Theory. Dreams never die, but it’s equally true for good dreams and bad dreams (good-will / bad-will). Will can be passed down (not by genetics, but literally inspiring others with your dream). My argument is that only luffy, sabo and ace(kids at the time), Oden(literally admired roger and enamored with their partying/fighting), and shanks( knows almost everything about the world, and he decides to place his bet on luffy?) didn't laugh initially. I mostly still believe in the party theory, and it’s because whitebeard laughs at roger, and says its a child's dream.

So the moon in the first-quarter and third-quarter irl have two halves, a light and dark or dawn/dusk. The world lived in the “dusk” during the void century, some massive war happened, then the world government was formed and they entered a kind of twilight before the dawn of the world, and the (probably luffy) joyboy will to the dawn of the world. I also think that blackbeard will try to plunge the world into another dusk and that's why shanks is concerned, because blackbeard’s a monster with 2 dfs, possibly more, who inherited xebecs will.

As for the one piece, it’s a physical object(hopefully a bottle of sake) along with Roger's fortune.

Imu stopped joyboy from delivering the sake to bink, then usurped the world for the celestial dragons/world government, used pluton to wipe everything out (void century is the record of service, pluton roamed the earth for 100 years and literally wiped islands from existence and used the gov’t to cover it all up). Joyboy was a pirate king of the ancient kingdom, and I will bet that Imu killed him because Joyboy “stole” the sake from Imu to share with Bink, but Imu said his dream was trash and killed him: then he hid the straw giant straw hat (original joyboy) in the holy city but Bink remembered joyboy,made a new straw hat (maybe he met a kid one day that shared joy boys dream and its just been passed on as a symbol of his dream).

My personal "theory" was always that Kaido expected Yamato to be male, but she was born female. He was hard on her because of this when she was a child, which messed with her mind and is why she was that impressed by Oden, to the point she wanted to become him.

Going off of the whole Yamato gender idea, I was thinking that because dragons are often depicted as genderless throughout history, maybe Oda gave Kaido that same mindset/background. So he wouldn’t even view Yamato as his daughter or son as how traditional gender values define those terms, but only sees Yamato as his child and son or daughter literally has the same meaning to him.

His crew isnt strong enough, not even the grand fleet is, unless luffy were to break out incredibly early and join the battle the straw hats would get washed.

And even then, luffy could handle maybe akainu, that leaves garp, the other 3 admirals, smoker, kobe (who i would assume is worth something), and many many other powerful marines, that luffys crew probably cannot defeat.

Smoker kobe arent exactly large threats for the heavier hitters but i dont see zoro beating an admiral anytime soon
