well shit thats kind of underwhelming, oh well🤷♂️
It was well thought out tho, good try!
Shanks made also buggy to eat the df
Maybe every D. Is a ancestor of a member of Joyboys Crew. That would explain that there are multiple races with a D in the name.
Shanks didn’t make Buggy do anything. Buggy deceived the entire crew and out of fear of being caught, he accidentally ate it. Shanks simply told Buggy what he learned and gave Buggy the freedom to make his own choices
What if Greenbull has Mythical devil fruit and its the same devil fruit who created the sunlight eve tree ?!
Any known theories of Big News Morgans being Imu Sama yet?
why?
Here it says there is relation between Blackbeard and Rocks.

Does anyone else think blackbeard will be after Luffys Hito Hito no mi Model: Nika since he overpowered Kaido with it and the Gorosei mentioned that it has the most ridiculous power because of it's freedom? Like if he was going after it I feel like he might pull something dirty
I doubt it. He had hella time where he could have killed Luffy and taken it
Idk general consensus is that he has considerably the most powerful fruit of both the Paramecia and Logia types, so it would make sense that he would find the most powerful Zoan type which may be the Nika fruit
It’s possible he however he only recently found about it was nika and now he wants to steal it
Yea but he’s not gonna get it like. If he did Luffy would die
I mean for plot reasons no he wouldn't die but bb sure will try, and then again luffy has Ryuo and blackbeard feels more pain. So uh Gear 5th + Ryuo infused gattling
Mostly I'm probably blindfolded and shooting in the dark with this theory of mine
Long one incoming, I humbly request no messages here for a couple minutes please ! Thanks !
~Pluton is a construction ship~
Pluton is a land displacement machine. It is a ship with the ability to remove land from somewhere and take it to somewhere else.
We know little about Pluton, but what we do know for a fact is that it has extreme destructive power. I propose that this destructive power is not the purpose of Pluton by itself ; rather, it's part of the larger process of deconstructing landmass, storing it, transporting it and reconstructing it in a new location.
1. Without a trace
Pluton is introduced by Crocodile in Arabasta. According to him, using the weapon once is enough to blow away an entire island without a trace.
Despite Pluton representing major stakes for two entire arcs of One Piece, this statement by Crocodile is actually the only time we ever hear about what the weapon does. We don't know anything about why it was created, whether or not it's ever been used, and how.
Therefore, I think we should not jump to the conclusion that Pluton is a weapon made for the purpose of war, military rule, or destruction in general. That notion is, as far as we know, only the version pushed by the World Government.
Let's just look at the information on the most basic, literal level possible : Pluton is something that can make an island disappear.
Knowing that, I am proposing an alternate interpretation from the one typically thought to be true : Pluton is not a weapon of war, it is a tool for very large scale land remodelling.
The reason why there is no trace of an island that is targeted by Pluton, is because Pluton doesn't just destroy the island, it takes it away entirely.
2. The weapon is a ship
So when we first hear about Pluton, and think of it as exclusively a weapon, we start to imagine some sort of huge gun or cannon that could be fired at a target.
However, in Water 7, we learn that Pluton is a ship. Iceburg explains in greater detail that Pluton was built by "naval engineers".
So now, of course, maybe Pluton is simply a ship that is equipped with terrifyingly powerful weaponry. But that doesn't sit quite right with me. I think the importance of Pluton relies not in any of its parts, its equipment or its materials, but in its design.
The plot of Water 7 revolves around the blueprints to Pluton. The engineers who built the first Pluton left blueprints to it, so that it would be possible to build a second one if the need ever arises. We'll talk about the "need" part in a second.
But the fact that the blueprints have been held onto, without fail, by shipwrights, to me implies that you absolutely need to be a proper shipwright in order to build it. Meaning, these blueprints can only be used to build a ship. An entire ship, not parts of it.
Now think about this. Let's say the power of Pluton resides in its mega-powerful laser-beam cannon. Then, by knowing just how to make that cannon, you would essentially have Pluton in your hands already. Wanna go fight the original Pluton at sea ? Or wanna go rule the world with fear ? Just put the cannon on a ship and you're good. Having the mega-powerful laser-beam technology would be just as good as having the blueprints to the entire Pluton.
But no, the blueprints to the entire Pluton are what was passed down. And you have to be a shipwright to use them. In other words, nothing short of the entire Pluton ship will do.
Now about that "opposing force" business. The blueprints are supposed to be used in the event that the existing Pluton falls into the wrong hands. I propose that the role of the second Pluton is not to destroy the first one, but to cancel out its actions.
If "Pluton 1" is used, either by some tyrant or by an ill-advised idiot, to say destroy some islands, then "Pluton 2" will allow you to take the land right back to where it was. It won't rebuild countries by itself or anything, but it will be enough to undo the planet-level damage that was done.
Now. Where does this idea of displacing land even come from ? That would be from Wano Country, of course.
3. Wano Country
You may already agree that the map of Wano looks very unnatural.
The regions of Wano are separated by rivers that run from one coast to the other with no apparent source. All the regions have their own separate climate and seasons, a phenomenon that is very typical of islands of the Grand Line.
The entire land of Wano really just looks like a bunch of smaller islands pieced together.
Not only that, but Wano has very suspicious "natural" borders which, along with the mountain-like formation, happen to make Wano a perfect fortress and prefectly complement the isolationist policy of the country.
And we know this policy was started by the Kozuki clan 800 years ago in order to protect Wano from an exterior force. It only makes sense that the physical borders were built together with the political ones.
As long as it's physically possible, that is. Well, you'll never guess what the Kozuki have been holding on to ?
I believe that the land of Wano was created using Pluton, from six originally different islands (possibly more).
This would have been the result of some form of alliance between the residents of the islands, where they agreed to merge all of their lands together to form one country ("Wano Country" ? Get it ?).
These people, 800 years ago, made the decision to transform the shape of their respective homes completely and make it this extremely hard to attack, fortress-like shape in order to defend against a certain enemy.
Note that it doesn't have to be completely unrelated islands that randomly decided to get together. Wano might have been an archipelago of islands that were relatively close and shared the same culture already. That's what Japan is, after all.
This would also mean that Toki's parents, who were said to be "from Wano", were probably born in one of the original islands (probably Kuri, by process of elimination). They were aware of the land transformation process, and they told their daughter about the country that they had never been to (might have not even existed yet), but that they knew was their true home.
Then when Toki started her journey looking for Wano, she might have been looking not just for a geographical location, but also for a time when Wano would exist.
This makes Wano an example of Ancient Weapon Pluton being used not as a weapon of mass destruction but as a construction machine.
The point is essentially made now. I believe I've shown why I think Pluton isn't quite a battleship but a "construction" ship. You can stop reading now. If you're not interested in wild and scope-breaking speculation about the One Piece world based on this idea of Pluton, that is.
Now..... I wonder if we could go a little further and find a second example ?
4. Literally the whole world
As it turns out, if I had a nickel for every landmass in the One Piece world that's made of several islands with separates climates stuck together, I'd have two nickels. That's right, it's the Red Line.
The Red Line is unambiguously stated to be composed of smaller islands assembled together. That's despite looking nothing like a collection of islands in terms of shape : it's all cliffs, and (from what it seems so far) perfectly flat at the top.
Add the fact that it circles around the entire world in a straight line. It really is a very unnaturally shaped continent. I see only one explanation for this !
I believe the Red Line is a Pluton construction as well. It might have been made during the Void Century, or earlier. This would mean that there once was much more land in the world, maybe even large continents, that got all used for the construction of the Red Line. As for who would have done this and why, I could not say.
What I would say, though, is this : I believe the other two Ancient Weapons were also involved in similar world-shaping work.
The One Piece world, however crazy it is, features three great "anomalies" that really shouldn't naturally exist : the Red Line, the Grand Line and the Calm Belt.
Each of the three Ancient Weapons bears the name of a god that is associated with a certain domain of the world, which can in turn be associated with one of the three anomalies :
- Pluton, God of the Underworld - the underground - power to shape the earth - the Red Line, a continent that shouldn't exist
- Poseidon, God of the Sea - the sea - power to command Sea Kings - the Calm Belt, a stretch of the sea with an extremely dense population of Sea Kings
- Uranus, "God" of the Sky - the sky - ??????? - the Grand Line
Obviously the Uranus one has yet to be fulfilled and is therefore pure speculation going beyond the purpose of this post. Though I will say there are quite a few theories about Uranus having to do with the weather, and the weather is certainly a big part of what makes the Grand Line unique.
Anyway, that's the end of this theory. I've had most of this down for some time, but the latest reveals made the theory a lot stronger by providing a suddenly very strong connection between Pluton and Wano. Can't wait to learn the truth about Pluton in 5 years ! Thanks for reading !
This theory deserves a pin
The pluton theory makes sense cause of mismatched land in wano like you stated but also the missing eye of the skull in jaya
It could also be said about enies lobby how weirdly built the layout of it is.
Amazing theory.
The reason why there is no trace of an island that is targeted by Pluton, is because Pluton doesn't just destroy the island, it takes it away entirely.
This could be applied to Laugh Tale as well. Perhaps the reason why its so difficult to find that last island is because it was taken away by Pluton and put somewhere else?
@gloomy canyon pin this theory please
Okay, but Salma, how do you think that it moves the islands? Do you think pluton is just so big that it can store it? Or what? Because the evidence you're using is good but the feasibility is kinda.. not there
Thanks ! I guess it could, though to me the mystery of Laugh Tale is more specifically about it being impossible to find at all, rather than not being where it should be ? But could be something.
So obviously I don't have a clear idea of how Pluton works in detail. But I don't see this as a problem necessarily ! After all, knowing what Pluton looks like is what the blueprints are for ? But ima make something on paint be ready to be amazed
I like that one too
This is a cool theory. Do you have ideas about how exactly it moves and repurposes land? Like terraforming or like using some laser that teleports it away lol
So what I've got in my head is something like this ? And it spits it back out in the reconstruction phase
But even if the theory is right, I absolutely do not expect it to remotely look like this (even ignoring the slight discrepancy in art quality) or anything I can ever come up with. I'm only about the general idea here !
There's also the "continent puller" variant. It just pulls islands. Has the advantage that the idea is already present in the manga, but it doesn't work for the Red Line or the borders of Wano anymore, since they don't look like islands at all
Yo I saw this cool theory about why buggy is a yonko
There was this 1 guy saying
"Buggy looks like a joker/clown. Clown makes people laugh by acting dumb.
Buggy acts funny (not revealing his true nature).
I think ppl over do how strong or smart buggy is. Like every time he could run he has. Every achievement he has done has been through pure luck
he actually has decent engineering skills
Our pluton theories are pretty similar but have some pretty big core disagreements. I will start with where we agree and then get into where we disagree.
Where we agree
- Similar to how Robin is not a devil, scholars were not devils, Ohara should not have been destroyed, Ace was not evil and deserving of public execution, and a wealth of other things, I think there is a great deal of "matter of perspective" as it pertains to the ancient weapons.
Shirahoshi's power has purely been used for ethical purposes so far. I can think of a million uses for Poseiden's power which would greatly benefit the world. I think its entirely conceivable that all 3 ancient "weapons" can be used for both good and bad.
- I think Pluton has been used to move islands in the same way the Knock Up Stream relocated a portion of Jaya. One thing that is important to note is that a stream of water could not relocate an island unless the island was disconnected from the sea floor. How could the knock up stream shoot jaya up without having a water path? I think many of the islands on the planet are floating pieces of rock rather than the result of volcanoes erupting on the sea floor like we commonly think of on earth
More broadly, I think people need to pay more attention to the knock up stream making a portion of jaya vanish and what that means for how islands form in one piece as a whole. Pieces from an exploding planet have always felt like one of the more obvious reasons, but who knows. Regardless, I will continue to yell about floating islands until the end of time.
-
Pluton is clearly a ship and people need to just let it be a ship. The bit about it being constructed on water7 is conclusive. Pluton is a ship.
-
Pluton needs to be built in its entirety in order for is to properly function. You can't just build a giant laser beam.
-
Wano was constructed. All of the components were from different regions shoved together to form one giant fortress. Multiple islands were used to form one giant fortress, and that is why the weather is so weird.
-
Toki was from a pre-wano country. I think she knew that Wano would eventually be a thing, and she was told to go forward in time to where it was going to be.
-
The Red Line is artificially created. That panel with Nami saying it is made of other islands is one I had not remembered. It is hard to imagine how it was made, but I agree it was made.
-
The basic idea that each of the 3 gods were responsible for 1 of the 3 very weird things about the planet is really good. I had not thought of that before. One of the big questions is: If Pluton created the red line, why is Wano comparatively so much smaller and such a lower elevation? I am not convinced Wano and the red line were made through the same mechanisms
Where we disagree
- I think Pluton functions by having a man-made version of the knock-up stream rather than deconstructing and then reconstructing an island. First of all, the fact that you need to destroy an island before recreating it has some major logistical issues. All buildings and whatnot would be destroyed in the process of moving the island. All you really retain is the material. That is why I think Pluton is able to move entire islands as a whole rather than piece by piece.
As per my theory here: #manga-theories message Wano is the birth place of all of the material that created the white sea. Mt Fuji's eruptions ended up creating each layer (highest level first, lowest level last) from eruptions throughout time. The knock up stream was able to save a portion of Jaya from the happenings of the white sea by shooting it into the white sea. That is why Skypiea was able to retain technology that was lost in the blue sea and remain militarily unreachable. The "speedy shrimp" prevent any military from actually conquering the white sea from the blue sea, such as Skypiea. So you could argue that the combination of Fuji and the knock up stream ends up creating an area which is unreachable from the blue sea.
I would like to quickly point out that I believe this is how the ancient kingdom vanished. They just peaced out and went to live in an unreachably high part of the white sea.
I think Pluton can shoot an island into the sky or it can move an island sideways, destroying it.
- Zunesha being key to "opening Wano" and Oars being a "continent puller" both feel extremely relevant to how Wano was created and I have a hard time imagine how Wano being a giant fortress made by Pluton would be reformed using Zunesha. One possibility is that Pluton is under one of the components of Wano and Zunesha needs to lift it up in order for someone to retrieve Pluton. Or, since I think a lot of islands are floating, it could be that Pluton is under Wano. Zunesha being key to opening Wano also being a part of uncovering Pluton makes sense. But the part about Oars being a continent puller and Onigashima being basically the shape of Oars head makes me think Oars was a part of building Wano rather than Pluton constructing it from raw material. Mt Fuji is the center of Wano, and my theory has been that Wano was built the way it was to protect Fuji, so that it can create the next stage of the white sea and usher in a new age. And I suppose Pluton building the fortress around Wano makes sense. I am just still having a hard time with seeing how Wano would be constructed in the same way the red line was while Wano being so distinctly different.
You had me up until the Jaya part

A very novel Theory!
I would only add that the main thing that seems to distinguish the grand line from the rest of the four oceans is its climate and its magnetic fields being unique to each island
Therefore Uranus as an ancient weapon could be akin to Kidd's devil fruit only on a massive scale, with the ability to bequeath land with its own magnetic fields.
Actually, before 1053, I was more confident about Pluton -> Red Line than Pluton -> Wano, mostly because of the "3 anomalies of the world" pattern.
If we agree that the Red Line is manmade, then whatever method was used is surely worthy of the title of "Ancient Weapon that can destroy the world". Doesn't mean that it's Pluton, but if we follow the gods naming pattern Pluton is the best fit. My theory is here to make that work with what we do know about Pluton.
Now the question is whether or not it's the same thing that happened for the Red Line and for Wano.
Scale is certainly a difference, but I don't see why we couldn't have something that operates on various scales. I don't even think it's that bad ? Wano is what, half the height of the Red Line maybe ? Definitely in this order of magnitude.
Then there's landscape. The Red Line looks like nothing at all while Wano looks like a real place. Fine, but you can't say the regions of Wano look like islands much. These perfectly straight borders make Wano look like Africa. That's why I have no problem imagining that they were reconstructed there. Then there would be some reason why Wano has luxurious fauna and flora while the Red Line is just red. With Ryokugyu on the table I can think of one.
About Zunesha, my current idea is that she either smashes the barrier to bits, or drains the water out. I don't think Pluton is supposed to serve in opening the borders, since the opening process is apparently known to the Five Elders. I don't think Zunesha had to be involved in the construction of Wano as well, though she could have been, maybe pouring water to fill the inner sea, or temporarily accommodating the residents ?
Mod (I dont use the server much so im not familiar with the regulations) I plugged a link to my reddit theory earlier and was told not to spam it, but that I could post it here, is that okay?
Agree with the Pluton take. But I think Zunesha specifically came to Wano to help in opening the borders
And was involved in the closing
Thanks !
I think you can post your theory, especially if it's yours
Okay will do
The thing I don't like as much about this idea is that it doesn't have anything to do with the sky, and that's supposed (I think) to be the case for Uranus.
However it's stated at some point that the unpredictable weather is caused by the magnetic fields of the islands, so this does work pretty well
Nope, i think im blocked from posting the link, and got slowed chatted for even trying
You can always write it down here I guess
(slow mode is for everyone)
I have a bounty prediction for Buggy based on Kanji interpretation and number association. I can't post the link but you can search for:
"DON'T READ IF YOU ARE NOT CAUGHT UP TO 1053: PREDICTION FOR SOMEONES HEAD reddit"
And it'll be the first result.

Again, my bad. I don't usually use discord and I forget the restrictions. Sorry.
I'm just excited because I twitted it to Yuderon and he liked it.
On Oars I don't have anything. Though since we're talking about a probable ancestor of Oars, not the one that was known as the Continent puller, the connection isn't that strong. But I agree the theory would be better if there was some Oars in it. If Wano is artificial, the story of that skull has to be tied to it
Saw this one theory that the missing part of the "eye" in Jaya is perhaps laugh tale any thoughts?
A theory on how Shanks got the title of emperor is that there was originally 3 emperors and the wg thought he had the Nika fruit even though it was with Luffy. Also the fact that he was probably climbing the pirate ranks very quickly and had the pedigree being on rogers crew
So everyone is eating food that hasn't been thoroughly checked for poison (except patient and polite Jinbe). People will likely get sick, classic Oda humor. GB will arrive and start draining everyone and accidentally poison himself.
It might even go as far as Luffy thanking GB for helping everyone with a big ol' grin.
Not during banquets. I think GB will get attracted to the girls there and get drunk while destroying guys as a gag.
A missing eye to me sounds like a reason to get an eyepatch. Perhaps it could be laughtale, where someone gets a missing eye, and gets an eye patch fulfilling the eye patch character eos thing oda mentioned.
The theory regarding teach as xebec's son might be right if we go along the way Roger named his son to his sword, teach named his ship to his father xebec. :lunagalaxybrain:
I like the theory of BB being the child of Xebec.
can anyone make a theory of vegapunk?
I think BM got rewarded with kaidou' s df by gorosei for betraying rocks on God valley.
Or the entire fight was for that fruit.Bcoz it had connection with Joyboy.
Theory: Greenbull is a revolutionary army. He will give Luffy info about how to meet his dragon, and what happened to Sabo (perhaps sabo retrieval arc?). He will also make wano green again (common theory)
Greenbull seems too much of an akainu fanboy so i dont really see him being part of revolutionaries
Yep I thought he was going to be fujitora side, but looks more like akainu, what he did to king and queen without mercy is the example of it, fujitora sure just would have prisioned them
yall know how roger has that egg on his ship which might be uranus (ancient weapon that manupilates the weather), shiki was pointing to it during their standoff at sea and it was said how roger won because of a change in weather. Um nami weather egg ? so the one on rogeers ship could be a weather egg which changges the weather fitting uranus description
That could be a facade, cuz he would not want his cover to be blown up by The Beast Pirates
And he would definitely want akainu to favouritise him so that he can gain more power
feels like a stretch
why would he mumble about how much he loves Akainu to himself where no was going to hear him since he killed everyone there
To let the audience and readers know ig
still feels like a stretch
just accept that there is another evil Admiral
The possibility of him being a part of the revolutionary army is mild cuz we didn't get to see enough information required to jump to a conclusion
its also contradictory to existing scenes and evidence
The thing with greenbull, it can go either way -
He fights Luffy and co and gets defeated. The final saga will be full of action from the first chapter itself.
Or some new twist to his story. He will have small convo with Luffy after few panels of fight. He might have come to Wano to assess new emperor's strength. Kinda like first hand experience.
Luffy and gang could also escape
Hail mail theory:
Luffy and Rogers dreams were "I will be friends with evryone". If you are making the "huh?" face right now thats the face WB made when he heard it. So please give this theory a chance. Here are some supporting arguments.
- It is childish and ridiculous.
- It fits with both luffy and rogers characters. Roger would do anything to protect his friends and so would luffy. Luffy loves his friends more than food. Luffy fasted until sanji cooked for him saying he cant be king of the pirates without him.
- Luffy doesnt like wielding authority to relate to people. We can see this when luffy doesnt want to go through the alliance ceremony after dressrosa. So when luffy becomes pirate "king", his "subjects" will just be his friends.
Counterargument to this would be that luffy can't be friends with everyone because bad guys exist. I would reply that luffy is not very judgemental unless you hurt his friends. Luffy could have a dont hurt each other policy similar to WB's dont kill each other policy.
I think you are leaning too much on the Luffy side of things. Roger was in his 50's when we saw him declare his dream to WB and Oden, even if the ridiculous/childish part of it fits , it doesn't make sense that Roger was searching for the last island just so that he could be friends with everyone. His objectives don't correlate.
Also protecting your friends is not the same as being friends with everyone.
Anyway,
the way you structured your theory was nice tho, I liked the format.
But ultimately I disagree.
What if it was buggy
The theory of being friends with everyone I don't think so. We have seen people Luffy didn't want to be friends with.
It's BB, it's more than obvious he's trying to warn everyone he can about him
Duh, kinda. That's been the prevailing theory in the fandom since the chapter dropped, but until we know how buggy became yonko my proposed idea is just as reasonable I'd say. Shanks is trying to hype up buggy into the emperor position so that after kaido and bm are down he doesn't have to worry about other yonko interfering when he attacks BB
Buggy most definetely has weevil under his wing, and probably obtained Captain Johns Treasure (Which now that i think about it has potential to be a gag, BUT he used the name of Captain John to intimidate the WG)
Don't think this was Shanks hyping him, he could've gotten the position due to being a previous Roger Pirate so he may have a knowledgeable guess on the rough area of the One Piece. His Impel Down incident and even what he did in Marineford, also already being in the 7 Warlords he has enough of a backing without Shanks. Honestly it's a better theory by saying he was talking about Luffy, but he was def talking about BB.
It shouldn't be Blackbeard. Shanks warned Whitebeard about Blackbeard. If the plot is already 'Shanks is afraid of Blackbeard and trying to convince the powers of the world to stop him', hiding the name when he was talking to the Gorosei would be dumb
Luffy (Nika fruit) and Buggy are both plausible
WB considered Buggy because of the men following him. This is just the same pattern that result in him being yonko. Shanks have nothing to say in this, and what he said is probably about BB, to reinforce BB story. He already did that with WB.
What really happened at reverie:
Cobra got killed by the CP0 Agents
CP0 tried to eliminate Vivi aswell but she got saved by Sabo
Sabo had to kill Kuma to end his pain
Vivi ate the Nikyu Nikyu no mi and sent Sabo away
It could very well be buggy tho, which would explain the yonko status. This might have been necessary for Shanks’ plan to work
That's dark ^^
@balmy mica It sure can, I'd say 0.1% myself but to each their feelings
Somethings makes me wonder. Luffy's treasure is his hat right ? So if the one piece is Joy Boy's treasure, could it be that the one piece is the hat we see in marijoie ? Probably not right. Nvm
Vivi eating the Nikyu Nikyu no mi have sense cause her birthday is 29 december
2 9 = Nikyu Nikyu
The fighting style of the fruit is slapping, which fits her perfectly
What happened to vivi after that?
still have no idea. Maybe she teleported herself? Idk if that's possible tho
Kuma did self-repel a couple times
Something tells me that its likely that vivi gets the nikyu nikyu no mi. I remember a theory that explained what fruits the straw hats will get in which kuma’s fruit was included. I think it was yuderon who said that but I dont remember
Yep, the straw hats fruits are based on numbers. The remaining numbers are 2 and 9 which is Nikyu Nikyu
Yeah, vivi is technically still a straw hat so that could work
Actually, I think it was over with Luffy's fruit, the Ni Ka instead of Ni Kyu
Agree with the take
Her birthday is not Dec 29 but Feb 2
Where is the 9 from?
sorry thought Feb 9. my bad.
why would he talk about getting luffy's head for sakazuki san in private when he doesn't have to pretend then
he already turned udon into a forest so this isn't a theory anymore i can't believe how many people missed this panel lol
for reference
It makes sense it is bb. Like shanks has proven again and again he’s on Luffys side. Evil shanks is just not a good theory. And buggy is also a gag. Y’all are putting him on like a serious threat when he never has been he has always been a gag. Bb does make sense as he has 2 fruits now and he’s just became a yonko there has never been a better time then now to tell them be careful
Evil shanks theory holds as much ground as people saying Garp will be a bad guy in the end. Completely unbelievable theories and there's no argument to be had about it
Like I agree shanks is morally gray but to say he’s a bad guy nah bruh
we legit had internal dialogue with shanks about how he's worried for luffy post-war lol
When kaido was fighting Luffy he said whoever wins gets closer to becoming the pirates king .
If you think about it it's logical for Luffy cuz he's fighting a yonko . But for kaido it's not , he's only fighting a newbie pirate.
So it got me thinking does Luffy has that kaido wants ?
I personally think the straw hat is a type of key to laugh tale or someone like that
Well Luffy is a big obstacle. Like Luffy isn’t some newbie he has the 5th best crew in the world at the time
Like realistically thinking who’s above Luffy at the time the yonko and the wg. And Luffy and his alliance even pre g5 is a yonko tier threat
his opinion on luffy changed during the fight so when did he make that statement exactly? and in the beginning he was basically comparing his potential to people like roger, whitebeard and oden so no it's not like he completely disregarded him
Like if bm wasn’t there law kid and g4 Luffy would have take care of kaido
But if he defeated Luffy he would still be a yonko nothing more and nothing less , it won't get him closer to anything . Like you said Luffy was an obstacle . Imagine your in a journey and you find a big log in the middle of the log , dealing with that problem won't get you close to the end of the journey
Yea but there’s no one blocking his goals any more. It’s not about he gains it’s about what he could lose
Luffy is an actual rival of kaido. Perhaps not in power but as a threat of luffy succeeds that’s all his goals done for. Luffy is the hope of wano the antithesis of kaido in a way
I Don't remember I saw it in the road of laugh tale
But why choose the Word closer . The devil in the details
also kaido explicitly said he wants robin which is THE key to becoming the pirate king so if kaido wins he gets robin
It’s just thematic he’s closer to his goal as he does gain smth in Robin
Yeah this makes sens
I think that's because Kaido and Big Mom had just come up with a plan to get to the One Piece. If the alliance didn't stop them, they were gonna make it. So winning this battle was the last thing in their way, so to speak
@limber maple Please read the channel name and the description

HOLD UP, if buggy fruit is to split himself, his awakening might be to be able to split his surroundings. That means he can split and re-arrange the land we stand on. doesnt that make him an ancient weapon? since buggy always fails up, and Oda always trolls us with him, it could be that buggy has one of the strongest devil fruits that can re-arrange the planet
He could move the red line
Since Pluton is the Roman name for Hades from the underworld and its confirmed to be in wano
What about that hole kaido and big mum made when they fall down in chapter 1050?
Oda even showed a crack in the earth when they dropped through it.
Maybe pluton is hidden under wano and kaido + big Mom dropped into it 😅
What if one peice treasure is a big drum in which joyboy can only dance and its liberation sound will free the world from world goverment and red line being destroyed by its vibration and that's why Roger was saying im too early (coz he wasn't joyboy)
Ive seen this one from 333vil's latest video. Although Im not onboard it, I love how the theory is being presented.
True
Buggy said to Shanks that he wants to visit Laughtale to Shanks, so I believe all 4 yonko will be present at laughtale witnessing and accepting Luffy becomming king
Respectfully, I don't see that happening.
what part of it? Buggy being present at Laughtale?
I think the only ones on Laughtale will be BB, Luffy and their crews. But that's just my view.
in chapter 967 Shanks confirmed he wanted to visit Laughtale with Buggy together. You think he would go back on his words?
or did he mean he wants to go alone with his own crew?
Key word being "if", I don't think Shanks wants to go to LaughTale.
I'm too tired to discuss but thats just my headcanon. You don't have to agree, nor will you try to convince me lead to something.
Like I said, I respect the grind for theories, I just disagree with this one.
I kept wondering did just Kozuki Toki knew Luffy is similar as Gol D. Roger before they sent the Nine Red Scabbards to 20 years later as same time Luffy met Kin'emon and Momo?
This s ia little theory about buggy when he got his hands on the DF he never intend to eat it in the pirate world everyone looking to become strong as well DF is one of the biggest power up but given the fact Buggy was going to sell it instead of easting can be hint as he was already proficent Haki user as well confident in his own streangth as a pirate and also given the fact he was one of advance haki using crew both Buggy and Shank might be advance haki users in early age as well
Doesn't explain how silly he is the entire manga
Even got captured to impel down, cause he's a fodder for a time
I have to wonder if, possibly, Garp and SWORD help Luffy take down corrupt elements in the government and Marines (Especially Sakazuki).
Garp is a morally conscious man. He knows full and well that some people that are pirates are not really criminals, as they don't harm civilians or cause widespread destruction like some do. He also knows full well that the marines are not the tried and true organization that they claim to be, and the Paramount war was a prime example of this, where the Marines' arrogance and pride led them to destabilize the entire world's power balance just so they could get bragging rights for killing Whitebeard and Ace.
It would make sense that, in essence, Garp led or inspired the foundation of SWORD as a secret internal splinter organization of Marines who consisted of other morally conscious individuals, as well as those who were opposed to the ideals of absolute justice and the corruption in the Higher ranks of the Marines. We don't know for sure what exactly SWORD entails, but so far, the two members confirmed and shown are X-Drake and Coby, both of whom are more morally focused than most Marines and look past the labels of Pirate to judge a person on their actual character.
I'd like to imagine that, at some point just after Laugh Tale, Luffy ends up running into Garp and Fujitora, who explain that they've caught wind (thanks to Sabo and the Revolutionary Commanders' infiltration) of a more sinister plot that has been put into motion now that Luffy has reached Laugh Tale. The Exact details are left to speculation ofc, but whatever it is, it prompts Luffy to go to Mariejois and confront Im.
Once they reach Redport, however, they see Sakazuki there, as he had heard Straw Hat was coming (most likely from a CP agent in Fullalead/Beehive). This, ofc, prompts Luffy to fight Sakazuki to pass, leading to a long confrontation. And while Luffy's mastery of Haki is far above Sakazuki's, Sakazuki's power makes up for it in raw destructive ability. Before Luffy has to resort to Gear 5 though, Carp cuts in by slugging Sakazuki with the punch he'd been saving since the Paramount war. This, in turn, leads to Luffy AND Garp fighting Sakazuki and winning, since the two of them far surpass Sakazuki's power output, even as a walking volcano.
Ultimately we'll see how the final saga goes. I'm looking forward to seeing Greenbull's interaction with Luffy and I certainly hope that it's not an overly hostile one. I'd rather see Luffy tango with Blackbeard or some notable member of his crew and kick their ass in to solidify that he, or Wano for that matter, is Not To Be Screwed With.™️
Not Roger
Luffy is similar to joyboy
idk if this counts as a theory but feel Kaido and the commanders were based of the 4 horsemen
Kaido being war
King being death
Queen being Pestilence
and Jack being Famine

yeah, i disagree with evil shanks but im not sure if he would talk about bb with the gorosei, idk what new things he could tell them that they dont know
He knows bb prob more then the goresi do. Realistically the goresi don’t know about bb besides the fact he somehow can have multiple fruits. Shanks has had a whole rivalry with him since they were kids
im also thinking how shanks could be on either laugh tale or elbaf at this point, given the “scenery” when we saw him react to luffy’s 1.5B bounty, it looked like raftel without the effects or elbaf’s rocky part that we saw
Shanks will have a duel with luffy before taking the hat and luffy will end up losing his arm just like kid did. Shanks won't take the straw hat and say luffy to become more strong. That was the last time luffy saw shanks coz after it bb will kill shanks
I agree they will have a duel it’s been def built up that way. But I don’t think it’ll be like as enemies or like a deathmatch. Yea let’s hear the theory
someone here wants to hear my theory about devil fruits creation?
Let's hear it
What if God Valley IS Lodestar Island, just renamed? This isn't a Laugh Tale situation where it's possibly underwater, or at least not visible from the surface, hence you needing coordinates to find it. Lodestar Island is just the last island, and yet still Roger was the only one to find it in 800 years. Could this be because until 38 years ago in the God Valley incident, the island was simply named something else? The reason God Valley "no longer appears on a map" isn't because the island was destroyed or sunk, just because the name was changed to Lodestar. This fits with Rocks seeing God Valley as his "last big score" because he thought it was the final island, where the One Piece/Ancient Kingdom were, that he learned from the ponegliffs (which we know ex-Rocks crew must have read). We also know that God Valley was inhabited by the "Celestial Dragons and their slaves", and it makes sense that the final island (seemingly) of the Grand Line was under the rule of the government. In fact, just the fact that God Valley had been brought up as a taboo location like Sky Island, implies the Straw Hats are going there.
Roger got to Lodestar before God Valley happened
Send it my guy!
ah sry a friend of mine alr debunked it kind of
Damn, good effort tho!
thx :3
I have a theory in which i predicted Buggys bounty through Kanji number puns interpretations and if its right, It proves Buggy was meant to be a Yonko from the beggininng or at the very least it implies it
ooo ye i think he actually was cuz in a cover page he was shown standing alongsie bb shanks and luffy the current yonkos
Yeah but I think this solidifies it because Oda loves his number puns in yonkos.
Gotta cheat the slow mode: Send it YES
btw do u wanna see what my theory was ill just cut out the wrong part in it but its still not that good
I believe that upon the death of a sentient being that is not technically human or shouldn't actually exist as a sentient being (for example fire coming to life) becomes a fruit or makes the fruit its temporary host which in turn gives the power of the said sentient being to the host and lives in some part of their body where it can supply power to their entire body which could also be why when 2 fruits are eaten they kill the person as internal fighting among the creatures leads to the persons body getting destroyed from the inside and the creatures once again taking a fruit as a host . its also possible that the national treasure of mariejois is the creation of these sentient beings that are then killed for the creation of the devil fruits and strong fruits such as these are created and given to the admirals. it can also mean that some of these creatures are co-existent and that is why bb was able to consume 2 of those because there powers might be connected in some way. Edit: i made it cuz i didnt realize that creature that ceaser created i think it was called smiley alrd had a devil fruit
Yup, I was gonna say, but smiley...
It also sounded a lot lika Jabra (Sanji's enies lobby fight) described devil fruits in a way, so I to be completely honest I'm not a fan.
But then again, great effort, love me some theories
ye i didnt quite realize that when i thought of it
wanna see this one?
sure id love too sry im watching bleach rn so didnt see the msg
thats a really gud theory
I appreciate you
Any thoughts? Remarks?
Mixed feelings about Buggy? 😂
yes the theory was really good u put in effort and i liked it and honestly im happy about buggy being a yonko and i dont get why most ppl are so ignorant about it
they dont understand that to us as readers buggy is a goofy and quite a weak character but to the rest of the world he sailed the seas with the pirate king friends with a current yonko found a current yonko went up against whitebeards crew multiple times and fought at marineford + he found captain johns treasure
And defeated Luffy in Loguetown. Luffy only scaped because of a "lucky storm"
They might not know about that, imagine if they knew 😱
So has anyone caught up to the road to laugh tale? It feels like Oda's been throwing hints about Rocks Blackbeard connection and I'm honestly itching to figure that out, also the 3 islands mentioned might be the next path for SHs?
Probably not all of them.
One of my theories regarding this topic right now, is that the last road poneglyph is in Shanks possession in Elbaph (MrMorj video really convinced me)
And that Luffy might fight BB in LaughTale. OR The Last war will have a "three way" battle between:
BB pirates + fleet
vs
Strawhats pirates + fleet + allied nations
vs
World Goverment + Marines + SSG
The "grand prize" BB mentioned might be something that would trigger this 3 way war, it has to be uranus because marines would be involved in this if wasnt for such grand of a scale prize
Okay this is a loaded theory but hear me out, what if Joy Boy’s adventure log , was titled “laugh tale” explaining the joys of the world & explaining details on the void century , for the sake of inspiring/motivating people to explore & enjoy the world. BUT WHAT IF, the treasure that Roger found also included (maybee) Rocks D. Xebec’s ancestor’s adventure log, titled “Wrath Tale” leaving details on the history of ALL devils fruits & EVEN MORE details on the void century, just for the sake of supporting those who inherit their will.
For starters, the name "LaughTale" was given by Roger, so that doesn't click.
I think the One Piece is like a puzzle in which the pieces are the Ryo Poneglyphs stones (Blue ones)
It's been said that we need 9/30. And maybe, no matter which 9, if you have any 9 of them when either 9 are placed, the puzzle shows you in which order they should go, and line for line reading as a long horizontal "page" the void century is revealed.
I think we're gonna see 2 more yonko alliances causing a three way battle with luffy, black beard and world gov
But I wonder if luffy will ally with buggy or shanks, the evil shanks thing could be true
I highly doubt it... Perhaps Buggy will ally with Luffy to make people believe that he defeated Teach 😄 Shanks fate maybe is fall against Kurohigue as some people predicted
ZKK.
Edit: raid will fail too.
Nah I’d say they at least have some things to go off of. Shanks being evil is just dumb
Luffy literally defeated Kaido, got his own victory box, and some people kept sayin that the raid will still fail, what’s what makes it dumb, otherwise, in the past, it was possible
Ohhh you mean ppl still say the raid is gonna fail I thought you meant like before with like the near death Luffy stuff
Yup, when Luffy was dying , then yeah no, I’ll give them that
There was a multitude watching. That news spread really fast.
But they were East Blue "weakest sea" pirates back then, I doubt anyone remembers that BOTH were there, maybe Luffy because of his claim.
I kind of figured out whitebeard could’ve taken the road poneglyph back then (maybe inherited) and while it was in his territory he died to Blackbeard who now owns it. This to me it’s the most likely chance, especially because we have 0 idea about what shanks has been doing for the past 20 years
Also the thing about BB inheriting xebec’s will as a ‘chaos god’ is a bit strange considering they were both alive together while for example luffy and joyboy aren’t. BB is 40yo and xebec died 38 years ago.
My Theory on what happened with Vivi and Sabo. Please don’t start the is Vivia straw hat augment.
Do y’all think that when luffy dies, there will be another pirate king?
Or his and roger’s goal would be accomplished therefore the world not requiring another pirate king?
You’re misunderstanding Inherited Will. Think of Zeff and Sanji, or WB and Ace. It usually occurs through direct mentorship. There are also cases like Yamato, where he was inspired by Oden’s log. Something like that would make sense for Xebec and Teach. Or finally there could be some kind of intermediary, like in Luffy’s case. Luffy doesn’t know the first thing about Joyboy, he inherited the will along with the hat from Shanks, who got it from Roger, and presumably so on and so forth for the past 800 years. Inherited Will is like the original definition of a “meme”
What happened to Sabo. Vivi’s prison break and how Alabasta got buster called. Why Vivi will rejoin the crew.
Vivi is the only straw hat who’s reaction we never got when Ace died. We only saw her react to 3D2Y. However even though she stayed behind her loyalty and sheer faith in Luffy shouldn’t be questioned. She was perfectly ok with Robin joining because she trusted him. I believe it’s entirely possible Vivi wanted to take a ship to fight herself with an army however small when she learned about Ace. I believe when she learned Ace died abs she wasn’t there to help Luffy. After everything he did for her. She was probably devastated.
Now what does this have to do with Sabo. I believe Sabo was captured at Reverie. Likely held in the castle until he could be safely transferred. I think seeing Sabo. Luffy’s other brother in trouble caused Vivi to bust him out. While Vivi isn’t crazy powerful. She’s stronger than two years ago. Maybe physically stronger than Nami and Robin. So combine that with help from grand fleet members. Her status as a princess to trick guards and a bit of luck she breaks Sabo out. Perhaps a tontatta can steal the key. They manage to escape and someone asked Vivi why she did it. Wapol shouts it’s because she’s a straw hat and Vivi gets to say maybe even to Charlos Luffy will be pirate king. They get away. Sabo to thank Vivi for saving his life takes her Wano. Alabasta is buster called as a punishment. Her father is also killed.
But that’s just a theory a one piece theory so Oda will probably prove it wrong like he’ll prove yours wrong!
Vivi rescuing Sabo is a different theory than most. Vivi is clever, so it’s not entirely out of the question. I think you have the order of events just a bit out of order.
The revolutionaries made a big scene on day 4, but the nefertarj family remained out of trouble until afterwards. The cause of the second reverie incident is insinuated to be Cobra’s meddling. He died for being a traitor to the CD’s, not as punishment for his daughter. I could see Sabo and Vivi maybe working together in the aftermath, though, to escape Mariejoa
I have a bit of a Theory on Im, truth be told.
We can infer from context clues that the Ancient Kingdom went to war with an alliance of 20 nations that were the precursor to the World Government, but we don't really know why. Was it for power? Greed? Self Defense? We don't know. However, I'd like to propose the following:
Im is a former resident of the Ancient Kingdom. And not just any Resident, a former king or prince. He was deposed and exiled by the actual king, his father Joy Boy, from the kingdom due to his racist/bigot views (not unlike the Celestial Dragons) and for actions or atrocities he committed. Im sought revenge, but he was clever about it. He knew from his experience that other nations were somewhat wary of the Ancient Kingdom and its power. So he went to the nations he knew were most likely to be the most fearful and gained their trust.
At the same time, Joy Boy and the other members of the kingdom had decided to try and destroy part of the Red Line, to allow people from all seas to join together in peace and harmony, transforming the 4 Blues into the All Blue. They constructed a massive ship, which was named after its designer, the chief engineer and architect of the Ancient Kingdom: Pluton. Pluton would be sailed to the Red Line by help of Posideon and the Sea Kings, in exchange for a second sister ship being built that could carry the Ryugu Kingdom's people to the surface, which in turn was named after Pluton's son, Noah.
When Im found out about the Pluton, he realized he had the perfect scapegoat to rally the nations against the Ancient Kingdom. Claiming that the kingdom was building a massive battleship capable of wiping out whole islands, and that the Kingdom planned to wipe them out, the 20 Nations banded together in an alliance, Led and commanded by none other than Im himself. Soon after, war began.
[1/3]
Due to the fact that the majority of residents in the Ancient Kingdom were non-humans with great advantages over normal Humans, Im decided to create his own weapon to give the Alliance members the edge they needed. To that end, on God Valley, he chartered many great scientifically advanced nations, including Germa and the nation that would become Karakuri Island in what was known as Project Uranus. By combining the lineage factors of many different individuals and races with the seed of The Jewel Tree, Adam, Uranus created the Devil's Tree, Eve.
Im and other residents of the Ancient Kingdom were often born with supernatural abilities. Shapeshifters who could transform into ferocious beasts, Individuals who could command the power of nature, and beings who were born with unique powers that they could use to affect the world around them. Im also had such an ability, and an extremely powerful one at that, but we'll talk about that later.
Eve could, when exposed to the DNA of an individual who held a power, bear a fruit with the same power locked within it. By consuming the fruit, a normal person could then inherit that power and use it as if it were their own. Im Utilized this across the war, turning his enemy's strength into their own. By the end of the war, very few of the original ability holders remained.
Joy Boy, realizing the dire situation they were in, decided to then plan ahead. He commissioned members of the Kozuki Clan to create indestructible Stone Monoliths that recounted the history of the war, information about the Kingdom, and the locations of Pluton, Poseidon, and Uranus. He then entrusted stones to the members of nations who had been the closest and most loyal: The Ryugu Kingdom, Elbaf, Wano, and the Mink Tribe. (Elbaf's Road Poneglyph was given to Big Mom as a wedding gift for Lola before she ditched the wedding, and Shanks took the Ryugu Kingdom's Road Poneglyph with him to his territory to safeguard it.)
Joy Boy then had the remaining stones scattered across the globe with help from their remaining allies. This included, in secret, the Nefeltari family, who had come to regret their actions in the war. Joy Boy wrote an apology letter to be inscribed to Poseidon, and then left to confront Im. However, Im proved to be too much for Joy Boy to handle alone, and Joy Boy was defeated and mortally wounded, his blood being absorbed by Eve to make a new fruit bearing his power. However, Joy Boy warned Im (and took great delight in doing so) that there would be people who would one day strike him down, and that he would one day return through them, as the title of "Joy Boy" was granted to those who strived to bring others happiness. Im however took this warning with a grain of salt, as he was confident in his victory and revenge.
[2/3]
However, the death of Joy Boy, as well as the introduction of his powers into the Eve tree, had unforseen and unintended consequences for Im. The Tree began to produce its own fruits and powers, based off the originals but modified in varying ways, and when a Fruit-holder died, rather than the power returning to Eve, as it had originally, the power now freely respawned elsewhere in the nearest acceptable fruit vessel. Joy Boy had, inadvertedly, "Freed" the Devil Fruit from Im's control and released them into the world. Im tried desperately to retrieve Joy Boy's Fruit, but no matter what he did, he could not retrieve it. Joy Boy eternally eluded him.
Now, 800 years later, Joy Boy's prophecy had come true. He had returned, and in the form of a boy who was just as carefree and selfless as he had been. For Im, this meant that new measures would need to be taken.
Now as for Im's power, I have a fairly good idea as to what it is. A lot of you could guess he probably had the Youth Operation done, but I don't think so. I believe Ims power is what keeps him alive and young. As for what it is? It's simple.
Matter Manipulation.
Im has the ability to rewrite the structure of matter on an atomic scale. He can weaponize any surface, object, anything he touches. The 5 Elders don't challenge him because how could they, in the face of such an overwhelming ability? For all intents and purposes, Im is a god, not unlike Nika. It doesn't matter how many people they could rally, how many soldiers they could arm, or even what powers they could have themselves. Im could disassemble the entire Pangea castle with a flick of his wrist and put it back together like nothing happened.
So how do you fight an ability like that? Simple. Im's ability relies on concrete laws of physics and energy. Order and Control, if you will. And what power do we know is the exact opposite of that? Luffy's ability, ofc. Nika defies every natural law of physics and reality with his mere presence. He isn't bound by anything, and reality is what he wants it to be. Nika is Chaos and Freedom, the perfect antithesis to Im's Order and Control. Im will be the final antagonist of the series because it doesn't matter if Luffy beats Blackbeard or Akainu or the marines at large a 1000 times. Nothing changes for good if Im doesn't go down.
[3/3]
Very possible. I was working under the idea this would function as proof of Vivi’s loyalty after all this time. Plus she’s not just clever. Remember how she jumped out of that crows nest? Could Nami do that? Could Robin?!
It also works to prevent Vivi from returning with more Alabasta issues to cry about. Instead she’s returning to aid Luffy. Not ask for help.
I would wager they could, yeah. Vivi isn’t really known for her physicality, and I wouldn’t count on her acting as a combatant
I definitely wouldn’t either but I also wouldn’t rule out her having trained so she can fight besides her friends when she sees them again
I just really always found it strange Vivi didn’t even as far we know push her father to go to the war. Because Vivi Probably wanted to
Vivi’s whole character is about diplomacy, it just wouldn’t make sense. Especially when you factor in an intervention at Marineford would be an act of open rebellion that would endanger all of her people. It’s just not consistent with her values
I think my point she’s also super loyal to Luffy. She almost joined and trusts him totally. She’s a smart person and believes in diplomacy yes. But Nami is also a bit of a coward. That doesn’t mean Vivi wouldn’t go to the same insane lengths for one of her friends
She was willing to basically risk her entire nation anyway just to save Nami when she barley knew her. Vivi is just as crazy as her friends. Luffy wouldn’t have invited her if she wasn’t the kind of woman to lay down everything for a single friend
The important difference is that SHE would be willing to back up Luffy, but she wouldn’t drag her kingdom into MF. There’s a right place and time, and it’s coming
I’d think she may try in the moment and just be stopped. I can totally see a scene in a flashback of her trying to convince her father who is explaining she knows they can’t do that. But in the moment. She doesn’t care. Because Luffy needs help.
Tbf, Nami is, for all intents and purposes, a regular human being, as is Usopp. They're the only 2 normal humans on the crew, since they don't have devil fruit powers and they don't have any other superhuman abilities. They're cowards, yes, but that's because they're often in situations that warrant a large amount of fear in normal people. Vivi has nerves of steel due to her experience as a royal family member and diplomatic envoy for Alabasta, as well as her fighting experience during her time in Baroque Works.
I would find it highly probable that Vivi saves Sabo and the other commanders, but the Government spins it as a Kidnapping by the Revolutionaries and pin Cobra's death on them as well in order to save face. They wouldn't wipe out Alabasta with a Buster Call since the island itself isn't a threat to the WG.
They could wipe it out if a royal wanted it. Remember gods will and all
Well there won’t really be need for pirates most pirates are pirates now because of Roger’s execution telling them to go find his treasure the one piece , after that there won’t really be a meaning to being the PK even Luffy’s voyage will be over after defeating the WG. I mean there’s still gonna be bandits but that’s pretty much it
I mean I disagree. Pirates are mostly just criminals. They are going to keep existing as long as the earth is 90 percent water. Even pirates like luffy will exist because the new government won’t be giving everyone total freedom. Even in our world Luffy would find a nation like the USA super super unfree. Our government recently banned a group of people from doing something they might wish to do. It’s not political to say. Luffy would find that to be restrictive. Because someone has taken choice from him. Luffy doesn’t not kill because it’s a law. He could care less. He’s bound only by his values
Luffy’s idea of freedom seems to literally be he can do anything he wants at anytime. He can go anywhere at any point. He could take all the food from an entire island if he wanted. He’s actually a massive hypocrite
As long as the world exists as it’s does in the story now. Super powers and all that. There will be people who want that life. A life of absolute freedom to do anything they wish
We all know pirates will exit but again those will be bandits , pirates like luffy won’t exist no because they are looking for the one piece and idk how you think new gov will be oppressive when nika’s prophecy is literally to free the people dunno what you pictured but it’s wrong bro anyway It’s just a view
Because part of having a government is oppressive on some level. This story isn’t ending with the purge being a thing year round where people are totally free to just do fuck all. Anytime.
Just watched the latest Episode.
It got me thinking How Roger said it was too early for him.
Just an idea. the characters so far that seems to be connected to the mystery Momo and Shirahoshi both have access to Landscaping shaping ability.
lol what if One piece is not a treasure or a weapon but is revealed and achieved when Luffy (Nika) along with the 3 Ancient Weapons. Breaks the World Order (Govt) Destroy the Grand line and Connect All Seas for everyone to travel to become 1 Huge Ocean aka One Piece
Since Roger did not gain any treasure from the so called “One Piece” He feel bad because it was not during his time when he sees Everyone uniting and becoming free and one through Luffy’s Actions
Don't mind me, im just here to promote with no shame my theory that could imply Buggy was always meant to be a yonko 👆
Posting it once is enough, but we actually prefer you elaborate on the theory here.
Okay, will do. It just that I'd prefer it that the comment on it would be on the reddit post so that it could reach more people, cuz I'm actually quite happy about this one, and we will get confirmation if its true or not pretty soon. Thats why im spamming tbh. I twitted it to Yuderon, the Japanese Youtuber and he liked it 🙌 , so I have high hopes.
I have some minor theories about bounties for the Mihawk and Hancock with kanji number puns, is that okay to post here?
Bounties are better for one of the main manga channels, we're moving that out of this one since it's mostly idle speculation without any real support unfortunately
Even if it is based on Japanese Kanji number associated puns like all the yonkos do?
Yes even then, that's typically the only thing people really have for it honestly lol
Valid take, which channel should i use then? Gotta cheat the slow mode: Thank you Okama!
#manga or #also-manga generally for those, you'll have a better time with no slow mode as well
Why do u guys think the other straw hats don’t use haki specifically robin? She was with the revolutionary army and definitely could’ve learnt it
Maybe oda thought she’d get too powerful cuz the flower flower fruit with armament haki seems like a dangerous combination
I think that these 3(hancock,sabo, vivi) perhaps will team... I see more Vivi as one revolutionary than as Straw Hat or one of the Fleet Captains in this point.. She is not enough strong to join them. 😩 I think that is better have her working Undercover for the revolutionaries making her able to return to Arabasta than make her a Pirate with reward. She renounced to that 2 years ago.
Coby and Boa is too coincidental. 2 Luffy fans?
Plus Boa bring an Ex-slave with Coby wanting to change the marines?
I think they'll be too friendly when they meet but then when Coby finds out she's a CD and will maybe get sent back, this might put him a position of really wanting to change the marines more
Oda said something about that something would happen wit**h Boa, Vivi, Sabo **and... Perhaps Coby?? once.. Perhaps these 4 will ally for something? Or without matter that all are Luffy friends that is completely unlikely?
my theory is that kaido and big mom bodies will be taken by moria and he will let them join the Blackbeard crew making Blackbeard one of the strongest pirates
I don't think they'll die, but I can see Wano having a cover story.
BM and Kaidi escape. OR HEL, how do we know Kaido and Big mom haven't been sent off from that big fuck off explosion?
I think that Moriah will end in a prison(like kid with kaido) and that Moriah will save him now that Blackbeard Main crew is leaving
Since sky islands are made by a volcano, bm and kaido might be on a newly created one
Moriah did not joined Kaido because killed his men he will not join Blackbeard. I think that even Buggy has more chances to recruit him
Moriah can not continue in the NW without a Yonko "protection".
LOL I LIKE THE THEORY
Just having Pellona Buggy could make him enemies BEING NEGATIVE helping Buggy Pirates a lot... Moriah will even give him a Big Army of Zombies with shadows of powerful warriors. I think that it would not be stupid recruit him.. I am sure that the Marine Fleet that is attacking Buggy would still lose against THILLER BARK the biggest ship in teh world
Perona only knows that Moria's alive, she doesnt even know where he is. She's either searching for him or she's sticking with Mihawk
Hi guys, I have a theory and would like to bounce it with you guys.
We know Pluto is in wano, and we know that the ancient kingdom know it too 800 years ago when they wrote the poneglyph that is alabaster.
And we also know now that Kozuki sukiyaki knows its in wano aswell.
Now the theory part,I think Toki's time time devil fruit is Pluto.
toki needed to get to wano, she got there 20 years to early, but she had "no problem" dying, knowing that her devil fruit will regrow in wano. I think sukiyaki know where it is or how to find it, maybe that why he didnt join the raid.
In the flashback she said it was always her dream, and that her parents are from there, I believe it was her mission.
I just thought about that, maybe someone else brought it before me, but i would like to hear what you think.
I heard at russian manga site commentaries that japanese people say that "someone" fall down the stairs instead of saying suicide if they don't want to say it.
Is it true?
If this is true, maybe Kuina died in different way...
It's a theory that has been around for decades, I think I read somewhere that it isn't real, but I don't know japanese myself so don't take my word for it
Pluton is a warship constructed in water 7 and it's capable of destroying whole islands. How would Pluton be a time travel fruit? Secondly when the df user dies, the fruits power bonds to an another normal fruit anywhere in the world.
Oh right, now I feel stupid, totally forget the whole water7 arc.
Sad. I will try ask reddit, mb it have some japanese guys.
Edit: reddit auto-deleted post.
Edit2: it just was on moderation... now it's published.
Falling down stairs or tripping is a common lie subjects of domestic abuse use to explain their bruises and visible wounds. The whys and the hows of Kuinas death are pretty much meaningless because it's only a story element that gives Zoro his ambition
Thx
The news talked about MORIAH attack to Kurohigue island.. She should know where is him
and is Kurohigue MAIN CREW leaves that Island probably Pellona can use her skill and be able to save Moriah.
I agree with a lot of this and my big ole theory of the void century aligns well with yours. We know the Nefertari have some kind of big shame from the void century and we know they chose not to live in Marie Jois. I think that’s strong evidence that Imu manipulated or tricked people into allying against the AK and Alabasta didn’t realize it until it was too late. That’s why they distanced themselves from the celestial dragons.
I also agree it is likely that Imu was a part of the AK. My theory has been that Joyboy was the rightful king and Imu was jealous and he framed Joyboy and the AK for the death of a royal, who I am assuming is the previous Nefertari queen, who I think resembles Vivi.
I think the AK has technology comparable to modern times IRL. One piece of evidence is Luffy’s attack called Bazooka, Skypiea having bazookas in the White Sea, and Pudding’s power showing a film projector, which is a technology way beyond the current one piece world. I think Pluton was very advanced and was perhaps a part of what showed the world how dangerous the AK could be if they ever decided to stop being kind rulers. So then when Imu frames Joyboy for the death of the Nefertari queen, it was considered evidence the AK as led by Joyboy was too dangerous
This could be true. Toki is the only person we know of from the void century and she is only known to have a power, never specified as a fruit. I think powers were born or transferred differently during the void century. Since devil fruits have a will, one of my theories was that the AK were immortalized in devil fruits so that they could have their wills passed on. That’s why Luffy has a attack called Bazooka, even though he’s never seen a Bazooka.
Heres my alternative view on Imu’s power: the ability to control sea level #manga-theories message
And here is my theory on Joyboy leading the first pirate crew against Imu #manga-theories message
Thanks for posting the nice long theory. Looking forward to hearing your thoughts on my slightly different take
I also agree it is likely that Imu was a part of the AK.
Do you have a particular reason for thinking that ?
Overwhelming power that gives them complete rule over the planet and the fact that they seem to live in a very old place.
The fact that Alabasta did something that turned out to be a point of shame also makes me think they were manipulated to hand power to someone capable of using it and I think part of what makes Imu so powerful is that they have exclusive ability to use (blank)
I'm personally pretty confident that the point of contention between Arabasta and the other 19 was "what to do now that we've won"
Mostly for the reason I explained there : #manga-theories message
These don't indicate much regarding the AK to me ?
I'm on board with the flooding theory but I don't see anything related to Im's past.
The thing that’s interesting is that Nefertari doesn’t actually know what hat it is that is being hidden. I am not sure what chapter the panel is from, but he seems to believe a point of shame is being hidden. Rather than the Nefertari willingly participating in something they are ashamed of, I think it’s a lot more likely the shame came after the fact. Allying against the AK and then going back to help the Kozuki doesn’t make as much sense to me. It feels more likely that the Nefertari were tricked into betraying the AK and then later realizes what they did was shameful
If we assume the AK was rallied against because the world feared them, it to me implies some kind of amazing capability that meant the world was vulnerable to the AK. Imu seemingly having the world under his thumb makes me think they somehow came to obtain this power. I am making a leap to assume Imu Gaines that capability when the AK lost it, meaning he was alive back then and also knew how to get it
I am assuming it was something like Imu telling the Nerfertari: “my brother is evil and dangerous and I can help you defeat him” and tricked the world into giving Imu doomsday powers to flood the world
Pluton will prob detrimental to breaking down the Grandline?
Uranus will be something to Re shape the calm Belt
and Poseidon will be use to unite Mermaid Island to the rest of the world via Noah
making the whole world connected and free for everyone to explore.
and that is how Joy Boy will achieve One Piece
Yaknow what, I know BB said his fruit is a logia, BUT it honestly wouldn't shock me if he lied or didn't know, that his fruit was actually a mythical zoan.
Luffy was only able to transform via an awakening, why can't BB's
Maybe the zoan all this time was the one he's had.
Bbs logia is a strange one on top of that
Whats an Ak
Ancient Kingdom
Ohhhh thanks
It has properties of a logia fruit, but I think that he lied about its weakness. The fact that he cant turn into darkness and takes twice as much damage is more about his body since Marco said it was...strange
Ancient Kingdom
I think he can actually turn into darkness if everything is dark. That’s why he put the cloak over wb to use his fruit to the fullest. But as long as there is light he can’t. That’s why the fight between him and luffy will have a sequence in the dark and when the sun rises (the dawn) luffy will win
So, his power is basically similar to gacha gacha no mi?
Yes and no. The Gacha-Gacha no Mi combines objects together and creates things from them, but the objects themselves stay relatively intact. Im's power would be something akin to the Alchemy from [SERIES REDACTED], rearranging the atomic structure of matter itself. He could, for instance, take a chunk of metal, and instantly reform it into a sword, or any other weapon. He could produce spikes or spears out of the floor, or liquify it as a trap. The possibilities are endless. The only weakness is he has to be touching the object in some form to use his power. (He could affect a room, so long as he's touching one part of it, like the floor, but can't affect it if he's propelled into the air.)
He can disintegrate people by touching them, but the ability doesn't work on Logia abilities or Nika for that matter, the former due to their intangibility and the latter due to it's reality-bending nature.
It also requires a fair degree of chemistry and elemental knowledge, so objects that are made of unknown materials can be effective so long as Im doesn't figure out their makeup.
Vivi is a former straw hat. Tons of official stuff says this. She’s even on the YouTube banner with the crew. She’s more officially than Yamato. Two. Oda could just say she got a bit stronger.
vivi was training her conquerors haki before she could become a strawhat again i mean she is a princess
The thing about fictional stories is it’s fake. It’s made up. So if Bruce needs to break into Ron’s safe and steal his gold. But doesn’t know how to break a safe. George Rowling can just say since Bruce last appeared Katie taught him to break a safe..
Oda can just say she trained.
Aight, let’s talk about the devil fruit stealing thing that Blackbeard is doing.
I think he learned that all you need as a non-df-user to take someone’s fruit is to eat them, either when they just died or kill them by eating them.
It’s the same way big mom took the soul-soul fruit from mother caramel, it’s the reason Blackbeard covered whitebeard to literally eat part of wb, which he didn’t want the rest of the world to know.
The knife we see uhhh… I forgot his name, the commander from blackbeards crew that was in dressrosa, uses against sabo. it looks like a bens knife, classically poisoned with tranquilizer so they can kidnap and eat the person for their devil fruit.
It seems so straightforward it can’t be true but it’s the only way we know for certain to steal someone’s devil fruit without stealing the fruit itself after they die.
Perhaps.. Is not like I see Ussop crazily strong compared with her... Just with the correct weapons to fight 😄 Is the only that she needs.. But not sure if she will want to be a criminal.. Despite probably the situation(IM) will force her to that
I do not think that is a coincidence that Arabasta was attacked... Perhaps is because Kobra conversation with the Gorosei or another reason related with IM.. Attack Shirahoshi Poseidon in that moment was a bad idea with the island under Bigmom protection and Garp with them
Theory:Chopper is the forest God. This is due to the fact that the forest God(unsure of the real name) was an animal or was linked to animals and often created medicines to treat others(just like chopper). Also choppers fruit is Hito Hito no mi so what if it was a mythical model:God fruit just like the Model Nika?
Theory: luffy will go in the florian triangle and kill all the demons in there

Ok, so I think Luffy's Gear 5 wasn't his Awakening, it was his Beast form. He's been Awakened since Gear 3, but we didn't know.
His Normal Form is Base Luffy, his Hybrid form is Gear 3, and his Beast form is Gear 5.
I would guess that the versions of the Hito Hito no Mi, or the Man-Man Fruit, have multiple transformations beyond that of other Zoan Fruits, like Choppers Forms.
And yes, I think hes been able to subconciously manipulate items around him for a while.
I have a buncha reasons, I'll list them them from least to greatest in terms of supporting my theory.
-
Nami and Usopp:
Im not sure which part of the manga this was in, but i remember readding it for sure. There is a scene where all of the Straw Hats are referred to as monsters, after they were hit by a rocket or blast or something and all of them, including Nami and Usopp, just shrug it off. I feel like they've gotten stronger without training by a ridiculous amount (THIS IS BEFORE NEW WORLD) -
The whole crews regeneration is going off the charts. Even the strong ones. This is usually comedic, like Luffy and Bone-Kichi (Brook) regeneration bones and teeth, but i feel its worth it.
-
He has a Zoan Fruit, which they thought was a Paramythia, but his powers subconsiosly get stronger, like how Chopper used to Rampage.
This all only works if the Nika fruit ate the Gum-Gum fruit long ago, giving him Paramecia and Zoan Powers, cuz Zoans dont have powers in their base forms, but luffy does. AND he can use his powers in the ocean whilst unconsious,
I just thought of this so its a bit speculative
and bad
but yeah

Nah someone brought up a point where what Luffy is doing like pre gear4 isn’t like in tune with hybrids like he’s not adopting any new characteristics of his df
Ok, so I think Luffy's Gear 5 wasn't his Awakening, it was his Beast form. He's been Awakened since Gear 3, but we didn't know. (REVISED)
His Normal Form is Base Luffy, his Hybrid form is Gear 4, and his Beast form is yet to be revealed, because i think Gear 5 is not the fully mastered version. This is becasue he gained this power on the brink of death, and wasn't completely sure what it was, and had never trained with it before.
I would guess that the versions of the Hito Hito no Mi, or the Man-Man Fruit, have multiple transformations beyond that of other Zoan Fruits, like Choppers Forms.

The last yonko will be buggy, law, kid, and shanks prob
Law and Kid should increase their crews a lot to be worthy to be Yonko
Katakuri has more chances than these 2 having a Superbig family loyal to him and a lot of subbordinates that joined Bigmom in the last years and bigmom territories..
even Perospero does
It was said for that stupid girl who is his sister that most of his family adores katakuri so... Perospero would have to resign that Katakuri and others have higher bounties + are stronger than him and that he can not be the leader like this

wasn't there like a bazooka unit in Impel Down? and also the half dog half bazooka
I am thinking that after Wano the straw hat crew might split up. Don't know why yet, but we can assume Green Bull will have something to do with it.
- There are still too much islands that need to be visited before the end of the story. Elbaf, Pirate Island (Hachinosu), Lodestar island, Mary Geoise,...
- A lot of straw hats got a link with powers in the world. Robin => Revolutionary Army, Jinbe => Fishmen, Usopp => Elbaf, Sanji => Germa 66, I think/hope Zoro will get a link with Wano. And then we also have the Straw hat fleet somewhere. And maybe there is also a link with Shanks and Luffy.
- A lot of these links still need to be resolved in the story
- And we also have other loose ends that need to be resolved : Vivi, Sabo, Shanks, VegaPunk, Reverie, Imu, the ancient weapons, the remaining shichibukai, ...
- There are also the straw hats dreams. But I think those will only be resolved at the end of the story.
Anyway, we are already at the last arc and we still have a lot of open threads. A way we can resolve them all in one Arc is by having the Straw hats split up and have their own story leading up to a climax at Mary Geoise, where they all come together again.
My theory is that Green Bull give them a reason to rally the world, or at least their friends/ connections, against the WG.
Maybe he will take an important, non-Robin, person to Mary Geoise. For instance Luffy, Momonosuke or any other straw hat (less fan of that).
Or maybe he just delivers the news in some way that Sabo and Vivi are being held at Mary Geoise.
Don't really have a clear theory why, but the Straw hats will have a reason to split up to gather 'an army' and by doing so, closing some of the open threads.
Hope I am not stealing anybody's theory here. I didn't read everything here 🙂
please god no not again, we just got the boys back together for the first time since like the beginning of Dressrosa 😭
I don't really know where Blackbeard would fit in here. Maybe it will be Luffy's side story together with Shanks to take him on?
Also there is no way the straw hats are gonna be splitting up much, everything like encountering the red-haired pirates is something that would feel meaningless if the group wasn't together to do it, we're not at the last arc, but the last saga
We can't have a Laugh Tale arc if we don't finish an arc beforehand of acquiring the last road poneglyph, so there's simply no physical way we are in an outright final arc
They would all end up together at MG
But then we would have : Shanks arc, BB arc, Elbaf arc, Laugh Tale arc, Vegapunk arc, Revolutionary arc, ... That's a lot of arcs when they already announced the 'final arc'
Again, that's a thing because of translation, we're not at the literal final arc, but the final saga
It's likely that some of those will be mended together (shanks/bb(/elbaf?), vegapunk/revolutionaries), but we're not covering all of them at the same arc
Yeah, it would be better I guess. We are still not close to any ending of one piece then. 😅
Yeah I'd guess like 200-300 chapters at least XDD
I think no matter what, after Wano it will go
Last road poneglyph->Pirate fight(then getting the one piece and learning about the world government)->WG Fight after learning the truths of the world->epilogue
I do think some SH need more time to shine though. But I guess with Elbaf and Vegapunk and Revolutionary army most of the 'more ignored' SH will get their moment of glory.
Elbaf: Usopp
Vegapunk: Franky/Chopper
I feel like the rest of the strawhats have had big enough spotlights so I'm not concerned
Robin?
She gets all of the spotlight at the end because she reads the poneglyphs
Edit: And from what's been happening in the manga, potentially right freaking now too, since they've mentioned snagging robin and Sukiyaki revealed not only himself to her but that he knew her name and that he's guarding the poneglyph there, implying that he might know a lot more(and random crackpot theory, be connected to the wg)
Personally, I feel that Luffy needs to take down Blackbeard and prove himself worthy of the straw hat to Shanks before he reaches the One Piece, and that he needs to reach the One Piece before he starts his war on the government, as the understanding of the truth of the world is what will lead to the final revolution
We've also seen Shanks cry after Roger told him something(which was mentioned in Road to Laugh Tale 1), and that he personally went to the Gorosei to tell them about a certain person; what if, maybe, the truth has led Shanks to decide in keeping the status quo of the world, much like he did stopping the Marineford war? He could very well be an outright antagonist to Luffy even if he's not evil in the slightest, acting as a balance between Blackbeard and Luffy.
Pretty sure whenever it comes to Ussops highlight will be along with red pirates, he has to meet yassop (might be his dad), then maybe dad will teach him new techniques to go along with the grow curve that has been together with all the straw hat pirates, at this point we seen, franky, robin, zoro, luffy, sanji, jinbe, nami, chopper, the one thats left is ussop so I’m betting next path will be Ussops related grow, also they might be able to meet some red hair pirates. Pretty sure another Wano war will start before they leave Wano, green bull is either looking for solo meeting with 3 new yonkos, because he has a lead to the finale of one piece or he’s with some antagonist/révolutionnaire army
Not might, Yassop is Ussop's dad, that's 100% confirmed
I mean that’s kinda obv but then as I said ussop is the only one that hasn’t grow in terms of overall strenght
I think blackbeard will end up resurrecting someone, maybe even Rocks
first it was speculation that blackbeard inherited rocks' will, then we learnt more about rocks, we found out his goals of world domination, we don't know blackbeard's goals but it seems like they're similar, he's getting as strong as possible to be able to do that (two dfs, one piece, ancient weapon)
more proof of the inherited will is that his ship is called saber of xebec, i think blackbeard heard about rocks' legacy and joined WB to start his many-year plan, first by getting the yami, then orchestrating the marineford war, then getting wb's fruit
and now gecko moria is with blackbeard, that only means one thing to me tbh, it could be that, or maybe he could revive random strong ppl, i just think that oda purposefully hiding rocks' face from every backstory and every flashback means that the first time we see him truly will be him alive
could luffy be at least half lunarian? that would explain how he could use red hawk also dragon looks alot like the lunarians with his face tattoo and dark skin but he's missing the white hair
nah
unless being half lunarian means you just lose all relation to lunarians entirely
Is wano island pluton? Is mole port a precursor of the docking system? Is Mt Fuji a giant gao cannon capable of firing island destroying blasts. Is onigashima a skull of a giant that pulled the whole thing around? Is wano wealthy in gold because it was a "ship". How many secret caverns are below still to be filled in on the side view "schematic" of wano.
Red hawk isn't much different from any other character using fire somehow, and for that matter he doesn't produce fire like King. Dragon is also missing wings, which is pretty big, and if luffy were half lunarian, he'd also have white hair, dark skin, wings, fire on his back, the ability to summon fire, a strong body, etc
I feel like Sanji at least has some lunarian DNA within him, which would explain his diamble/ifrit jamble
if that were the case Judge would have reacted in some way to him using diable jambe, among other issues, so probably not. Diable jambe also just seems like oda giving random characters the ability to use fire to some extent
am Starting to have the feeling that dragon reached the one piece saw the history of the world government, had some idea he will be the father of the chosen one(luffy) and now he is waiting for luffy to awaken ? make it to one piece ?
Well Judge worked with Vegapunk and Ceasar before, and my problem with that argument is that only a few characters have fire related powers, that being Luffy,Sanji,Sabo,King and formerly Ace. Ace and Sabo both have/had mera mera no mi, King is a lunarian,Luffy can use red hawk and that's probably a homage to Ace and Sanji's power is the most mysterious one. I don't think it's that simple as "Oda gave him control over fire on a whim", there's gotta be a reason for it
Regardless of who he worked with, if he meant for sanji to have lunarian dna, he'd react to diable jambe.
There's way more than those you mentioned who have fire, kinemon can use fire, zoro could use fire even before learning firefox style, some random commander on WB's crew could use fire, etc
Firefox style is about cutting fire, also to my knowledge there are no commanders on WB's ship that can use it. Marco is a phoenix, Diamond Jozu,Vista,Izo,Oden and other commanders couldnt use it
And he's also perfectly capable of making fire with firefox style. As I said zoro could use fire even before learning this style, and one second
@stark path so yea WB commander with fire, and Kinemon just summoning fire
There's other characters as well, though I can't think of them off the top of my head, but that should get the idea across
what if the “ National Treasure” Doffy was talking about is a ancient weapon (Uranus) , I think the WG would have AT LEAST one ancient weapon & maybe it can only be controlled with the Ope Ope no mi which could be a big reason why Law devil fruit is worth more than all the yonkos bounties cause it’s needed for them to use the ancient weapon that they have in their possession 👀
A lot of OP characters are able to use fire, like Dofy can light his string on fire like a whip, Lucci can make a fire fly finger pistol.
operate the weapon maybe not
previous user was Drake's daddy which was a marine and defected becoming a pirate
Drake dad didn’t use the Ope Ope lol he was just selling it to the WG for 5 billion berries
oh yeah mb I misremembered
I sont remember this???
My bad nvm when on punk hazard be swapped there souls
I was totally serious 😭 😭 😭
yeah it was in Dressrosa when him & Law were fighting
Needs to be more than serious, which is the "Posts here must be in paragraph form, preferably with evidence, not just a one line open question." part
has anyone seen the joyboy video regarding pluton
whats wg?
World Government
Bruh. Aight
Im pretty sure Ifrit and Diable Jambe is Sanji's Germa powers coming out
Cuz queen was like "oh yeah this is ur germa elemental thing" and Sanji was like "hell no" but Sanji was confused too
Ifrit Jambe developed after he wore the Raid suit, and some more latent genes activated, so im pretty sure fire is his element thing from germa
im not completely sure, this is just my headcanon
His raid suit powers are invisibility and I think the fire is instead meant to be something of his own to show that he's grown past them
yea but the other germa folk had lightning abillites and such as well, so idk
Iirc Sanji talked about enhanced exoskeleton in combination with his haki that made ifrit jamble possible
Hi @gloomy canyon , may I get a pin for this Pluton theory ?
#manga-theories message
If the theory the imu is immortal is true i think that brook will become the next immortal ruler after luffys ideal world is fully fledged out, his name is literally soul king brook right?
as a Brook stan, i appreciate the shine on my mans, but idk, that seems a little bit too big for our skeleton bard
Yeah sure np 👍
good to go
I'll read it in a bit
Thanks ! I'll also mention here this additional point that was brought to me on Reddit :
So everyone is familiar with the prophecy that Fishman Island will one day be destroyed by the hands of Luffy. The most commonly accepted answer to this mystery is that the Red Line will be destroyed at some point using Pluton, and the island will be crushed by falling rubble, forcing the residents to flee using the Noah.
In the context of the construction ship theory, this scenario does not work, since Pluton can let us remove the Red Line without leaving any rubble.
But ! What does work and is even better, is this : Pluton will be used to move Fishman Island from its current location to the surface.
The island will technically be destroyed temporarily, hence the prophecy. And the Noah will be used to transport the residents.
Since the Noah is moved by Poseidon, this will mean at least two of the three Ancient Weapons will be involved in the emigration of Fishmen and Merfolk to the surface.
My big thing is: is Pluton really all that useful at moving stuff if it gets destroyed in the process?
If fishman island is deconstructed, all the buildings destroyed, what was the value of moving it up?
That is a problem, yes
I don't have a good answer. But I'm sure there could be a reason.
The fishfolk are gonna need some land for when they emigrate. Maybe they need to stay close to the Eve tree so that they can keep using bubbles, meaning they have to create themselves an island rather than settle on an existing one... and they decide or are forced to decide to use the same land they were using before ?
I suppose I feel like a lot of your theory still makes sense in a lot of ways if it isn’t a 3D printer of sorts. Wano having mountains and stuff makes it feel more likely that, assuming Pluton did the moving, Pluton is essentially a tug boat which can also use its facilities to destroy a planet. If Wano was in any way built by Pluton, it feels like it would be more Redline-like. But everything is very natural.
FMI being relocated and Wano being made into a fortress as an assembly of islands makes me confident there is some island transportation capability, but I am struggling to see a qualitative connection between the red line being built through the same mechanisms
But the big thing for me is the requirement that all mountains and buildings also be destroyed
I was hesitant on leaving out the deconstruction part, but I also can't imagine either Wano or the Red Line being made by only pulling islands without some amount of remodelling
The red line being 10 km tall and discontinuous makes me wonder if it is more so 2 or more planets being smashed together and the red line being a result of that smushing
Maybe if the whole mountain formation around Wano already existed, with say Mt Fuji already in the middle, and Pluton is something that could yank islands over the wall ?
But the borders between the regions of Wano are way too unnatural for this
Wdym discontinuous?
What do you all think One Piece is?
The separations for reaching each sea. It isn’t like a single blob. And it’s such a amorphous blob
It's not really discontinuous, reverse mountain just has water going up it
It's basically continuous. Reverse Mountain is obviously carved in I think
And remarkably as well, it's pretty much a perfect circle. A continent could make a loop around the planet without being straight like that
The one piece of music that speaks to all things. Played at a party for the whole world
If we assume my Fuji theory (Wano built around Fuji to protect Fuji), I think it’s possible they could have built all of Wano from a big blob of distinct weather regions over the course of 800 years
But I think we must conclude that even if the rest of Wano was man made, Fuji was not
I remember reading a theory that Wano was brought together by the Ancient Giants, they had to get the continent puller name from somewhere
Right now giants and Zunesha teaming up to build Wano while Pluton built the red line feels more likely to me. We know Zunesha is necessary for opening Wano
One thing I definitely think is worth thinking about, Salmy, is the panel showing the red line is weather diverse just like Wano. It being an assembly of what used to be islands feels very strong to me
How big do u think Pluton would be if it’s role is to pull islands? If it’s supposed to be bigger than let’s say the islands of Wano for starter it’d be quiet hard to hide. Or do u think it’ll have some sort of ability like how Kaido or Shiki can lift up an island.
That's what I think as well. Red line, similarly to Wano was pulled or made together by something, that something being pluton
I only have 1 problem with the Sabo being alive theory, is that why would Dadan react like he died? The argument against this is Oda wouldn’t kill a character like Sabo offscreen, but it’s logical that we don’t split wano into 2 arcs with what happened @ the reverie inbetween the 2 arcs.
I think either Sabo is dead or is pronounced dead by Morgan and will be transferred to Impel Down or even have a marineford 2.0 with Dadan reacting to his execution time
no way a person like her would even care about Sabo kidnapping a princess bruh 🧥
That’s a rlly unique theory and well thought out, nice job. I just gotta a couple questions/ doubts on it. The main one is regarding how exactly do u think Pluton can move the islands. Through simply pulling or perhaps through the use of an ability?
The problem I found with pulling is Pluton would have to be enormous to even be remotely strong enough to pull an island the size of the parts in Wano let alone chunks of the Red Line. It’d have to be at least bigger than the parts of Wano but that kinda leads to the problem of how has it been hidden even if it’s in pieces there doesn’t seem to be any signs of something that large buried. If u do think it is indeed that large where do u think it could be possibly hidden in Wano?
The other option where pluton would not have to be as huge is being an ability like how Kaido/Shiki can lift islands. Similar to how Shirahoshi uses her ability to summon the sea kings and then use Noah the ship. Although if it was an ability like that wouldn’t the user be called the ancient weapon and not the ship? That’s probably the main doubt i have in theory otherwise it looks rlly solid n fits well in the story
also, if the red line was composed with pluton, how come the ponegliffs are still a thing? surely they could’ve erased or brought them to mariejois with pluton
seems like the ancient weapons were initially at least what the ancient kingdom used. I don’t think the WG would have constructed the red line sounds like they just took over it wiped /kicked out the Lunarians whilst they were at it. After they took over they probably built Mariejois n started their reign i guess?
yeah but what im getting at is if they used pluton at some point it was probably after the ponegliffs were made and if they did a buster call on ohara just because they learned how to read the language on them, surely they would use pluton to “erase” them
oh yeh i agree if pluton was used for construction it was probably used way before the WG took over. Perhaps the WG beat the Ancient Kingdom before they could use the ancient weapons to win? Same thing with Poseidon there must have been something that prevented the Ancient Kingdom from using it against the WG or they chose not to
- if this theory is somehow correct that could also explain how god valley and literally the left eye of upper yard (idk if thats the name of the island on skypiea or there was a proper name) disappeared, but roger found it, so they just placed it somewhere else harder to find but he did it anyways
I bet pluton is a "walking" warship that can attach land to itself like a hermit crab would to a new home and move it to other places. It can possibly be the foundation of wano
i know we’re in the one piece universe but how tf a walking warship would look like and how would that even look or work
i imagined a warship that either has stick limbs or muscles like we humans do
No other series references please @spring heart

My problem with Sabo being dead is that it doesn't fit in from a narrative perspective. The climax of the first half of the series was meant to show that Luffy wasn't strong enough to save his brother, and that he needed to grow from it. If they rehash that exact same scenario then I feel like Ace's death would no longer feel nearly as impactful, because it would mean Luffy didn't grow from it in the first place.
unambiguously stated
That's a very strong word, and I don't feel that it is correct from the scan you used. It says, "the red line is essentially islands joined together", which is different from being outright joined together islands. What this means is that it says it functions much like islands joined together, but it doesn't necessarily mean it is genuinely connected islands, only that they have areas that function like different islands.
It's akin to saying a platypus is essentially a beaver crossed with a duck
Dont think Sabo is dead, and Oda is not dumb to kill off a very important lore character off screen
This is probably a time where we need to verify which word is used in the raws
“Essentially” is a very key word for how the situation is interpreted
Yeah, I'm just saying that the cited scan specifically says that
However, I do tend to agree with you, because if it were known to be a bunch of islands stuck together, it would be natural to wonder how and why that happened. And it being 10km tall would also need to be explained. It is likely that you are right with the platypus analogy

in a manner of speaking; as it were; so to speak; if you like; per se
https://jisho.org/search/ittemireba
This confirms it then, it is not unambiguously stated
I think the best theory I've heard concerning Sabo is that he was framed for both the murder of Cobra and the kidnapping of Vivi during the Reverie
Yeah I really like that one and makes the most sense, everything just fits smoothly
It can also apply to Gods Valley as the island disappeared without a trace.
If this is better suited for #manga let me know. Just curious to see discussion here since the manga channels tend to be more flooded with non-theory topics.
What's everyone's thoughts on this ancient alliance theory?

Oh shit, actually almost all just facts instead of theory XDDD
OH AND THAT'S HOW UROUGE WILL TIE IN MAYBE
He's pretty much the only worst generation dude who just hasn't had any screentime, but he is a man of the sky, and Uranus is most probably the ancient weapon of the sky(given that it's named after the god of the sky)
main problem about this theory is that sky island was not there 800 years ago. They were shot up there some 400 years ago.
Wasnt that just the part of jaya though? Werent the sky island already there in the first place?
That's only upper yard, they went to war when it shot up because of owning the place prior
yep, just stringing everything together
As for Urouge though, hmm. I'm kinda sold on the theory of him being with Blackbeard but he could have some ties too. I kinda like the further speculation they made about the the New World straw hats all being representative of the groups associated with the ancient weapons.
Not the biggest fan of new characters being introduced as new Straw Hats this late in the story, but it's had me pondering on the possibility of a new sky islander Straw Hat.
Also yeah, like Noob and Seesaw said, that was just the Upper Yard. Skypiea itself's been up there for a while, as have other sky islands I imagine.
Carrot has representation for the sky people races as she gets her powers from the Moon, this would avoid randomly tossing in some skypiean dude
Yeahh, randomly tossing in a sky islander would feel weird this late. Although I can see it being done well. Carrot I used to be on board with, but given how she's been treated in Wano, it'd feel awkward having her join now to me. There was a really good set up, but now it's as if Oda's been phasing her out sort of once Wano and especially the raid came along.
I'd say it would make no sense for her to be written out given that she's supposed to have been bringing the dawn in respect to Pedro and he kind of would've been a waste if she does nothing; also because they didn't just yeet her onto Zunesha and get it over with
I'd say it would make no sense for her to be written out ... and he kind of would've been a waste if she does nothing
Exactly! Although it seems like that might be the case with how things have been going to me unfortunately. I also found it strange that Zunesha left before some of the minks could get to go back, considering they'll need to eventually. Hopefully she can get some closure at the very least.
I feel like they didn't have Enel's cover story for nothing; we have to cover the Moon in its fullness
Also, I think having Carrot around is important if they're going to explain why the Minks have Sulong beyond "well it's cool, guys, it's like a werewolf idk", which they better because I really don't like something that big to just be handwaved
The Celestial dragons also seem pretty alien, having spacesuit-looking getups, literally being called celestial, looking inbred very pure-blooded, etc. so they might be tied to space/the moon as well
I think we could definitely cover the Moon during the endgame for sure. If we get one big lore drop on it, I imagine Sulongs will be covered there as well. Going back to the ancient alliance theory though, wonder how the moon could tie in besides ties to sky islanders.
The clans of Wano all have "moon" in their names iirc (save for the Kurozumis), I forget if there's a connection between the fishmen and the moon too.
Weren't the fishmen mainly connected to the sun
Urouge seemed phased/disturbed by the news of Ace's execution(chapter 501 page 10), which tells me that it wasn't something he liked and that he probably wouldn't want to align with somebody who caused it
He also says in chapter 581 that he thinks Blackbeard will be the eye of the storm
hmm, he definitely seems a little shocked there but I can't say it's because of Ace specifically. If you're wondering about the Blackbeard thing though, it's mostly cause of this theory:
#manga-theories message
I have yet to see the theory so time to read lol
So far I disagree with the idea that saying somebody is the key to things inherently is a positive descriptor; I would say calling somebody the key to everything here indicates that events will be happening primarily as a result of their actions, but not that it means they're good
Hmmm, I think there is a lot of convincing stuff there, although Urouge strikes me a little more as the type to never want to be following orders; What I expect is that he'll basically act like a third party against Blackbeard and Luffy, as Wyper did to Enel/Luffy during most of the Skypeia arc
His 108m bounty is a reference to the Buddhist belief that a man has to resist all 108 temptations to reach Nirvana; I feel like going to Blackbeard because of temptations would ruin that
Also I feel a little tired of the "Supernova is working for/with ___ Yonko" plot, and it would work best for Oda to have at least one who isn't allying himself with any
He's already done it with Trafalgar Law/Eustass Kid/Killer(Luffy), Scratchmen Apoo/X Drake/Basil Hawkins(Kaido), and Capone Bege(Big Mom)
is it possible for god valley to be in the sky just like skypiea
like since it disappeared without a trace and pluton could still possibly be in the sky and no one hasent found it yet
Pluton is in Wano
how u know
I read
oh
Speaking of which though, what's the theory behind Sukiyaki knowing her name is Nico Robin? I read a little bit of a crazy one that he could be affiliated with CP0, but I'd like to hear any others
u maybe right
It shouldn't be possible for him to have fed an inanimate object a devil fruit without Vegapunkian science
imagine if he just boiled the df and this is what it had become lol
Very plausible but also at the same time very concerning implications, as this would solve the problem behind feeding devil fruits to inanimate objects, allowing a man to collect multiple devil fruit powers without eating them and having the weakness himself
In other words, that reveal would send the One Piece world down the path of acting like Pokémon trainers but with like teapots and stuff
For reference, this is 1052 where the cp0 says they can capture Robin without fail
Uranus is the god of the sky. Maybe it could transport those on sky islands to the ground so the world can truly live together. One of the ancient weapons has to be the egg that was on Rogers ship. We already know that Poseidon is used to transport the fishmen to the surface. There possibly could be an underground civilization that lives under the red line, pluton (the god of the underworld) could transport those underground to the surface.
Corroborating this, we know that Poseidon(Shirahoshi) hadn't been born yet, and we know that Pluton was in Wano already at this point because of the ancient poneglyph in Alabasta having said Pluton's location; if Roger were to have had an Ancient Weapon, Uranus is the only possible one.
Definitely on to something here @stone bolt
If ancient weapons are just things used to transport people I'd be highly disappointed honestly lol
Poseidon is used to transport the fishmen to the surface
Not exactly its main usage; Poseidon is the power to control all of the sea kings of the world, that's just something you can use it for
The ark is used to transfer them, Shirahoshi will command the sea kings to move it
Sure, I'll give you that it's not quite stated that the Red Line is made of formerly separate islands. But my theory doesn't rely on the statement that "the Red Line was definitely built form smaller islands". What matters is that the idea is there. It's not confirmed, but it's suggested. The fact that the Red Line "functions like a bunch of smaller islands" is more than enough to constitute ground for a theory that it was built from smaller islands.
Yeah, and I didn't say your theory was wrong, just that it wasn't unambiguously stated as you claimed
I find it important to point out as if it were to be directly stated that it was different islands, it would make the theory 10x more likely
That's true I guess, I totally considered it to be a confirmed fact in my mind. Well it's good that I put the panel next to it
then it must be sabo being sent to impel down, based off dadan’s reaction
Sorry if its a repost, video os two weeks old after all
Think that Im is the rain god mentioned back in skypiea? Nika was also possibly foreshadowed. That means we also would have to meet the earth and forest gods.
Seeing as the Yonko are defeated I can’t think of any greater threat to the straw hats then a god.
Isnt it weird that all former Yonkos had some relation with Rocks?
whos full name do we reckon has been revealed in the new posters that includes D, i reckon its shanks, Shanks D. something will roll off the tongue a bit better i think
WAIT! D… nika is a sun god, vitamin D comes from the sun, therefore… the D clan a people who originally come from the sun! But I don’t think shanks will have a D in his name. It would make it less special if too many people had it.
@tired depot I really think Im is gonna straight up be the rain god. It would make sense then that the D clan are “enemies of god”
Plus we need threat bigger than the yonko
Plot twist: what If Imu isn’t even powerful. I can’t imagine a guy who’s been sheltered in a palace for potentially centuries being that strong. His lineage is what powers him and his subordinates are who keep him in power
Perhaps something during the void century weakened him. Maybe his battle with joy boy? Im has to be something besides human I think. A water god makes sense as the final boss of a pirate story. Maybe he flooded the world during the void century to destroy all his enemies.
Who knows. He’s a mystery. Literally no one knows who he is. Other than the 5 elders
That could be why there is so much ocean. It would’ve been such a terrible act that he erased it from history in order to prevent rebellion. If people knew, they would be harder to control. Maybe fish man island used to be on the surface
Very interesting
The celestial dragons might have been those who followed Im to the red line where it would be safe. There he could create his version of utopia. But a few survived and rebuilt their civilizations. But now under control of Im’s government
Bruh why does this channel have a one minute cool down
Because of people like me
it's also possible Im is a kind of Earth God and an actual Rain God flooded splitting everything to try weaken his ruling power
the palace called Pangea after all and irl Pangea is how the world used be in the ancient times
But the earth and forest gods could have created the poneglyphs stone and the devils fruits respectively.
The poneglyphs recorded the history that Im wants to destroy and the devils fruits have a weakness to water. Also the dragon hoof symbol could represent a final battle between the three gods and Im
My thought was about poneglyphs being made of some moon rock to reconnect us with Enel sidestory Oda gave us as in a possible ancient presence/connection with one piece world and possible Im origin altough not necessarily for DFs
she was a kid with a 70 million bounty
I think I actually know what the one piece is
or what its supposed to do at least
Im gonna write an essay on it later I just need to give my mind break
the closest item i got to thinking that is actually the one piece is Luffy's fruit.
im like 90 percent sure
im now 100 percent sure in my mind
the metaphysical one piece is the Straw Hat's dreams, they're searching for the one piece but they already have it which is the love and harmony they have for each other, now the creativity of luffy's fruit can make dreams become reality
Nah oda said one piece isn’t like a concept it’s an actual thing
yes luffy's fruit
Roger said the one piece is at the final island (raftel) and nobody knows how to get there.
Shanks does but the ones who got the fruit first was the wg, specifically whos who
Nah the wg would be way way more pressed if they knew he already had the one piece
I think nobody knows how to get there is a euphemism for the Jungian Theory of the Holy Grail of the Unconsciousness.
they didnt know it was the one piece they thought it was the gomu gomu no mi\
Rereading one piece, did kuina literally die from falling downstairs? Or it means committing suicide in Japanese?
She committed suicide because the pain she felt from thinking she would never being able to achieve her dreams was too much, if only the whole world had the one piece anything could be possible. Thats why discrimination is so evil.
If she knew females could reach big mom-level, I think she would never do such a thing
Corazon dies just like roger, completing his dreams of seeing Law live his best life
No I’m saying rn they still aren’t that pressed
most women are not like big mom she was evil and kuina's authenticity wouldn't want to be inspired by that
A woman could reach the summit of the world. Kuina at the time was too naive
Exactly, suicide is never the answer.
Yea but kuina doesn’t really know that it’s pretty obv she has a lot of self doubt
She doesn't know that because it's a part of her unconsciousness, The Holy Grail of the Unconsciousness is the one piece
What?
So many questions
“I should advise you to put it all down as beautifully as you can — in some beautifully bound book,” Jung instructed. “It will seem as if you were making the visions banal — but then you need to do that — then you are freed from the power of them. . . . Then when these things are in some precious book you can go to the book & turn over the pages & for you it will be your church — your cathedral — the silent places of your spirit where you will find renewal. If anyone tells you that it is morbid or neurotic and you listen to them — then you will lose your soul — for in that book is your soul.”
Laugh tale? it's so obvious.
You guys might think im insane but youll see
Actually like that theory. Good work
Laugh tale is a grand scheme that failed once before. Instrumental to this plan are the three weapons, the Nika fruit, and there was a prophet 800 years ago that predicted the rise of monkey d Luffy, the second person to awaken the human fruit model Nika. All in the hope to topple the world government or destroy part of the red line or all of it.
I am a philosopher of the heart
bingo, also, look at the emoji I used for my line "laugh tale it's so obvious" does it look familiar to someone else's laugh?
I think One Piece is Oda's attempt at making the world a better place.
Sanji's dream is harder than Luffy's. But because we don't know Luffy's real dream. Or it could be what Luffy ranted before, the world where his friends never have to be starving.
exactly man it all comes together so easily, Sanji is one of the warmest most empathetic crew mates just like luffy.
this is all why the will of D is so important to corazon
It's almost like the one piece world is our world
Tbh all you need for sanjis dream is to destroy the red line
is it confirmed if garp or dragon has conquerors haki? In marineford Garp says "so he did inherit it after all" does this not confirm that either one or both have it?
Wano has closed borders and doesn't receive the bounties, that's why Robin had to ask him, and that especially doesn't explain his vegapunkian pet
"all you need"
You try destroying a 10km tall landmass lol
Yea you know how many op chars could do that rn. Luffy prob could do it rn
It literally stretches around the entire world, nobody, not even Kaido and Luffy duoing it could
I think we’re spoiling one piece
Problem being that nobody would "laugh" upon seeing a devil fruit
The One Piece is stated by the narrator himself to be "everything roger gained" and not just a singular item in chapter 968
Lol no, she literally made a promise to Zoro the night before that one of them would become the world's greatest swordsman, she actually just fell down the stairs
He doesn’t have to destroy all of it tho. Just parts of it
Kaido would just repeatedly bop holes into the red line to get through it every time he wanted to go between paradise and the new world if he could, the red line would barely be holding right now
Why he can just fly
He has a crew to take with him
He doesn’t have to take them all tho. When he went to mf I think he either went solo or only took king
Literally nowhere was that said I'm pretty sure, but also, why would he not take the rest of his top men??
Why would he. Like he’s going there just to kill wb. And It explains why shanks dealt with him so fast
Kaido isn't so egotistical as to think he shouldn't have his men around him wherever he goes, and if he were just flying, he would just fly over Shanks
It could be another item true but I think the message is still the same of what I said. Also with Kuina, if falling down the stairs meaning suicide in Japan is a rumor, then yes I apologize and that is an Occam’s Razor moment. But still, her story resonated with me a lot so I thought I could make a connection.
also dude im only on chapter 925 i just read the wiki for gear 5😐
Bro, you should uh, really stay outta manga channels lol
nah i just like theorizing
Yes, but theorizing ain't too helpful when you're missing over 10% of the story with lots of vital information
I'll give you that one even though im more into the overall picture. Once I finish it i'll have even more information to think about.
Also one more thought, maybe she was inspired while she was with zoro but she couldn't stay that way once she was by herself.
I like it
Maybe if they chased their dreams together, that wouldn't have happened. Or maybe it's totally different from what I am saying. The possibilities are endless and we'll find out!
Thats why luffy grows super big right?

I wish I could send "he laughed" panel and the one of the gear 5 transformation. I think it would put it into perspective easier.
- You need level 10 for embed perms
- He does become big but he's nowhere near the size of the redline, and certainly not able to smash it
From the One Piece Wiki, I think this description is more than enough. "Nika, grants the user's rubber-like body increased physical strength and freedom, limited only by the user's imagination. It is for this reason that the user is said to become the "Warrior of Liberation" The Sun God? The Sun Pirates trying to free themselves of discrimination only to separate on ideals. The Good Ones: While they know they're heavily discriminated, that doesn't keep them from trying to connect with the world and make it a better place. The Bad: Dysfunctional and Maladaptive, these characters hyper focus on the injustices of their lives and pessimism not being able to see that there is also good in the world.
Everything that Roger had? His friends because nothing was on Raftel. I'm sorry I'm spoiling the story but that's just how it is
No, we know for a fact that there is an objective treasure, it was stated in an SBS, it's not friendship
didn't the wg already take it? It's original location must be Raftel.
Shanks knew that luffy was going to be the savior when he ate that fruit, that's why he gave the hat to Luffy, the next pirate king. He was pretending it was just the gomu gomu no mi because that's what the government thought incase anyone from the world government was there.
-
If you mean the One Piece, no, if you mean the nika fruit, the world government tried for 800 years and never got their hands on it
-
We have no evidence that Shanks knew what the fruit was himself, and promptly that if that's why he gave him the hat
Lucky Roux says "QUIT FREAKIN THE HELL OUT" to Shanks when Luffy goes missing; I really, REALLY don't think he would say something like that if they knowingly had the mythical zoan fruit with the ability to save the world go missing
"you want my treasure, you can have it I left everything I gathered together in one place. Now you'll just have to find it!." Two types of people were inspired that day. People who wanted to find the treasure and the people who wanted to follow their dreams. They must've thought it was some Mythical Zoan not some unassuming Paramecia awakening. Most people thought that the gomu gomu ni was a weak fruit. It was Luffy's ideals that made him so powerful as he was able to be creative with his "weak" power.
Because they believed in Luffy's extraverted joy and love for people. It's more of having a feeling that it will all work in the end.
What are you talking about lol
wait mb, they knew he would be okay. Because he talked about being the Pirate King in the bar. I don't remember does he say it before or after eating the fruit? it doesn't matter. What I just said was my explantion for Shank's initial reaction to luffy eating the fruit. I didn't read your entire sentence, my bad.
They did not know he would be okay, they were panicked, but they were definitely more "he's missing" panicked than "the entire world is doomed" panicked
see the example you sent above.
Yes, Shanks and Yasopp are both visibly distressed and Lucky's trying to calm them down so they can figure out the situation
Shanks was thinking about what would happen if something happened to Luffy with the fruit, but Luky Roux knew it was gonna be okay because he was inspired by what he said in the bar as it reminded him of his who his captain loved so much, Gol D. Roger.
Going a little smug here. Don't get me wrong, One Piece is a lovey dovey show. People who don't like it for it's "inconsistencies" fail to see the big picture.
Shanks also states in chapter 1 that a pirate who cannot swim is no good; this implies that he, at least at this point in time, doesn't think of devil fruits as something necessary to change the world, and thus, implies he doesn't know the existence of something like Nika
Notice the "hahahahahahaha" there are tons of powerful pirates with devil fruits.
I am tired so I am going to stop writing, we can talk later if you want
@pure raven what do u think?
Judging from how his crew appears to have none, I think it's reasonable to think that he wasn't entirely dishonest here, but ah well
Additionally, even Who's Who, the CP9 agent who was responsible for transporting the fruit, did not know the fruit's identity. Shanks stole it from them, so it's not like him and the Gorosei are best buds and that they told him. CP0 was also not granted knowledge of the fruit's true name, and thus, do not see it as real harm for information about it to be leaked.
OH SHIT THAT CHANGES EVERYTHING
everything I said is still true there's just another reason why they know the fruit
It has to do with Sword and the Revolutionaries Think about it because I don't want to right now lol.
What the heck would they have anything to do with it
Ill explain tomorrow as for now I want to play league of legends or something.
My personal thought is that there is at least one big reason why the gum gum fruit could not be from laugh tale: If we operated under the belief that the world government did in fact acquire it from there, then it would stand to reason that they would destroy the path to laugh tale in order to prevent any pirates from reaching there; in addition, they'd bring down anything that had information there as well. We know for a fact that the one piece still exists, as it's been stated by Oda in SBS, so we know they have not done so; we can conclude from that that the world government does NOT know where laugh tale is and how to reach his treasure, and thus, that CP9 acquired it elsewhere.
We also know that the red haired pirates were located at Foosha Village for a total of one year, and we know that they acquired the gum gum fruit during this time period; therefore, we can conclude that the gum gum fruit was in fact acquired by cp9(and taken from by the red-haired pirates) in East Blue.
Given that it was said to be their base for the year, and thus that they hadn't simply set sail and left for a while from the village, we can also deduce that anybody who left to get the fruit did not travel far from foosha village/dawn island/goa kingdom
and the poneglyphs
Robin and Sukiyaki are the only two people in the world after Oden died who could read the poneglyphs, so the only time Shanks could have read those poneglyphs was during his time onboard with Roger, 24 years ago. Why would he not simply go get the fruit 24 years ago, instead of sitting on his hands for 11 years???
theyre laughing because they just thought of best way to throw off the governemt, to say the one piece and all the treasures are on the island. And the reason they're laughing is because what he's saying is also true.
and because its gonna be funny when people finally reach it and its going to be nothing
No, Roger's crew laughed at the treasure they received, and the one piece is confirmed to be real and not nothing
Peace dude
Hiyori is set to eat a moon god Devil fruit and become a literal Moon Princess
That sounds plausible but do you have evidence to support this?
Based on what various figures stand for and also other theories that have gained credence lately. I’m a big subscriber to the theory of Jaya being the original kingdom of the Sun and the missing right eye being the kingdom of the moon (potentially Wano given how much moon imagery is present in the kozuki and shimotsuki clans). With the two kingdoms together making up the ancient kingdom that was ganged up on by the world government in the void century. Additionally I’ve seen a lot of argument for Teach being the other moon god which I agreed with for a while but with ever since I came to see Wano as the moon kingdom I think differently. I think teach is darkness-especially with the Yami yami no mi lol-that can only be opposed by the Sun and the moon together. Furthermore I can’t really think of anyone else who could get a moon fruit on Wano that fits more than Hiyori. I would say momo but that ship has sailed. Plus it just seems like a cheeky oden sorta thing to do—alluding to a major plot point through the title of a song
lmao he was right in 2021, maybe it played a role to Kaidos defeat by exposing him to seastone / geological conditions of the land

My theory is Ace Can Be Revived From The Dead... Marco has the phoenix - phoenix fruit , Phoenix is an ancient bird in greek mythology and it is said that when a phoenix dies another one is born from its ashes which means if marco ever dies he will born again?? or someone else will be born with his df, now for the marco's character we've always seen him losing people close to him and he's unable to save them like he lost oden, ace, whitebeard , his crewmates and allies in the marineford war he lost his fight against blackbeard and now he lost izo, he always was unable to save anyone so maybe at last he will die on tbe ace's grave while fighting or something and finally he will be able to save one of his crewmates and rip🙏 and ace will be revived as a phoenix - phoenix user
dont call me dumb if theory is weird 🥺

"What a beautiful face I have found in this place
That is circling all 'round the sun
And when we meet on a cloud
I'll be laughing out loud
I'll be laughing with everyone I see
Can't believe how strange it is to be anything at all"
-Jeff Mangum
JOYboy.....LAUGHtale!!!!! Joyboy and raftel gotta be connected.
joy brings laughter!!!!!
Incredibly mean spirited.
When Shanks gave Luffy the hat, he was making himself Luffy's idol to inspire him. Just like the man who inspired him when he was given a certain straw hat.
Roger literally said he laughed at what Joyboy left
So if Yamato joins the Strawhats. Whats her crew position
she writes their adventures like oden
this resonates with the quote I sent as well
This is more of a question for #manga since this channel is for in depth theory discussion rather than casual chit chat
Also don't forget, Robin's backstory wasn't just a 1 and off thing. She's one of the most important crew members as she can read the poneglyphs which will help make this all come to life.
He says he's laughing because of the treasure, while at the island
ok got it
Yeah, the channel would be more like, "Yamato would fulfill X role if she were to join the straw hats; here's why" and giving panels and stuff about what she's hinted at doing
Can I have embed role to help prove a point?
You get that from level 10
I'm not being condescending when I say this, some emotional nuance would be helpful here. It's proving my point.
http://www.onepiecepodcast.com/2014/07/27/oda-reveals-what-the-one-piece-isnt/
Sakura: …. Well, I want to know, but I probably shouldn’t. BUT, the One Piece, it’s not something like “the growth your heart went through”, right?
Oda: Hahaha, no no, I won’t be pulling off some kind of Wizard of Oz thing like that. After having gone through an adventure like that, it wouldn’t be fair to not actually give them a reward.
It is a physical reward
"I wish I was born in your time so I can live in a truly free world" What inspired everyone about gol d roger? how free he felt on the ocean.
I also don't think I'm being too condescending saying this, but Oda has confirmed that they will in fact receive a tangible reward for the One Piece, meaning that the roger pirates did not throw anyone off by saying the one piece is real
I wonder how much the world of one piece would change if the world government and the celestial dragons fell. I'm sure only the greatest of tangible rewards follow.
I think the one piece might be key to destroying the red line, thus uniting the seas into the all blue; and my reach theory is that the Moon is involved, which is why it was introduced as an inhabited location, why there was a full cover story arc for it, and why the straw hats seemingly went to skypeia, their grandest/most mythical adventure location yet, at the beginning of the series
This would also tie into things like Carrot/The Minks having a moon-based form; along with the heavy usage of it as symbolism throughout the series, I.E. how Oda added the background for young Blackbeard, or why it was shown with a constant progression over the series.
Similarly, it only makes sense for them to introduce a Moon God in some way, as the protagonist is the Sun God.
Now that's something I can agree with. The ancient weapons of course could only be something as great enough to destroy the red line and thus the world government. And that power should only be bestow upon to someone with truly a good heart that wants to make the world a better place, but instead of saying that they might just say they want the world to be free.
If Carrot and Yamato both join, it would additionally tie into the theory with these new world straw hats:
A Straw Hat of powers from above the Earth, at the Moon(Carrot)
A Straw Hat of powers of the Earth(Yamato)
A Straw Hat of powers from below the Earth(Jinbe)
Mirroring the ancient weapons Uranus, Pluton, and Poseidon respectively
Nice connections there I can see that.
Thank you for trying to help make the world a better place Oda, I truly love you and I don't even speak your language.
Shanks will tell the Straw Hats where to find Uranus.
In Episode/Chapter 0, it is stated that Roger has one of the three Ancient Weapons.
We know that Poseidon didn't exist during Roger's time, and we know that Pluton was hidden away in Wano, closed away as a secret, and that Roger was barely there, so it's very unlikely he had Pluton.
This tells us thus that the ancient weapon Roger had was in fact Uranus, and Shanks was in his crew, so Shanks knows that too. This means the absolute most likely way the Straw Hats will learn about it is via Shanks telling them, upon their fated meeting. Since Usopp's character arc has been heavily foreshadowed to climax at Elbaf, and we know he'll be meeting Yasopp upon meeting the red haired pirates, I think it's fair to assume that the red haired pirates will be meeting the straw hats at Elbaf.
Piecing everything together, the Straw Hats will discover Uranus, or the location of it, at Elbaf.
heres my theory on how one piece is gonna end,
luffy gonna find someone with time travel fruit and get stuck in the void time period and he will be called joyboy in that era and he will understand everything or know everything cuz he was joyboy so he carved out the poneglypth as he grew up and also him using gear 5 made him and his hat giant, and thats how imu has the giant hat idk something like that theory may be dumb in many ways but i just wanted to let this out my chest
What I expect to happen immediately after Wano is a resolution to what had happened at the reverie, so we're probably getting some sort of Sabo/Post-Reverie arc; this was additionally foreshadowed in the background of 1053, with an image of Sabo hiding on the edge of the panel, between pages.
So I think the ending story structure will look something like this:
Reverie/Revolutionary Army arc -> Elbaf/Shanks arc -> Moon/Blackbeard arc -> Laugh Tale/Pirate King arc -> World Government/Celestial Dragons arc->Epilogue
This also corresponds directly to the given three locations for the final Road Poneglyph in the Road to Laugh Tale Part 1 chapter; The revolutionaries, Shanks, and Blackbeard. This could be Oda's way of telling us what road we're going to experience on the way to the laugh tale arc.
Personally, I feel that would directly contrast the story as a whole; throughout the story, Luffy's ultimate goal has been to not only become the pirate king, but in doing so, achieve ultimate freedom. Being bound by fate so as to not even get to live the rest of life in his own time would be nothing short of devastating for Luffy's story arc.
Nah guys it's definitely at Raijin Island
I don’t have the energy to really think about it but I do like the connections. Remember, the power of Nika’s fruit is limited only by the user’s imagination so technically anything is possible.
that would work also because of the promise Joy Boy made to Poseidon
Luffy promised Shirahoshi to bring her see a forest once she stops being a crybaby
My theory: there is a time time fruit where the person can go or let others go forward in time and the user is toki and also there a fruit where the user can make people younger and older and the user is Bonny so there with be a fruit where the person can go back in time and that person will appear soon
is this a troll? It's been confirmed in the manga already it's not a theory
That's 100% a troll given that it was said in the same scene
Did someone made a theory of this already?
yes
Luffy, dragon and greenbull? Perhaps greenbull would give us insight on luffys God fruit
idk about greenbull
Do you think shanks is the kind of guy to put up a fight vs the world government just for some rubber paramecia fruit that none of his crew cared to eat but instead brought it with them all the way from the grandline i assume to the east blue?(I assume it's because he wanted to give it to Ace who was in the goa kingdom at the time and who Roger literally wanted to have so he could be joyboy or whatever) he definitely knew the importance of that fruit, otherwise he wouldn't have given luffy his strawhat etc(Not that this is good evidence but neither is citing other random things that happened in the romance dawn chapters)
greenbull fit it imho. It's not like we're not close to the end of the story where it would be out of place or really needing everyone with it to be the "main" of the leftover story
Hello, I have a quick question. In Luffy Gear 5, the straw hat is suddenly no longer there, but rather a ring around it. Do you think that Straw hat is connected to Gear 5?
hey what if luffy doesn't become king of the pirates but becomes god of the pirates, and buggy becomes king
buggy ironically alluding to the nika fruit this early in the story? gaming moment
I don't get it
the hat is still there it's just minimally drawn imo
all DF transformations of some kind,be it Logia,Paramecia or Zoans have dress es either change or temp disappear and reappear same spot. I would not overthink it. Think how often we would have seen Kaido naked this arc otherwise
god of the sun is luffy, god of the forest is most likely greenbull, we might not seen other characters yet, I do think the reason greenbull is on wano is something else than a fight with straw hats, maybe he will explain some things
God of forest might be chopper
Rain is likely Dragon or Imu. I feel Imu is the god of earth
sounds boring
I cbf going into depth about it so watch oharas video on yt explaining why
Idk we haven't seen anything crazy from his devil fruit that might indicate its some kind of Mythical zoan so I don't want it to be true if we've reached its peak
Ye Luffy having gears and chopper having his transformation which are like Luffy s gears
Chopper nowhere as strong though
That dosent matter. But it’s only a theory which isn’t true
Caesar and Germa are probably gonna find a cure for SMILE... but then throw it away because it's useless to them
I think there’s a whole different type of power in one piece besides haki One lots of people have overlooked that being the power of magic magic is a huge thing in one piece, hawkins cards, hypnosis, the fishman island globe, the island brook went to when they were trying to expel demons, Pedro and kinemon referenced magic, Miss goldenweek had those powers with no devil fruit, there’s a character called mummy in dressrosa arc who used sorcery during dressrosa battle arc, when nami went to weatheria she literally meets with a man dressed as a wizard, nami is pretty much alluded to be a witch
I...don't really think that's gonna be the case. Anyways most likely people that would do that are Marco,Law and Chopper
Bootstrap paradox, I won't like it at all
This is a common theory posted by lots of youtubers and i think it is very unlikely, especially because Oda specifically told us going back in time isn't possible
i found an interesting theory wich i don't think would be true in the end but still an entertaining possibilty, https://www.reddit.com/r/OnePiece/comments/q41gm6/theory_the_ancient_truth_about_the_new_onigashima/ , the only thing i would change is that it wouldn't be the ancient weapon uranus but pluto, since the reveal that pluto is in wano and pluto is the ruler of the underworld more fitting with a ancient death gaint, this could represent a "warship" since the ancient gaint were said to move islands
I like that theory because it agrees with my 4th glyph theory: The giant who formed Wano ate the glyph and onigashima was his skull. I was expecting that when Onigashima lifted off, the entry to the body of the giant would later be revealed and it would be like a mini-arc of traveling through this ultra ancient giant's body to find the glyph
I came up with another theory that i think is pretty fun to think about but I sent it in another server with a manga panel can I plz have embed perm🥺
gotta get level 10, we don't give it out other than that, sorry. Feel free to use imgur links in the meantime
Wait nvm I can just use money lol
Wait nvm please update the #bots channel as it is misinformation
just saw this theory in youtube comments, most of it is head canon but it is reasonable. garp spelled backwards is parg which loosely translates to “strongest of all”. to beat the rocks pirates, garp and roger awakened a new haki called “gods haki” that’s why they were able to overcome all of those powerhouses. NOW i added to this theory that it’s “the will of d” and not “god haki”. everyone else who had the letter D either died to soon or wasn’t strong enough to awaken it. roger the protagonist of the old gen and garp a supporter of the protagonist both awakened the will of d to defeat rocks. in the current generation tho it will be monkey D luffy the protagonist and marshall D teach the antagonist. (head canon is assuming another form of haki will be introduced. reason to assume that is we have yet to see a god tier pure haki no df user fight)
Garp spelled backwards is Prag not parg. Also, where's the source where you got the meaning of parg?
Is this the part where you can put spoilers and theories 🧐
my b meant prag, i have no idea tbh that’s just what the guy said. he said prag is a ancient word for king of all will and in hypolobus prag means strongest of all
Zero other series references outside of #other-series . And in other series, it needs to be in spoiler tags with labels on what is within the spoilers. And zero one piece spoilers are allowed outside of the specific spoilers channel. Get the spoiler role in #old-role-info to access it
so if that’s not true then everything i said is just made up or invalid lmao
Oh ok
Don’t worry, that’s just a part of making theories. We’re mostly wrong
It’s still fun to try to find good evidence and construct a well thought out theory that goes beyond mild predictions, but going through the steps to determine you are wrong is a part of the process
give me embed perms and ill blow your mind
remember the panel with shanks telling luffy he cant be the pirate king? Hmm if only on gol d. roger's ship it is stated that the man with the most powerful devil fruit user is. What a funny Idea, it truly makes me laugh.
I love you so much oda
@iron bolt if we speaking about human language pragm come from the greek word pragma and the relative adjective pragmatikos and it does not mean king but real as in meaning something or someone very few into words and all into facts thinking about the core of whatever is doing without waste time on unecessary things
eg:someone not enjoying subtlety and being very direct

Throughout the emotional pain of my upbringing. I related to Robin and found comfort in the idea that im not supposed to be alive. But in rebirth, I relate to Cora's extreme passion to help making the world a better place. He definitely has something to do with Sword and so does Sengoku because they too knew how evil WG truly is.
Raise your flag over your ideals and dreams people, as that is how you find the "greatest treasure this world has to offer." Now if you could let me embed perm I could relate this entire story to humanity's views on religion. But that would be way too much of a stretch as it is just damn too funny. And also stupid idiot didn't you know? You have to to be level 10 to unlock embed perms? What a joke it totally isnt like an outsider can save this country from itself, thats impossible! Man the world would be truly funny if it connected like that.
@spare robin please keep in mind this channel is not intended for light hearted discussion or general chat. #also-manga is a better fit for what you’re posting
But isn't One Piece light hearted?
It’s easy to think of quips but please follow the rules
I will. I just think Oda is the Gol D Roger of our world
This supports that (I just wrote this up and it took forever to make it clear of no grammar mistakes and what not): I think that Oars being called the "Continent Puller" is a very solid piece of evidence that suggests Wano was hand-made from various islands that were strung together by ancient giants or something of the sort, this is most likely possible because if Oars was able to do so other ancient giants should also be able to and there are probably similar existences out there such as Zou, they could of also put the islands, that make up Wano (being the various regions that are connected via bridges), on top of clouds to make it kind of like a sky island hybrid with a normal island. An example of a famous tale that has a similar situation is Jack and the Giant Beanstalk, where supposedly a giant lives high in the sky that was made accessible because of a magical beanstalk, and the land there is usually portrayed as a place with dirt/grass and not clouds as the soil (at least in various illustrations of it), and the representation of the giant from Jack and the Giant Beanstalk is the giant that initially made Wano, and its corpse being Onigashima for its skull but the other parts are unseen so far. And its also kind of interesting that Thriller Bark, the ship, was first an island from the West Blue that was made into a ship somehow, which is rather a weird coincidence if you ask me but that not does necessarily mean it can be used as evidence though.
Roger went to God Valley one year after reaching Lodestar. This is probably why the WG wanted him as their guy to fight Rocks, because supposedly no one else had reached there in 800 years. If the theory that Shanks (and Buggy) are Celestial Dragons picked up by Roger from God Valley as kids is true, then Shanks being from the West Blue supports that. West Blue along with North is one of the blues you wouldn't have to pass the Red Line to get to from Lodestar. This all means it's entirely possible that the WG contacted Roger when he got to Lodestar to help with Rocks, and from there he went through the Calm Belt to the West Blue and that took him over into the next year. Also, Shanks' drink from his hometown is wine, a typically pretty lavish drink, like what Celestial Dragons would have. Then the Whitebeard-Shanks meet up in Post Enies Lobby has more weight, as Whitebeard betrayed Rocks at God Valley, Rocks, who was there to kill the CDs there, which would have included Shanks. Just my thought dump after rereading that chapter.
@spare robin this channel is only intended for posting and responding to theories.
K
Vegapunk is in league with the revolutionaries and will side with the strawhats in the final war. Vegapunk worked with Queen, judge and caesar before being arrested and basically conscripted into serving the world government. It's fair to say that that might leave a poor taste in his mouth for the WG. He has at least a decent moral compass as well, opposing Caesar's chemical weapons. It's not far fetched to think that some of the WG's atrocities might also put strain on his working relationship, which is already implied to be at gunpoint.
Given that he allowed Kuma to guard the strawhats' ship for 2 years, it's clear that either his respect for Kuma, or guilt for removing Kuma's free will is high enough that he'd risk crossing the WG, or he shares similar goals with Kuma. I wouldn't be surprised if Kuma's personality hasn't been erased, but rather simply suppressed until a later time.
It also makes sense that Kuma would volunteer himself for the human weapon program as a pretense for cooperating with Vegapunk. We don't have a great reason otherwise for Kuma to have joined up as a warlord AND sacrificed his identity, but it must have been to aid the revolutionary army's goals.
Additionally, there's the matter of the 'failed' devil fruit. From everything we've seen, it functions exactly like Kaido's fruit. There's some speculation that it's supposed to have a useless fish form before becoming awakened, but what if Vegapunk simply deemed it a failure and moved it to Punk Hazard so he wouldn't have to hand it over to the world government?
We know the fruit works pretty well from Momonosuke's usage of it. For crying out loud, an 8 year old (in a 28 year old body) went toe to toe with Kaido for longer than 0.5 seconds and lived, and was able to stop the fall of an entire island. If Vegapunk could mass produce it, it would give the world government an insane amount of power. Forget an army of giants, an army of dragons with more competence than an 8 year old would easily squash all resistance. So if Vegapunk is opposed to the WG in secret, deeming a working artificial devil fruit a failure makes perfect sense. He gets the knowledge out of the research without giving the WG the insane benefits. Plus, he's the best scientist they have by a longshot. He has the credibility to just say it doesn't work right and leave it at that. Especially if the pretense is that it would mess people up as bad as SMILEs do, though it's unknown how much the WG knows about SMILEs.
Of course, he still has to produce results for them, so you get things like the Pascifistas still, which are strong, but not on the level of azure dragons. I mean, Pascifistas got immediately one shot by post timeskip luffy. Pascifistas, being robotic, could also have a secret off switch or override that an army of artificial devil fruit users wouldn't. Vegapunk has some as of yet unrevealed invention that should be capable of replacing the warlords in power as well, but if it's mechanical and not biological, then the possibility of an override still stands.
^ done 😛

ok
Garp is the real creator of revolutionary army. He hates the world govt. so much that he trained his son to run the revolutionary army, so he will betray the marine in future.
Any opinions/thoughts?
What if Greenbull has Mythical devil fruit and its the same devil fruit who created the sunlight eve tree ?!
Sunlight Tree Eve is a colossal tree that absorbs sunlight and transfers it to its roots, which also supply air to the ocean floor through respiration. It was first mentioned by Neptune when asked by Nami why the ocean floor was so brightly lit. He tells her that it is like the boss of the Yurukiman Mangrove at the Sabaody Archipelago, possibly ...
From what I can see, there is absolutely zero evidence that the Adam and Eve trees have devil fruit origins. Why would a past devil fruit user have made them in the first place?
My theory about next few chapters:
Aramaki will lose fight vs luffy, zoro, kid (and all another strong people there, i mean c'mon they really beat 2 Yonko's but can't beat an Admiral? Luffy in solo is already at Yonko level so that will be stupid if luffy and another characters will lose this fight(if there will be a fight) ), but after his fail to kill new Yonko he will steal Robin (i mean they really want to get Robin, they said that so many times in that arc so is pretty possible),and after Wano they will go to save Robin(Enies-Lobby 2.0) at the same time luffy will try to save Sabo (if he is captured and if he is still alive).
Personally, I simply don't see them just introducing an admiral to get low diff'd the next chapter, and I feel that they saved the admirals for after the yonko to make them greater threats.
What I anticipate is that Greenbull fights them and things come to a standstill with him being told off by sakazuki or somebody to leave immediately and the fight ends early, to tease his power without ruining the party or himself
Also i saw a theory where Aramaki is from Wano, and he come to say thx to luffy and those who saved his country, but because he is and Admiral and those who saved Wano are pirates,he need to capture them just because that is his work as an Admiral
No, he straight up says he wants Luffy's head to impress Sakazuki.
that's not my theory, i just saw it on yt if i'm not wrong
This is my theory (that's what i think will happen(or something close))
But what happened to Kizaru == Vegapunk?
That theory is dead
Dead or buried alive?
Exactly. I do believe that SSG will bite the WG in the ass in the end. Do keep in mind as well that during TS Franky was on an island where Vegapunk grew up, building a heating system for citizens but he did not have funds nor materials to realise most of his inventions and that was a perfect place for Franky to train. I do believe that Kuma and Vegapunk worked together in finding out the best place for SH's to get stronger, it's either that or Kuma knows all the islands in the One Piece world from inside out which I doubt it
What do you guys think is Greenbull planning to do? Attacking solo the strawhat crew?
Yeah usually when they introduced an admiral, it always came to an heavy fight
I think as soon as everyone is shown Luffy's wanted poster, Luffy probably super excited, everyone's gonna start questioning it.
Nami saw Luffy with his white hair and pointed out that's what he looked like, Luffy saying "OH, yeah that's my gear 5th. But funny how I look like that, huh?" and Jinbei will point out the fact Who's Who was CP9 agent that failed to protect the gum gum fruit. Yamato would add that he was able to turn all the ground and even kaido into rubber, like a paramecia awakening.
Jinbei might ask Luffy some questions about why Shanks had the fruit, and when he ate it, what was their reaction. Luffy might tell Jinbei that everyone on Shank's crew was shocked and Shanks got really mad at him for eating it.
The crew start to bonder more and more about the fruit, where Luffy might even say "It's funny. I got a lot stronger too, and Kaido even said something like "it's like a paramecia and a zoan" awakening".
Maybe some time later, Jinbei might ask Robin if she knows about anything the sun god nika Who's Who talked about, being an archeologist and all, but she might not know a thing, jinbei saying how he's "a liberator of slaves, a sun god" and mentions that Luffy's hair looks like flames, along with the fact Luffy coincidentially frees people wherever he goes. And mentions how his Fruit's awakening may be more like a zoan than a paramecia. Jinbei suggesting it's too coincidental.
Robin and Jinbei might come up with a theory that Luffy's fruit may be a mythical zoan, as mythical zoans grant the user an extra ability to use not matter their form. Maybe even saying, could it be a fruit based off Nika, but they're not certain.
So the rest of the arcs could be the crew wondering about Luffy's fruit and Luffy trying to understand gear 5th
Wano may hold some information of Joyboy maybe too, so Momonosuke could give the crew some JB information if he finds any.
Like, Momo could look into some dusty scrolls, archieves or maybe even find a ponoglyph
Predicting the next chapter. Green Bull and Luffy speak verbally and he agrees to leave as the government can’t fight the Straw Hats right now and Luffy threatens to attack back it he fucks with his party
Greenbull about to see God. Literally.
What might happen is that he will interfere in the fight between Luffy and Kid. Doesn’t look like Kid will back down. I know Green Bull is an admiral and everything but how is he going to go up against Luffy, Kid, and Law.. though one benefit of Green Bull is that we are starting to see forests now in his wake. In a nutshell I think your prediction could happen but it would be in a couple more chapters from now
It's likely gonna be that anime trope of, Character has a hard time using a technique of OP form again, and fails midfight
Greenbull.... as in Shimotsuki Ushimaru?
Yeah, probably, specially since he is not 100% yet. He had bandages on.
But it'd be sick for him to just do the pose, go into G5, and loony toon the crap out of greenbull.
Also Law and Kid would be mad that they can't join in
People called me crazy for believing that Greenbull will beat the Strawhats. I don’t think it’ll be an easy fight anymore. However, narratively speaking, why would Kaido be portrayed as the strongest character 1v1 if Luffy’s next opponents would be weaker? Why make Luffy’s next enemies be weaker than Kaido? I feel Luffy won’t be able to beat Kaido 1v1 until the fight after his next fight (2 fights from now). The idea that the Admiral’s will be a greater threat is a reasonably logical conclusion imo. It’s never been verbatim stated that 1 Yonko > 1 Admiral or vice versa. There’s also the fact that Kizaru was willing to go to Wano alone in the middle of the fight but Akainu said no cause of the samurai (possibly because they know of Oden and assumed they were all similiar in strength). So the fact that Greenbull went knowing all of this? Seems to me like Greenbull will either win but Dragon or someone/thing else will stop him or lose and be forced to retreat but still give everyone a very hard fight.
I’m gonna disagree here. It’s not like Luffy beat kaido 1v1 he got a lot of help. And we see Luffy going from fighting a strong enemy to fight a weaker one next arc. Look at mf or after albasta. And it def has shown yonko > admiral on average look at mf with old wb vs the marines. I doubt Gb is gonna beat them there’s just to munch firepower he might try but I think he purpose is to kill beast pirates and help wano
Ppl imo are overdoing how important he is. Like the beast pirates need to be taken care of still and he is and he is also helping wano bloom he’s there just to wrap up the rest of the loose ends we have
Do you guys think Nami will be able to ride on Zeus
I...do not think so, but we're just gonna have to wait for further confirmation, after all tenguyama was sukiyaki all along and anime spoiled it since the beginning of wano, we're just gonna have to wait for next few chapters or anime spoiling us again
I wanna know so bad tho. Cuz Oda said the end of Wano will do surprise us. So what more can even happen?
But didnt all the imprisoned daimyos die during their fight vs kaido?
Hey everyone Im new here but I think I have an interesting theory that I have yet to see anywhere on the internet. Would you guys think Luffy’s dad is a Shandorian?
If you have a theory, feel free to share it here and please elaborate on it. Refrain from dropping one liners.
I've seen a theory on that before
Ooo I’d like to read it. Any chance you remember where?
Personally i think luffy's gram gram is--- twitter, somewhere
Oh thats an interesting take, I wouldn’t doubt it. Ive just recently started to rewatch one piece and Im at the Skypeia arc currently. One of the reasons I think Luffy’s dad is from Shandia is because of the tattoos on his face. I noticed all Shandorians (except for the femals) have tattoos on their face. I don’t think Ive seen any other civilizations have tattoos on their face. I know its not much to go off of, but Skypeia is hiding a lot truths
Its almost like Oda wanted to give a glimpse into the void century through the Skypeia arc. Shandia is 400 years old and was attacked (as speculated by Robin). A 400 year old nation that had not been touched by the WG, if someone from that nation (a nation being hidden from the entire world by the WG) were to meddle with WG affairs, they’d probably become the worlds most wanted man.
And who else would lead a revolutionary army if not for someone who has a glimpse into the “true” history. Shandia is probably as pristine of a location as itll get. Every other island was buster called but its not easy to buster call a Sky Island
True, but i always figured Dragon got his hatred of the world goverment from experiencing / witnessing their cruelty
Just as Wyper has hate for the “Gods” of Skypeia, Dragon has hate for the WG
idk, i'm just waiting on oda. Everytime i make an assumption i'm wrong lol
Yeah but I mean luffy lost a lot of fights against Kaido, isn't luffy known to just endure the fights longer until the opponent is exhausted and gets weaker like Katakuri?
I think Garp might’ve went on a mission to Shandia previously and for whatever reason brought kid Dragon with him. It was always weird to me how Dragon was his son and yet they dont bare a resemblance whats-so-ever.
But perhaps with Gear 5 it again changes everything, with gear 5 he rekt him
Then why does Luffy look so much like Garp? Unless you subscribe to the theory luffy's mom is garp's daughter
Yes actually, I was going to say Luffy’s mother is probably from Garps family. But even if that weren’t true.. Roger, Garp, Luffy all bare resemblance just because of their iconic grins.
Wait I thought Dragon is Garps son?
And Roger isnt related through blood (as far as we know)
Gear 4 luffy does look like dragon
Yeah true I just looked up a comparison picture
Yea he is, but if he were his adopted son, that would explain why they don’t look a like. Dragon is a very stoic man, Garp is too but still has a goofy side to him. Shandian warriors all act like Dragon plus the tattoo.. its like too much of a coincidence
Yeah thats true, that could also be possible
Oda drew sixty year old luffy once for an sbs, and luffy was legit a clone of garp
Plus, if you've young garp, their resemblance is also very apparent
Luffy definitely takes to his mothers side (which in this theory would be Garps family) so I dont doubt it!
I just think like, if Dragon is the god of rain (Maybe) and luffy the god of sun, do you guys think that all of these gods have like this kind of mind to destroy the world gov and to liberate the world, the same goal?
The roles the gods plays in one piece is still very vague but I think they’re destined to maintain some sort of balance
I bet Enel would get triggered if he would know that Luffy is a god now haha
Now that you mention Enel, I think he played a bigger role in the story than anyone realizes and its even more so emphasized with recent one piece events. Enel is still alive (and on the moon presumably). With the recent introduction of Lunarians.. why was Enel so obsessed with going to the moon? was he maybe half Lunarian? Or did he possibly know about the void century?
You think Enel is searching for something? Something that might be hidden on the moon?
Enel has for sure a role, he is alive and was so obsessed with the moon and what did he called the moon again? Tale or something?
I think he definitely knows something everyone else doesn’t know. He called it Endless Earth I believe
Yes I think so too, I think even Anime watchers dont know that he is alive, so it might be prepared for a plot twist?
Im watching the first episode Kalgara makes an appearance and he literally sounds just like Dragon
But yes, I think Enel will definitely make an appearance again. With the next arc probably going to be about saving Sabo, all our theories and speculations will be put to the test
I found an interesting Reddit Article about Enel, it start as follows:
-Pluton origin explained below. It is a spaceship that was used by the moon winged people and possibly the minks to go to earth
-minks are from the moon and still exist in space
-minks were first shown in chapter 440 in enel coverstory, not zou
-Ancient kingdom trusted alabasta and they were semi-friendly with the ancient kingdom (basically the garp to roger)
-enel is the ancestral leader of the moon (fairy vearth) since his sky race is the most reminescent of their old home, (naming their city based on the moon city, and passing the legend/folklore of the dream land that is the moon)
All minks can use Electro, including infants and the elderly, and it seems to be common knowledge among them. The inability to produce Electro is a sign of not being a mink, as Carrot indicated by Randolph's lack of the ability to do so." End quote.
So it is an INHERENT ability of the minks, EVEN INFANTS, so we can assume its genetic, not something you learn by practise. this is where it gets interesting. when Enel was on the moon, a SPACE PIRATE attacked one of the robots and SHOCKED IT
etc.
Yea im saying Ark Maxim is potentially an ancient weapon or a prototype of one so I think they got it down in that theory
Also, Shandia is the nation that believes in the god of the RAIN, the god of the SUN, the god of the FOREST and god of the EARTH
its already been confirmed luffy is the sun god Nika..
Yeah in some ways you could argue Franky’s cola is a replacement for Enel’s power generation abilities
Shanks is the son of celestial dragons and he wanted to follow Roger because he was inspired by him. Because he is a celestial dragon in a sense he can talk to the eldera.
And I thought that Skypia was nothing special, now it all makes more sense
I loved Skypeia when I first watched it. I thought it was bizzare people were actually SKIPPING it. I think thats why I haven’t really seen too many theories that are based out of the Skypeia arc. And now with the knowledge we have since then, rewatching it is absolutely mind blowing. Its like the one piece of the puzzle that we needed to connect all the dots..
Yeah I agree, now I want to re-watch it! I think its been years like 5 or longer since I watched it
And now it also makes sense why the Minks transform on full moon
Oda foreshadowing since Skypeia.. this man is a theatrical and storytelling genius.
He really is! And I like his style of drawing the admirals of real people
All Shandorian males have tattoos on their face
However, this does give me an idea. Dragon's tattoo could still be referencing the people of the sky/moon, such as Shandians or Lunarians.
We also know he has the ability to control the weather around him.
What if HE is Uranus, ancient weapon of the sky?
Touché, however the trademark of Shandorian males are the tattoos on their faces. Perhaps you need to earn them?
Power questions like this go in #also-manga
Got you
what if green bull gonna use his awakening to bring life to the land of wano plants and trees
He is doing it already without really giving it too much thought, look at the Udon from outside panel in the 1053
GB fight is going to be good for Wano, idk how intentional its going to be from Aramaki himself tho, might just be a byproduct of his fruit
I have a theory that the when

Place your bets:
Lucky Roo has a super speed devil fruit.
Or
Lucky Roo is just using roukishi.
Roukishi
Roukishi
personally, I think Greenbull will not fight but... I feel something will happened with Robin
@pure raven
Not really a theory but just a thought about armament haki.
Zoro's haki has a purple shade to it, and his Ryou is purple. As well as Vergo and many others
Luffy's haki is red tinted and his Ryou is red as well.
Why is Luffy's different? Is there other shades of armament?
I don't think the anime's haki colors mean much
right
unless author stated.
News papers have reached Wano, Luffy will see or hear from Green Bull what happened in the outside world. Aka what happened to Sabo
Actually I think there are things that are called Haki natures. I say this because when Ace went to Drum island apparently it stopped snowing which was deemed impossible.
Another thing was when Mihawk visited Shanks, shanks was in a hangover mood and the weather was dark and extremely cloudy. But when his mood changed due to knowing about Luffy the whole sky cleared up. There are people such as Vista and Zoro that can manipulate their haki to display things like flowers or illusions of other beings or themselves.
Ace was stated to be fiery by nature by Shanks himself. Despite Luffy not knowing what Haki is pre TS BB claimed that his haki was improving. I think Haki may always be present in someone and can always learn to call it forward as well.
It stopped snowing because he was a flame logia.
When dragon came to goa a wind storm was gathering over the kingdom.
It's a logia thing not a haki thing
I am not saying that the haki natures have combat abilities but they can affect the surrounding environment indirectly. It would explain how haki clashes between powerful characters can alter the weather. Shanks altered the weather with a mood change.
Shanks didn't alter the weather.
Mihawk meets up with Shanks to talk about Luffy. Episode 45
While Roger was fighting Shiki it was stated that a major storm was convenient enough to defeat someone as powerful as Shiki. You can see the storm started to brew as soon as the confrontation began. It also got wilder as the battle grew more intense.
Zoro supremacy
im rereading and this reminds me of god valley incident
Any theories in what happened to Sabo and Vivi?
I think sabo got captured by the world goverment and idk about vivi
Vivi might be safe for now idk
Both got away, Sabo was probably framed of killing Cobra and kidnapping Vivi but in reality Sabo rescued Vivi
Sabo maybe hiding?
In the last chapter there was a big poster of Sabo which probably means he's either a hero of that country or that's just a big wanted poster
He probably in the revolutionary base wherever it is now after they had to relocate
Definitely not, the revos were as worried as anyone about him
That was during the reverie. It has been weeks. Like a month almost
ok road to laugh tale part 2 was spicy, Oda teasing us what's happening with Sabo and a potential BB vs Shanks. What could've Sabo done to warrant such reactions from Dragon,Koala and Dadan?
None of that was new lol
Given that there's no way Oda's going to kill him offscreen, I believe we are only left with two plausible conclusions:
A. Sabo was framed for what happened in Alabasta
B. He has been captured
Gorosei killing Cobra and framing Sabo feels extremely likely but that makes me think Oda is gonna bamboozle
Yeah, I feel like there's at least somebody else who died instead of Cobra to go along with the attempted murder
Just curious. Can Pluton turn invisible since Pluton is the other name of Hades?
We have no real way to answer that
I have a Bonk Punch theory: he has a devil fruit that lets him turn into a building. This way his monkey ( named Monster ) will climb up it like King Kong. Your thoughts?
Oda would build the tension for no pay off?
What does Hades have to do with being invisible?
i think luffy is actually greybeard re incarnageted and he will get gear 9 soon
Hades' main weapon in Greek mythology was his helm of darkness which allowed him to turn invisible. That being said, I don't think this applies to Pluton.
That mentality is all too common. Someone once wanted me banned (100% seriously) from a manga channel for saying Law might face the immortality surgery question since Oda had explicitly teased it as part of The Ope-Ope no Mi. They were not even willing to accept that it could even be considered a theory. And I had to tell them they were right and I was dropping it like twice before they calmed down and dropped the topic (and it's only because the channel discussion had been killed by this awkwardness).
The notion that this story is written by a human author who uses things like teases to create tension (to release it later) is a huge trigger for some people; no idea why. But having a mod be belligerent with me about it has made me give up on reasoning with them, there's no hope.
I also do think there's a reason why Oda stated that the Op-Op fruit can give somebody immortally, and I think there are two possible candidates of who could have it applied to. The first one that I think is more likely in my opinion is Chopper is mentor that taught him medical studies after Hiriluk passed away which would be Kureha. This is because she is currently 141 and when states here age she is in youthful years or something like that, and as far as we know she is a human and not some unknown race, plus she seems to be unwilling to tell how she is able to stay so young. Also the previous owner/user of the Op-Op fruit had been stated to be a doctor and Kureha is also a doctor and well known at that so the odds are I bet they have met at least one point or another if there weren't friends which I bet they were if she were able to get the surgery for eternal youth. The second candidate is Imu however I don't really see any evidence towards it besides that they are the King /Leader of the Planet/World Government and would have the resources to do so. Another thing I want to mention is that I think it has been done at least once of the surgery for that rumor to even pass around otherwise where would it come from, afterall legends and rumors are only scattered truths or miss interpretations of events.

It’s honestly baffling. In this channel even a year or so back during The Who’s Who fight there was enormous pushback if you suggested there was any twist or significance to Luffy’s fruit. People handwaived the Shanks connection as worldbuilding. No one wanted to accept that a shonen protagonist could have a special power. Go figure
Kind of, but definitely less special than other Shonen's and more so not a fighting ability but his luck (which all Shonen characters have in a way at least majority) and his ability to attract others to his side as stated by Mihawk
Do not reference other series spoilers in this channel
I don't understand what I was spoiling about other series. I only mentioned them. Its fine though I am just curious if we are even allowed to mention them without even spoiling them of their contents
You pointed out that each series you named had a specific thing happening for the main characters
I am not going against your judgement and I am sorry if I am sounding that way I am just clarifying so I don't repeat the mistake again, I probably should avoid even referencing them I am guessing is the be option
That's fine, just don't reference other series so specifically here. We have #other-series for that, you basically just spoiled the origin of the MC abilities for every series you named
I never mentioned their abiliy and I am pretty sure all of those are kind of a given from the first episode or chapter. I am dropping this conversatiton because I don't want to take up your time of moderating and I don't want to come off as rude

just read pt 2 of the road to laugh tale
my theory for the fallout from the reverie is this:
king cobra died, and sabo was blamed for both his death and for kidnapping vivi in the papers. obviously it was someone else, and they are all good.
meanwhile - blackbeard has gone to claim alabasta's ponegylph (or maybe he thinks pluton is there) and has laid waste to the nation - this being the event that the papers allude to.
It ties everything up nicely and sets up the straw hats, sabo and vivi all reuniting at some point
You guys remember the flashback Zoro had in Alabasta where Zoro's master said a true swordsman could cut everything and nothing (or something like that)?
What if Shiryu's fruit awakening is he'd be able to become "nothing" where neither Devil Fruits nor Armament Haki could hurt him and Zoro would have to cut nothingness itself in order to beat Shiryu?
Panda Man has mythical zoan fruit that familiar to Catarina Devon's fruit. He even had a wing of skypain.
What if Bonnie uses her awakened devilfruit to bring back god valley for black beard? It seems like they have a connection which might play into this idk
Do anyone saw the treasure Island arc
Gaimon who came to search for the ultimate trasure in the island got stuck in a chest for 20 years. And the island is full of hybrid animals. All he was doing to make other pirates flee from the island with those animals untill Luffy came and told him to come to see with him. After knowing the truth Gaimon understands that he will stay there with those animals.
I think Kaidou's story resembles with gaimon a lot. After God valley incident, all he was doing waiting for Joyboy with those smile users(same as those hybrid animals).I think in wano's end oda will tell us what one piece truly is.tht could be joyboy's will.
i wonder why the distance is so explicitly mentioned and then again my zoro....
i agree with this take besides the blackbeard thing
why?
i think blackbeard went to whole cake island and not alabasta, reason being, i dont see the reason why big mom wouldnt be yonko anymore its not like anyone took over her whole area that she controls and she still has her crew? and lets say she did die, wouldnt katakuri be a yonko since he now is the head of the crew?
No one from the BM crew is a yonko. It’s unclear how they’re reacting to her defeat or what the future of Tottoland looks like.
What is clear is that Blackbeard isn’t going there. Wherever he’s going, it’s somewhere where he can undermine the marines, and it’s in response to one of the 3 pieces of big news. There’s the death, that likely relates to Alabasta via Cobra, the attempted murder which is likely Sabo, or the warlords.
When the fanbase believed Alabasta held Pluton, that made sense for BB, but even the poneglyph leading to it would be important. However, the urgency with which BB is moving would imply his prize is related to a more actively unfolding situation. Something to do with the warlords feels likeliest, I think, because that would have the most marine involvement. And finally there is Sabo. BB taking custody of him for his fruit or other reasons is certainly on the table. I’m excited to see
but then what happened to big moms islands that are under her control and her crew? why would she loose her status ?
Because she’s probably dead, are you caught up to the manga? We just don’t know what’s going to happen for them. Maybe Kata or Perospero takes over. Maybe they splinter into individual groups without the overwhelming presence of a BM keeping them in line
if they splintered then i understand it, but if they didnt splinter then i dont see how non of them is the new yonko since that would mean they still hold so much control over the new world (unless as said bb went there)
yonko=hold alot of territory in the new world. or not?
A point of mystery yet to be solved... Is how the Gurusei knew that Luffy's fruit would awaken against Kaido?
Why did they care to stop him now and not before?
Is the legend and rumor states that Joy Boy would awaken in Wano, so they went to the conclusion that Luffy's fruit , with Zunesha's presence, could be Nika's and since the rumor said it would rise in wano, put them all in panic? 🤔
do you happen to know which chapter they mention it?
I see the confusion. It’s not necessarily the territory, it’s the power/influence
they needed to have an empire, whatever this is achieved
luffy would count for manpower of thousands of followers more than territories
Someone thinks that now that he is a Yonko that Oda can give to Buggy Worthy Commanders??
He is a clown and there are certain clowns enough famous to make Oda want to introduce them as Buggy subbordinates and even Commanders in the current situation.
They could be **S Class mercenaries **(I doubt that hajrudin group were the only ones) ascended to be his commanders for example..
Oda already created this character PUGGY(working for Buggy) only for One Piece Live Attraction: Phantom(even if Oda created him is not canon in the manga) who is worthy of 200 milions.. Why not a group of strong Clown commanders? **Alvida and the rest have enough with be Buggy Delivery Staff. With one Mr.Satan(Buggy) is enough. He needs strong commanders. **
well he has is two underlings and alvida
They are WEAK.... With only Buggy as Mr.Satan is enough. He needs strong commanders in the current situation.
he does have several mercenaries under him
but they are not going to replace his usual associates
and what it matters is that his overall force is big instead of fitting some commander pattern
Mr.3, Alvida, Richie, Mohji and Cabaji.. Just think in their level.. 5 weak officers that are Mr.Satans too.. Buggy deserves 2-3 strong commanders too for his image. Not only subbordinates without bounties
add caesar clown also
Caesar will probably join the GERMA 66 because he appeared in a cover recently in Whole Cake... For now the only commander that Buggy can obtain is Weevil and fits as his right hand watching weevil level. But I must admit that even if Caesar is weak to be a Yonko commander that he could be one interesting Buggy Pirate member 👍
Weevil was said to be as strong as like young whitebeard wasn't he so I don't think he would be that weak
Who is Blackbeards 10th Titanic Captain?
Oda has avoided showing us who the 10th Captain might be, many think that it might be Urouge or Kuzan but the former would have little impact and the latter would have been revealed by now seeing as it has been mentioned that Kuzan is already a member of the Blackbeard Pirates.
So who is it?
Seeing as Oda loves to reuse old characters and bring them back in later parts of the story, I believe that the 10th captain will be...
Reason #1: How?
As we all saw at the conclusion of the Arlong Park Arc, we saw Arlong being arrested and sent to prison. However, we did not see him in Impel Down alongside Buggy and the Baroque works members. This does not make sense as Impel Down would make the most sense for a Pirate of his level, especially seeing as he was sent there before in the past.
Besides Arlong, we have not seen a single Fishman in Impel Down (Besides Jinbe who is a special case seeing as he is a Warlord).
This makes sense, seeing as Impel Down is an underwater prison, which helps making escaping from the prison tremendously easier, having Fishmen inside would be risky.
This brings up two possibilities:
Arlong was in Impel Down anyways ~> Recruited by BlackBeard
Arlong was in another Prison ~> It is likely that Blackbeard broke into other prisons during the timeskip to strengthen his crew, especially seeing as how successful he was with Impel Down.
I love your theory, Arlong is my favorite OP villain
Okay this is actually so beautiful. What the hell
Reason #2: Why?
Both Pirates' ambitions line up fairly well, Blackbeard feels like the perfect match that would allow Arlong to continue along with his tyranny, providing him with the means necessary, and Arlong would be a fairly useful addition to the crew, seeing as how dangerous and cunning he was back in Arlong Park.
This would also be a classic Oda move, bringing back an old and popular character that he has held off on bringing back in so long. He could have brought him back in Impel Down but he chose not to, I believe that this is because Oda had a greater plan for him, bringing him as this mystery Captain would be a good progression for the character, and an impactful payoff to the mystery for all the readers, seeing as many have been waiting for Arlong to come back to the story eventually
nah Arlong is way too weak
While I like the idea, I just don't see it being realistic. But Oda is Oda and can do what he wants
He could have very well gotten stronger during the timeskip
I mean actually that is fair. He was on par with Luffy at Arlong Park, if he's been training, it wouldn't be even somewhat unreasonable for him to be on the level of the strawhats that would fight him, which would most likely be either Nami or Jimbei
I was talking about Caesar.. My mistake for not add the name in the 2nd part
Blackbeard only wanted the strongest people in ID and with that bounty Arlong could only appear in lv.1 or lv.2.. He is probably in another prison or a place style Punk Hazard(years ago) and the WG is making experiments in Gyojins.. Or even ended as slaves.. Tenrybuitos like Fishmen and other special races.
Oda would only make that to give one rival to Jinbe here and Arlong would need Thousands of Powerups to deserve that position... Despite after see Jinbe fight against Wadatsumi I think that Wolf is fine as Jinbe rival.
I've gone back and forth between who Sanjuan Wolf, Vasco Shot, and Avalo Pizaro are gonna fight
I liked Vasco Shot fighting against Franky because BOTH LIKE DRINK 😆 But Avalo Pizarro.. One theory made me think that it was a cyborg making me even more interested in that
Idk I like the idea of Franky building a huge mech to fight Sanjuan Wolf
Avalo in the manga did not used guns against WB.. According one fan was moving his hands in a weird way like if he has cybernetic improvements and was a cyborg saying that his hands are not a normal human hands
The weird thing is that I have no idea who Brook will fight, but I don't think the final captain will be Brook's combatant
I like Laffite. Both are thin persons with a hat and use a sword staff... Or Doc Q that is like a death god
I like Nami fighting Laffite because she's a weather mage and he looks like a party magician. And then I think Katarina Devon will fight Yamato because they're both big women with inu inu no mis
Nami is used to fight against the rivals WOMEN.. SHe will fight against Katarina
Luffy v BB, Zoro v Shiryuu, Sanji v Jesus, Nami v Katarina, Usopp v Van Augur,
Laffite has WINGS. I wonder if this was made to make him a hard rival for the mugi that will fight against him... Somehow I think that it can be brook
Aight but I think the fact that Katarina and Yamato both have mythical inu inu no mis has got to mean something or maybe I'm just looking to far into stuff
There is still that UNKNOWN KUROHIGUE COMMANDER it would not be more logic that Oda did not revealed this character because it was the Remaining mugi rival?
Chopper v Doc Q, and then after that it gets... difficult. Jinbe, Robin, Brook, Franky, and (?)Yamato(?)'s match ups are the difficult ones since they were all added after the first introduction of Blackbeard and his crew which was similar in size. I think Robin will fight Laffite since they can both fly with wings. Franky will fight San Juan. Brook will fight Pizzaro who might be some tyrant king of Brook's home island or something. Yamato can fight Vasco but I am not 100% sure as to why. Maybe switch Pizzaro and Vasco but IDK.
yeah idk I think it's also hard to speculate in general when we don't know the final captain and we don't know all of their DFs
Ahahhaha. Yeah. These are more or less obvious 😄
What if Robin fought Sanjuan Wolf, I mean her 2 big power-ups in Wano gave her very big forms
If she awakens her fruit she could make anything in the environment... her... holy shid. She could be like "this mountain is now a me clone" and boom; you have a mountain sized robin.
Hey thanks! Here's to hoping it goes down like that!
Hmmmm... After watch her fight against BLACK MARIAH perhaps we should not discard it
this is cool but luffy always crushes the villains dreams so this definitely wont happen
"But this isn't what happened previously" isn't really a good argument against a theory. The story has not been entirely linear in that way.
Mihawk saying his most dangerous ability is getting people to fight on his side makes me believe this is still a possibility. Robin and Franky even started as adversaries to the Straw Hats. Crocodile helped during Marine Ford. Still though just a theory and all opinions are welcome here!
A theory that I have mainly revolves with explaining the oddities of Weevil and how Oda may reveal a plot twist. of Weevil odd origins which is:
Weevil is a failed attempt to clone Whitebeard for the Marines
Lets start off with the evidence
1# His dumbness could be attributed as a child in regards to wanting to avenge Whitebeard, however the main reason for this is due to his "mom" coaching on him what to do, which seems to infer that she has some beef with Whitebeard Pirates. So this sounds normal until you realize the experiments that World Government that were shown in greats lengths in post-timeskip such as the Giant Children'd experimentation and the revelation with Mother Caramel of how the WG willing to do anything in order for getting more power in the Marine, especially after the almost disaseater that was the Marineford War. One thing that a common theme with this is that the people Marine recurited are picked at a **young age ** for one simple reason, there beyond naive and easy to influnce. This fits perfect with how Weevil interacts as he is always coached around by his "mother" and can barely speak cohesnive, not due to dumbness but perhaps the way he was made.
2# Weevil's warlord statistics is a odd statements that is not really explained at the story as with all the other we given good reasons why there considered warlords, well besides Weevil who mainly acts like a bounty hunter as he only hunts the Whitebeard Pirates, unless there more of a reason to give him that status than just strength. A another thing that warlord system gives is protection from other parts and there information leaking out, such as with Doflamingo deal, but what if Weevil itself was a failed experiment? Make perfect sense why they would want to keep it a secret, until they had the force to get rid of the mistakes, which is a common trend of the WG, hence why they waited for Reverie and creation of the new weapon to rival warlords in order to finally confront Weevil.
3#Weevil design is also a another major part of this as it seems odd to why put snitches on him, because they only ever used when there snitches on part that were cutted off, such as Luffy snitch on his face, Zoro on his feet, and Absloam body modifcation, which seeems to be the most similar with Weevil. This could be liek Absalom, he was made using various anotehr human part to make the best WG genetic warrior in order to fight the news ages as they used the strength of Whitebeard as a major part along with another body piece that they believe would fit with the creation of Weevil.
4#Kizaru comment is a odd one as "he possess one very signifant souce of value to us!" makes no sense as there plently of warlord who don't care this status much less explain why they benefit the Marine liek Weevil hunting down the Whitebeard Pirate did, espeically when he metions "as a pirate" as if there a another role that Weevil could have played if paths went differently
5# Similarities with Whitebeard are too apparent, but not in the way Weevil may think as despite the physical differences one defining trait that Weevil has is is unyielding devotion to his family, somethign which is "mother" capitalized on alot which seems odd, as when someone is a son/daughter of someone, they usually don't represent those same personalities traits at all unless there more than leading on to what Weevil truly is, a genetic attempt to make a Marine with Whitebeard Strength and tibits of his personality, perhaps for the regualr intention to make his devotion to the WG rather than this lady that claims to be his mother.
Agreed, it’s pretty obvious that Weevil is some sort of science experiment. Would be fitting if the WG was responsible and he ends up a thorn in their side
One addition thing to metion is that WG does have the capcity to make these sorta human as we seen with the cyberization of Kuma, it could be possible that they used a other body in order to fully caparize on Whitebeard stregth on there new creation in the timeskip for Weevil
Agree in that he is some kind of experiment.. That was made for the Marine a LOT OF DECADES AGO... Oda said that he has 35 years and WB would have 74 years now..
It seems that after Rocks Pirates end the People soon noticed how Strong was Whitebeard and the WG had interest in try to clone him. Marco confirms that WB knows weevil "mom" so she probably stole his blood to create weevil
https://onepiece.fandom.com/wiki/Tequila_Wolf i reaaaaaaaallly hope oda brings this again into the story, i wonder what the purpose of it is. it seems like a really important thing but it was only mentioned once
Tequila Wolf is a country in the East Blue; it is the construction site of a massive bridge, instead of an island. The bridge has been under construction for the past 700 years, upon demand of the World Nobles. The enormous feat is being carried out by various slaves who are either criminals or people from countries that are not allied with the ...
My theory is that the WG is trying to reach Laughtale with it. Because it's impossible to go by normal means.
could be
Idk I feel the wolf is more of a circumvention of the red line rather then laugh tale
Ngl there’s prob a decent ppl from the wg that have seen what’s on laugh tale or at the very least know parts of what’s there. Imu the goresei sengoku and garp
Greenbull will get easily defeated by all 3 captains after he attempts to take Robin. This will show the power of the 3 captains
Yo so theres a scene in the anime (not sure if it’s in the manga) where buggy goes “if I remember right his father is the revolutionary- Dragon. And his grandfather is Garp. And if that’s so… Rayleigh could be his uncle!”
I’m actually seeing this for the first time in a YT funny one piece compilation so I’m not sure what happened after this scene, however this could 100% be a little sneaky thing Oda is doing with Buggy here. Which could end up being true, Rayleigh is Luffy’s uncle. Which would end up meaning that either:
The less likely answer, a) Garp and Rayleigh are brothers, or more probable b) Rayleigh is the brother/father of Luffy’s mother. Just something I thought would be interesting to put in here
I don't know if anyone has mentioned this, but I keep thinking about it. In the manga when we saw Gear 5, there's a part that mentions his heart beat sounding like a drum beat. Would be cool if in the anime it turns out it's the tune of the drums of liberation from that song
https://www.reddit.com/r/OnePiece/comments/8et4qs/theory_not_sure_if_this_was_mentioned_before_but I've posted this theory 4 years ago and it's wild that it still may be true 🤣

Can Buggy be an important guy? Luffy's fruit was a joke and was ridiculous in the start, which made people laugh. Buggy is a clown whose normal purpose is to make people laugh, and his fruit also makes people laugh... Will his fruit have any importance in the series? I would not like if it happens
If it awakens he possibly could be more powerful because his fruit splits himself and if it awakens it could split ground/people and couldpossibly cause seaquakes/earthquakes
Kozuki Sukiyaki is CP0? He's introduced and spends most the time in a mask, in the same arc CP0 start to play an important role. We know Orochi deals regularly with CP0. Cipher Pol don't seem to have a spy on Kaido's side (sword doesn't count). In 1052 the WG say they are confident they can capture Robin, despite the only currently suitable candidate, Aramaki, isn't supposed to be there and wants to capture Luffy, not Robin. And now in 1053 Sukiyaki is alone with Robin. Sukiyaki literally unmasks himself in the same chapter that a cipher pol member acts against the WG for the first time, figuratively unmasking himself. Sukiyaki is generally suspicious, we assume he was kept alive by Orochi to read the ponegliffs but that isn't confirmed. There's also an object-animal devil fruit hybrid created by Vegapunk in Kozuki castle, which have previously always been shown to be on the side of government-affiliated people, which Orochi is not. This would give a new threat to CP/WG as they now have someone that can read the ponegliffs.
He's not part of CP0, Vegapunk isn't the only one who can make devil fruit imbued objects
He's just the only one who's figured out the mechanics behind it
Not my theory but i see it has dropped and the person has not posted it on reddit yet so i will post the video link here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OfyUyd6Jxfk this BLEW MY MIND!!!!!!
Why would one of the Kozuki clan be an ally to WG? If he was he would just deny that pluton's in Wano
seems hard a previous shogun of wano who also risked death would go and become a cipher pol agent for WG and be loyal to them. The only way I could even see it working would be if WG had a plan to overthrow Kaido and he wanted work.
Out of that I see no reason why even would
So does everyone agree that Carrot Yamato and Vivi are the last three members
Why chapter pause at 1053 ? Does 1053 very important number ?
No, only yamato and thats it! 11 is the number, this also matches blackbeards. Vivi has no role and after cobras death she should look after Arabasta.
“Who will join” discussion goes on #manga or #also-manga
I currently believe the world government is ruled by 1 family of a distant Wano family which may involve a deus ex. Either the marine logo is the Wano family logo or its a seagulls wings
We already know which families compose the CDs and we know the Gorosei rule over them. And we also know which families make up the WG Reverie. Which people are you talking about?
At present we only know 2-3 (donquixote, raswald) IIRC families that were part of the original 20;
Im hearing insane theories of Imu being sea god named Umi, an immortal shadow or a devil fruit user that had the op op no mi, something in my spine says its more simple but political that can start a world war....
Based purely on the marine ford logo being a wano family crest, marine ford looks like Wano, "flood piece" and toki's existence. I am working on the assumption that there is a family we have not heard about that are the true rulers with a Oda twist. Its possible Toki is a family member, making Momo an heir which would be funny to me.
It could be "Toki" on some FF8 Sorceress Edea type idea but that would involve future timeline. Time travel breaks things too much.
Its a stretch i know. Still exploring
What "marineford" logo are you saying looks like a Wano crest?
The thing that looks like a Seagull. (Sorry, cant paste links) Not the World Government logo
tbh I think the logo looking like a seagull somehow being related to the kozuki crest is just way too much of a stretch to consider. There's really no other evidence, unless I'm missing something
No, not Kozuki, a totally different family that is part of the 20; we've never heard of that left wano just like Tokis family.
I tried finding youtube videos or posts about it but everyone seems dedicated to the idea that imu is an alien. I guess im crazy because when I look at marine ford I see a giant wano building with a clan crest in the middle. It could be that "its a japanese manga" and a seagull.
So you're saying the marineford logo looks like a crest we haven't seen before, and this family is imu?
Yes. At an even further stretch, Toki's family from 800+ years ago.
There's no evidence against that, but there is also no evidence in favor of it. So all we can really do is shrug our shoulders and say "yeah maybe"
Search "Marine Ford" into google images and let it fly, in 5 years theres a 99.99% im proven wrong. Although I ate tacos for lunch and Marine Ford looks pretty wanoy to me.
I see the logo, I know what you mean. I'm just saying I don't see the connection very strongly. Especially when Seagulls are kind of symbolic of sea-travel as a whole
Why not have the world government logo there? Oda just wanted something different?
Maybe its just the "marines" logo specifically and im seeing things. But Marine Ford + New Marine ford is messing with my eyes and its an "M" 😄
I think you're stretching extremely far, but I agree it is fun to think the way you are thinking. There is essentially zero info about Imu, so sky is the limit.
I theorize that usopp is actually the second coming of gol d roger
The most I could see about the actual Marines logo would be it being translated to a pair of Moons
Seems me bit unlikely have it tied to Wano but nothing prove it neither disprove it so far
New Marineford actually make me think of a pelican altough the japanese wall castle is still there but I feel that was design choice
Japanese architecture has been present since the beginning of One Piece, it has no indication that marineford and wano have some significant conncetion
Toki dress has a moon with a seagull in the middle. I'm gonna head cannon this until Oda proves otherwise; purely because I think it would be hilarious and I can feel like an elite being the 0.01% that thought it :)
I love it when the community has their expectations subverted and a large chunk pretends as if they saw it the whole time. Its glorious one piece!
There is definitely one family we know of and know nothing about……D
Could be.
I currently subscribe to "Flood Piece" theories, every 800 years the planets align to flood Gaia who may also be sentient like sunny. The ancient kingdom could be anything, pangea before it split apart, Gaia may even be the ancient kingdom and maryjoa was the capital, even another planet that everyone sucked all the resources from before "willing" another planet into existence or migrating to it
:-)
this is not really a very serious theory but in the first chapter we know conquerors was introduced but there are two other moments that look like they can be shanks using observation and armament. The first is when the mountain bandits came to the bar and shanks offered them the last bottle they had and they hit shanks on the head while smashing the bottle to pieces. Right after it you can see shanks perfectly fine without any scratches or bleeding but just wet which could be him using armament potentially. The other time is when Luffy got caught by the bandits and after the red hair pirates came, Higuma took luffy and set a smoke screen to which shanks yells out that he couldnt tell where he went cause he was off guard. We know you need to be calm and focused to use observation fully so it could be another instance of haki since chapter 1. This is all just me pulling at strings tho lol
Luffy still has the Gomu Gomu no Mi
Lately, I've been considering the idea of mythical zoans being devil fruit eating people/animals that got turned into fruits themselves. And they might all be the nakama of Joyboy.
Several of the mythical zoans we've seen have powers similar to other paramecia or logia types in the verse.
Some examples:
Yamato's ice powers resemble Aokiji's powers.
Catarina Devon's powers resemble Bon Clay's powers.
Marco's powers resemble Ace's powers (though this one is a bit of a stretch, I'll admit).
I believe Luffy's fruit is that of a Lunarian named Nika who ate the Gomu Gomu no Mi during the void century. And just like Imu has the original straw hat, she/he might also have the original Gomu Gomu no Mi.
Wano borders!
What if opening the borders of wano awakens all of these mythical zoan fruits? And what if they're all the nakama of joyboy who agreed to meet again in wano?
I say this because:
- These mythical zoans seem to mostly land in the hands of pirates and wano inhabitants (Sengoku being the only exception).
- 6 out of 8 of them are currently present in Wano.
- Zunesha....... He is a confirmed nakama of Joyboy. Would it surprise anyone if he was revealed to be a mythical zoan user?
- Funnily, Kaido (a mythical zoan user) has been waiting for the return of Joyboy with King... in Wano.
This theory could also explain why Luffy still named his attacks after the Gomu Gomu no Mi despite having a Human fruit.
Thoughts on this? I know it's a little tin foil... but I have a feeling it's a good start to figuring something important out, but again maybe I'm wrong ab that
OOO this sounds super interesting
I was actually just playing with a similar thought. Of if someone with a DF gained enough of a mythical status to be considered nothing but a myth, a God, etc, could they potentially create a new mythical zoan devil fruit
I dislike the idea that a devil fruit is responsible for "everything"; Oda has been clear, he does research with the intent to subvert readers for his own amusement....
We've also seen that the word "God" has a very loose meaning in the world of OP.
@cerulean geyser Do you happen to have the link the video?
@unborn ore Yeah! It makes a lot of sense tbh. I was also considering how the only 'mythical' creatures we've seen that weren't from devil fruits were
- the smiley Caesar created
- the two live dragons that were on punk hazard that vegapunk created
- Vegapunk's recreation of Kaido's fruit.
And two of these ended up being devil fruits.
Yeah, wasn't trying to say a devil fruit is responsible for everything. Just wondering on how mythical devil fruits are even possible and if belief is enough to create a mythical devil fruit, then theoretically could new devil fruits be created with if new myths gain enough traction
Hey y’all would anyone be willing to entertain this theory I’ve been working really hard on? I haven’t gotten one comment so far and I think there’s something seriously here.
With the revelation that the Gomu Gomu No Mi name is a lie, everything is up for grabs. I'd be happy to settle on Imu being Gaia 😉
I’ve got it all written out on Reddit but it has to do with Okinawa/Ryukyu mythology which all mention a sun god and a paradise below the sea that I think could be a parallel for Laugh Tale. I have a bunch of books and journal articles about the mythology.
Could be but this opens just as many questions as it answers. There are soo many Sun/Moon, Dusk/Dawn parallels its difficult to pick a single one without concrete lorevidence. We still dont truly know
What the name of the ancient kingdom is and why?
Why does the government care about Laugh Tale?
Why are Celestial Dragons so incompetent? (at least tghe ones we see)
etc 😄
