only clone humans, but that he can also pass down DF genetics like Kizaru's onto them. Also how he was able to replicate Kaido's fruit.
Hey cmon is Noone answering my theory ...
Most likely she wont
Most likely why? There are more reasons she will eat the df than she will not. I never read or heard of someone read in the manga that Nami will never eat a df.
At least she will steal it and perhaps Franky and or ussop are able to use them on weapons like the first paramecia weapon for Nami
You are assuming that Greenbull's DF allows him to know when new ones sprout.
Also, DFs seem to spawn at random points, so highly unlikely he came to Wano to harvest the fruits of people he doesn't know are there or are dead.
If Greenbull had the capabilities to do that, you think he would have the time to be going to Wano out of protocol instead of looking and hoarding DFs for the WG?
been thinking imu is hibernating in ice since void century and only appears once in a while since they're not immortal yet , and imu is the one who gave the order to kill luffy
and doflamingo mentioned he could've took over the holy treasure of mariejois if he became immortal .
The One Piece is Bink’s Sake
I have a theory of what Zoro's final wano bounty could be, am I allowed to post it here or does that fall under bounty scaling
I think Zoro and Sanji are going to have the same bounty
Anyone else think that Sanji needs to get with Pudding at the end of the series? I feel like him learning commitment would be a good way to develop his character
Zoro will have the highest bounty I think. Pretty sure Oda considers him first mate.
I respect your opinion but i highly.. i mean HIGHLLY doubt it was mihawk shanks was talking about. Its either luffy or blackbeard
say, if lets say killer (or just any smile user) has a sea prism nail(or just any kind of sea prism stone something) in him, would he stop laughing?
An unlikely theory mainly based on wishful thinking.
Oda does not give the devil fruit to the developed figure. the only exception is kaku and kalifa. sabo was only introduced when he started the fight for mero mero no mi.
Yes I am assuming gb can figure out where the df is as long it is in range I never he could find it worldwide and in first place Noone of wg was thinking of Laffy is winning imu is searching for luffy and gb has suddenly arrived man to suspicious so couldn't it be that luffy's df was the first target and since the situation is like now, gb is taking what he can.
Why do you think akainu told him not to overdo it
Man @grave current isn't every theory a wishful thinking and couldn't Nami take the df herself or in any kind not also be an exception of all the exceptions since no crewmate of the strawhats ever ate or gain a df on there journey all df users on ship already had a devilfruit before so why not the person who can't seriously fight on her own without backup and the person who never jumped into the water to save someone give her a funding devil fruit which also suits her the most so I believe something at least similar will happen
And don't forget what happend in udon a wasted land turned into a jungle full of trees, fruits and flowers you wanna say that happened bcs they closed the factories and nor bcs of gb...
Since a person has the might to produce plants and especially fruits you will tell me that he can't control any plant near him and like a df isn't a real fruit it still is a fruit perhaps he can't control it but figure out its position should be a easy task. And gb using his devilfruit with at least armament Haki will let him make his search simply easy.
Again, if he was a walking DF radar, WG and Navy would be making him scourge every island to hoard ones that haven't been taken yet.
I also don't believe Nami is inheriting Soru Soru. Its the point of the character that she's weaker than the rest but still willing to risk her life the same for Luffy. Gaining powers so busted would be against the point of her character.
Also, him telling GB not to overdo it has to do with WG and Navy fearing the samurai. It was laid out the dont wanna fuck with them and Green Bull is heading into both confronting a hoard of powerful individuals and alzó the samurai alone. If he pisses Wano residents, they're risking their relationship with them
the fall of the WG in the story will coincide with the fall of an actual colonial empire irl
Man it's just a week till the next chapter
Why are you talking about being a df radar man open your mind a bit to think about facts I talked about you only talked bullshit without any good reason only your opinion man if I had knew this earlier that I'm messing with narcistics ...
than finish your bb is three person in one and what else yallah until we find out
Feedback is a part of the nature of this channel. So long as people aren’t being rude or condescending, critiques are a part of helping theories improve
I'm not being a narcissist or rude, I'm just saying that being able to locate DFs is highly unlikely due to how overpowered it is.
Like, even if you wanna argue "for an admiral, it isn't", as I said, if he was a radar man for DFs, WG and the Navy would make him just go around stockpiling DFs for them instead of having him free to sneak into Wano without warranted permission from Akainu.
I also don't think Nami is going to have Soru Soru for the opinions above and because that would literally kill his newly acquired upgrade/pet slave Zeus. She's not a fighter or a combatant, and she certainly wouldn't have Big Mom's DF, mainly because we don't even know if she's dead yet and due to Zeus, I highly doubt she is killed off. Also because of the promise Luffy made to Katakuri of defeating Big Mom in the future.
You literally responded to your theory saying why people don't comment on it and when people give their feedback, you get mad and call them out because they don't agree with you. If you aren't capable of responding well to feedback, I don't think you should be in here.
Is it possible Green Bull has a fruit that can locate devil fruits, sure, but there is little lorevidence to support this; There is more evidence that Buggy will become a Yonko one day.
At present the likely theory is that of Green Bull being a former Wano resident, stationed there or from Wano itself.
Oda will have to explain later why there are no water or plant based Devil Fruits. There isnt much meat to hold onto for theories here
I still don't think Green Bull is from Wano, nor related to Zoro. Some GB theories are pretty out there.
I just think, him being a newbie into admiral position (given how he dangerously entered unwarranted into Wano to impress Akainu) that he's trying to go over his head.
He was lucky the Beast Pirates were beaten and recovering, methinks.
The green bull theories are absolutely nuts right now.... Son of Imu levels.

Why are you being so persistent of gb being a radar man I told you already and just give it a try isn't it possible for someone who can manipulate fruits and plants can't sense a devilfruit popping out bcs fact is a devilfruit will find his way to the nearest fruit after its user dies.
Like I said before it is high possible the wg was after luffy's fruit since they heard he is on wano and like who is who and the horses said they tried everything to keep the fruit in their hands now you telling me after all this years the wg will just say oh it has awaken so let him be, now we will surrender .... man pls luffy's df is the most wanted in one piece now you telling blackbeard has a way how to get his hands on a devilfruit but not the marines/wg/imu oh common there us no admiral with no df except for garp or is it also normal in your opinion that you have so many high ranking marines and almost al ate a df like a Marine doesn't need to swim bcs there never will be a storm on the sea so ships never sink man bullshit like I said to feed so many marines with devil fruits you need a way to gather them
Man man man df radar
Now what you're saying hinges with WG sending GB when he clearly ignored protocol and went there on his own. And yes, WG can't hide Luffy and Nika now that Morgan fucked them up. Still doubt Luffy's fruit is the most wanted cuz no one knows it's true nature, not even Luffy himself, I'm pretty sure.
As I said, accept people won't like your theories and move on while respecting their decision or go out of this channel for your own good.
Oda needs to explain the Nika thing. At present, either there is a secret in the government or the government are completely incompetent.
Luffy has had his D and the devil fruit known from the start of the series with his first bounty poster. The government is so scared of the Gomu Gomu No Mi that they kept the bounties on Luffy so low so no-one cared. In fact, CP9 could of captured Luffy but instead were told to capture Nico Robin.
Either
A: The government really are incompetent
B: Oda wrote Nika into the series later in the Arc being the Gomu
C: There is a hidden piece at the end
What are you talking about, his bounties grew really big with each incident passing.
I am of the opinion that the Nika fruit is not that important itself or Oda added it later in the series.
I just think they never bothered acting cuz they weren't scared of the fruit, but the awakening and they knew there were gonna end up killed one reason or another.
Whether he stumbles upon highly ranked marine officials who clap him or Yonkos.
And they almost had a right to think that was what's gonna happen considering Luffy almost died and lost to Kaido 3 times in Wano before actually coming through.
The ramifications of that is too high
World Government "Devil fruits like Nika are high priority but not too high priority unless they awaken"?
I'm going to stay on the idea that the Nika fruit itself is not that important.
I am also of the opinion they panicked and told them to kill Luffy cuz Shanks told them. I think the Gorosei is a rotating board of executives and they weren't filled in on the exact secrets of the fruit.
Ultimately its one Oda has to address because there are way to many holes to cover up when re-reading the manga knowing this fruit is "important"
The gorosei are clearly not immortal; that should of been confirmed by now but there are still "immortal gorosei" theories.
I think I debunked this before by saying it's highly unlikely they have been living for forever since that'd need them to locate and appropiate the Ope Ope 5 times, then have someone give their life to perform the Inmortality operation. 5 times.
I also think they've been shown what age each have and one of them is under 100 yo, while the oldest one being around Doctorine's age.
I was happy to ignore all immortal gorosei theories upon seeing Akainu interactions with them, he has zero respect towards them. This is enough for me. We've also seen humans that are over 100 years old, Kureha, shes a 140.
No devil fruits or funky business required.
Shakky also demonstrated that there's a funky way to make yourself look younger than you are.
Probably Haki too.
But I just think the Imu followers are groomed and rotating after a new generation of Five Elders dies and another is born. It has to if Im is inmortal.
I dunno, I think Nika has been hinted at various times. Mythical Zoans have more than one power, so it wouldn't surprise me if Paramecia-like abilities are a byproduct of Mythical Zoan bullshit.
There's also some loose evidence that Oda planned this way ahead, with Skypea's bonfire silhouette dance and with how Luffy unadvertedly frees people with his actions. Also the fact that clouds clear up and the sun comes about whenever he finishes business in any arcs.
I have no theories on the Gorosei heirachy.
My own personal theory regarding pirates running the world; part of which is that Stussy is directly responsible for Wano years ago; The face shown by Higurashi early on is her younger self. Stussy will be revealed to another individual that looks young.
Oda proving or disproving this would be nice.
...Huh?
Wait, I didn't really understood what you meant. Also, remind me who Stussy is.
this is her
Higurashi showing an unamed woman to Orochi.
Stussy, CP0 agent, currently posing as an Emporer of the Underworld. She is an intellegence officer.
https://i.kym-cdn.com/photos/images/original/001/380/170/7e7.jpg
So, what does Stussy have to do with Wano and pirates running the world and who is Higurashi and why is she that person's younger self?
Higurashi Kurozumi, the person claiming to be Orochi's ancestor. She claims she was outside of wano for a long time, came back with a plan for Orochi and gave him his devil fruit casually. Kaido killed her.
Wait, I think I got what you mean, even if I dunno why it's related to Wano.
I don't think those two are the same person, but I can't also disprove this, I just think it would be very weirdchamp if this comes true in any kind of context.
Been rereading Onepiece and i remembered luscasina (the island luffy trained during the timeskip) had an ancient civilization on it, so i figured mabye it could be the ancient city. Its hidden in a calm belt so no wonder people havent seen it in years, the structures both have greek/roman vibes and the city has 3 volcano like structures just like the island
Pics
So the Nika fruit is not important that's why shanks was after it that's why the wg was searching for for the last 800 years cmn like it or not guys but the Nika fruit is important no the most important threat to the wg
And man what does it matter gb was sent or went on his own it will be fact if he can catch a df he will get it at least to get some point by his senpai akainu and it will be fact that Nami will steel at least big moms fruit didn't you recognized Zeus is missing since 1051 last time I saw him on 1050 with Nami and Tama but if Zeus really is Nami pet now where is he ... he is puff puff away like big mom, I also think she didn't die directly but she died she isn't that kind of monster like kaido she has endured a lot from the magma still if there isn't an island on the magma how could it possible for her to survive for kaido its easy since he is a dragon I guess he can endure it very well at least he could have found his awakening but big mom is history
Translation?
You're tiring and annoying. I'm gonna start ignoring you.
They think Green Bull can locate Devil Fruits and that Nami will have the Soul Soul Fruit.
Since they didn't adress Zeus, they're now claiming Zeus is dead because he wasn't shown at all after the raid ended.
With Green Bull, they just gave up trying to stubbornly convince everyone else and went "You should be more open-minded." even though they asked for the feedback on their theory.
Oh no pls not it's not like you seem to know what you are talking about
Nothing you said based on something other than your opinion
I never told someone I am right with what I am saying, I'm saying what could be and anything you answer is your are totally wrong as if you invented one piece bro pls
You are talking facts down without any proof from your side tell why should big mom be alive? Any clue, does she have overwhelming haki so she can stand against magma all the time or what is it and why shouldn't gb can detect fruits since he can create them to tell no he can't just bcs you think he can't isn't whether an answer nor a critic it's just your opinion good for you to have one

By the way, anyone has any thoughts on this?
I am not sure about where Vegapunk is going with this tech other than creating an army of Kumas.
I currently headcanon that Vegapunk has the voice of all things or a machine that can emulate the voice of all things. This is what was used to determine that Momos fruit was a "failure" and he moved on.
There is ** a lot **of speculation here, probably because of a youtuber; around shadows having the ability to eat devil fruits, humans having multiple souls etc, etc, I do not subscribe to any of these. Relating back to Vegapunk figuring out how souls work.
(I do have a wacky theory that Vegapunk is Kizaru, based PURELY on 1 panel of Drake and Kizaru)
Eeeeh, I dunno, Vegapunk was clearly wrong about Momo's artificial Kaido fruit cuz it did work, I just think he kept it away from the WG cuz he lowkey knows they're all a bunch of shits.
I just think it would be cool if everyone who disbanded from Vegapunk is trying to emulate him badly. And since artificial cyborgs with Kuma's appearances seem unlikely, Judge's genetics experiments could point that Vegapunk realized this earlier than him and did the same with Kuma as a white sheet body to clone and edit.
Im rereading the post marineford arc right now and dang i forgot how many chapters there were XD. Can’t wait for next week
WORLD WAR ONE PIECE
LETS GO
World government army of Kumas
vs
Strawhats Army of seals!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (remember the Seals from Alabasta?)
Actually, that wouldn't be a bad move, to go fetch the Kung Fu Dugongs.
Just teach them Armament, powerful army of sea critters that can walk on land are a huge boon.
I truly think we about to see a world war that will put other shonen world wars to shame... Flying angels riding skate boards, literal navy seals, haki wielding samurais, giants, clowns, insane fruits all fighting the WG... its gonna be insane, 1 week to go boys... lets make more theories for oda to prove wrong! I love you all
The part of the "ancient kingdom" is under the Tarai Current between the 3 gates and people still live there! The giant things in thriller bark are Zuneshas cousins!
Theory on the origin of the "D.": Connection between the races of the Lunarian, Skypeians, Shandia and Bilkans.
From an ancient drawing in the city on the Moon we know that the ancestors of the three sky peoples -Skypieans, Shandia, and Bilkans had lived on the Moon together long ago, but for some reason they moved to live on Earth and separated. Their remote history above all leaves mystery. We do know, however, that some time in the past the Skypieans settled in the region they now call Skypiea. The Shandia came to the present-day island of Jaya.
The Lunarian tribe is a race that lived on Red Line that was capable of producing fire. This race is almost extinct, King being its only known member. According to Whitebeard, there used to be a Kingdom of the Gods on the red continent long before Mary Geoise was there.
However, under as yet unknown circumstances, the Lunarians have become almost completely extinct, and only a single survivor of the tribe is known to exist.
Why were these races related to each other?
Lunarians are human-like people characterized by the following distinguishing features: large wings with black feathers on the back, silver-toned hair and a dark complexion.
Wings > All four races share wings although each has a different composition.
Brown complexion > Shandians like Wyper share similarity of brown complexion and appearance with King. (Even Urouge may also have an origin with Shandians although he has much larger wings).
The next doubt would be the origin of the silver hair but an unknown with the race of the BIlkans: We only know that the island shares name with the ancient civilization settled on the Moon and was the birthplace of Enel and his followers. There is an ancient city on the Moon called Birka, where technology and architecture were very advanced. Birka is the city of origin where Enel was born.
From the paintings on the walls, some of the city's history is revealed: it was home to the ancestors of Skypieans, Shandorians and Birkans, but one day they left Birka and headed to the main planet due to lack of resources in their homeland.
Will the Bilkans be related in origin to the existence of the Celestial Nobles and later had conflicts with the Lunarians, Shadians and the Skypeians?
Enel has many similarities with a Celestial Noble, for example: the yellow hair color, many young Nobles contain that hair color. Another aspect would be: The belief of feeling superior to others, Enel like the average Celestial Noble believe they are "Gods" and superior to others.
And also this relates to a sentence of Donquixote Rosinante: According to Rosinante, the D. are considered the natural enemy of the Celestial Dragons, since they are considered "gods". Just as Luffy was the "only one" who could defeat a god like Enel because of his fruit.
Would the Bilkans have had power conflicts with the other three races? Why would the Skypeians decide to go to the sky? Why did the Lunarians become extinct?
The D. became nomads and formed different families with humans, giants, etc. to escape the Bilkans who later became Celestial Dragons?
Some of them ventured to the new world, there's a filler episode where they team up with law and luffy and they can now use haki
When they say D is natural enemy of the gods. Maybe the “Gods” they are referring to are the extinct races who was once called gods? Just like Lunarians. It sounds like Celestial Dragons became nobles thanks to the Will of D who made the “Gods”extinct. Celestial Dragons obviously took over the position of Gods when the extinct races lost their position.
I just realised this. If the Dugongs can use haki. means all animals can use haki too. then that means that monkey in Shanks crew definitely has haki right?
Can be.
But do you think that the behaviors of Enel and the Heavenly Dragons are not similar? They proclaim themselves "Gods" and believe they are superior. Interestingly, in the Skypeia Saga, Nami states that because of Luffy's fruit, he was the only one who could defeat Enel.
The animals from the island where luffy trained and the monkey's from Mihawk's island probably can use haki. Especially the monkey's, Mihawk said that they imitate techniques from humans and the leader is using the same sword as Mihawk. They can probably use haki to some extent.
It's as if Oda gave us a hint of at least the origin of the Celestial Dragons in the Skypeia Saga.
And the Lunarians sort of hint at the origin of the "D."
Ohara, Alabasta, Fishman Island and Wano has a lot in common. Remnants of old civilization that are being persecuted by the government. Maybe the last piece will be put on place if we ever get an Elbaf arc, giants had been teased for so long and they lived for a long time. If someone knew about the void century in detail the Giants are the only ones who lived through it.
I wouldn't be surprised if Zunesha is a fauna from the land of the giants. Same with laboon and the sea kings
I have a theory that Zunesha was actually a human "D." who was turned into an elephant to be "silenced".
Like the Sea Monsters, for some reason they have been humans or some other species that were then turned into monsters to be "silenced" for eternity. They can only connect with the "chosen ones" like Luffy or Momonosuke.
And they wait for Joy Boy to end their suffering of being silenced for eternity. The same with the Gyojins, whose dream is to live on Earth and stop being isolated.
This is where my Celestial Dragon theory came up. We know that Celestial Dragons are using the world Government as pets for their personal use. I have this feeling that the D. are actually heroes who helped Celestials take over against the “Gods” who was not from earth. And the ancient civilisation are where those extinct “gods” reside during the void century
also this is my Sabo theory. Oda already hinted that something Sad will happen to Sabo and ViVi.
We know that Sabo and Vivi are part of the nobles of a kingdom. Sabo became part of revolutionary and Vivi joined Baroque works and also joined Straw Hats for a bit who became a yonko and also being hunted by government for several reasons.
Celestial Dragons know this and took both of them to get rid of the “weeds” that are corrupting the nobles line. Just like what they did the Donquixote family.
This will set a connection with Straw hats crew and Revolutionary to try and save both of them.
It will also be interesting where Garp will be siding on this one since both his Son and Grandson are fighting against something Garp is supposed to protect even though Garp hates Celestials
800 years ago, during the Void Century, the Sea Kings made a promise to tow the ship Noah thanks to the mermaid known as Poseidon and her abilities. However, Joy Boy, who made the deal with Gyojin Island and Poseidon, failed to keep his end of the bargain and Noah was never used leaving his mission unknown. (This according to the Saga of Gyojin Island).
There is no doubt that for me Noah is Pluto, and probably the One Piece is Uranus. The last missing piece to fulfill Joy Boy's promise to the Gyojins and the Sea Monsters.
The Gyojins wish to live on Earth and not be excluded, and the Sea Monsters wish to be free from the silence they were subjected to for 800 years.
But for the Gyojins' dream to be fulfilled, they must destroy the Red Line with the Ancenstral Weapons (more specifically Uranus), and with Noah (Pluto) and the help of Shirahoshi (Poseidon) be able to save the Gyojins from the destruction of the Island.
And with the destruction of the Red Line, Sanji's dream of knowing the All Blue, all the seas united in one, will be fulfilled.
Oda has stated in an SBS when asked about the meaning of D "Ive changed the idea several times and it can be this and that its best to just read it as a D for now" hint hint
Filler isn't canon, we don't talk about those.
So, I saw a theory that Shanks and Buggy were war orphans from the God Valley incident, which is why Roger, when holding Momo on his arms, said something akin to "This is the second time I've held a baby in my arms!".
Went back and see it, his exact quote was "I haven't spent time with a baby in ages!" with Rayleigh saying "Reminds me of the old days.".
Ace hasn't been born yet, and Shanks and Buggy seem like the youngest in the crew, with no real familial ties to any other character shown in the story so far, which leads me to believe both of them (or at least Shanks) were Celestial Dragons kids whose parents were killed in the God Valley incident (since the Navy was sent there because of Celestial Dragons and their slaves being taken hostage by Rocks, iirc).
So yeah, I think Shanks was a Celestial Dragon's baby son and Buggy was either one too or the son of one of the slaves there.
I checked Shank's age and it scarily fits. Shanks is roughly 39 yo as of post-time skip and the battle of God Valley, according to Roger's life as explained in Road to Laugh Tale Vol. 1 said that God Valley happened 39 years ago from current time.
12 years later, he took Oden from WhiteBeard. Shanks and Buggy would be 12 by then, which kinda fits their physical appearance.
Buggy seems to be the same age, this fits stupidly well for a theory.
I think buggy would have abused his heritage if he knows he's a Celestial Dragon
so I think it's either Buggy doesn't know (maybe only shanks knows ?) or Buggy is not celestial dragon (shanks might be)
(assuming the theory is true)
buggy son of rocks maybe? and shanks a cd
this channel is for serious theories
That's the thing, following this theory, both of them were raised in the Oro Jackson by Roger and crew, so they wouldn't know.
Shanks might've either had been told or figure this out and honestly, I doubt Buggy would try and pull the Celestial Dragon card seeing how he has no way of demonstrating this.
I kind of assumed shanks would know (and is able to prove it in some way)because he is able to meet gorosei (unless there's some other explanation for this..? I haven't re read it in forever).
I feel buggy not knowing is more likely tho than Buggy knowing, unable to prove it and move on.
Maybe Shanks is like Doffy and he has some dirt on the WG. After all, Rayleigh has shown that he wouldn't have any issue telling anyone what they saw on Laugh Tale if prompted.
Rayleigh could've just told him after he stood back to take care of Buggy as he got sick before going there.
Ok, yeah, then idk, I feel like Gorosei respecting Shanks is one of the more convincing points for me with him being celestial dragon. If that can be explained away with other stuff, I don't have opinions on this.
would be crazy if one of the gorosei is his grandfather
I don't think that's it
I think he is an underworld leader and supplies the WG various things
What would happen if you try to destroy a devil fruit?
since the world government didnt destroy luffys fruit probably something bad/impossible?
The Shanks being a Celestial Dragon theory is interesting, considering it has been up in the air since 907. The timeline makes sense too, that said, I think Sengoku and Gorosei saying "Only because its you" isnt really connected to his origin. They just know Shanks is a chill guy all around, and wont swing around his sword recklessly.
Nah there’s no way, he doesn’t have a stupid name and stupid haircut

I saw a theory that uranus might be a fruit from the tree of elbaf that makes people into giants, so maybe thats why big mom and everyone else are trying to create giants of their own
Shanks is about balance his aim is to prevent war the WG especially sengoku can trust him
Shanks and luffy will team up to kill Blackbeard
Shanks isn't really much for balance, he just doesn't want chaos
he's never prevented anything
Kaido coming to MF?
I think the fact Shanks has dirt on them is what made Sengoku and the Gorosei give him exceptional treatment even though he's a dangerous pirate. It is still explained with blackmail/dirt.
I mean, they know who the remnants of Roger's crew are and they don't outright hunt them. And I think it is because of the same motive. They would lose face if they revealed what they know.
The war ended before it collapsed the marines. If kaido showed up then chances are BM would too. It would become way worse. Not to mention the power imbalance that would ensue, as Yonko could now start encroaching into formally controlled Marine territory.
Shanks couldn't prevent it all but he prevented what he could from getting worse.
Big Mom wasn't part of the equation in any way at all, travel time is a thing. She wasn't on her way there or anything, and it would've taken days to arrive. The war was never going to collapse the marines, they won it.
It would've become worse with Kaido around, but it already destroyed the balance of the world just by happening. The power imbalance was so bad the marines couldn't even handle the fallout of the war. Shanks didn't prevent anything except Kaido getting in the middle of it, which sure made it not as bad as that, but he made no real move to prevent it in the first place. He just lets it happen.
Yeah, either they didnt know Shanks and Buggy weren't able to go to Laughtale and just assumed he also knew about the truth of history, or Rayleigh shared everything with him when he came to Sabaody.
Shanks doesnt look like that guy who is still seeking for answers, he's more of like "I already know all of your secrets"
I think Shanks asked Rayleigh about what happened while Buggy decided not to, but the WG treats both as if they knew. It would also explain why the WG comedically think Buggy is waaaaaaaaaaay more threatening than he really is.
Without proper context, they know he was on Roger's ship and is like a sworn brother of Shanks. They also didn't knew he had a DF which allowed him to escape his cell and help Luffy kickstart the escape.
In their eyes, Buggy is equally as terrifying.
The marines won the war but they probably would not be able to handle 2 Yonko at once without taking insane damage. BM isn't part of the equation but she wouldn't wait until she has to join. If all the other yonko are running amok she is going to get a piece of the pie either in MF if the war lasted long enough or in some other territory. While shanks couldn't stop the war from the very beginning the fact that he showed up to mediate the ending and stopped an all out hellscape from ensuing, definitely shows he has something against war as a whole
The war was 3 hours long, Big Mom wasn't part of any of this exchange at all except the fallout after. If Shanks wanted to prevent things, he'd have helped Whitebeard out. He doesn't want all out war obviously, but to imply he's attempting to keep the world in balance would suggest a role that he just hasn't been seen fulfilling in the series.
They wouldn't be able to handle two Emperors at once at all, sure. And Shanks did what he could to end the war, but it was already an all out hellscape when he arrived. Many casualties, and the Whitebeard pirates just trying to escape instead of even fight anymore. It wasn't as bad as if Kaido had shown up, but that's about the only way it could've been any worse at all.
Good points, Buggy just prefers to look for Captain John's treasure rather than knowing what One Piece is. He lucked his way above the hierarchy, and is currently benefitting from the clout his past connections had.
That said, I still think the Shanks and Buggy being a part of Roger Pirates' bit was not thought of since the beginning. But if im wrong, then one thing I could say is that there' one sweet thing about him: Never, in his entire Post-Roger Pirates time, did he brag about being a member of the crew. I dont think he also used Roger's name in any situation (unless it all occurs offscreen).
Actually, early on, a flashback was shown portraying why he ate the Bara Bara, so them both being part of Roger's crew was definetely planned.
Though you're right about him never bragging bout being in Roger's crew nor talking about Roger's name specifically, though that I think is cuz of fear of association, as shown by how he reacted when the WG said it.
Hey guys did you know we here on reality having something similar to the calm belt in one piece it's called point Nemo and like it's name it is not a belt but a point, however there no ocean currents floating into this area no living creature except for bacteria and microbes man and that's the point they recorded mysterious sounds from this area
what is this do we have sea kings somewhere on earth to be exactly this place is also called the middle of nowhere! Hahahahaahahaha I didn't know we had something common in one piece on earth wanted to share this info with you all what do you think did oda knew about it ?
In the early flashback, it looked like Shanks and Buggy belong to a normal pirate crew. Because yes, Buggy's story on how he accidentally ate Bara-Nara no mi was shown, but one thing that makes me believe it was not legitimately planned from the start is the part of before it happened.
Buggy pretended to eat a DF infront of the crew that is supposedly members of Roger Pirates. When Buggy said he felt nothing as he ate the fake fruit, you know what did one of the members say? "The Devil Fruit was just a myth anyways". That statement alone makes it impossible to think for me that a part of Roger's crew had no idea about Devil Fruits. Which is why to this day I still think Buggy and Shanks being their apprentice was one of Oda's shower thoughts, thought it was cool if he did that, and decided to add it to the lore later in the pre-timeskip.
Him being scared to associate himself with the crew would make a lot of sense too tho
Wasn't Rayleigh also shown in that flashback?
This isn't the channel for that really
But interesting tidbit
The initial design, atleast. Rayleigh is blonde but the one in the early eps had black hair.
Scopper Gaban as well, yes
I simply don't think he has the ability to do anything besides what he did, even if he did help out whitebeard in retrieving ace it would be aiding a criminal and harming his possible alliance with WB.
He did what he could but wasn't enough.
There's no alliance with the government at all, though. That's not a concern that Shanks would ever have, he openly admits he doesn't mind getting into a fight with them if they get in his way.
He most definitely could've done a lot more. Like going to Ace directly, or going after Blackbeard himself, or arriving earlier to help Whitebeard, or even going after Blackbeard after the war to stop him from usurping Whitebeard's spot entirely
Going after BB might be the best option. Also, I think he wants to do more with the WG even if it's not a formal alliance he definitely has a reason for helping them so much. After the war is a little more dangerous to shanks crew because BB was too dangerous.
Blackbeard had a small crew and no territory, it would've been the best possible time to go after him besides before the war ever happened
Shanks has legions under him, there wouldn't have been any real competition at all. With the World Government, Shanks has never actually helped them
Small crew or not BB is a major threat and could still take a few key members out. I really wonder why didn't he help WB? They were clearly friends yet he didn't interfere at all as the whole ordeal is going on.
Maybe to save face or to not make it look as though he is under him
the whole of BB crew fled when seen akainu during that scene with captured Bonney.
Doubt Shanks crew would be that much behind
Well that's the thing, they weren't friends, they were enemies. Shanks hadn't seen Whitebeard since before Roger died, and the Emperors are all by default at odds with each other. Or, were back then, so there wasn't actually any incentive for him to help except to hopefully avoid Blackbeard creating chaos
Akainu is kind of his kryptonite
Nah, Blackbeard potentially could've wiped the floor with Akainu there. But it's a toss up and he only just got his crew, no point losing them so quickly even if he could win
Shanks was clearly more respected aquaitance. WB could probably been more friendly with BM or Kaido from what we know
He wasn't, they were all enemies. Shanks even states Whitebeard was an enemy lol
They were familiar, they weren't friends
Well BB will come for him too soon so he'll be forced to get involved
After Magellan no diffed his crew, in a zone that was extremely hot, and against a man that stood longer in a fight against WB. BB was definitely at a possible loss. Akainu realistically could take that crew on if only a few were haki users.
Well, the problem with that interaction is Blackbeard had no idea who Magellan was or what he could do, he just walks face first into a wave of poison with the crew. He actually knows what Akainu can do
But that's more of a topic for #manga or #also-manga anyway
I think we'll meet Magellan again soonish
He was relevant enough and could fit
His relationship with Hannyabal also mimic similar to Spandam/Spandine
Magellan is the most underrated character besides wiper in the whole series
Thx the point why I was asking if oda could knew about it is bcs of a theory I once heard about the all blue and sanjis wish will be fulfilled by luffy after destroying redline and Fishman Island. So what if and that ladies and gentleman is just wishful thinking, what if after the redline is destroyed, obviously the whole world will change in teem of geography perhaps the island are going to collide and form continents and the calm belt will be like point Nemo a calm point
Hhaahahahahaha
And what happened to jack is he dead?
#manga or #also-manga please
if jack isn’t dead, i see him joining the kid pirates more than say king or the tobi roppo. reason why is because whenever he goes to zou we see him just be a menace; poison, torture, etc. what do we know about kid? that he’s a “real” pirate and will tear apart villages no hesitations.
Crew recruitment discussion is more of a fit for #manga or #also-manga
Is it allowed to make wild theories which are related to the manga but they are wild and chaotic you know what I mean like can you handle my thought can I give it a try or should I let it be?
You can post something you genuinely believe to be true and you use evidence
And what and that's why said wild and chaotic you do not have really some kind of evidence more like hints given by the manga and I formed them like I thought it could be happen

What if we haven't haven't seen or heard of a logia awakening yet, because Black Beard's awakening will be crazy?
Like, Zoans can grant a new transformation, paramecias effect the environment, but what if logias are stronger in their natural environment
we seen lasting effects on punk hazard most likely provoked by awakening
Also zoan awakening is just extra recovery as we see with Impel Down guards. Luffy is a special awakening
Punk Hazard wasn't because of awakening, it was just a natural effect of so much of their elements around
I guess another possibility I think of would be something like Enel transformation
This might sound weird, but do you think that's why they could fight for 10 days? Not just their pure power and they surely had to sleep, but maybe the environment's permanent change was able to fuel them.
Like, being by or touching their natural environment allowed them to keep fighting and potentially made them stronger like fuel?
That's an interesting theory, I can see that being the case. Crocodile was at his most dangerous over in the desert, if I recall
Yeah. So perhaps an "awakening" for a logia is moreso being in their natural environment to provide a power boost.
BB could set a trap where his darkness powers are most strongest in the dark. And Luffy being the "sun god" is a perfect match
I don't think darkness as an environmental trap would work on luffy with his awakening cause luffy's power in gear gets stronger as more he laughes that means even if it causes at least fear in him and confuses him about his whereabouts after he is trapped that doesn't mean it decreases his power instead if bb awaking in a dark environment causes that df don't work if you are trapped that would be overpowered like luffy has to fight only with his Haki on the other side if luffy can get out of the trap and block somehow the awakening of bb like floating the area with light or something like this luffy would beat him seriously up for sure bcs luffy's power depend not on any environment like in this case a logia awakening
When I mean trap, I mean more so, Black Beard uses his power at night or a very dark area.
Plus, while Luffy does get stronger the more he laughs, black beard's fruit can nullify devil fruit powers upon touch, and who knows, maybe being sucked into or being inveloped in darkness can also suck the power.
And while haki is really great for fighting devil fruit users like logias, the armament is more so to bypass involnerability and some paramecia effected bodies, not necessarily the actual power itself. If that makes sense.
Like, using haki won't drain/weaken enel's lightning bolts, it just means you can punch enel without rubber.
So Luffy fighting BB would be a tough fight, because BB may not be as strong as luffy, but that DF nullification and draining might cause Luffy to struggle
Of course haki would help, even without gear 5th, or even stretching
What I also find interesting about a logia awakening is how is it with logia types like swamp do you have to be in a swamp area or could you create your own swamp so get your power boost from yourself and fire which needs something to be burned like a piece of wood or petrol gas something flammable
like crocodile who was in the dessert couldn't he create a giant self build out of sand like pika did with stone
And is this the reason why he lost to luffy bcs he didn't awakened his df on arabasta?
I think the one piece is friendship since In one of the intros it says “together we are one piece” and I don’t think it’s an coincidence
You know when luffy vs bb will happen, when the moon covers the sun (eclipse I think it is called)that would be the optimal time for bb to awaken his df
thatd be cool but id be disappointed lol

Theorie of imu the D. Clan and devilfruits
How we all know the D. Clan is the biggest threat to the wg. I think the time before the void centuries the D.'s were born with special abilities like paramecia and logia abilities and some or all of the D's had a affinity with animals so they tamed them or copied their abilities like zoan. The D's where the original people on earth and defended their territory with all they could but there came imu Sama who perhaps lived on the moon before and now they wanna move to earth, why dunno this is something I have to figure out
( like something happened to the moon people like some other aliens wanted to invade the moon and they flew to earth or the lunarian and the others on the moon just wanted earth for them selves I dunno)
but what I know is imu Sama must have a deep connection with the devilfruits bcs of the fact that all admirals are df users off course not garp and the fact why garp refuses to work as an admiral isn't just bcs of being in rank and command directly under celestial dragons and the gorosei it is also bcs being controlled by imu Sama in some kind of way. Think about sengoku who ate his fruit after godvalley and became then the fleet admiral but garp not bcs he doesn't ate a df
... part 2 follows
So back to imu Sama and his ability
Like we saw sugar and her ability to change a person into a toy and erased all memories about you what if imu has the ability to take your ability and plant it into a fruit like she did with the d who she called devils and tricked them to give up their abilities for a peaceful living together so Noone has any abilities anymore and after she tricked them and started to form a world on her own
The d realized their tragedy and tried to write down the truth about the world so they will never forget bcs what imu didn't know was the d's bloodline is very strong which allows them to kinda reincarnate after hundreds of years so luffy is the reincarnated version of the former sun god Nika and got reunited with his original bloodline ability the hito hito no mi
What imu also didn't know at the time when she took away the abilities of d's that she can feed the fruit to a random person of her choice and if he steps out of the line she can kinda kill this person but of a descendant of a d eats a fruit she has no might over them bcs it is like original power came back to its original owner. So she cursed the fruits she had and gave them all the ability to not swim anymore in seawater. So she made it at least harder for the d's to travel.
So if a descend of the D Clan eats a fruit imu Sama can do nothing. That is what monkey D. Dragon perhaps also found and left the marines bcs he was a d with a df who can fight imu in some kind of way. Shanks doesn't have a df or even his cremate all does not have a devil fruit the reason why is Roger told him so after he read the truth. 💩
I think Uranus is the Strawhat.Uranus is also called a great awakener.Maybe tht is the reason for the strawhat to be passed down from one generation to another so that one day it can awaken Joyboy. And that's why the gorosei are after Goku Goku no mi for 800 years. They already have the giant strawhat so when they get tht fruit they can revive joyboy.
And tht is why luffy's awakening starts with his head.
What if shanks is the last enemy of luffy. Bcs when shanks met wb, then wb asked the ENEMY he gave his left arm, the Enemy guys perhaps wasn't a misunderstanding instead it was a statement?!
Man now with bounties we could speculate about nubmer 7 and 8 since BB is 9th so it could be Rayleigh or Buggy and Mihawk or Benn Beckman. And we can clearly see that Law,Kid and luffy shares the 6th place for bounty. Now we can assume that buggy and mohawk could have a same bounty as Shanks since one is his rival and the other was his crewmate on PK ship and now is yonko too. About Rocks and Dragon, one of them could share Rogers bounty and the other could share WBs bounty . Hmmmm what do you guys think ? I think its pretty logical but its OP so logic sometimes doesnt work xDD he he.
I think shanks arc comes after laugh tale cuz luffys main goal is to return the straw hat after becoming a great pirate.... So he returns it after becoming pirate king
I have a theory for the end of one piece which has been circulated throughout the internet quite some times. Remember madam sharley... and how she had a vision of a man in a straw hat who will be responsible for the destruction of Merman Island. I think that vision will become true towards the end of the series but not directly. I think an immense final war will happen in mariejois between imu sama luffy and maybe blackbeard might be involved and other key figures and in the process of this marie jois will be destroyed and the red line will to in turn destroying fishman island. Noah will bring the fishmen to the surface thus fulfilling its mission, making a new “Fishman Island”, this time on the surface. As the red line is destroyed and luffy being the victor of this final battle all 4 seas will combine creating sanji's dream the all blue and uniting the world.... THIS will happen AFTER luffy has found out about the secret of the world government, found the one piece, and is "pirate king".....
and there the to be continued will turn to THE END
mermen don't split their tails right? only mermaids... that's weird. that means there are more mermaids than mermen up on the surface.
Dang i have this theory about the One Piece, i think there is 2 type of One Piece, one is the treasure and one is the to reunite the 4 seas. If you guys remember the squid who can guess the future. She forsaw that Luffy will destroy the fishman island, i think it’s actually true. Since to reunite the 4 seas they need to destroy the redline, which is above the fishman island, now the ship Noah will do its purpose and Princess Shirahoshi will call the Sea Kings to help the Noah to evacuate the people from fishman island. Now once the Redline destroyed. The mythical see will appear, the ALL-BLUE! The 4 seas reunited as one creating the ALL-BLUEE, now the reunited seas as the One Piece. Also correct me if i’m wrong, Straw Hat have the ancient weapon which is Pluton, Pluton is Thousand Sunny. Since Franky is the master builder/shipwright, he does have blueprint of Pluton. Franky built Pluton as Sunny but Franky lessen the power of Sunny because many people will come after the Straw Hats crew. Only Thousand Sunny can use a Coup de Burst which can make the ship fly. Also with a small ship, Thousand Sunny have 16 canons of total. Thousand Sunny also carry different vehicles/killing machines like General Franky. They also friend with an Ancient Weapon which is Princess Shirahoshi
I think in fishman island it was a shark woman not a squid woman but yeah i agree
Straw hats don't have pluton, pluton is in wano, frank just memorized that blueprints, maybe to use later
TBF an enclipse wouldn be an interesting idea
Maybe in the battle between black beard and luffy, an eclipse may occur. It won't do anything but it may symbolise the battle between the sun and the moon, good vs evil, light vs dark, and which ever one is focused on the most, will present the winner.
Theory Sun God Nika is a Sea Devil
After Imu extinguished Nika's light
from the pages of History. Imu then
removed the most important part of
Sun God Nikas ideology, Freedom.
She cursed the Devil Fruits created by
Nika's imagination and gave him the
name Sea Devil. So if anyone tried to
finish where Nika failed, they were
hated by the Sea (Imu) and lost their
ability to swim. Imu backward means
Sea and the Sea represents Freedom.
so Luffy set out to conquer the sea
and in essence reclaim his Freedom.
Lots of weird theories on Rocks devil fruit but tbh I think if anything he was most likely the previous owner of the Yami Yami no mi
I can see it happening but, honestly, I would be super OK if Rocks was fruitless like Roger and he was just that good. I mean, it would take raw power to command a wild group where, between others, Big Mom, Kaido, Whitebeard and others were part of.
Anyone bored down to read my incredibly long theory? It's 50 pages of research and One Piece all about how Japanese colonialism in Okinawa relates to the Ancient Kingdom, the Void Century, and Laugh Tale. Still WIP so I'd appreciate any help and criticism.
i dont know if ill read the entire thing, but i think you should post it if you have a link or smt
Here you go. Sorry about the manga screenshots, they did not compress well from word to pdf. https://drive.google.com/file/d/15NPlYp3WDYlfyB9vaJeFkysOG0H3muks/view
ive only skimmed it, but this is not only very interesting but also very possible for where oda got the inspiration
I appreciate it
Otherwise, we don't really have a good idea for why Oda said in an SBS that Luffy is best represented by Okinawa prefecture
i just finished reading it and its amazing. youll enjoy it. havent been so hooked onto a theory in a while! @urban vortex it was really amazing
mohdoo or evan, one of u should pin it
I appreciate thank you
you should get a history phd with this dissertation. I´ll defo read into it
It would be really cool if people wanted to make similar papers on other real life influences and we compile them into the Ohara International Journal of Anthropology
Very quick theory on COC: We see that Skypiea has a lot of foreshadowing for the current One Piece storyline. I believe there is a lot more relation between Imu and Enel. At least I think maybe Imu can manipulate people (maybe he manipulated Sabo to kill someone at the reverie). I think kings Hakis purpose is actually to fight that mind control. The parallel between Skypeia and Marijeois and Enel/Imu, is that Luffy was the only one able to counter Enel cuz of his fruit and I think luffy will be the only one able to counter Imu´s mind control with his conquerors
something along those lines I'm thinking. Its seems odd that the ultimate purpose of COC is for fights and not something deeper
please excuse the shitty sentence structure I'm tired
Quick thought...while revisiting some episodes with a friend who is new to OP I realized that Luffys true power will always be beyond any admiral, neither the original ice, light, magma ,nor the revised ones : gravity and plants(/chlorophyll?) , the sun is beyond all those powers
damn
Why would Enel return at any point in the story?
And why would he had mind controlled Sabo, a very powerful and unknown individual to him to kill other, also unknown individuals with no motive?
We haven't seen him do any kind of mind control and there's nothing that points at mind control being an ability he may have, or others. There's also no motive for him to know or care enough at a lower realm political meet-up to go there, want to kill someone and then use someone else to kill them.
On the Reverie incident, my theory is that, after a specific set of circumstances, the Gorosei killed King Cobra and Sabo either happened to be present at the time when it happened or Vivi was and he helped her escape.
With the daughter of the person who was just murdered being taken away, they could claim Sabo killed Cobra and took Vivi hostage, which is why they say Sabo is related to what happened and not the victim. This would also explain why people who have known him are crying while looking at the Newspapers and vaguely dancing around what happened.
Ivankov: "What?! What does this mean?! That can't be true!! You're kidding, Sabo!!! It's the W.E.J.!! That bird's lying through his beak!! This is Sabo we're talking about!! It's impossible!!! I won't believe a word of it!!!"
Dragon: "Our first step... Is to ascertain the truth..."
Bello Betty: "Sabo..."
Koala: "Sabo... Please don't be true..."
Stelly: "He was... In Mariejois?! My... My Brother?!!"
Makino: "Sabo..."
Dadan: "Sabo!!! Say it ain't so!!!"
Besides all of those people's reactions being very vague, I think, for once in his life, Stelly's reaction was a highlight. His wording implies Sabo is no longer present in Mariejois, meaning he likely is still alive. This also fits with the news of the death at the Reverie being related to Sabo. Because he is thought to be the perpetrator. Dragon's reaction is also interesting. While still shocked, he remains calm and decides that the best course of action is to ascertain the truth. If Sabo was the one dead at the Reverie, their reactions wouldn't be that tame. Besides, if the one dead at Mariejois was a revolutionary, no matter how high-ranking or strong, it wouldn't had made this big a news all over the world, so as I said, I think it's likely King Cobra and Sabo was used as a scapegoat using the fact he likely escaped and is on the low with Vivi. This would also turn Vivi back around to the story and maybe even the Straw Hats, as Sabo and Vivi are probably being persecuted, specially the latter to silence her, since if it was Sabo who talked, they could always say he is lying because he's a criminal.
no, I´m saying Imu has that
I explained my self like ass, my fault
If Imu had mind control, wouldn't he mind control powerful, captured individuals to turn them on his side?
Like, I think adoctrination is better described for what they're doing, specially considering the Cypher Pol is mostly made from orphans taken in and groomed to be killers and faithful servants. If Im had mind control capabilities, he would've done more ludicrous things, but I'm not about to really bring this down since we haven't seen anything from Im and hypnosis exist in One Piece, so I don't wanna rule out anything right now, but I am skeptical about is.
If Law couldn't teleport BM and Kaido because of their Haki, then Mind Control wouldn't work because of that as well, unless they allow it
Why would Haki evade mind control...?
Like, let's not apply rules that haven't been written. Law couldn't teleport BM and Kaido cuz their Haki was very strong, but all the time that has been brought up it has been a clutch for Oda not wanting Law to not have a ceiling.
Is just doesn't feel right. So with Haki you have the power to overthrow someones will and knock people out. Meanwhile you could be easily countered by mind control?
Again, mind control hasn't been written into One Piece and I don't want to think about the implications of mind control against existing power systems in One Piece.
Which is why I'm not thinking about it nor want to.
It's the same feeling about Law's powers ("If I don't think about it too hard, I won't have a headache.") except we can fully and totally ignore it cuz besides hypnosis, there hasn't been any ability that lets people manipulate one another.
Moon and Sun are usually lovers/family in mythos. I can't remember one now were they are enemies.
I agree that BlackBeard is not the endgame enemy, but he is going to clash with Luffy due to both their dreams. BB will try to get the One Piece and it has been hinted at that one of the locations the next phoneglyph may be in is Fullalead, which is BlackBeard's base of operations. If Shanks doesn't have it and Elbaf doesn't either, then it will make sense that the final phoneglyph is on the hands of BlackBeard.
In spite of what he did, I do agree that Luffy and BlackBeard are not opposites. In fact, BlackBeard might even wanna ally with Luffy, considering he does like to avoid conflict when necessary (like when he prompted, legitimately, to Ace to join him before they broke out in a fight).
His endgoal with Pre-TS was to have the Yami Yami and let loose infamous prisoners to have a gigantic crew. Most of everything else came as a kind of collateral (him having the chance to kill WB and seize the Gura Gura, Ace being the one to get captured, prompting The War of the Best, etc.) so I think he has no ill-will towards Luffy besides maybe ego trips if they ever trespass on their territories.
Yes but im talking about them being exact opposits
Anyone else think Akainu might just be imprisoned in Impel Down at the end of the series considering what he was willing to sacrifice innocent lives?
Like at Marineford + Plus that ship of civilians when he called in a buster call
Highly doubt it. The point with Marines is that they all uphold their own personal justice while working as Navymen. They all have different straws, they wouldn't all react or respond in the same way towards the same situation.
Some choose to let pirates go if they think they did good service or ally themselves with them to take down a worse enemy (Fujitora and Smoker), while others see justice as this black and white thing where they're the good guys and criminals and everyone who isn't and may be a threat to them or allied with criminals deserve the same punishment (Akainu).
And the point is, it's all justice and it's all a matter of perspective, experience and personal belief. All marines have different interpretations of Justice and while the top dog kind of enforces their take onto the rest, it doesn't mean they lose individuality or they are all bad.
Sengoku also had to make some bad calls and say some cold shit to subordinates of his and even if all the truths are revealed, I doubt he will be punished either for the calls he had to make, specially since the WG's power meant the Navy could lose a lot of people if they stood against their orders and didn't submit to them.
i have a lil theory on jewelry bonney, that she is a charlotte but chose her father’s name, im only guessing because of her pink hair and similiar lipstick to BM, also kinda looks similar to young BM
I this a f**** spoiler?
I really like this twist, however, given the situation with Lola and how BM and his crew hate betrayal, if she was, she would've been prompted along with Lola when stragglers from their crew were mentioned.
Read the #old-rules before you post please.
You say this because of the guy who spoiled or because of me?
Because someone posted a spoiler, yes. Weird given it's the first rule of the server.
I still believe kaido is an awakened zoan, but Kaido's dragon form is the awakening.
Luffy's nika form wasn't realised till he awakened and Marco's fruit acts different too.
So maybe kaido can still turn into a fish, but awakening it allowed for the karp that jumped over the waterfall to become a dragon.
Plus, he knew a lot about awakening, it'd make sense he'd have one
His fruit was named for his dragon form, so it can't be something that happens from awakening
Tbh it’s possible for both awakens are still kinda janky rn
Theory: Why Vegapunk is NOT Borsalino.
A number of people believe that Vegapunk and Borsalino (aka Kizaru) are the same person, given how Borsalino seemed to know and get along with Sentomaru, Chief of the Science Division, who oversees Pacifistas (and their creation or testing process, seemingly). There's also a pretty convenient detail in how the fruit Vegapunk used to test his theory on being able to pass on Devil Fruit abilities is Kizaru's.
My belief is that this theory is not true, in spite of a good number of good points to it's favour. And the details that break this opinion are:
#1 Out of the other 3 characters pertaining to the science team MADS, none of them have referred to Vegapunk as either Borsalino or Kizaru. They must've seen him in person and have interacted with him before, so, if we consider the theory being true, it is weird none of them have pointed out his position as a high ranking marine.
#2 Vegapunk is a very sought after person of interest. His knowledge and scientific wonders are 50 years ahead of current technology, after all. Even if he was powerful and high-ranking, if he was recognizable, strong people (like the emperors) would've attempted to fight him and kidnap him for their own benefit. So this detail highly detriments any Vegapunk = Borsalino theories.
#3 And the most important detail, Vegapunk lied to the Navy and World Goverment about the artificial Devil Fruit made from Kaido's experimentation, saying it was defective and sending it to Punk Hazard knowing the place was abandoned and is not easy to access. This hints that Vegapunk may be knowledgeable about WG secrets and openly lied to the Navy to keep them from using this huge amounts of power, instead deciding to seal away the fruit forever. If Borsalino was Vegapunk, he wouldn't had lied, as he is pretty much faithful to the Navy and has never seen wavering from that position like Kuzan and Fujitora enough to conceal advancements like this that would help the Navy keep higher ranking pirates under control.
Impel Down confirmed the 4 Beasts of Hell are awakened Devil Fruit users, and Road to Laugh Tale Vol. 3 reiterated. The user's consciosness and control over their fruit becomes more unstable, but their strength and resiliance increases highly.
I also believe Chopper's points might've been just partial transformation and Zoan Awakening that were able to spurt because of the Rumble Ball drug. Like, he could've trained them on his own but he was able to make it come out using a drug to control it. It also checks out, with Monster Point highly increasing Chopper's strength and resilience, but also making him duller and unable to distinguish between allies and enemies.
My belief is that this theory is not true, in spite of a good number of good points to it's favour.
I'm genuinely curious what remotely points to this theory being valid in any way at all. This was one of the original crackpot theories, there really doesn't have to be any argument made against it whatsoever lol
Yea but imo kaido has a way more of mastery so he would t go super crazy and he fits the description for awakening to a t
Monster Point does the opposite of awakening, he gets strength and resilience but it's a form that steadily drains his life as he uses it and renders him immobile after
@sand sail The only points I could actively find that can remotely used as an arguement were the ones I posted. His involvement with the science division and how the fruit Vegapunk used to pass down to the Pacifista weapons was Kizaru's laser beams.
I actually think Monster Point works different from Zoan's Awakening because it is activated through a drug and not through him actually triggering it after training how to do so. It is also why Chopper was able to control it after researching and studying more on his island to perfect his Rumble Ball formula. Or at least, that is my belief.
@pure raven yeah, but let's remember he's a mythical zoan. As seen with Luffy, mythical Zoans differ from regular ones as they gain much more supernatural-like abilities and their awakenings are vastly different, seeing our one and only example so far.
So I don't think Kaido's awakening would be the standard Zoan one and I don't think Oda will ever adress it. And considering his is a model of the fish fruit as Okama mentioned, it is unlikely his transformation is to a Koi and his awakening is to a dragon, specially because, if true, his Awakening had a hybrid form.
I think it would just ti an extreme which I think we see with fish to dragon with kaido and it fits mythologically
If it is as you described, then why is Kaido the only mythical Zoan that acts in this way?
Marco doesn't transform to a bird first then awakens his fruit and turns into a Phoenix.
Orochi doesn't turn into a snake first then turns into an eight-headed serpent.
Yamato doesn't turn into a dog first and then into a Makami.
If going by your logic, then Kaido would be the only one out of the mythical Zoan users (who don't have a human zoan fruit) whose Awakening is worse for no reason and works in a different way. Again, there is a reason why they're a model of the Fish fruit and not THE fish fruit.
What is the gear 5 sulong theory
Bc kaido is the only one who has a reason not to with the Karl mythology. And no one else does it? Have you seen Luffy he just did it rn
Luffy is a human who ate a human zoan fruit, which is why I excluded him and Sengoku from my example, since he can't really have transformations to something he already is.
It's OK if you have crackpot theories, but you should post evidence to support your arguements. No Mythological Zoan works off the norm besides human zoan fruits on humans, which Kaido's isn't and we've been told and re-assured of what a Zoan Awakening does and looks like. Kaido's base abilities granted by his fruit aren't due to an awakening.
And if you want further proof of that being untrue, then look at Momo. He hasn't transformed into a Koi, he was transformed into a dragon, directly. His base form when he was little was also younger and smaller, but he still transformed directly into a dragon, so we know that isn't true.
this theory isnt related to anything at all but it might somehow later become a plotline, that don chinjao and don krieg are related
If Krieg was Don Chinjao's children, wouldn't he had displayed the Hasshoken instead of weird trick weapons? And if he was Don Chinjao's son, wouldn't he had stayed in the Kano Kingdom? He would've inherited the Happo Navy if he did, so if he was his son, why would he go on to become a pirate instead?
The Kano Kingdom is on the West Blue. If Don Krieg was born there like Don Chinjao and his family, why did he end up on the East Blue? And considering he had no knowledge of the Grand Line nor any of the instruments needed to navigate it, it would be pretty hard to believe he went all the way from West Blue to East Blue and not have heard anything about it.
Sai and Boo are also Don Chinjao's grandchildren, which would imply Don Krieg is his dad, going off by that theory, but neither of them have ever aluded of their dad becoming a pirate and going off. It would also be... Pretty worrying if he was cuz he is 44 and Sai is 28. He would've have given birth to Sai at age 16, which is worrying, though, biologically, plausible.
I just don't know why Don Krieg would be relevant at all this late into the story just to be revealed as the son of Don Chinjao of all things, but there is evidence against it.
doesn't necessarily mean that they'd be directly related
could be very very distantly related like their great-great-great grandparents were married or smth
no real argument for or against it but i guess don krieg being the pirate admiral and don chinjao leading the happo navy could blossom into something kinda interesting
i originally came on here to share a theory lol before i got shat on but quite curious to hear about urouge
hes definitely coming up in the next saga
I dunno, I think out of all the Supernovas, he's kinda the most expendable.
He was only shown two times on Post Time-Skip. One mention saying he defeated Snack, one of the 4 sweet commanders and then seeing Kaido trying to kill himself.
...Wonder why Kaido just stood there not saying a thing to Urogue, like he hasn't assimilated Apoo and Hawkins and imprisoned Kidd.
Bonnie, though, considering she seems to have a beef with the WG, a connection with Kuma and possibly the revolutionaries, I do think will come up if we are ever shown in great detail what happens in the Reverie.
But Urouge is kinda just... There. I dunno what significance he could have, if at all.
hmmm you might definitely have a point there, since oda made the mistake of weaving too many story threads throughout wano and since there's so much left to unpack there's a possibility he might just be there like you said
The supernovas were also not his idea, but his editor's and while he has been good handling Law at least into the story, not so much with the rest besides in Wano where they're shown but most of them do nothing.
Drake does stuff and is shown doing stuff and being part of something, but Apoo just kinda, fucks about and Hawkins just fucking dies to Killer, so you can kinda see which ones Oda had the most interest in developing.
Bege did stuff and was kinda instrumental in Whole Cake and as I said, Bonie might also do more stuff in the Reverie. Dunno if Urouge is the only one left, but yeah, he kinda feels aimless out of all of them.
So I have this theory. But more like Plot idea for when Urouge’s role in the series becomes relevant. So I noticed urouge’s attacks is are called “inga zarashi”. It has three different translations, and it translates to either karmic punishment, retribution, and karma exposure.
We see Urouge as a very religious guy. We even spot him praying for kaido as he was preparing to take his own life. Forgiveness tends to be a thing in religion that is portrayed as good karma. There’s a lot of irony about Urouge practically wearing the motivation of revenge on his chest. What did he go through in his life for him to be vocal about retribution?
This is where enel comes to mind. Eight years before the pre time skip. Enel destroyed the sky island of birka using the powers of his devil fruit. Now with no confirmed information at all, what if Urouge was a birkan himself. The only hint we have of Urouge being a birkan is that his wings resemble the same wings as enel’s followers who were also from birka.
When ever Oda does decide to bring enel back into the main story. (or maybe not, he seems to want to end the series soon). Urouge will play a huge roll in the story. And it may even be a story arc that being Uranus to relevance. Since uranus represents the god of the heavens/sky (assuming the bird theory is debunked)
@thorn vale @steep fiber @cold thistle
I was all for this until you said "Enel coming back".
The dream never ends, huh...
But I mostly think that's a pretty neat theory
Assuming Oda does bring him back for a short story arc. As the series progresses, it’s become unlikely he will
but i also have a theory of my own which i intended to share before i got shit on in general lmao I was watching a clip about blackbeard not sleeping in which luffy said that he heard from someone in his village that people in snowy countries dont sleep and since buggy told shanks in the flashback that bb didnt sleep thats completely logical. But how did shanks know that blackbeard's from a snowy country? You might just say it's arbitrary info but since it's oda there's probably some relevance to it. So what i'm trying to get at is that shanks and blackbeard have a much more intricate relationship than many have thought to be, especially since shanks had that info before receiving the scar from blackbeard. Which leads me to believe they're possibly allies or have been allied in the past. Which would also explain the betrayal and the altrecation between the two.
As I said upper, he seems to be kicking into gear. There is a lot he seems to might've wanted to explore, like side-charas backstories and the like that either their editors advised not to do it cuz no one would care or because of time constraints.
Oda needs new editors
I like the link with Urouge and Enel but I think it would be such a minor detail to the story IF Oda put it in. Just because I think he wants to end the series soon. I'm hoping we can learn more about Uranus soon! But I'm still wondering if it would be Momo or not
Roger and Whitebeard clashed all the time, it's possible he got it when he was still young in one of those.
Also, he might just take Buggy by his word and believe that people from snowy countries don't sleep. I mean, Luffy seems to know that very small tidbit, so I'm guessing Shanks was the one who told him. I don't think Shanks is that interested in making anti BB propaganda to do an extensive background check on him.
i think the enel part could be left out but there's definitely substance to urouge being related to uranus
Yea it sucks that enel coming back to the world seems unlikely. But now you have me intrigued about momo. How did momo get caught up as potentially being Uranus
I’m still pushing for this to be true. That would be top 5 arc for me if we have an arc relating to enel and Urouge. I loved skypeia so much
but thats the thing buggy never mentions snowy countries, he just mentions that blackbeards never slept which leads me to believe he knows about blackbeards origins
Yea I still think the whole “people from winter islands don’t sleep” theory lacks substance. It’s only been mentioned to be Blackbeard who doesn’t sleep
He could've just heard that from someone else or from BB himself. And he just made his own heacanon.
Like, he was like 12, if he heard there is a guy who never sleeps and that he comes from a snowy country, he may just believe everyone from snowy countries don't sleep.
Just how he can talk to Zunesha, kinda like Shirahoshi can talk to the sea kings.
hahahahah i can definitely tell, enel returning would definitely be interesting since im also a big fan of the goro goro no mi but itd be hard to put him on a side in the final saga imo. I feel like hed just be a third party since id see no scenario where hed join luffy
Damn I hope that isn’t that case. We already got shirahoshi talking to sea animals. I’m more intrigued by the diverse set of weapons. I like that pluton is a ship, Poseidon is a mermaid that communities with sea king. I hope that Uranus isn’t the same way as Poseidon but with land animals
That bird theory is cool that we saw on that joy girl video. Shanks possibly having it would be so interesting
Yeah that would be cool if Shanks had it or had access to it or whatever. I was actually kinda shocked about Pluton being in Wano in the last chapter. I really wasn't expecting that. I think we all know how important Wano has been to Oda, and even the Kozuki families ties to poneglyphs and the past, so I couldn't see him having the sh leave Wano without having some kind of tie to it that would make it extremely important/relevant to the story later down the line. So I don't really know what to expect. If Pluton and Uranus are both in Wano or maybe just Pluton by itself. Idk. But I wouldn't be upset if Momo is important like Shirahoshi is bc Zunesha is huge. And cool.
And obviously important to Joyboys story
Actually, regarding Pluton...
In Water 7 - Enies Lobby, it was said to be a ship, but Robin and the phoneglyph said it was a weapon. And 1053 confirmed Pluton is there.
That would be insane if both weapons were in Wano the whole time. Just to show us we REALLY in the final stage
In Oda we trust
So my crackpot random theory is that Onigashima was the weapon Pluton and Pluton is supossed to be attached to a ship. It's a cannon that brings forth massive destruction (and, as a crackpot theory, may have been used by the Celestial Dragons 800 years ago to destroy the D. Clan and their birthplace) and the one thing Luffy will need to destroy the Red Line after he reaches Laugh Tale and realizes everything.
So yeah, the WG wasn't trying to actually make Pluton, just making sure no one would have the blueprints to attach Pluton to a ship (since Kaido had a hold of Pluton, if the blueprints existed, there was someone who would be able to actually complete the weapon.
Can’t a ship be considered a weapon 😅
They needed Robin out of the equation so no one knows the location of the weapon, Franky giving them the blueprints to hoard them so no one can complete Pluton and Wano to open their borders so they can scourge the actual weapon.
This way, they could protect themselves and the Red Line.
I believe in a theory similar to this. But pluton being under Wano. Portraying it as wano’s “borders”
the supernovas were absolutely Oda's idea don't spread false info lol.
If Pluton is a ship and Pluton was in Wano, then this brings forth a massive contradiction.
If the ship alone was the weapon, then Franky would've been able to make it or anyone with the blueprints. But the fact that Franky didn't means that both he didn't wanted to, but also that he couldn't because the ship would be incomplete without the weapon that is supossed to fit into it.
That explains why Pluton is in Wano but still has blueprints to be made. Cuz there's two pieces to the weapon: the cannon and the ship.
Oda and his editor wanted to spice things up for the Sabaody arc that's true. But the Supernovas as a solution to that were completely his idea.
Fair point. I hope we find out soon wth pluton is about. The mention of pluton had me wayyy more excited than the newly named yonko. That’s gonna be the highlight of the closing act of Wano
If the ship alone was the weapon, then Franky would've been able to make it or anyone with the blueprints.
Yes, this was the point of Water 7. That they could make it. Iceburg and Franky both recognize that it's a ship that should never, ever be made, and that's why they don't
Oh goodie, you did your research.
Oda had the inspiration to do the Supernovas after his editor told him to spice up things, that part is still true. Phrased it badly, cuz that's how I remembered it reading.
No. Oda himself worried that the Sabaody arc won't be interesting enough. Did you even read that interview?
Yes, but I also believe they couldn't because the ship would need the actual weapon. If not, then how do you explain that there is a location for Pluton, but there are blueprints anyone could've used to make it?
It makes no sense, that's why it has to be two pieces that need to be put together.
It makes perfect sense. They created blueprints to Pluton specifically so it could be used in case the original one was found and became a threat.
If the original one is the ship and it's still usable, then how did Kaido not stumble on it after years of owning the country? And why didn't the Kozuki clan used this knowledge to actually use it to fight back against Kaido?
It still makes no sense that Pluton is there but you can still make a new one if you wanted. There'd be no point on the three weapons if you could just... Create infinite versions of one of them. Which is why I still insist Pluton is the weapon and it needs to be put into a ship.
The point is that no one would ever, ever create them. They're weapons of horrible mass destruction that everyone the world over wants to avoid ever having to come into contact with, very few individuals have ever actually wanted to awaken and use them at all
Kaido didn't stumble on it because it was hidden, there's no real need to justify him not getting it while in Wano
The "Kozuki clan" was reduced to just Sukiyaki, there was no one else to actually go and use it. Oden probably didn't know where it was, and he would never have tried to use it even if he did, it'd be entirely against his character
Yeah, sensible shipwrights seem to think it's an abomination, but if someone wanted to make it and had the prints, they could just create infinite versions of the weapon. My point still stands.
Also, big doubt that the ship is hidden. If it's a massive weapon ship, then where in the world would it had been hidden? It makes much, muuuuuuuuuuch more sense that it was Onigashima and Kaido never realized it because he didn't had neither the blueprints to recognize the weapon of the ship nor the information from Robin stating it was in Wano.
After accidentally having one of my theories proven right, I am so sure on this that I'm actually willing to bet on it. I am sure that Pluton is the coming-together of both the weapon found on Onigashima and the ship, with the blueprints to be made found in Water 7.
Yeah, sensible shipwrights seem to think it's an abomination, but if someone wanted to make it and had the prints, they could just create infinite versions of the weapon. My point still stands.
Your point fails to consider the fact that this was what they were protecting the prints against. Yes, anyone could've made infinite Plutons if they wanted depending on the resources in the world. And that's why they were kept entirely a secret and protected through a specific lineage of shipwrights. You're absolutely right, they could do what you're saying, but what you're pointing out was literally the plot of protecting them.
Also, big doubt that the ship is hidden. If it's a massive weapon ship, then where in the world would it had been hidden?
We don't know its size, it could be hidden in the volcano for all we know. That's a popular theory.
It makes much, muuuuuuuuuuch more sense that it was Onigashima and Kaido never realized it because he didn't had neither the blueprints to recognize the weapon of the ship nor the information from Robin stating it was in Wano.
This genuinely makes no sense whatsoever. He spent 20 years on Onigashima more so than the actual country of Wano, and he just flew the island into the capital. It's not a ship lol.
After accidentally having one of my theories proven right, I am so sure on this that I'm actually willing to bet on it. I am sure that Pluton is the coming-together of both the weapon found on Onigashima and the ship, with the blueprints to be made found in Water 7.
Given everything we know, you're more than likely wrong on this one, unfortunately.
My point is that yes, sensible shipwrights will see that Pluton is a massive weapon of mass destruction, but that doesn't mean that there can be people who can appropiate the prints and then go on and make infinite copies of Pluton. Pluton must not be something that can be replicated, cuz Poseidon isn't as well. The weapon was dismantled long ago and so it makes sense that the weapon is in Wano and the ship is just the conduit. Meaning that Pluton must be a weapon that cannot just be made infinetely, but a conduit for the weapon to be used on a ship. It's a cannon.
We don't know it's size, but if it's a ship, it cannot be too small to be hidden easily. I also doubt they'd hide a ship on a fucking volcano. You think that would survive in the inside of literal magma? Or is it lava...? Point is, there's no way the weapon is hidden in the volcano.
Kaido not finding it in spite of having lived in Wano for so long is precisely why I'm saying it CAN'T be a ship. It can't be easily hidden and if Kaido found it, there's no fucking way he wouldn't had realized it was a weapon of mass destruction. It must be something that would not be able to be used without the two magic ingredients: the location and the blueprints. Being the case, it is impossible the weapon is the ship itself. Which... You agree with me? I thought you believed Pluton was the ship?
I am still willing to bet on this, mark my words. I'm confident this is the case due to the massive contradiction it is that there is blueprints for it, yet it exists as a physical thing in Wano and has been under Kaido's nose. The blueprints are to make the ship the weapon is ensambled into.
Pluton must not be something that can be replicated, cuz Poseidon isn't as well.
This theory literally can't exist in the same universe where there are blueprints to make it. These are also entirely different things, Poseidon is a living creature. Pluton is a ship.
The weapon was dismantled long ago and so it makes sense that the weapon is in Wano and the ship is just the conduit. Meaning that Pluton must be a weapon that cannot just be made infinetely, but a conduit for the weapon to be used on a ship. It's a cannon.
It's a ship with some kind of cannon, sure. The whole picture is Pluton, not just the weapon.
We don't know it's size, but if it's a ship, it cannot be too small to be hidden easily. I also doubt they'd hide a ship on a fucking volcano. You think that would survive in the inside of literal magma? Or is it lava...? Point is, there's no way the weapon is hidden in the volcano.
Who said it was made of wood? What makes you think that's something that can't happen in this series? It can easily be something hidden in the volcano, incredulity is not an argument against the very real possibility. Especially if it comes down to Kaido was there for 20 years and never found it.
Kaido not finding it in spite of having lived in Wano for so long is precisely why I'm saying it CAN'T be a ship.
This isn't an argument against being a ship, first off. And second, no matter what, we were told it IS a ship. This can't be a viable theory. You seem to be assuming your stance and then arguing back from there, but your stance has no support in the first place beyond incredulity, that's not how to form an argument or theory against what we've been directly told repeatedly.
Being the case, it is impossible the weapon is the ship itself. Which... You agree with me? I thought you believed Pluton was the ship?
It's not about belief, it's about the fact of the series. We are told one thing; the ancient weapon Pluton is in fact a ship. There has been nothing, nothing whatsoever, whether in hints or narrative, that would suggest anything otherwise. I see the logic you're using, but your logic doesn't hold up at all here. I don't agree with you, we know so far it is a ship with no reason to think otherwise. The case you've presented is basically "I don't believe it, so it can't be the case", which doesn't work in One Piece by any means. It's not even a matter of absurdity, there are MANY ways for Pluton to not be found in Wano by Kaido.
I'm confident this is the case due to the massive contradiction it is that there is blueprints for it, yet it exists as a physical thing in Wano and has been under Kaido's nose.
There's been no contradiction here at all, though.
Kutami I think you’re greatly underestimating the possibilities for hiding it. You’re saying something isn’t possible when it’s more so that we can’t really easily think of the answer. That’s been the case throughout one piece. Oda does a good job, so we often don’t see things coming. Not being able to predict where Pluton is and what shape it is doesn’t mean it can’t be a ship
^ Ultimately this is what it seems to come down to, that our lack of ability to predict it does not define the reality of the situation. But unfortunately there is a literal blueprint to Pluton, with the reactions confirming further the kind of weapon it happens to be. We just don't have anything out there to suggest that maybe it's not a ship, or it's only one component of a ship. It seems to be, so far, clearly the whole package with the weapon being the most devastating part.
Where is the link to the interview
@pure raven we aren’t supposed to be talking about that here 😂
Pluton is zuniesha and momonosuke or some connection. think back, the minks were linked the kozuki clan over years ago before the void century, it would make sense because we see zuniesha as a powerful being, it also makes sense because Pluton moves as stated from being alabasta previously,so what if the blueprints weren’t a design, but a description of how to use zuniesha via momonosuke. I believe that the mink samurai alliance was originally from evil hands getting into zuniesha, so they split the key and the lock
The only person they can trust with the key and lock is probably joyboy so that’s why they waited so long to open the borders , so that the key(momo) and zuniesha(lock) can be used for good
I’d definitely disagree. I don’t think Robin and franky’s actions would really line up with that. Maybe zunesha is required to reach pluton or free it from its seal or something, but I don’t see it as being pluton itself.
I have a good theories about void centuries and d clan and Yami fruit and laugh tale
So what is void centuries
Previous user of Yami yami no fruit has also taken the power of the time devil fruit and combining them both he erased the history of the void century but what he couldn't erase was the laugh tale because it exists outside of time or it is not bounded by the time .
Are we on the Pluton is not a ship convo once again when it was clearly told that it is
No, I was just trying to say Pluton is not complete without the weapon.
The blueprints make the ship and the weapon in Wano completes Pluton, but apparently my theory is outlandish and doesn't make sense.
I am still betting on it.
Tom gave the blueprints OF PLUTON to Iceburg and Franky and they had problems to fathom how something could even be build. They were thinking from the position of SHIPWRIGHTS, not as weapon designers. It's wasn't about the ethics of creating such thing of mass destruction but about the complexity of the design. I'm sure Pluton has some very amazing tech integrated to it and you cannot separate the two - the weapon and the ship from each other.
Ships have canons and other stuff built into them that are separate from the making of the ship.
Saying that the ship needs a weapon to be complete is not outlandish because it sure would be funny if there is blueprints to make the ship, but the ship was already built and hidden somewhere else.
There would be no point to having blueprints to create Pluton if Pluton is already built somewhere else and can be searched for. The two notions contradict each other.
They literally said they are safeguarding the blueprints because Toms and his predecessors line of reasoning was: If someone - and those people who want to do that surely exist - awakens the Pluton that is hidden, you need to build a ship of the same capabilities. I think this line of reasoning is wrong and when Franky was convinced that Robin - who is the only person in the world who is capable of doing so - won't do that, you don't need the blueprints as a counter measure.
I actually prompted this line of thought, but Robin is the only person alive who can read the Phoneglyphs right now, but that doesn't mean anyone can't just research them and learn how to as well, so it makes no sense that Franky just destroys the blueprints for that. He did it so the WG wouldn't have their hands on it.
I just feel like it makes no sense for my theory to get bashed like this. I am acknowledging Pluton is a ship, I agree. I just say that Wano has the weapon to complete the ship and make it as dangerous as seen in the blueprints, but apparently that is wrong and stupid and there's no proof and everyone thinks is a bad theory.
How do you research reading the poneglyphs? Also Franky literally said that because he knows Robin won't seek the awakening of Pluton, he can destroy the blueprints.
I mean, the people of Ohara didn't just knew how to from the womb. Reasearch has been done on Phoneglyphs and studies comparing the markings to actually know how to read them and how to investigate and piece together the information from them to make educated guesses and theories.
Like, anyone who researches hard enough would eventually know how to read it, but apparently, Ohara was the example for anyone to not have the balls to do it, even if people from pirate crews like Big Mom or Kaido would be able to research them in protection of these incredibly powerful individuals, though, they instead decide to bet their chances on a weird three-eyed tribe to somehow awaken their powers and be able to brute force it using some kind of weird foresight.
I just think it's weird factions that are opossed and constantly fighting the WG have never thought of researching them.
Ok fair technically it's completely possible to be able to eventually decipher them but the mutually agreed truth in the One Piece world is that Nico Robin, the sole survivor of the destruction of Ohara is the only known living person who has the knowledge in her head.
Yes, but it would still be rash to burn the blueprints.
Franky made that decision in that context what was true to him: A person who literally wants to awaken Pluton to coup the WG is in front of me and the keys to getting access to Pluton are: these blueprints in my belly and Nico Robin.
I don't think its meaningful to consider that: "Well Spandam can just say I would've succeeded if it wasn't for you meddling straw hats, back to the drawing board and let's become academics of forbidden knowledge!"
Lemme present it this way:
Let's assume I am completely wrong and that my theory is trash and shit and I'm an idiot for ever believing Pluton needs the ship and the weapon to be the weapon.
If Pluton can be found in Wano, couldn't anyone just... Create new blueprints after researching the ship?
We also have another thing. Lucci and Kaku actually saw (at least some, not all of the pages) the blueprints from Franky, since Franky needed them to acknowledge the blueprints were real before burning them. Wouldn't they be able to just recreate the ship using the memory of the pages they've seen to actually make it? This is more of straw grasping, since it is needed to believe that Lucci and/or Kaku somehow have photographic memory and have read and memorized every page shown by Franky of the blueprints, but the danger is still there.
Sure, Robin is the only person alive who can read the glyphs, but the WG has been scared of Wano, allegedly because "of the strength of the samurai", but it is fairly possible that, since they knew of Pluton already without reading the glyphs, they know it's actual location and that's why they try to enter, or at least have friendly relationships with Wano.
Following this, wouldn't any Wano residents be able to locate it if they searched every inch of Wano? Wouldn't the Kozuki Family have knowledge of where Pluton is hidden, since Sukiyaki seems to know actually what Pluton is and that it is hidden in his country? If Sukiyaki knew, wouldn't he had told his people to be able to fight back against Kaido if it was such a terrific weapon of mass destruction?
There is too much speculation to be had about Pluton and the information we have about it. It is why I keep saying there is too many incongruent logical fallacies if Pluton had blueprints, but the ship was built and hidden away in Wano as well. It is why I believe that Pluton, the ship, needs the weapon of the same name found in Wano to be completed and why no one in Wano wouldn't be able to use it if they had it, nor anyone with the blueprints would be able to actually make Pluton with just the ship alone. Franky knew that no one would be able to complete Pluton if he discarded the other pivotal piece for the weapon to be complete, which is why he burned it after being reassured that Robin and the SHs wouldn't use this knowledge for evil purposes.
This makes much more sense considering that, if Robin knew Pluton was in Wano, she would've told Franky burning the blueprints is not enough because a functional version of the ship is hidden somewhere else and someone can just make blueprints again if they find the ship and use the ship itself.
There's is just one thing: Do you actually need Pluton to fight against Pluton :)
We don't know if the WG or the Five Elders actually know if Pluton is Wano but WG's weapon and tech reserves are dependant of Wanos craftmanship so it's completely reasonable they'd want to cut out Kaido from being the middle man and assimilate the country into WG
You can jump to earlier convos about Pluton and here are some of my thoughts
thinking shanks might fight luffy rn since iirc oda said kaido isnt the final boss of wano
Ive seen a lot of people saying they think Luffy dies at the end of one piece what do you guys think?
everyone dies so technically ofc he will
I mean u think we will see him die at the end of one piece?

That's really interesting! I dunno if Oda will frame Franky's development that way, but that would be dope if it happened.
Well if you think about the combat capabilities of Sunny, it's clear that Franky isn't that fond of building weapons anyone could use. The current addons to sunny can be utilized as weapons only if you combine them with his own body.
It is why I keep saying there is too many incongruent logical fallacies
But this is the problem here, you're not bringing up any logical incongruencies, you're pointing out problems the actual characters in the story acknowledge.
Yes, someone could probably rebuild the ship if they research it, which is how the original blueprints were probably made. Except it's been hidden for over 800 years and maybe 4 people have ever wanted to find or build it with the rest of the world entirely against it. Because it's a weapon of mass destruction. Can't research what essentially doesn't exist to the entire world.
Yes, maybe the Kozuki clan did know where it is, or maybe only Sukiyaki did. No, he would never have lead the people of Wano to using it. Because it's a weapon of mass destruction. Imagine he tries, fails, and it falls into Kaido's hands.
Following this, wouldn't any Wano residents be able to locate it if they searched every inch of Wano?
Which is something no one would ever do in any country because why would they ever care to, first off, and secondly because not all of Wano is actually friendly to its citizens.
You're pushing this as if Pluton is in any way easy to find, which can't possibly be the case when it's been hidden for over 800 years.
This makes much more sense considering that, if Robin knew Pluton was in Wano, she would've told Franky burning the blueprints is not enough because a functional version of the ship is hidden somewhere else and someone can just make blueprints again if they find the ship and use the ship itself.
No, she wouldn't have. She doesn't talk about the ancient weapons to anyone except the people who already know about them, ever. She's entirely, completely against the idea of even breathing a word about it outside of those extremely private conversations. She knows the danger, it was even the public reason for Ohara being razed to the ground. It's entirely within Robin's character to never correct anyone about the weapons, ever, because of everything she's been through.
Wouldn't they be able to just recreate the ship using the memory of the pages they've seen to actually make it?
No, Franky just flipped through them at a distance. They didn't stand there memorizing it. Franky may have, but he sure isn't ever going to build it either. Iceburg could've too, still won't ever build it. The whole point is that it's never to be built, ever, unless the original gets activated again.
Yes, the illegality of researching the poneglyphs is exactly why no one does it. The Emperors never did because they never needed that power, they were never against the World Government until the Big Mom/Beast Pirates alliance. They just ruled.
Remember, it took scholars actually willing to research and study to do all of that. Pirates are lazy brutes for the most part, no one wants to sit and put in that kind of effort, lol
I have been pointing out stuff that doesn't make sense within the confines that Pluton is only the ship, you just never gave any of it the benefit of the doubt and attempted to disprove all of it.
If any pirate would have known about Pluton, they would have tried to find it. Crocodile did, Spandam did and if any big pirate like Kaido or Big Mom knew, they probably also would've tried or at least been interested in building the weapon. Saying only 4 people tops have ever wanted to do that is ignoring the vast amount of pirates who give no shits about the consequences of their actions, which, there is an abundance of. Hell, just the thought of having a massive weapon to flaunt about is what moved Crocodile to make an entire plan based on finding the Phoneglyph and having Robin decypher it.
Let's remember that the people of Wano were opressed to hell and back and a lot of then went on suicide missions to defeat Kaido. Considering most of them already go in thinking they're gonna die, if they had the knowledge there is a weapon like that, they would rather wage their chances and use it instead of living in chains. That was the whole purpose of that scene in Wano where Ashura Douji showed the Nine Scabbards who traveled through time the literal mountain of tombstones from people who couldn't take it anymore and launched a suicide attack onto Onigashima. They all were so desperate that they rather would've fought and died than kneel and die. If they were aware of such a weapon, they would gladly use it to liberate their home country, which is being deformed and malnourished due to this pirate.
I know Pluton isn't easy to find, but that's why I keep pushing that even if they had found it, they wouldn't had been able to use it because it needs Pluton, the ship, to function.
"She doesn't talk about the ancient weapons to anyone except the people who already know about them."
...So like, Franky? Which literally safeguarded the blueprints of the weapon and would have even more inside knowledge of it than Robin since he knows what it looks like? Remember, this is following my theory, so if Pluton needed a ship and the weapon to be completed, then Robin would've told Franky that there's still the Pluton that has already been made to destroy in Wano. The fact she didn't say anything means she knew it was a two-piece weapon and that without the blueprints for the ship, the weapon attached to it wouldn't really be able to be put to use.
I've already argued that Lucci and Kaku memorizing it would've been a massive strawman I don't even believe too much in.
The emperors are power-hungry. Even if they didn't went against the WG directly, they'd still want to possess a massive weapon. Specially, the battle-mongerer one whose sole dream relies on creating a massive war that destroys class division and makes a dog eat dog world where the strongest survive and come out on top. You think that dude would pass at a weapon of mass destruction being the guy who wants to make eternal conflict?
I also don't believe what you say, considering there is a lot of pirates from crews that are smarter and more scholarly that you would think. Take Queen, for example.
Big Mom and Kaido had been hoarding the few Road Poneglyphs they had. They knew these were the key to Laugh Tale and One Piece as Roger used them. Big Mom also had a plan to read the Poneglyphs once Pudding would gain the ability to understand them (with implications that the only reason she gave birth to a three eyed kid that she thought disgusting was to gain access to the secret of the Poneglyphs.) So at least two of the Emperors did in fact have plans with the Poneglyphs even before they teamed up. Shanks and White Beard never expressed interest in reaching Laugh Tale (AFAIK) and Black Beard is a bit of mystery whether or not his plans include reaching Laugh Tale or if he plans to make this era his through other means.
I've read this whole argument and I don't quite understand what you're getting at.
You're saying that Pluton is made by combining the ship, which is depicted in the blueprints, and the weapon, which is hidden in Wano (and possibly is Onigashima). Is that right ?
If that's the case then I think you're mistaken on the whole blueprints business. The blueprints were made for the purpose of countering the existing Pluton with another Pluton. If there's a crucial part of Pluon that is unique in the world, then it's impossible for two Plutons to exist at the same time. Rendering the whole plan pointless.
If any pirate would have known about Pluton
And there's the rub, none of them do. Because the government's been trying to hide any and all information remotely related for 800 years. That's why I said only around 4 or so people have wanted to get them. I'm not ignoring anyone else, I'm telling you why no one else is attempting to get them. They have no means of doing so or even a starting point. Even Crocodile's attempt was ill fated since he was nowhere near Wano.
Considering most of them already go in thinking they're gonna die, if they had the knowledge there is a weapon like that, they would rather wage their chances and use it instead of living in chains
They didn't have that knowledge though. One person in the entire history of Wano so far has shown any kind of inkling about Pluton, and that's Sukiyaki. Why would you assume anyone else knew?
And if they did, why would they even attempt to use it and risk it falling into Kaido's hands? That's legitimately worth the country dying.
...So like, Franky?
No, there's no reason to talk to Franky about it. His feelings on the matter were made entirely clear, and she was there for all of it.
This logic doesn't work at all. Robin didn't say anything because breathing a word about the weapons is dangerous to everyone involved. She's only ever brought it up to Sukiyaki and Neptune because they knew exactly what/where these things were. Robin would never have told Franky anything no matter what she found out about it, just like she never told him it was in Wano in the first place. You're using pretty circular logic to say this.
Nope. Which is why he decided to go for it when he was ready to make his war, remember? They didn't pass it up. They just had to wait for the right time.
I also don't believe what you say, considering there is a lot of pirates from crews that are smarter and more scholarly that you would think. Take Queen, for example.
Who isn't interested at all in the poneglyphs it seems, sure. It's not about being smart, it's about being a scholar in the subject. No one seems to want to study them, or they're just too hard to study. Ohara were the greatest scholars of the day, after all. Not everyone is going to have their aptitude for research.
I believe that a Pluton warship made from the blueprints would be incomplete, yes. While I think it would be lame if the warship is the weapon itself (considering it is said that it can sink entire island with one shot, which... Wouldn't that be entirely on the weapons attached and not the ship itself?), my alternate take is that the original Pluton is a ship with the weapon that has been hidden in Wano for 800 years (somehow) and that Plutons made from the blueprints would've still been incomplete, but, as they could be reproduced ad infinitum if anyone wanted to, a fleet of them would be able to stop the original one.
As I said, if 800 years ago, there were cannons and cannonballs able to do that much damage, then it makes no sense that the ship is needed for the weapons to work, meaning it has to have a special weapon attached or the blueprints also detailed how to make the special weapons that allowed it to shot down entire islands in one shot.
I think Pluton uses water like the knock up stream and can be used for non destructive purposes. Just like how Poseidon isn’t exclusively destructive I think the same is true for Pluton and Uranus. I don’t think it’s canon balls
This would be a really interesting concept. I was hoping maybe it was some kind of concentrated blast of something instead of a cannon ball too
It's supposed to destroy an island in one blow, so a concentrated water cannon would be perfect for it. We already saw what the knock up stream can do to an island since that's how Skypeia was made, lol
It could be. It was my belief that Pluton must have some sort of special weapon to actually have those destructive capabilities. In fact, I think maybe it was air and the weapon functions on a similar vein to the Gaon Cannon/Coup de Burst, but on a much bigger scale.
Considering Franky has insider knowledge about Pluton's inner workings, it could be possible he tried to somewhat replicate some of it's capabilities on a minor scale.
I see, that's possible I guess, though the W7 arc certainly doesn't suggest it.
I absolutely agree with your remark about the weapons attached vs the ship itself, though I didn't reach the same conclusion as you. I think this "contradiction" indicates that the power of Pluton actually goes beyond just destruction, and that it actually has a specific purpose that can only be fulfilled if you have the whole ship exactly as described by the blueprints.
Yeah I definitely think it’s like Gaon canon but I think it’s able to use water like cola. Since the knock up stream allowed for relocation of an island to the White Sea, I think Pluton was able to be used for the same purpose. That’s why I think Pluton is under Wano or in the volcano
One of my theories is that the AK abandoned the blue sea and just tossed themselves into the upper levels of the White Sea with pluton but Joyboy stayed behind to help their allies, forming the first pirate crew
Something that could directly control the ocean would also be a viable weapon
Mohdoo's knock-up stream idea fits this, as does my construction ship theory (which is in the pins if you're interested)
There's an infinity of possibilities for what Pluton does that don't fall into what you've called a contradiction earlier
Isn't that Poseidon's deal though? Controlling Sea Kings would be like controlling the ocean itself, since those mofos are like, super carnivours of the sea.
Right so that’s why I see it kinda like nuclear power. You can power a city or you can destroy a city. I think all the ancient weapons have that dynamic. You can use pluton for all sorts of things
She used them to save FMI by having them essentially be manual laborers. They are likely necessary for moving Noah up to the surface in the same way
Nah, it's just controlling creatures
Controlling the sea itself would be much more threatening
Actually, since fishmen would likely be able to go up on their own, wouldn't it make sense that it's likely to pull Fishman Island up instead of having them travel with the Noah to the surface?
After all, Fishman Island is like, smaller than the ship itself.
What do you guys think I the over under is on Usopp getting killed next arc?
Yeah I don’t think Noah is for transporting fishmen. I think fishmen built it since they are shipwrights and it was intended to help their allies survive a great flood

Fishman Island is several times bigger than Noah
I feel like the AW naming pattern leads away from this, as "Poseidon" would suggest it's the most sea-related of the bunch
Possibly, but then Pluton is still a ship
@latent hinge Take it to another channel please
I dunno, that doesn't make sense either for me. The WG more than likely created and perpetuated racial hate that made the fishmen want to live under the sea, so I dunno why fishmen would have a boat to help humans if humans are the ones who pushed them into the see.
I see it more likely that the Noah is made for either pulling the entire Fishman Island up or some other, unexplored thing, like maybe having entire countries moved to have a great banquet or something, which is what I think Luffy's dream is.
Wasn't is said that Noah clashing into Fishman Island would crush the entire country?
It also looked bigger than the whole of Fishman island, at least, that I remember.
Well obviously the people who made the Noah in the scenario weren't racists and so they understood that killing people is not a good way to fight hatred. That is after all the main message of the FMI arc
The imagery of 8 on various flags (FMI, Wano, Alabasta, Skypiea, BB's flag, Kaido's flag, Zou) strongly implies once upon a time there was some sort of alliance that lost the great war and went into hiding. FMI can have allies without being sympathetic towards all humans
It was going to pop the bubble, not crush the island
So i just thought of this theory of what the one piece might be.
So we know that Buggy got sick once he started getting close to the one piece. Shanks and all the other non df users
did not get sick. We also know that all the crew members of shanks crew are non df users. So what if the one piece is
actually the tree where luffy's fruit was extracted.
This could also be the reason why Roger laughed once he set foot on the island. His thought in that moment might have
been something along the lines of "I got through this whole journey without a df and now that i have reached the
final island i am offered any of these (the fruits in the tree) df"
We also know that every 50 years a new fruit grows in that tree. So what if the tree was also discovered in the void
Century And in that 800 year period there grew another 16 df. This might be why the WG tried to hide the truth from
the public.
It was also stated in the first romance dawn that the origins of the gomu gomu no mi were from the "legend tree"
That appears only once every fifty years.
We "know" every 50 years new fruits grow? I didn't know that, where did you get that info from?
The Romance Dawn that came before OP and had different ideas about things?
The first Romance Dawn, much like One Piece proper, depicts the fruit as the property of the Red Hair Pirates, which Luffy nonchalantly eats. It also describes the fruit's origins as a "legend tree" (幻の木 Maboroshi no ki?) that appears only once every fifty years.
Romance dawn isn’t considered canon, but it won’t be surprising if some stuff ends up being the same
Yeah but in a way that is just different enough to be difficult to guess; it's impossible to tell what ideas Oda has fully kept in the pocket or changed along the way, or what he totally disregards now.

I think blackbeard ate the devil fruit of the devil, a mythological zoan
So that's why he can eat other fruits, because he is the devil of the devil fruit that is supposed to kill you
And if he didn't eat any other fruit in the meantime it's to hide the real identity of his fruit to the gorosei
Mmm idk that’s not like within the rule set of the a zoan tho. No stat bumps or nothing
If inherited wills exist. Is the will spread among many people or does one person inherit the will of another. Which could be akin to how one person gets a devil fruit. But what if sabo didnt inherit aces will from the fruit or something.i wonder if yamamoto could of inherited his will. So it be similar to ace joining the crew. So it be luffy finally getting to sail with ace.
If luffy true power is limited his imagination would it be possible for him to use other peoples devil fruits to some degree. I was wondering about that due to him always coming up with creative ways to fight as well as mimicking people for gags but if he combines the two of those abilities could be unstoppable.
A theory abt the truth of luffys df and how it's related to the one piece :
Joyboy 800 years ago was in a war against imu , the ancient kingdom fell , and joyboy lost the fight , before that , he wrote sth , probably a poneglyf in laughtale , basically he was talking Abt how the ancient kingdom was , and laughtale is actually the ancient kingdom , or the remaining parts of the ancient kingdom, that's the one piece, it's the ancient kingdom and the true history of the world, by knowing that , the first step of turning the world upside down , turning the world from a corrupted world to a peaceful world , so ye . Back to the joyboy and imu fight , man lost and got turned into a df , imu made some sort of a spell , or man has some sort of a power , so ye since then " that df hasn't been awakened" just like the gorosei said , not because it's been used before no , it's because when joyboy got turned into a df , no one ever used it , and they say , zoan fruits have their own mind , so probably zoan fruits were actually alive back then , ofc not the normal ones , but atleast the legendary ones, so ye back to joyboy. Since Luffy ate the Nika df (basically joyboy) he inherited his will , it's just like joyboy telling to go that road , it ain't "fate like ppl says" it's basically joyboy affecting on luffys will , and when Luffy goes to laughtale and read that missage , probably the full capacity of joyboy will be awakened , when Luffy reads what joyboy said , something inside him will move , emotions and things he will remember Abt it , man will see the ancient kingdom but Luffy feels it's familiar ( joyboy's memories) , so ye probably he will "free" ( op talked Abt Freedom alot) joyboy's full capacity , or him as a person , the op ain't gonna be sth like "eating the sun" or a portal , it's basically sth that we've already known and it's the ancient kingdom and the remaining parts of the void century.
Ayo don’t talk about that here
Aight
Thankfully I didn't say what it is
nice one
I did wonder if the fruit does have a will of its own is it possible that kid luffy heard it talking with him and thats why he ate it with shanks at the bar.
On another note its a weird idea that if what you said is true and the fruit gave luffy its will to be free. By that way it could be viewed as luffy isnt free due to the fruit saying what he wants.
I find it interesting , cuz man wants to be the pirate king , and the pirate king is the freest man alive , so why would he wish to be that when he is already free ?
Yeah i find it interesting myself. im just taking a philosophical view over the whole thing. Did luffy want to be the most free before the fruit or has the fruit altered his will and thats what the fruit wants. Kind of what came first the chicken or the egg Lol. Like before he ate the fruit he just wanted to join shanks crew and have a good time but i think he didnt announce he wanted to be pirate king til after he had eaten the fruit. I just cant wait til what ever happens happens. Its so exciting!
Yep fr , the final saga gonna be a really interesting one
Ic ic
I think it's less in a literal manner and more on a spiritual manner.
Also, on Luffy being able to use other DFs, I doubt it, but Awakening may help him use abilities from people with similar abilities to his (like how G4's elastically charged strikes are similar to Bellamy's wind-up spring punches) like Bellamy or Katakuri by using his surroundings to his advantage. I mean, he already replicated the Giants and Enel (except he just rubberized a thunder to grab it and use it instead of producing actual electricity).
I think it would be less straight up using others' DF abilities and more him being able to replicate them by using his Awakening to do wacky stuff to mimick them.
I think it's important to make a distinction:
Nika /=/ Joyboy.
Nika is the name of the Sun God deity (original to One Piece), while Joyboy seems to be a title attributed to an individual whose name is unknown that has existed during the Void Century.
Though, there is a part of this theory I wanna adress. I, myself, have thought that the D. Clan may have been people with natural powers from DF and after they where defeated, they were imprisoned in fruits and forced to live within a human host, giving them their powers until the host dies and are forced to be reincarnated into another fruit.
I think that it could be argued that the original Joyboy ate the Nika Fruit as well. And while Zunesha says "JoyBoy has returned." it is obvious that (he? she?) the elephant means that someone has appeared that has taken the mantle. It may be that both the original Joyboy and Luffy had the Nika Fruit.
Yep thats possible too
kinemons fruit gives him luck thats why hes still alive
