My point being is:
Sengoku was given context because it was helpful here having these people understand their decisions. It was simply a nice gesture nothing more as these people would have followed either way. It was also to unterstand the severity of this situation.
Sengoku in his years as a fleet admiral couldnt have told them about it as he was bounded by his responsibility and duty to his role being loyal to the WG since this was a taboo topic. It also wouldnt have been relevant so why focus on telling a dead mans tale?
