Dragon or rather the Revolutionaries planned to officially declare war to the World Government during the Levely. Unclear if Kuma was part of the plan. Therefore the only option regarding what could have occurred to Sabo is him having been captured or at least claimed to be. Else the shock by the Revolutionaries leadership, Dandan or Makino couldn't be explained. His death could easily be confirmed with a Vivre Card and the Revolutionaries surely have for each commander one vivre card. Dragon said that the information must be confirmed, so they can't do it themselves. Everything points to capture or claimed to be captured.

Law wasn't awakened during Dressrossa, where he came near-death to some degree. So, yeah a fight at the limit seems to trigger it. Kid also had some rough battles against Shanks, Kaido and Big Mom Pirates commander.

I wanna drop my thoughts on Luffy's DF.. so now we know that the DF has a different NAME but isn't that doesn't make any sense.. I mean anyone will eat the DF will know it's name and abilities as state earlier, right? And there's Zunesha, why he recognize/feel Joyboy presence within Luffy/DF just after his death/awakening.. So my speculation is that WG indeed dose change the DF name and it's abilities/nature. I really think that Vegapunk change Joyboy DF nature to gomu gomu no mi by missing with the lineage factor of the DF but not completely erase the original devil within the DF.. but more like suppressing the original devil with gomu gomu no mi power's.. this could explain why Zunesha was able to sense Joyboy.. maybe after the death of Luffy the gomu gomu no mi devil exit Luffy's body as any DF.. but not the original devil and somehow was able to bring Luffy back. Or after the death of Luffy the original devil takes over and that's why Zunesha felt Joyboy presence at that moment.. so the killing order was eliminate Luffy thinking they just can search for the DF after the devil flies from Luffy's body and suppress it's nature again.. this could open up many speculations about Teach abilities and how he managed to wield two or maybe more DF's...

I think: The truth about the D roger spoken of would go like this: One D. will one day be the one to complete the story of Joy, D Boy (roll with me), two D together would make an Ø. This can be linked to both the world with red line, and the face of someone wearing a hat.
Above the two parts would form One piece, the story being concluded, starting from Joy Boy, ending with Luffy.

I think the conclusion would draw a world assigned to freedom, fraternity, and equality.
It doesn't serve the Gods interest, Imu can't have that.

PS : Maybe the D. are descendant of people who knew Joy Boy, he would survive through their memory.
Perhaps Joy Boy, when he died, released a form of conqueror haki, that, instead of knocking people down, inspired them, like Roger did.

Wonder if the family of D. was also the natural enemy of the Lunarians ('gods')? As I see it, we have seen far different ambitions by those caring it: Xebec seeking 'King of the World', Ace & Saul sacrificing themselves to rescue a person important to them, Gol to become King of the Pirates and finish Joyboy's work by starting a new pirate Age, Trafalgar finding out about the VC, Luffy becoming Pirate King.

But I agree that Joy Boy seem to have anticipated sth or rather that someone inheriting his will gonna finish his work. Yet, I still find the connection to the D. very unclear.

So, given that I'd say you could have Dream or possibly Devil too, maybe even 2 clans that are Dawn and Dusk since blackbeard is a D member but is the complete opposite of what luffy stands for. Point is that there is heavy symbolism of the world government's rule as a 'night' and the bringing of the Dawn, luffy potentially being SUN god nika, etc.

I have been thinking about a theory the recent weeks here it goes: Oda almost is going to finish with this arc as sooner than later and during the recent events we have speculated plenty of endings for this war, Kaido definitely is not going to die by Luffy's hands but it a huge possibility that this characher has his claimed death in different scenarios could happen and different characters could do it but the most interesting scenario is Kaido being defeated due to the importance and consequences which it comes to One Piece and the Fandom. An honorable defeat by a power up could be even much sadder than an honorable death. Another scenario is the arriving of Marines to Wano coasts and jail the pirates, the third one would be Luffy gets Kaido off and Wano is free of tyrany, the fourth one would be Luffy gets a "state of unconscious" he awakens his DF and a huge power but after finish with Kaido, he can't remember at all about that state or how to activate it.
