I get it! One Piece is actually whatever the finder wishes it to be! It's all about dreams in the end, isn't it? Devil fruits are manifestations of people's dreams, people's dreams never end, fire festival in wano, etc. Rayleigh said to Robin "it's possible you'll arrive to a different conclusion than us once you find it", hasn't he? Roger followed the poneglyph trail and got mesmerized by the persona of joyboy that he wished he learned his full story, and that's what he got when he arrived there. BB when finds it it's gonna make him the king of the world, buggy if finds it it's gonna be the biggest pile of gold and diamonds the world has ever seen, luffy if finds it it's gonna be the world's biggest party where people can eat and drink and have fun all they want and be free, it all clicked.
I think if it could just grant a wish, Roger wouldn’t have been too early
Welp either big haki blasts or a random large scale attack
hey wanna become friends
whos interested in arts
guys u think katakuri could eat his own Mochi?
😭😭
what??
maybe katakuri might have made some of big moms cakes
I don't see it happening but I hope Loki has a devil fruit copying ability
It's more likely gonna be some awakened mythical zoan since there's plenty in Norse mythology but a DF copy ability for Loki who is supposed to be a trickster in myth would be insane
Especially if he can store and use different ones he's come across whenever he wanted
oden said vast treasure then combine that with the tale of joyboy
Dont forget that in asia theres a saying "Knowledge is treasure","Knowledge is the ultimate Wealth","Inside Books There are golden Houses"
and from what Ive seen it seems like anything from the series so far. Anyone that had knowledge is always considered a threat to the world government.
the conclusion from the most recent chapters is that the one piece treasure is most likely the eternal flame
maybe that's what above enies lobby that makes it always daytime there? it could fit the other piece of theory that the hole there was made by the same weapon that destroyed lulusia, except it did it 800 years ago
That's what I also think it is but more specifically the sun but not the sun sun
.
Eternal flame essentially
Too much sun imagery and references in the story for it not to be imo. But it's essentially just an eternal flame
If you really think about it, limitless energy pretty much wraps up all the plot points of the story
Luffy with nika fruit and his heartbeat giving this mysterious energy to Emet really sold me more on the idea
Imagine the energy given off by the actual heart(beat) of the actual god nika
That could probably power the whole world like vegapunk was trying to do with the motherflame
No more war for energy - "One sea at peace"
solution to mankind indeed
Roger couldn't use it for it's purpose because it needed the joyboy reincarnation (the one who awakens the nika fruit, luffy) to be utilized or activated or something
Oden called it vast because the treasure essentially gives you the world in a sense which is vast
I do think it might be related to the sun as people note. Consider the Sunlight Tree Eve, which I believe is creating light by pulling from downwards. It doesnt need sun to live like a normal tree. It is the sunlight tree, it can create/pull from within the earth all the light it needs.
For some reason I feel like this is related to it but from blackbeards side
I think it's the sunlight tree eve in the mural we saw. It doesn't look much like the adam tree
We know the roots of the eve tree stretched all the way to Fishman island and the eve tree looks like it's made up of those
Which would match the mural more
The great trees have their roots reach all the way into the underground.
The Yarukiman Mangrove trees are smaller, and their roots go down into the ground beneath the sea.
if it was food or gold i don't think oden would call it a treasure
he grew ricch had everything he wanted except adventure
Knowledge could be a lot of things. But Im not saying that its knowledge alone. But like I said on my previous theory it could be something related to the technology on the moon
But also I think people are not looking at the treasure on all perspective. A lot of people are looking at it as “The End Game” rather than “The Key to the End Game”
I think it is either the aincent piller things or its just be like Ohara, the land of archaeology and books
You think the titular treasure of the series is gonna be some books
i dont know why, but i think its egg of an serpent
Anyone got any theories on how Gaban did the impossible?
I think scopper gabans real name was Scopper D. Gaban . He just doesnt have the D anymore because he gaved it all to Ripley.
That's fairly ac curate.I almost don't want to share my theory anymore.
He used up all the remaining Will of D that he had just to tap that
It would seem worth it, until he reminds himself how vast & bountiful the sea really is. "Tunnel vision" Now the walls are cavin' in around him.
He's definitely a retired player. That's lucky

Add these 3 things from Oda’s story idea “Forward” from when he was 19yo and you get Scopper Gaban
So
i think im ON TO Something
Chapter 1096
Next to Garling we see a figure whose face is hidden with a mask
That Figure with that Hair does remind me a lot of Gunko
i mean its probably not her .. BUT depending How old she really is it could be her ... or someone affiliated with her
We’ve seen that type of mask a few times now. Big Mom’s childhood friend and the cp0 agent.
Is it a gas mask? Does it mean something?
Is this coloring official or fan made? Blue hair and a mask that could be hiding a bulbous nose maybe???
Buggy’s parent?
i dont know if it is official coloured
It’s not
Everything i found similar fromJoyboy to luffy-
Luffy is nika joyboy also was showed being nika
Luffy is a pirate just like joyboy
Nika laughs when fighting, similar faces are shown of joyboy and luffy
The three weapons are obtained by joyboy and luffy has befriended two of them.
Let me know if anything else is left
One more potential piece of evidence for this theory that I wanted to mention is that Killer's representative flower is a snowdrop. This is a flower that always has 3 petals. Or at least, snowdrops may seem like they only have 3 petals, but what's seen on the inner portion are also considered petals, 3 more petals to be exact.
This could reflect the character as well. Just as his mask has three blue lines streaked across where his eyes would supposedly be, including a stripe right down the middle, once the mask is taken off, there will be 3 of something right where those lines are on the inside as well-- a third eye.
The dosundada's are likely named after the rhythm of Joyboy's heartbeat
Likely a race who love to dance and hit their drums to the beat of liberation
I post this every once in a while, but I think Buggy is heading to Wano. He knows the 4 road poneglyphs are in Wano, Whole Cake Island, and Zou. He may not know about Fishman Island's being in the Man Marked by Flames hands.
So why Wano. Well I think both Shanks and Scopper have made clear that they wanted to visit, mostly for Hiyori and Momo from Shanks statements (not knowing about the time travel shenanigans), but were not able to do so because of Kaido. Now that Kaido's gone Scopper says he wants to visit, but I think this is supposed to hint that another Former Rodger Pirate is heading there.
To make matters easy for Oda Buggy going to Wano would give the Cross Guild a serious statue worth of the three Emperors as he could get 1 Road Poneglyph in Wano, a second from Inurashi and Nekomushi giving them access to Zou.
To go further at least 1 ex-warlord who is expected to join Cross Guild in Moria has heavy ties to Wano and could meet up with the Cross Guild there.
However the most important element is someone who can read the Poneglyphs in Hiyori (as part of the Kozuki line) joining Buggy.
but one think i don't understand all the pirates having poneglyph means nothing because they can't translate it if i am wrong sorry
In the present world only robin can read ponglyph
I hereby claim that we will get a "1600 years ago" flashback sooner than we will get the "800 years ago" one!
It'll be more simple and funnier than that
Its gonna be a friendly shanks interaction and shanks shares his copies of them he got from Kidd and buggy will be like "it was that easy?"
But he has no way to read them
lol
Useless
we still need to resolve the buggy and captain john's treasure side plot thing
I wonder if Oda still remembers that was a thing
but what if he found it in the 2 years of timeskip and it's what granted him the fortune to hire strong pirates in the new world for his org? there are many events that happened in that period - like the rocky port incident.
I feel like it would have been mentioned
But its basically just assumed he got as strong as he did because basically he has all the impel down people following him, and he borrowed money from crocodile to start his mercenary business
the money part is confirmed
Thats what Nekko told Robin too, pirates will eventually hunt for her so she needs to be strong enough to protect herself or she's at least in a strong crew so yeah!
I thought buggy lost the map? When was it last seen?
luffy got the bracelet from thriller bark and wore it up until impel where he gave it to buggy
no mention of it since
was there a map idr that lol
I mean the bracelet was a map pointing to the treasure
ahh i see i guess they call it a map
i feel like oda dropped that
and if he didnt and it somehow has significance later that would be goated
with the help of that map he found a trasure and became a warlord i think
He got invited to be a warlord right after marineford
but about treasure it was mentioned somewhere i think i couldn't remeber it maybe it was on the movie where luffy was training and helped boa
can i post a theory if its 15k characters long and will appear in the form of a downloadable txt file or whatever
Been wondering if the Oykot Kingdom has a deeper connection to then just pirates destroying it. As we know, its the birth place of Nami, thats about it. What if there is more to it, in the live action which yes not a direct connection to the Main story, still has the plot points as the main serieis, shows a map of the island. The island looks a little like a serpantine monster. We know how important serpant like creatures are in the world of one piece, especially after the release of the 3 worlds murual.
My theory being, what if it wasn't just pirates, but another situation of the world government hiding or destorying evidence. We know that the scholers of Ohara were killed because they tried to reach knowlage they shouldn't have, and in that same branch; what if Nami's parents were succesful map drawers and weather forcasters. We know that Nami has the genius of both fields and if she got that from her biological parents, it makes sense. Her parents saw that the world isn't normal. That the patterns of how the weather moves and the rise of sea levels and maybe even maps of island long forgoten. All things that point towards something unnatural and manmade. Pointing towards the direction of a deeper secret to how the world works. The world government wouldn't want that sort of idea or even knowlage to be researched and had the island go through a war, or a conflict.
It does seem like a stretch because, why not just destroy the island, or do another Ohara situation. But maybe the reason why the demolition wasn't so drastic was because the problem wasn't deemed as serious. Or even that the reason why it wasn't just a full island destory or Ohara buster call, was because it would be more entertaining to the world nobles to watch chaos rein and watch people die.
Hey everyone! so I don’t really have a theory but I do wanna compare this mural & story to Aztec mythology and maybe you can see its similarities and come up theories of your own!! :))
COMPARING ONE PIECE TO AZTEC HISTORY!
Referenced from ThoughtCo.com
The Aztec Creation Myth and the Legend of the Fifth Sun!
This myth describes how the world was created, there are many different versions of it because it was passed down through oral tradition.
- An oral tradition where information is passed from one generation to the next in the absence of writings or a recordings. In the days before near-universal literacy, bards would sing or chant their people's stories to keep the history or culture of the people alive, and since it was a form of storytelling, it was a popular form of entertainment. (Quoted)
To the Aztec people (The people of the Sun) their world has been created and destroyed 4 times before and are now living in the fifth.
During each of the 4 previous cycles, different gods governed the earth and then destroyed it. These worlds were called suns.
In the beginning the creator god gave birth to four sons, the Tezcatlipocas of the East, North, South, and West.
These sons eventually created Cipactli, a massive part fish and part crocodile.
From this enormous creature the universe was created: the 13 Heavens stretch into her head, Earth was created in the middle, and her tail reaches down to the Nine Underworlds.
- Tlaltechutli (Goddess of the Earth or "The one who give and devours life") Tlaltecuhtli destroyed everything the Gods were creating, so the gods turned into giant serpents and tore Tlaltecuhtli's body into two pieces! (Two Piece?) One piece (Hey, that sounds familiar!) of Tlaltecuhtli's body became the earth, mountains, and rivers, her hair the trees and flowers, her eyes the caves and wells. The other piece became the vault of the sky. The gods Quetzalcoatl and Tezcatlipoca gave the gift of providing humans with whatever they need from her body, but it was a gift that didn't make her happy, so she angrily devours the sun every evening and gives it back the next day. (Quoted)
After the world was created, the gods gave light to humans. But to do this, a sacrifice is required to begin renewal. So one of the sons had to sacrifice himself by leaping into a fire!
The First Sun:
Black Tezcatlipoca of the West (4 Tiger) -
God of Night, Lord of the Smoking Mirror.
He became an incomplete half-sun.
In this world, giants were created from ashes and given acorns to eat. But in a fight between brothers the sun was knocked from the sky and in anger Tezcatlipoca sent jaguars to destroy the giants.
The Second Sun:
White Quetzalcoatl of the East (4 Wind) -
Feathered Serpent God, “Human-Loving”
In this world, humans were created and given piñon nuts to eat. Tezcatlipoca wanted to be Sun and threw Quetzalcoatl off his throne. This world came to an end through catastrophic hurricanes. The few survivors fled to the tops of the trees and were transformed into monkeys.
- The fight between Quetzalcoatl and Tezcatlipoca began in the legend of the mythical city of Tollan. Quetzalcoatl was a peaceful king and priest of Tollan, but he was deceived by Tezcatlipoca and his followers, who practiced human sacrifice and violence. Ultimately, Quetzalcoatl was forced into exile. (Quoted)
A sacrifice of a boy!
- A boy and his entourage traveled to the Templo Mayor in Tenochtitlán (Temple in Mexico City), as he walked up the stairs of the temple he played music with four flutes that represented the world's directions; he would destroy the four flutes on his way up the stairs. When he reached the top, a group of priests carried out his sacrifice. A new boy was chosen for the following year (Quoted)
The Third Sun:
Huizilopochtli of the South (4 Rain) -
God of Rain and Fertility, hummingbird.
In this world, dominated by water and its ruler Tlaloc; where its people ate seeds that grew in the water. This world came to an end with a great flood and the survivors became turkeys, butterflies, and dogs.
Tlaloc was thought to live on the top of the mountains, his most sacred shrine is located on the top of Mount Tlaloc, an extinct volcano located east of Mexico City.
The Fourth Sun:
Goddess Chalchiuthlicue (4 Water) -
She of the Jade Skirt, Goddess of the Sea, Patroness of navigation.
- Chalchiuhtlicue is portrayed wearing a serpent headdress and dress ornaments with the same markings as Tlaloc, and her half-moon nose ornament is the serpent itself, marked with stripes and dots. (Quoted)
In this world, still dominated by water, where its people ate maize. Another great flood ended the world and all the people were transformed into fish.
- After the 4th world ended, the gods gathered to decide who had to sacrifice themselves to make a new world. So the old fire god - Huehuetéotl made a bonfire, but none of the most important gods wanted to jump in. The rich and powerful god Tecuciztecatl - Lord of the Snails - hesitated, but during his hesitation the humble and poor Nanahuatzin (“full of sores") leaped into the flames and became the new sun. However, Tecuciztecatl jumped in after him to become a second sun. The gods realized that two suns would overwhelm the world, so they threw a rabbit at Tecuciztecal and he became the moon. The two celestial bodies were set in motion by Ehecatl, the god of the wind, who fiercely and violently blew the sun into motion. (Quoted)
The Fifth Sun:
Tonatiuh (4 Movement) -
Sun God, Warrior
- The name Tonatiuh came from the Aztec verb "tona", which means to shimmer, to shine, or to give off rays. (Quoted)
According to Aztec beliefs, this world is said to be the current world they’re living in, and it’s prophesied that this world would come to an end through earthquakes and all the people will be eaten by sky monsters. So the Aztecs therefore had to “nourish” the Sun God through blood offerings and sacrifices. Failure to do this would cause the end of their world and the disappearance of the sun from the sky!
The New Fire Ceremony
On the last day of their calendar cycle,
- The Aztec Calendar Stone (Piedra del Sol) is an enormous basalt (volcanic rock) disk covered with hieroglyphic carvings of calendar signs. The stone, currently on display at the National Museum of Anthropology in Mexico City!
the Aztec priests would climb the Star Mountain - Cerro de la Estrella - and watch the rise of the Pleiades
- “The Pleiades” is a star cluster that makes its best appearance in the night skies in November, when they're up from dusk to dawn. (Quoted)
to ensure it followed its normal path. There a sacrifice is made where a fire drill is stabbed through the heart of the sacrifice, if the fire drill couldn’t be lit the Sun would be destroyed forever! If there was a successful fire it was then brought to Tenochtitlan to relight hearths
- A hearth is a stone-lined fireplace in homes.
throughout the city. This ceremony was conducted every 52 years in villages throughout the Aztec world.
The Underworld
All humanity was drowned and so after the creation of the fifth sun, Quetzalcoatl descended into the underworld (Mictlan) to negotiate with the god of the underworld (Mictlantecuhtli) to return humanity's bones to the earth. When Mictlantecuhtli proved unwilling to give them back, Quetzalcoatl stole the bones. In his hasty retreat, he was startled by a quail (a small cute bird, funny that he was startled!) and tripped and broke them (which is why humans come in a range of different sizes), but managed to carry the bones to the paradise of Tamoanchan, where the goddess Cihuacoatl ground them up and placed them in a jade bowl. Then Quetzalcoatl and other gods performed the first self-sacrifice when they shed their blood over the bones and endowed them with life, thus lumbering humanity with a debt that had to be repaid by abundant human sacrifices!
- Day of the Dead (Dia de Muertos) was originally a religious festival for the Goddess of the Underworld, Mictēcacihuātl (Lady of the Dead) She was sacrificed as an infant so she now watches over the bones of the dead. To user in the dawn she opens her mouth to swallow the stars. (Quoted)
Fellow Mexican One Piece fans I’m sure you feel as much pride as me to have Luffy’s live-action actor to be from Mexico!
So how does all this relate to One Piece?
Well I did this basic research after the official translation of chapter 1138 was released and the mural was such a STUNNING reveal, so I couldn’t help myself ahaha!
In the official translation of chapter 1138 the words in the mural are written cryptically but oda always been the type to choose his words carefully so what stands out to me is the names of each of the “characters” from the Harley Texts Robin is reading from.
The First World
Within the earth there was fire.
Mankind succumbed to greed and touched the forbidden sun.
The enslaved prayed, and the sun god appeared.
The earth god raged, and with its serpent of hellfire, shrouded the world in death and darkness.
And they will never meet.
The Second World
Within the void there was breath.
The forest god tamed demons and the sun spread the fires of war.
Those of the half-moon dreamed.
Those of the moon dreamed.
Man killed the sun and became god, and the sea god stormed.
And they will never meet.
The Third World
Within the chaos there was emptiness.
The inconvenient remnants recall the promised day and hear the voice of the half-moon.
The sun god dances and laughs, guiding the world to its end.
The sun returns and brings a new morning.
And they will surely meet.
Now I don’t know how accurate the words are, since words can have more than one meaning in the Japanese language, so what sounds like names to me are highlighted, but might not be the actual case.
How come he uses these “characters” as if they are different?
Sun God vs. The Sun vs. Forbidden Sun
Earth vs. Earth God vs. Forest God
Half-Moon vs. Moon
Mankind vs. Man
Enslaved, Serpent of Hellfire, demons, and god all sound like titles?
It feels like they are separate entities right?
I may be overthinking it or over analyzing but it has to give some context or sort of clues to what’s next for the storyline right?
Maybe it can give a hint to what direction Oda is going to take? Or I could be wasting my time lol.
Now I tiny theory of mine, they’re different versions of a Sun God in different mythologies/religions around the world, so luffy’s version would probably be a mix of them and oda’s own imagination right?
but what if Luffy isn’t really the SUN god but the MOON god?
Remember when Gear Five was first released and revealed to everyone, and how people naturally assumed and colored him like a sun right? With red and orange and it did look cool but when the colored version came out and he was all white it kinda confused everyone but naturally we just pushed that aside and loved the design and reveal anyhow.
But okay see…
He has the moon behind him and is depicted with the moon and has an all white transformation. He doesn’t look like the Sun at all.
If he’s really the sun god then why is he depicted that way? The Sun does SHINE on the moon so maybe luffy is only a messenger of The Sun?
Who was the Sun God?
Who was Joyboy?
What exactly was the Void Century?
What is Luffy’s dream?
What was the name of the Kingdom?
Is Vegapunk’s theories of the world correct? Is there a possibility he could be wrong?
What’s the endgame here? Oda just tell me I’m going crazy here…
Anyhow thanks for reading my rant!!
See you at Laugh Tale!!
- MAX
I’m reading a Wikipedia article of hanuman and it said that Hanuman is the reincarnation of Shiva, the destroyer god
Oda is mixing lots of mythology f rom all around the world in this story so I have no doubt he is taking inspiration from Aztec culture
Maybe that could tie with the giants thinking that Nika was a destroyer god
I believe an eclipse will happen in the story at some point for some purpose, I dont know what but the sun and moon joining together seems inevitable with all the symbolism weve seen
Maybe thats what "too early" means as well that roger was talking about because eclipses can be predicted
I try and just throw things I think oda might do (with some basis at least )and see if it holds up to scrutiny with what weve seen in the story so far
I think Nika was a primordial god who came to the earth and was destroyed by the earth god
I think joyboy was a buccaneer
But like a normal proportioned one, not like kuma
and the hat that imu has was joyboys and thats why its so large
I think all buccaneers have sizes close to Kuma and his dad
i think buccaneers were just allies of Joyboy
I mean like body shape
A buccaneer just shaped like Katakuri is rather than wide like Kuma
yeah thats what i meant by size
Oda likes to make people of all shapes and sizes and so far all we've seen is kuma and his dad so idk
possible
Big mom is human but she is massive and shaped all weird lol
Another theory I have is that Joyboy was killed by Uranus 800 years ago where enies lobby is
Because of the massive hole there
And people forget it is eternally in sunlight
for some reason
"Never-night island" its called
How is that possible
Also around this time Oda was dropping ancient weapon lore
We learned more about pluton, we learned in the previous arc about poseidon existing
Maybe this was subtle foreshadowing about uranus

all the stuff in skypeia made me think around that time irl Oda had the main outline of the story figured out
like the main specifics
2003 btw
dont leave us hanging post it
i am actually gonna send it in 8 separate messages i hope i dont get beamed by some auto mod
a while ago i had this kind of demonic haki theory but with the recent chapters i can definitely build on it more. the initial idea is that haki has some inherently demonic nature. im going to start by referencing the harley text at the end of chapter 1138, namely the second world where the official translation says, "the forest god tamed demons." this line specifically says the word "demons" rather than "devils." we know that the sea god was angered by "devil" fruits and punished anyone who ate them by removing their abilities to swim, and i believe it was probably also the sea god who first referred to them as "devil" fruits and wanted everyone to remember them by that wretched term. i think haki was also meant to be a punishment to devil fruit users, delivered by the forest god. we have witnessed the gorosei transformations as yokai (demons) and we have seen the demonic circles and other demonic things connected to them. among all of the unusual abilities initially displayed by the gorosei at egghead, it is interesting that nothing is clarified as being due to devil fruits. this is also the case with shamrocks' sword "cerberus." well i believe that the powers of the gorosei, cerberus, and even imu do not come from devil fruits at all. it was revealed with the death of saint saturn that the gorosei get their power from imu. imu took saturns powers to let him wither away as a result of "betrayal" when a sealed portion of haki from joy boy was released. we know that at least saturn (and probably the other 4 original gorosei) is likely hundreds of years old and well past his expiration date, yet before his power was drained by imu he was perfectly able to live for all that time. what i think happened is that the gorosei before meeting imu were already demonically powerful, but imu added to that power immensely and something about that power kept them alive all this time. i also think that the holy knights get some of this power, although much less.
now aside from holy knights and higher authorities, zoro has his weird asura form and his epithet king of hell or something so he obviously is meant to represent a character of demonic power. i believe the asura form to be zoros manifestation of demonic haki. i also believe that the abilities of demonic haki come in the form of manifestation. zoro manifests asura, shamrock manifests cerberus, the gorosei manifest their yokai transformations, and i think that shanks, mihawk, and rayleigh also have some kind of haki manifestation, or at least rayleigh used to and lost the ability with age. back to imu, i believe imu is the original forest god (not an incarnation) and is the only original god still alive. the section of the harley text about the second world mentions the forest god at the start and the sea god before the end, and at the end says, "they will never meet," which would imply the sea god was killed some time after punishing anyone with devil fruit powers and that imu (the forest god) wants to use the sea to destroy the world as a way to avenge the sea god, by carrying out a plan they had together to eradicate mankind after the earth god (before being killed or something) paved the way for this plan against mankind by dividing the world with the red line. alongside removing the ability to swim from devil fruit users, the sea god also divided the world with the grand line or flooding the world (or both) at some point before being killed. it could also be that what the earth god and sea god did in order to punish mankind/devil fruit users ended up using all of their power or life force and thats how they died, and so when imu created haki it didn't use up all of their power but left them with very very little, which is why they are living in one place and slowly working at their plan over time. also i forgot to add that imu is not only taking revenge for the sea god but also the earth god, by ruling on top of the red line.
another thing is that i think the forest god taming demons isn't just meant to say imu controlling and being the master of the gorosei, but you can simplify the message to say "the forest breeds demons" which means that forests and such are sort of imbued with stronger demonic haki and someone who spends more time in a forest will resonate better with demonic haki. for example with rayleigh spending most of his time either on amazon lily or sabaody, he resonated well with demonic haki and probably developed some usage of his power which led to him being called "the dark king." i also think it is similar with mihawk where he has spent a lot of time in or around forests but he also resonated very very well and honed himself to become the worlds greatest swordsman, and i think his very close connection with demonic haki and good control of it is related to him creating a black blade. his eyes also definitely give him some kind of deeper connection to demonic haki because imu has the same eyes, and within this theory he is the forest god so it would only make sense that someone with identical eye shapes would be very skilled in this territory, and maybe the closer the eye color is to red (imu's eyes) then the stronger that person and their resonance with demonic haki is. although i cant really make a good connection with zunesha (blue ring eyes) and caribou (green ring eyes) yet, but zunesha is related to things hundreds of years ago and caribou seems to have some kind of relevance in the story albeit not much. as i was saying, forests have some kind of natural resonance for demonic haki. one of the primary reasons i think imu to be the forest god is because of their room in mary geoise and how it is nature-filled and whatnot, so i think imu created that room at some point and spends time in there to keep resonating with the natural haki that they ultimately imbued into nature.
another part of this is how we see a butterfly or butterflies in this room, showing that there is somehow life in there. i think this original form of haki imu created has a strong effect on life or life force, which means the gorosei are alive for so long because of the immense power imu has lent to them and thereby taking that power returns the intended life force to their body which withers away from not only becoming so weak but from just being hundreds of years old. i think conquerers haki is also an application of demonic haki, and we have seen how conquerers haki overpowers the will of people who aren't strong enough or even how strong enough conquerers haki will destroy or directly affect the environment/weather. people that inherit conquerers haki are known to have the will of a king but i wouldn't entirely say thats what determines someone having conquerers haki. i think that when they are born and there is nothing influencing that purest form of life, their inherent will is freely hovering in the atmosphere and if it resonates well enough with the demonic haki (natural haki surrounding them) then it fuses with that dormant strong will and opens up that power to completely impose their will in the form of haki. i think the demonic circles used by the gorosei and holy knights are some ability that imu imprinted when giving them more power, and the ones used for travel are weaker but able to last permanently whereas the ones specific to the gorosei are much much stronger in order to be able to summon one another but they disappear eventually. i also dont think the gorosei not being able to get hurt is regeneration exactly, but due to the immense power they have received from imu i think the transformations are an embodiment of this demonic haki life force and to damage or overpower it your haki has to be strong enough or something.
another thing is the clouds we see with the gorosei transformations that resemble the clouds on certain peoples' zoan transformations. i dont think the clouds themselves represent awakenings but some kind of mastery or resonance between the transformation and that persons haki. we see kaido and yamato with their own cloud scarf things when transformed but neither of them have awakened their fruit, which i believe means its like a pseudo awakening or something between the fruit and their haki that makes clouds appear. the jailer beasts with awakened zoan fruits dont have the clouds but they were unable to master the animal of their awakened transformation. lucci awakened the leopard fruit and has the clouds, and he is essentially one with the nature/behavior of the leopard fruit. another thing is with luffys gear 4 and gear 5. gear 4 has the clouds but you can tell they are weaker and more incomplete/incoherent, whereas in gear 5 the clouds are fuller and more obvious. the swirls of haki on luffys body in gear 4 also kind of resemble the swirls you see on the legs of saturns spider yokai thing. i think this kinda goes back to how demonic haki comes in manifestations. the swirls are an indicator of manifesting this haki, so it has nothing to do with luffys fruit awakening and thats why theres not haki as part of gear 5 transformation because luffy only manifests it in his gear 4 transformations. although not all the examples of manifestation i gave have visible haki on the form manifested, like with zoros asura. this also explains black blades. haki is manifested onto the blade and after enough time of the user resonating their natural/demonic haki with the demonic haki inherently inside the blade, its almost like the clouds with zoan fruits where the swordsman is mastering the nature of the sword itself and with the elongated exposure to this users haki the sword completely assimilates with the will of this person being imposed through their haki.
it could also be that when this is done, the sword becomes the will of the user and therefore the user has imbued their will into the sword through conquerers haki and the user loses their ability to use conquerers haki by trusting that power into the blade. from that point on, the nature of the blade has forever become the will and power of whoever turned it into a black blade. now with shamrocks cerberus i think its a bit different from black blades. i think the user is just manifesting the nature of the sword itself with the power of their haki rather than imbuing their haki directly into the sword, and so even though that in the case of cerberus it is more plausible to be a cerberus fruit i still think it is just that demonic haki manifestation. since shamrock can manifest his sword cerberus into a cerberus, i think shanks is able to manifest his sword gryphon into a gryphon and that the giant haki gryphon we saw when he attacked eustass kid was not necessarily just a visual effect or something but rather his haki literally manifested into a giant gryphon. now going back to imu, i think that imu is female and that there is more possibly tying her to being the forest god. the name imu in japanese is イム. the first character (イ) is also the first character of the name eve (イブ). the last character (ム) is also the last character of the name adam (アダム). adam and eve is the story of the first humans, supposedly placed by god into the garden of eden with everything they could possibly need and they lived in harmony with nature. food came from every tree in the garden but god told adam and eve to never eat from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. at some point a serpent entered the garden of eden and tempted the two into eating a fruit from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, to which god judged them and punished them and all of future humanity with the process of death and subsequent cycle of life among other things.
adam was said to live for 930 years but it is never said how long eve lived. from this i believe that the sea god was more likely symbolic of adam and that it is known when he died, and that imu as the forest god is more likely symbolic of eve and that not only is imu female but it is not known how long she lived or when she died. this implies that there was no record of the forest god dying or what happened to them, meaning that even if imu is alive as the forest god then still nobody knows how long she has lived. another thing with imu's name イム being the first character of eve and last character of adam, if you take it from Japanese to English and take the first letter of eve and last letter of adam you get "em." while it is not "im" or "imu," it is evidently close in some manner and either this is intended as just being similar to the name of imu, or the name im or imu is a false name created to mislead anyone from the real name "em." another thing is that "em" is the sound for the letter M, which can be used to represent mary for mary geoise or mother for mother nature and these both add more reason to believe that imu is female and the forest god. the name mary geiose in japanese (聖地マリージョア) translates to "holy place mariejois," but oda intentionally spells it as mary "geiose" and not "jois." the part "geiose" is visually similar to part of the word "bourgeois" or "bourgeoisie," which means the class (middle class in definition) mostly concerned with materialism and conventionalism or the class which dominates society's wealth and means of production. i think this refers to the celestial dragons. i also think imu wanted the celestial dragons to wear the stupid suits and bubbles in order to be less affected/unaffected by the surrounding demonic haki where they are living, and especially with imu residing there the whole time.
anyways something i forgot to mention about the sea god being adam and the forest god being eve is how the "second world" section of the harley texts implies that the forest god and sea god will never meet again after the sea god dies/disappears. this would tie into the idea that god punished adam and eve with death in order to make them suffer just knowing that they will eventually die and never see each other again. although i think sea god died by sacrificing himself to punish humanity and left the rest to the forest god, who either accidentally didn't use all their power, which would have killed them, or intentionally stayed alive to ultimately oversee the punishment of humanity and try to prevent any incarnations of the sun god who would be trying to help and free humanity. there isn't much else i really want to cover but i want to compare the parallels between two things. long ago the poneglyphs were created to lead the right person to opening up the history of the world and reaching the final island which would have something there waiting for the next incarnation of the sun god, and this was done against imu the forest god. the kinda small parallel i want to bring up is the forest admiral going to wano to mess things up but shanks from afar preventing that from happening with his haki, essentially keeping the forest from destroying the land that worked to eventually help free the world. i could just be going insane because it makes sense in my head, but i am bad at explaining things sometimes so yea. idk thats all i got, theres probably a lot more that i could tie into this theory surrounding demonic haki and imu as the forest god but i dont have the energy to extrapolate this any longer.
💥 that is all of it
i have read it over myself and there are probably a few areas where anyone else reading will get confused because i think i probably have adhd because in conversations i am very prone to abruptly switch the topic or general line of thinking
but its fine i feel good about this theory of imu being the forest god, and there being a deeper more sinister form of haki
Lots to read here. One thing I do agree with is that Imu is granting people DF powers
Somehow some way
If the Harley text about the forest god "taming demons" or whichever translation seems to fit this
We saw Imu use like an arrow to stab sabo and cobra at the reverie
and now we see that arrow power with gunko
and if you noticed her feet when she activated it agaisnt loki, it was the same black flames as the gorosei had
its like imu is granting gorosei and holy knights powers
yea even here
Rob Lucci, who weve also seen his awakened form, does NOT have the flames surrounding him
which indicates that natural devil fruit users dont just get that
i dont necessarily think she is granting them df powers but some kind of power in general. the arrow fruit thing honestly im not sure. it could be that gunko ate the arrow fruit some time before becoming a holy knight, and when made a holy knight she was given a little bit of power from imu as i said, making the devil fruit much more powerful and maybe even having a demonic effect on the nature of the devil fruit
Ahh I see what youre saying
Yeah. Could be a real possibility, I can see it being the case
i think maybe it could be a similar situation with luffys gear 4, where demonic haki is bringing out some different effect thats covering parts of him in different haki
but gear 5 is too free and pure to have any of that
I just thought of the granting DF powers because of this:
same ability basically, how can there be 2
the main thing is that everyone rn believes the gorosei, imu, and shamrocks' sword have all eaten a devil fruit. while i am open to this possibility, it is also kind of tricky when you consider zoro's asura and whatever rayleigh may have had going on. rayleigh hasnt eaten a devil fruit and neither has his sword as far as we know, but we do know that zoro and none of his swords have eaten devil fruits
i mean going back to the adam and eve stuff, what if imu as the forest god had some part in devil fruits coming into existence even if its unintentional
like the tree of the knowledge of good and evil growing fruit that was forbidden to be eaten, and in doing so adam and eve angered god and became punished
so it could be that imu, as the forest god, somehow brought devil fruits into existence whether she meant to or not. and that is part of why she created haki to counter it, because it is a creation she despises. so if thats the case then idk she could have some way of copying or taking abilities of devil fruits
another possibility is that imu's arrow is misleading and isnt related to gunko's arrow fruit
That's possible. I just feel like its too deliberate on Oda's part to show us its coming out of black flames
because when you take the correlation to "devil fruits" and "taming demons," it wouldnt be surprising if imu had a tail that was shaped in an arrow like a stereotypical demon tail
the black flames could be the demonic haki stuff
Personally I think haki is just haki, and it just takes on the nature of the person using it
idk i think there is some deeper meaning to haki and its existence
Joyboy was a good person, and his conq haki didnt have any aggressiveness to it like the giants said
Thats what I think
yea what im saying is that haki was created to inherently be demonic in order to counteract devil fruits, and conquerers haki became a particular application of it that only specific people have whether that person is good or evil
When you get into Demonic haki then you run into the issue of why is this concept of a different brand of haki exist and only being seen now. Rayleigh would probably have brought up something with it
When we the reader learn more about haki
i dont think rayleigh would have brought it up because the straw hats were not ready, especially the fact that before the timeskip they didnt even know about haki, and after the timeskip well some of them developed haki but they've only been using it for 2 years so it would've been too early in rayleighs mind. plus rayleigh would have lost the control over that power with age because it is a more raw or pure form of haki so its not as easy to just understand or control. i also think since he wouldnt be able to use it anymore, he wants them to learn it from someone else down the line. who that is i have no idea
I think its the opposite if anything, haki means willpower, and everyone has willpower, its like a thing everybody just has and its whether you can harness it and use it offensively (like when luffy couldnt use it yet in jaya but blackbeard could feel it was strong anyway). At some point I think devil fruits were made to counteract haki rather than the other way around
Im just saying rayleigh who is 70 and explored the whole world and fought the strongest haki users imaginable would have come across it and mentioned it or something
well thats what im saying anyone and everyone can develop it. but going by my theory you resonate with haki better when you're just out in nature
idk i feel like he knew it was too early to tell them, but he also probably knows they will learn it from someone down the line. maybe scopper or something idk
I agree with this since living things can be felt with observation haki (like fujitora who is blind). I mean devil fruits seem like they were created by nika or imu or some other god
i mean i am definitely reaching with the demonic haki stuff but i do think that in general, there is some power not as easily accessible that hasnt been revealed yet, and that is mostly responsible for the powers of imu, the gorosei, and holy knights
well i think we should think about a current major speculation that a lot of people seem to believe is likely, which is that if a devil fruit user dies then the devil fruit will grow somewhere nearby in a way
Yeah Imu for sure has some kind of power we havent learned about yet, I personally just dont believe its haki. Its more like some kind of magic
that means devil fruits are fruits that grow on trees, like with adam and eve
What kind? Demonic cure, but haki idk
and adam and eve, representing mankind, touched that forbidden fruit
then they were punished by god
and i think the forest god had some hand in the existence of devil fruits
of course without mankind desiring it, it would not happen
but the idea that the forest god would be responsible for the existence of both devil fruits and haki would be more reason for imu to be the forest god than any other god
plus literally her room in mary geiose lol
I do completely agree Imu is one of those gods
its weird referring to imu as a female even though that is genuinely what i think
so if we look at the text it first mentions the sun god and the earth god, and at the end of the first part says they will not meet
in the second part it mentions the forest god and sea god, and at the end of the second part says they will not meet
so luffy being the sun god, i think imu is the forest god and that both the earth god and sea god will not be reincarnated or ever exist again or something
one of the main reasons for that being that the sun god was reincarnated as a devil fruit because the people wished for it and worshipped him hoping for liberation
but they would despise the earth god and sea god too much to ever want them to reappear
of course the forest god would not reincarnate either, but i think imu is the original forest god
so the sun god and earth god will never meet again, luffy is the sun god. the forest god and sea god will never meet again, imu is the forest god.
and in the third part of the harley text, it mentions the people of the half moon, the sun god, and the world
and it says they will meet
as for who will meet again, i think it could either be the people of the half moon and the world meet again, or saying the sun god and the world will meet again
i like the idea that its the people of the half moon and the world
cause i would believe that to mean that the people stuck living on the moon will return to the rest of the world and essentially the two will "meet again," and this happens by the help of the sun god
there is also something in the mural that i havent really seen anyone talk about (or they have and idk i didnt notice)
the moon. there seems to be a flying ship descending from it. the ship looks exactly like enels ship. there is lightning coming from the ship. the ship seems to be attacking someone with a crown, who also seems to be in control of 19 people supplying something (19 people outside of the factory looking thing). the 19 people most likely represent the 19 kingdoms, not 20 because of the stuff with alabasta. i think enel will return to help defeat imu and help the people on the moon return to earth.
the person in the crown could also represent the gorosei or the world nobles in general, because imu herself is likely one of the giant silhouetted beasts
i mean if she is the forest god as i believe she is, then she is one of the beasts
and probably the one in the middle in front of the tree, and also under the second world text talking of the forest god and sea god
now that i look at it more, the left beast is the earth god and the right beast is the sea god. the first part talks about the sun god, and then the earth god plunging the world into darkness and then the two will never meet again. and we can see the sun god on the left side. on the right side is the sea god, and the sea god and forest god are sharing some kind of flame breath or something, meaning they are closely working together or the plan closely relies on both. and we see the noah ship on the right side where the kingdoms are supplying to something. they are likely supplying to the mother flame in order to use that power to flood the world, aka use the power of the sea god
I agree with the Enel thing. Puzzling why children from the void century would draw enels exact ship and a lightning strike coming from it when the ark maxim wouldnt exist for another 800 years, unless there was another similar thing in the past that was just like it. (Or it is just a doodle by a kid that happened to come true like usopp's lies seems to always come true too, maybe a coincidence but probably not)
Also I think the king you circled is just the tyrannical king of the slaves that are getting energy(?) from the deep earth
this was my theory btw
i think the slaves working for the world nobles are the ones inside the factory looking thing, but theres specifically 19 figures outside of it that are supplying, and that is mostly like the 19 kingdoms. the person with the crown probably indicates the world government, ruling over those 19 kingdoms with alabsta being rebellious or whatever idk
I need to actually add something to mine
I think now the "forbidden sun" is the stuff the people are getting from the earth
same flame as the motherflame vegapunk made
lots of power
idk. it will definitely be exciting to see what all of it means
btw this is the official translation
Yea I made it before that one came out
lol
I need to reevaluate and adjust
But most people Ive seen say the tree in the middle is the adam tree but it looks nothing like it
looks like its made up from these
referencing adam and eve once again, the tree they were forbidden to eat the fruits from was called "The Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil"
and the tree on ohara was called the tree of knowledge
i mean the tree in adam in eve is specifically about the knowledge of good and evil
but still im pretty sure the tree on ohara was thousands of years old
so it could be that tree
but we will see
The entire island of Ohara seems to be based around that tree
So it seems likely from just that perspective
Island with the tree of knowledge and over centuries civilzation was built around it
Is the one piece the forbidden star?
I think it's Nika's Heart left over from his death
Infinite Energy
No more slavery or war over resources when its used
Depending on who gets it and how its used

Remember Nika Luffy's heartbeat activated Emet somehow
Now Imagine an actual god's heartbeat
Could power the world
Probably just looks like a sun in a smaller form
And metaphorically is would bring "The Dawn of the world"
Dawn needs the sun
Has anyone ever connected One Piece and The Legend of King Arthur?
Maybe they could be the Relation to the Holy Knights?
What are the parallels
Knights of the Round table - Holy Knights, Arthur being the one to pull the Sword from the Stone, while Imu is the only one not to have placed a sword despite leading the Kingdom
I barely know anything but it’s slight parallels like that that make me wanna read more about it and try and find connections
Or even the connection with the Ancient Civilization Mu.
This sounds exactly like what happened to the First World
And the text Mu is even seen on Vegapunks Motherflame
And the motherflame is quite literally a key point in the Harley texts.
I’m sorry but this beginning part of the chapter is Crazy in relation to the First world, down to the Nacaals, a race that’s described as having Dark Skin, like the Lunarians??
Not saying it’s a 1 to 1 obviously, but Oda is definitely getting inspiration along these lines, so it’s safe to say some more information in these stories could come to be.
Also pretty sure some Dimensional aspects are going to start appearing more in the story.
Maybe a log pose pointing towards a Pocket Dimension, or the User who would always be using the Fruit Controlling the Dimension.
Could the Man Marked by Flame be creating Pocket Dimensions in his Whirlpools?
Maybe this could be the Davy Jones fruit, creating a Whirlpool to Davy Jones Locker Dimension lol, fun to think about considering we have a Door and Mirror dimension.
Or Even Caribou has access to his Mud Pocket Dimension despite being a Logia. Actually Luffy might have access to a Pocket Dimension now that i think about it???
It could be how Luffy has access to “Nikas Fantasy”, the pocket dimension controlled by the Nika Fruit.
We know that Paramecias and Logia’s have access to Pocket Dimensions, so the Zoan would be the last one we need to see in action.
It actually makes sense if you think about it in regards to how the 3 different types work.
Logia would have full control of their Dimension.
Paramecia wouldn’t have full control, but be able to freely commute through their dimension.
The Zoan would have Both? Or it could have some completely new dynamics we don’t even know of yet, like how Sun Stones and Rainbow travel was just introduced.
If Blackbeard has a Zoan type fruit then this would be the most Plausible evidence towards it in my opinion.
He uses his Darkness pocket dimension like a Logia, but his powers don’t give him any of the Qualities of a True Logia. If that isn’t a Hidden Zoan then I have no idea what would be.
Maybe Teaches pocket dimension has been setup all this time as a Polar Opposite to Luffys.
Teach takes in and Destroys anything in his Dimension.
Luffy pulls out and Creates what he wants in his Dimension.
This is the God fruit that a Generation of Slaves dreamed of, it could have the most Unbelievable properties of Any Devil Fruit Ever and that’s why the Government wants it Hidden.
Luffys Fruit is the Embodiment of the Pain, Suffering, Anger, Imagination, and Will of every slave that wanted Freedom from the Earth God.
The reason It’s base form is so limited to the Rubber form is because you truly need the Imagination of a Child, or Anger of being controlled by your Grandfather, or Dreams of being the Pirate King, or as Luffy puts it, the “Most Free”.
The Nika Fruit or “Freedom” itself chose Luffy, because he is what exactly Freedom is. Wanting to Eat, Fight, Drink, Laugh, and Follow your Dreams without being held back by anyone.
End of my rant, but Luffys true dream is to Set the World Free.
Even the Reactions of the Crew could signify this since they never Actually knew Luffys dream besides Pirate King.
Zoro because he was the First member to be Freed by Luffy, shocked that he wouldn’t have known his Captains true Ambition.
Jimbei and Nami for their issues with Fishman Segregation, and Nami being set free from Arlong.
Brook was set free by Luffy after 50 years of Isolation, understanding the Joys of freedom.
Usopp a Coward
Franky understands the Power of Control and Destruction caused by the World Government.
Sanji was also set “Free” from Judge, and again from being a “Jr Chef” on a Pirate Ship where dreams could never Thrive, and Again by Zeff who Gave Sanji Freedom, but it wasn’t until Luffy gave Sanji the inspiration to start following his Dream.
Robins might actually have a Deeper meaning due to her Connection with Dragon and Sabo, leaving her at a Loss for Words with how much this Father, Son, and Brother want to set the World free.
Chopper is Awe Inspired because this is a True Child’s Dream, something that fits right along with his Childish Nature. As well as him taking in the Influence of Luffys Freedom.
Usopp and Chopper being the Only ones not Stunned by this is because Freedom hasn’t Cut that deep into them as it has the Others. Usopp would have lived a Normal Life, and Chopper would continue living with Kureha on the Drum Islands. Making them the only ones who would be “Okay” by any standards if not for Luffy.
I think we’ll see the real power of Nika once Luffy truly understands the past of his fruit, allowing him to understand what Freedom meant to all those Slaves, which is about to happen soon 🤞
An addition to Luffys dream being to Set the World Free, Shirley predicted Luffy would destroy Fishman Island.
However the Redline sits 10,000 Meters above Fishman Island. If Luffy were to completely destroy the Redline EOS this would be a Key Factor in that.
But it would also mean destroying the one thing that separates the Entire world from being One Piece, letting the four seas form the All Blue, and allowing everyone to be Free from the holds of the Celestial Dragons in Mariejois.
Also if the All Blue theory is silly to anyone.
Sanji grew up reading books from Germa libraries, where he would read the Devil Fruit encyclopedia itself. Sanji clearly learned of the All Blue from here on top of other things he may not have deemed important as a Child.
Germa would go on to Hide in plain sight by using Comic Books and the Hero Sora to give people the illusion they weren’t real.
Point being, if Comic Books can be used to hide a secret Nation capable of Super Soldiers and replicated Devilfruit Powers, then the Reality of the world once being the All Blue seems pretty valid.
Lots of info here. I think you are onto lots of things with pretty good basis for them, especially the name of the ancient kingdom being Mu and the parallels with that.
Not sure I personally agree with Luffy's dream being to "Set the world free" because that absolutely sounds like Dragon/Sabo/Rev Army's goal but I think this will absolutely happen as a result of Luffy attaining his dream. Theres been a few times (i dont remember the exact chapters 💀 ) where Luffy says he isnt a hero and pirates arent heroes, but obviously in each arc he ends up saving tons of people anyways despite believing that. I think Oda was trying to parallel exactly the same thing that Roger told Oden and Whitebeard in the past, just based off the fact the panelling and reactions of WB/Oden and Ace/Sabo were drawn deliberately the same, and it was something even they said was something a kid would say. I think it's what the most mainstream theory says it is which is "I want to have a party with the whole world" . Just my opinion
I think everyone agrees that Luffy will end up breaking apart the WG and freeing everybody who is enslaved by them by the end of the series, but I think that will be sort of a side effect of him attaining the one piece (which also perfectly ties in to what I think the one piece is)
What do you think the one piece is
Specifically, the primordial "Heart" of the original Sun God Nika who once existed in the first world
Essentially an endless source of free energy that would power the world
The Sun but not the sun sun
That's basically what I've got compiled
lol
Seems grand enough and simple enough to be the thing everyone in the world would be after
And at least interesting enough to be the "Prize" at the end of the journey rather than like a bottle of Sake or a comic book or a note or some boring thing that some people come up with
Imagine reading for 25 years + for the one piece to end up being a piece of paper with a story on it or something like that
Oda wouldnt do that 💀
What I find weird is Roger saying oh how I wish I was alive during your time joyboy when finding the one piece, finding it funny and laughing at it and calling it a tale
Interesting
So a tool joyboy left behind so that whoever finds it and inherits the freedom power uses it to fulfil roger/luffys dream
It has to be something that could possibly be in Oda's mind back in 1997, something as simple as the sun even, and weve even gotten sun imagery way back in those days as well. Just saying, one piece was not intended to go on this long as we know now lol
yoo guys im new
Yeah its really the only way to theorize about the one piece, it has to tick all the boxes of peoples end-goals and unresolved plot points. Gotta list those and work backwards since the only thing we really know about it is that its joyboys treasure + roger laughed
Come up with things it could be and scrutinize it and see if it holds
I'm willing to be completely wrong, I just convinced myself it is that lol
Welcome!
ty
ur a ace fan
I just like his character design lol
I'm a luffy fan
Also this channel is for long in depth theories so I think it's better to chat somewhere else before a mod deletes our messages or something
The one piece being something like a power source to the world definitely fits with the original quote "wealth fame and power"
Because whoever attains it will get those stuff as a byproduct of providing that power source to the world
Thing is Roger was a pirate for decades and reached the end of the grandline 1 time before restarting specifically to find where the road poneglyphs took him which only took like 2 years or whatever he said
idk how old he is here, 17 lets say, same age as luffy was when he began
died at 53
Wow
last 2 years were him looking for laugh tale
so he basically did non-poneglyph/laughtale pirate activity like stealing and stuff for 34 years
True
Will's and deeper meanings aside, the Nika fruit being the "Sun God" might have a different meaning with 1138 showing how in the first world people touched the forbidden sun which I'm presuming is the core of the earth (what the elevator with all the people on the right side is going down towards as well as what they are harvesting).
With that same logic, it kind of confuses me why the change from the Rain God in Skypeia to the Sea god on the elbaf mural happened. On one hand sea and rain seem like opposite ends, but on the other hand, maybe each of these Gods is set up by Oda to have had multiple interpretations based on who perceived them during their time, similarly to how now the giants aren't sure if Nika is a god about freedom or about destruction as Loki interprets it.
Now with that thought, I went back and reread some of the Skypiea chapters. You all know the sacrifice panel where they say the four gods names but right after it introduces Kashi which I'm not sure if it is supposed to represent the four gods or is just a patron deity of specifically Shandia that takes sacrifices to the four gods, but it reminded me of the Second World Panel where it says that "Man killed the sun and became God". In the previous text box, it specifically differentiates how in the first world "Mankind" touched the forbidden sun, but here it's "Man". Also it says that Man became God, not gods, but God himself similarly to how the Shandians called Kashi a Kami. From my understanding, even though Mousse referred to herself as meeting the sun god before her sacrifice, the villagers distinguish Kashigami as one being, either separate from the four gods or potentially as all four of them in one based on how they follow up the name of the gods with Kashi's introduction.
I take this interpretation from how the villager speaking in that panel in chapter 287 follows up the names of the gods with an explanation saying "We offer YOU the blood of this girl.... and ask that YOU show mercy to our village" and the other villagers saying "The Kami has arrived" as well as one just simply looking at kashigami awestruck and simply saying "kami" as it comes out of the water which makes me think it is one god that represents all four natural occuring events (sun, rain, forest, and earth) for the Shandians.
Going back to the Second World text box in 1138, because of how this scene was framed, I think that the Man became God line isn't about the celestial dragons or the 20 kingdoms, but about one individual specifically. The problem is I have no idea who that could be....
My initial guess is that it's Imu, since althouhg joyboy had the Nika fruit even though he was still technically a "God" but if I compare the Kashigami situation in Skypiea to Imu and the celestial dragons, I think it draws a nice parallel where Imu would be the Kashigami having literally become God and the celestial dragons (although called gods) are mostly just working/living through Imu's commands. On top of that, you could look at the God's Knights and in this context, see that it is not God's plural, but singular, as in those are the knights of God (those are God's Knights).
My only other guess would be an Enel situation, where like him, someone proclaimed themselves to be God during the void century not how Imu did with the gain of political power, but in a spiritual sense like how Enel literally thought he was god after eating the rumble fruit and with how he wanted to change the meaning of being God of Skypiea from meaning just the leader of that nation to something beyond that. For this idea, I don't really have any idea of how it could be explained with what we know so far so I guess this is more of just food for thought though... Just before I finish that idea though, one thing that Enel said in Skypiea (episode 181) was that God was Fear itself so im also wondering if one of those gods manifested through something like fear or if it could just be further padding to the idea of Imu being God because people fear them.
Now besides this, I should also mention the interpretation of the second world panel from the opposite angle, as in relation to Joy Boy. For example, instead of the Man being a villain, it could be that it's refering to Joyboy instead like I mentioned earlier. The reasoning for this is much more straightforward with what we know about devil fruits and awakenings. If we take the meaning of forbidden sun to be the core of the earth, then the "sun spreading the fires of war" could be a weapon made from the earths core or one that uses it to literally spread fire/destruction on earth instead of it meaning that Nika was spreading the fires of war. Continuing with that notion from the first two mentions of sun in the mural, the Man killing the sun could mean someone like Joyboy killing the sun which the demon on the left is holding, and from this becoming God not in an awakening sense since he is clearly already awakened, but in a worshipped sense.
This would warrant a similar reaction that the Earth God had with the Sea God, since in the first world once the sun god came after the peoples prayer, the earth god became angry and similarly I could see how the sea god would also become angry after joyboys arrival. The problem with the joyboy being the "Man" version is how he lost if he destroyed the weapon and how imu fits into all of this.
This is where im at an impasse of how the story can be spun for the void century, wherein somebody destroys some type of sun (either joyboy losing or the original mother flame/earth core weapon being destroyed) and who the man is. Whether nika spread the fires of war or a weapon did. Whether the sea god (as well as the other gods) are just representations or actual beings. Whether the sea god is imu themselves. And lastly whether my whole foundation of the forbidden sun being the earths core is even right cause for all I really know, Oda can write whatever the hell he wants and I could be completely wrong although I am 99% confident that's what it means.
In short, im just speculating and basically the one piece is gonna be ||a giant statue of joyboys ass and thats why it was so funny for roger. ||
freedom is a state of mind
one piece is all about getting freedom
i wish visa didn't existed on our complicated world
Killer is a member of the 3 eyed tribe and is the reason the Kid pirates were able to read Poneglyphs
His hair was always covering his eyes as a kid and I think this may have been his attempt to hide his heritage in fear of being sold to slavery or off to the WG given their ability to eventually hear “The Voice Of All Things”.
When he was crying in Wano you can see subtle droop marks appear under his bandages almost as if something underneath his bandages is rustling around.
Combine this with the Kid Pirates somehow being able to decipher Poneglyphs and I believe he’s the one who has made it possible for them to even come as far as they did before they ran into Shanks.
If Oda brings them back I think we will see Killer completely unmasked and no longer feeling the need to hide his true self given their crew and ship was completely wrecked by Shanks. He’d tie into Pudding and their race as a whole will be expanded on more like how Vegapunk touched on certain important races in his speech.
PS: I have a theory about Who’s Who being related to this same tribe but I’ll hold off on that for now...
sc: reddit
When I originally wrote this theory, there was only one possible rebuttal that struck a chord with me.
A person told me "Why didn't Kaido keep the three-eyed Killer then, why would he give something like that up to Orochi?"
But the thing is, there's no guarentee Kaido ever even peered underneath Killer's mask to know it was ever there. I don't believe he did.
And that's a good point, I was also considering that Killer may be revealed with a fully unmasked design, next time we finally see him.
After all, the last we saw of him, his mask was already broken, and I'm afraid to say any possible replacement masks were destroyed along with the Victoria Punk.
His mask isn't written to be indestructible like Luffy's straw hat, for example. I think with all this teasing of it getting continually cracked and broken within his battles, a full face reveal is imminent
So, I went ahead & took a look at the actual original reddit post for the Killer theory.
And.. I'm surprised the theorist blatantly used my own points/words to write the theory, as well as my exact images I edited / highlighted, lol.
https://www.reddit.com/r/OnePiece/comments/1inrb3e/comment/mcdxm7o/
I feel used and abused
Damn I read it there as well
That's not ok if it's your original theory
They should credit
It's not my original hypothesis at least, I think it dates back as a decently known theory as far back as 2019, but I subscribed to the same conclusion in 2020. The only thing original about my theory is the points and arguments I made which he did take, such as the Udon crying scene.
But it's not too bad. One reason I'm glad for it to have gotten popular is now I get to see more of people's counterarguments.
Such as:
"Kid was looking for the burn scar man exactly to solve the problem of deciphering ponegliffs"
The burn scar man wasn't to help him read the ponegliffs. It was to get access to the last, unknown red glyph.
"Why didn't Kaido keep Killer then"
Already explained above, but basically he just didn't check under the mask before giving him to Orochi. It's confirmed Orochi was the one that made him eat SMILE, not Kaido.
"The tear marks on his bandages are actually just his brows furrowing"
Then why are the marks only on one side of his face?
It doesn't even line up in the exact area to be his brow. Nor the literally vertical bubbly markings either.
Too much incomprehensive reading goes on, no wonder I'm passionate to stick around in this community to set things straight, smh
3 Eyed Kidd would have been cool but it’s already been debunked Sadly
There’s a photo of him with his air swept just where his eye would be that was posted on a Killer Theory
Robin is best girl.
But the whole Mu being the Civilization of an Advanced Dark Skin People that was destroyed by the Earth and Fire, Is quite literally the kingdom of the First World.
The fact that Lunarians Specifically have Dark Skin as well as being known as the Gods of the Redline in the Past.
Making the Redline the home to Mu, then possible the next Ancient Kingdom Atlantis who would use Mu’s advanced technology to create their own.
The big thing wrapping this theory together is the fact that in the 3rd world right now, the “Pangea Castle” sits atop the redline as the Home to Imu.
Pangea being a Super Continent that existed millions of years ago, is now the HQ of the Celestial Dragons.
And now we know how the Third Worlds Kingdom will end, based on Pangea being broken up over time, we can also use the Knowledge of Luffy destroying Fishman Island to confirm these thoughts, as Marijois sits directly above Fishman Island.
Also Poseidon is directly tied to the Sinking of Atlantis, could this be the Reason for Joy Boys apology to One Pieces’s own Ancient Weapon?
He wasn’t able to Support Poseidon enough so Their world was sunk into the Sea?
There is also this " name " of the Ancient Kingdom Clover wanted to spell, that is apparently " telling " , so maybe its a variant of Atlantis indeed
I really like your ideas, it's very interesting to read! While reading your post, one thing came to my mind. We know the Lunarian people can manipulate fire, okay? What if the "serpent of hellfire" from the first world had been created by a Lunarian or a group of them?
I'm not saying they were bad guys, but maybe some of them weren't so nice, and maybe there was one Lunarian among others who was even more powerful than the others and decided to destroy the world or something like that?
Maybe, after this happened, the Lunarian tribe decided to live atop of the Red Line, a bit separated from the rest of humanity, as a way to atone for the crimes of one of their race?
Another idea that I have is that maybe the Red Line itself is the result of defeating the "hellfire serpent" by imprisoning it with lava, I mean a lot of lava, and when it got solidified it became known as the Red Line. I imagine that maybe the Lunarian played an important part in this if it really happened.
I would really love for the Redline to actually turn out to be the Serpent of Fire as well.
Also the Earth God being an Ancient Lunarian could make sense, giving the Celestial Dragons a reason to not “Trust” the remaining Lunarians after the First World, giving us the Massacre that we know took place upon the Lunarians.
Also another interesting Parallel i’m noticing in characters could be
Ace, Sabo, and Luffy being a foreshadowing for the Relationship between
Shanks, Shamrock, and Buggy.
Ace and Shanks being the “Sons” of the Pirate King,
Sabo and Shamrock being the Children of Nobility.
Luffy and Buggy being crazy Dreamers wanting to be the Pirate King.
Not sure how deep this connection could go but just thought i’d mention it.
Mu has a Lot more Connections that fit in place now that we know the First world was its Own Kingdom
Even Worshipping a Sun Deity and having their own Sun Flag similar to those seen in the One Piece world now.
I read somewhere that a legend existed about a giant serpent coiling around the Earth. I don't know why, but I think the "hellfire serpent" from the first world is related to the Red Line because of this legend
Jormangundr, also a Child of Loki in Norse Mythology
Hel and Fenrir were also Children of Loki, a mix of all 3 Being a Great Underworld Wolf Snake would be Insane, and could even Replicate the Chimera.
Especially if this fruit comes from ancient Times, it coming Full Circle to Loki would make complete sense Story Wise
Again adding to the Connection between the “3 Brothers”
Shanks and Ace are known through the story for having the Same Target, Blackbeard.
Buggy and Luffy have polar opposite fruits.
Shamrock embraces nobility, wanting to bring others in to his control, Sabo rejects nobility, wanting everyone to be Free
Sorry I keep ranting about their Connection but now that i’m realizing it, Blackbeard has remained the Single Constant between the Two groups of “Brothers”
Blackbeard could have even taken Aces Role from this group of Brothers,
We know Roger was waiting for the Right person to come, as Whitebeard mentioned to Blackbeard “He isn’t the one who Roger was waiting for”
This person Roger was waiting for is most likely his own Son Ace, therefore Blackbeard believed he could force his way into this Prophecy by taking Aces Role.
Even in the Page of people who are going after the one piece all 6 of these mentioned Characters appear, Shamrock still being silhouetted, the Parallels are definitely no coincidence
I love the idea that the Red Line is the fire serpent. It is very reminiscent of the titans in Greek mythology.
Oh yes, I read a similar idea somewhere but I don't know to which mythology it belongs, a big serpent coiling around the Earth...so it's from the Greek mythology??
The serpent you read about is probably from Norse mythology. Their name was Jormangundr and they are a child of Loki, which obviously would be fitting.
But the idea of trapping large monsters is definitely a core concept in Greek mythology and we know Oda loves to blend mythos
I know there is a popular theory about Shanks and Shamrock being Fenrir (also a child of Loki's) children - the wolves that swallow the sun and the moon - but I was looking into other Norse deities, but specifically with one arm. And the only one I could really find is Tyr (if anyone knows others please let me know!!)
He had his arm bit off by Fenrir and it symbolizes honor and bravery which, to me, feels fitting for Shanks.
So... if Shanks is more of a Tyr symbol and not a Hati of Skoll reference... my lil theory is that there is a third brother. hati and Skoll are not twins in Norse mythology and the theme of threes is pretty prevalent through OP as well.
A third brother? I had never seen this theory before, but why not
maybe too late to introduce it to the manga right now.. unless its not a twin but a younger brother
It's just a silly theory I'm kicking around heh
But yes I think it would be a younger brother. And I do agree it would be late to introduce him. I just find it so intriguing that Shanks has more characteristics with Tyr than he does with the wolf brothers (imo at least)
Maybe it's just not the right inspiration for Shanks' character
And as you said, Oda likes to mix everything anyway 😅
You think Luffy and Koby would team up to take down Blackbeard, just like Garp and Roger did against Rocks?
Absolutely, Would be a great way to connect the 3 of them.
They’ve been intertwining through the Story plenty, we finally need to see the 3 of them in action together.
Definitely an EOS battle though.
Or maybe not, if shit gets insane on Elbaph like it is already and turns into God Valley 2 we might get it soon.
This story line is too much lenghty to go after
As garp is getting rest rn after getting caught and his friend sengoku won't sleep knowing he get caught he wiill come after to rescue him with the rookie marine and they will win
Blackbeard is the one holding the sun
Isn’t Sengoku off to Crossguild?
ohh i think but he isn't too focused on other work if he gets to know about garp then he won't sit he will come to fight for him imo
trust me garp has to be alive no need to make him die
i want family reunion at last of one piece end garp dragon and luffy lol
If anything we’ll most likely see Dragon going after Garp, I know he said the Revolutionary Army would deploy against the Holy Knights, but I believe that Dragons going to rescue Garp instead of head to Elbaph.
Family is the most important thing to Dragon, he had to cut himself off from his own Son so his enemies wouldn’t be able to use Luffy as a Weapon against Dragon.
I think Dragon will have Faith in his Son to protect Elbaph, maybe even using this opportunity as a chance to Ally with the Strawhats as a buildup to the Great War
People Expect Dragon to go to Elbaph now that the Holy Knights have arrived, but Oda is a master at diversion, so that’s why I can see him choosing to protect his Family at the Moment.
Considering to Dragon “A child is a weak spot for any Parent” I can see him following this same Mindset but in reverse
What if shanks and Shamrock are Garling clones?\
The first successful clone was 36 years ago (stussy) Shanks and Shamrock are 44
Hmmmm…
Confirmed twins already
Also Dragon might know that Blackbeards current goal is to Take over the World.
Dragon is going to need to put a stop to Blackbeard before Luffy can destroy the Government, or else Blackbeard will fill the Void left by the WG, making their efforts useless if they don’t stop him now.
.....why am I just realizing that Luffy also had a sun symbol on his wano outfit, too..?😭 😭
I know it's not much, but the realization is insane
Look at his right hand hmmm , i bet joyboy looks like exactly when u think about ab pirate characteristics: wooden leg , hook instead of hand and most importantly eye patch. I think joyboy is the man with eye patch which oda mentioned that in the near end of the story a man with eye patch will appear
Possible but I wouldnt really say its a confirmation
Oda draws limbs a bit messed up and scribbly sometimes
let me find an example
Luffy's foot here
lol
Dragon will probably be the one to free Doflamingo from Impel Down. The only people who could free him from Impel Down have to be against the World Government and in the Paradise section of the Grandline. This leaves the Revolutionary Army which already previously had a secret base in Impel Down filled with people who could breakout when the moment called for it
I like the thought but luffys leg looks much more like joyboys left leg, which I agree that he has a peg leg, in that drawing Luffy's leg has more curves whereas joyboys leg is very much a straight line
Yeah I'm not ruling it out that it could be a pegleg (that is really piratey and joyboy was the FIRST pirate after all) I just am skeptical because it also looks like its just a halfway drawn scribble ankle in a silohuette
Theory:
Louis Arnote is Scopper Gaban using a psuedonym
-
Louise Arnote wrote and published "Brag Men", the book Nami read when they were on little garden
-
Brag Men is labelled "fiction romance" and we know that Scopper is a self-proclaimed "preacher of love" and writing a fictional romance novel seems in character (chapter 115) (chapter 1139)
-
Mentions that "exploring is his thing" when asked about how he knows there Loki's key is located by Rodo
-
The book refers to giants inhabiting the island of Little Garden which would place the book of having being written and published between 100 years ago (when Dorry and Broggy got there) to 22 years ago (destruction of Ohara since it was also seen in there as well in the ANIME not the manga (episode 278, so this may not even be canon unless Oda instructed them to include it)
-
This time span fits Scopper exploring the entire grand line with the Roger Pirates who disbanded 25 years ago
-
Newest Louis Arnote quotes describing Elbaf in chapter 1132 are shown alongside the silhouette of Scopper Gaban walking around the forest, paneling choice here by Oda seems to suggest they could be related
Speculatory:
-
Scopper and Shanks would have met Dorry and Broggy if the Roger Pirates actually went to little garden in the past, and we know they are old friends
-
Possible the giants Louis Arnote was referring to on Little Garden were just large dinosaurs and not literally the Giant Race

i have a theories where luffy wears the same hat shanks wore
Well my theory is that it was actually Gold Roger’s hat
Theory: In an attempt get a W somewhere down the line shamrock would cut off his arm to impersonate shanks for some major shenanigans
We have to be getting a showdown between shanks and shamrock right?
he laughed
Still does imo
There is a theory about a guy in the Roger pirates with some designs similar to Morgan’s being Morgan’s. It would be another writer pseudonym. Is the book a love romance or romance as in romance dawn?
Mihawk is the son of imu
Also has flood proof travel like the other known Roger Pirates
who's the mother?
Kureha
I’d replace Morgan’s with the Giant Ass Egg lmfao
Did we ever get the teased pirate that wears an eyepatch? I remember speculation that it was Scopper
Speaking of joyboy, I’m rereading 1120 and noticing how often emeth refers to Luffy as joyboy. And it makes me think about the left side of the mural and wondering if that is meant to depict the 3rd world or the 2nd. I know there has been a lot of discussion about this and I can’t decide which part I agree with but him calling Luffy joyboy multiple times is coming across so odd to me after the mural. Idk mostly rambling here to see if someone wants to discuss lol
I've considered that as well just because of the ark maxim and the lightning bolt
Idk about the mural part, but I heard a nice theory that Nika was the God which the fruit is inspired by from the first World, Joyboy was in the 2nd world (Void century) and was the first to awaken that fruit, and Luffy is the 2nd to awaken the fruit. So instead of us thinking of Joyboy and Nika as one and the same, the theory goes that they were 2 separate individuals.
This is facts
Has there ever been an explanation as to why the character designs kept changing in the start of Elbaf?
What did change?
The Straw Hats' designs kept changing in chapter 1127
Idk why tho
In one panel we see Nami with a sword on her back, then the next panel it's gone
Luffy had a sword on his back too but it changed to an axe
Ah its normal, just some error shit.
Could shamrock have immortality like the gorosei
Unlikely. His dad probably definitely has it now though.
after the recent chapters referring to the moon so much, Enel wanting to go to the moon bc he's "God" and luffys gear 5 is white instead of orange/yellow like the sun, makes me think his true dream is "I want to have a feast with all my friends on the moon that I met on my journey!😁" something childish and impossible. also seems fitting to everyone's reactions he told.
Rereading one piece currently and whitebeard said to shanks the wound i got from that guy aches whenever i look at your face is it possible that Shamrock wounded whitebeard possibly during Gods Valley incident?
Shamrock would still be a baby during God Valley
I think Whitebeard meant Figarland Garling
definitely not Shamrock during God Valley but maybe Garling or maybe he fought Shamrock later on
so you are saying, he fought shamrock who is a baby? shamkrock and shanks are twins.
death predictions
Would Kong live or die (If he ever becomes relevant)
kong never dies
were you on drugs when you made this
maybe
If you’re not familiar, let me introduce you to the story of Ame-no-Uzume (aka the One Piece):
the holy knights as a concept doesnt seem like something that oda thought of until a few years ago
so i doubt whitebeard was talking about garling tbh
probably roger or blackbeard he was talking about
Or, he thought of Shamrock or Garling but hadn't established what he would be quite yet
yeah but theres no evidence for that though
Except that he says Shanks's face reminds him of his scar, which could mean someone shanks was associated with, but the existence of Shanks's family suggests otherwise
Yes and in that chapter (434) is the reveal that Shanks was a member of Rogers crew, which highly suggests that whitebeard associates his face with battling Roger and his crew.
Also possible the other person it could be in Blackbeard and whitebeard's "scars" are less literal, because later in that chapter shanks reveals his scar was given to him by Blackbeard. So he could look at Shanks's face, sees the 3 face scars, and associates it with Blackbeard. Less likely than Roger though
No foreshadowing or inclination that the holy knights existed or shanks had a family until 907, like 20 years into the series
js
The holy knights specifically, but I am pretty confident that Shanks’ backstory(even what we don’t know yet) was already figured out.
Right after Alabasta we got a bunch of big names introduced for the first time and Oda’s process is to create their history from the beginning. (A concept his first editor apparently drilled into him)
Many of them have ties to God Valley.
Maybe Garling was originally just a regular CD, or maybe even one of the 5 elders were originally going to be his father, but Oda knew his origins during WB and Shanks’ confrontation
Anyone else thinking we getting more Zeff at some point. I feel he was underutilized in WCI cause Oda wants to do more with him, similar to how we probably get more about the Shimutuski Dojo later.
Nika's symbol of the sun with 8 dots is what the world government's symbol is made from. It's literally that -3 dots with a connecting line drawn
Im pretty sure the WG is the 4 seas connected to Mariejoise
It can be both
Guys, I think Gaban is joyboy. If you think about it scopper is always seen smiling/laughing, and he gives “joy” to all the women of the different species of the one piece world. Then you get to his 2 axes. In communism, axes are seen as a symbol of freedom, which joyboy/gaban represents. This is why yall need to start believing in Gaban and understand he is the one who will find the one piece and break the red line, therefore freeing the world
I always wonder about one dialogue from Fishman Island arc. The one about the Kraken on the pole.
I still wonder why is there a kraken on the pole, and why were there 2 in the first place before one of them was taken away?
What were they doing? Who led them there? Are they descendents of some Krakens who arrived there? If yes, then why did those Krakens arrive there? On the poles....are the poles icy like ours? Or is it different?
No one knows anything else about the poles, the poles aren't even mentioned ever again throughout the entire one piece I have watched nor in any of spoilers of later arcs I have seen. It's like this dialogue is just there to be forgotten on purpose. Literally.

While I do agree that fleshing it out as the holy knights is recent. I have been saying for a decade that Marie Geoise and the huge amount of land in redline had to have some kind of ground equivalent to the marines and some extra forces like a royal guard elite. Kong existing above the fleet admiral always pointed to more forces akin to the marine being out there. If he manages the guy responsible for the marines there must be several guys like Sengoku/Akainu he manages
did anyone made a theory about oro jackson being hidden in elbaf yet? surely this exist already
You are just straight up trolling
i think that joybox is actually brook bcz joboy ate the nika fruit but then he ate the revive fruit so he died but he kept nika so then he turned into brook:D and he just forgor he used to be sun god
also.
nami is the daughter of blackbeard
buggy and franky are from Nefertari D. clan based on their hair color
Clover is related to Shanks and Shamrock
Why did Oda choose franky to choose to see the text
Hes Pluton
Wranky been on the rise in agenda piece
I think Usopp fights Shamrock
Most Likely Franky saw Pluton on the Mural, which was probably something Familiar to him at the moment.
Franky covering what is Pluton could signify Frankys importance in the endgame
Could be a ship with a Lion Mast like the Sunny
Clover is related to Blackbeard
Ya'll need to stop throwing out crockpot theories without any evidence
ayt so check this out, a shamrock is a type of clover. and shamrock is related to shanks
WASSUP with that bro?
That's what I was after some evidence, I don't hate it now 🙏
Although he is a D. Clan and I don't think that the WG would let anyone who is D. Be a part of the celestial dragons or holy knights, unless garling has successfully hidden that from Imu/WG
Good point broski good point

Nerona Imu was a person who got turned immortal by the op op fruit in the past but it turned him/her into like a shadowy mass thing. Imu is currently inhabiting lily's body
That's why lily never returned home
And now imu wants vivi in order to swap bodies or something
That's my imu schizo theory
my hot take : kuwina isn't dead, she got taken by the celestials to be a god knight. Ppl always debate zoro vs mihawk greatest swordsman, but zoro needs a rival to clash with kinda like shamrock though unlikely. Bet its kuwina and she isnt dead. Been rewatching the series a few times, and her death is one of the few things that don't make sense. - I also wonder, what it pinzoro's sword was wado ichimongi? we never got the full zoro backstory so maybe theres more to it waiting to come?
ms paint version 😭
and imu
But the ship on there looks like enels ship???
What if pluton it self was past down from the sky people because it was also stated that all races working together
You can see minks fish men
Kings race I forgot what’s it’s called
And the wano guys
It also shows a whale which could be laboon and in fish men island it shows Luffy breaking the red line. He did that so laboon can help them fight?????
So I know many theorists theorized dragon has the Quetzalcoatl mythical DF, and to add to that the fact that RA flag has some sort of winged serpent, makes me think that their theory is most likely true especially when you consider the Aztec stuff in one piece and the Harley, but even if he isn't that, he is definitely some kind of other mythical winged serpent or dragon, there is 0 chance the flag is not related to dragon himself and is just symbolic
Same way thar BB flag most likely has something to do with BB having 3 souls or three DF
Imu gonna look like this neckbeard version of Emperor Nero:
Genesis is probably reborn or a new age has been born, think new generation sorta thing
Nerona is also mentioned in the mural on elbaph
Good shit totally forgot
Anyone else think the one piece world is a Dyson sphere
it’s probably One Piece of Equipment that will destroy the Redline
My greatest One Piece theory yet.
The One Piece is a missing piece of the Strongest Pirate Docking Emperor that’s gonna Combine with Pluton, Poseidon, and Uranus.
And all of them together in the Pirate Docking Emperor are gonna Destroy the Red line
Oda choosing franky to be infront of the harely scriptures can’t be a coincidence. Iv scammed through the mural and iv seen the known ancient weapons but pluton and franky was placed infront of it because he use to have the blueprints to it and I don’t think a cyborg would forget so easily also his bounty poster was once a ship. A) he turns him self into pluton to defeat imu(this would also mean he dies and Oda has stated one of the straw dies). B) him and Icrberg bulid pluton with some modifications since the other pluton is under wano somewhere. They probably won’t be able to get it because Vega punk has said that the world is gonna sink. Someone tell me if you inconsistency in my theory/if I’m wrong scriptures
A)* im pretty sure the death of a straw hat was referred to going merry
Yup
When Oda said one of the straw hats would die he was talking about merry, she died shortly after he said this. I do think Franky will be important to Pluton but maybe more of a repairman type role because he's surely memorized the blueprints himself. And the Pluton under Wano will definitely be important to the story otherwise there'd be no narrative reason for all the shipwrights of Water 7 to protect the blueprints for all those years and it would ruin the moment of Franky burning the blueprints
him having almost unlimited supply of Adam's wood in elbaf
surely that will go somewhere and pay off
Emperors are going to start teaming up as the seas get more dangerous from W.G, Holy Knights etc. Surprise return of Kadio and Big Mom.
Shanks teaming up with BB because he doesn’t trust him at all, but thinks BB is the ‘biggest’ threat to the One Piece.
Meanwhile Strawhats someone tangled up in an ‘alliance’ with Cross Guild..and Buggy proves his worth..like give the clown a tiny tiny real win..
I just want more backstabbing and dramaaa
Rewatching old episodes from time skip. This big here "wishing to satan"
This bit here**
Satan King of the devil's
Most likely a clue to the powers wr see goresie use for teleportation and the mural than mentions demons and wishing
Latest episode they mention a country that practises magic
I think imu comes from this country
Kenzan Island. Home of longarms.
Another stuff to ponder, somehow, the Gorosei knew Luffy VS Kaido would awaken Nika's.
Wouldn't it be far fetched to think that the Roger's pirates knew what would happened, and thus, never went to Wano because they knew that Joy Boy would awaken in Wano VS Kaido ?
Thus, if they tried to take down Kaido before this would pass, they would ruin the " prophecy " and what they saw on laugh tale ? ( and explains too why they did not say anything and went all into retirement on their side )
It was gonna happen eventually and agaisnt kaido makes the most sense since he is the first extremely strong oppoent luffy had to 1v1 with
And the first one that he was able to keep up
I have the same theory!!
Especially bc if imu was summoned, they needed a sacrifice. It's very traditional that a woman is sacrificed and lily is the most prominent female we know of from that time.
Theory: Shanks has not eaten any df but has one in his sword like Shamrock
gryphon
Yes
Brooks former captain Yorkie is a not only alive but is currently serving as one of the gods knights
the 4 bits of "evidence" for this included that
the rumbar pirates originate in the west blue (same place as god valley suggesting the WG have a preference for this sea
the gods knights recruit through a mix of drafting people of potential from outside eg loki and presumably gunko and through being a world noble eg the figarlands
brook has a large gap in his history between his time as a soldier and becoming a pirate along with no knowledge of how he got his fruit
the CDs like to torture those who wrong them (eg having ginny ||likely raped|| and produce bonney and infect them both with a deadly seemingly uncurable disease in order to torture kuma for escaping god valley
how do these connect? well i believe that back in his younger days brook was a very well known and respected member of his kingdoms military enough to gain recognition from the world government. he was then confronted by 1 of the gods knights through a summoning circle and was told to join them. upon seeing the summoning circles he grew to fear what the government stood for so he fled to a life at sea. where rather than pilaging and plundering like most pirates. they seeked to bring smiles to the islands they run into on their journey. in the grand line on an unnamed forest island when the world government started their ploy to make sure brook regretted his decision, the poisoning of yorkie that lead to hid departure and the promotion of brook to captain.
flash forward to a future voyage when the crew gets defeated by an unknown entity. rocks? no a random no named pirate crew or marine group? no, this was likely one of the gods knights and my guess, a young figarland garling. upon bringing the crew to a near death state he flees and makes his way to wherever yorkie was and informing him of his crews defeat at the hands of pirates, then granting him a spot among them
ran out of characters which is why the end was rushed
word

are the yoakai devil fruits or do they come directly from imu?
also wondering whether the gorosei immortality is from the ope ope no mi or directly from imu as well since saturn had aging in his death. 🙂
my theory is that the thousand sunny is pluton
most of them in the series actually taste bitter and sour as most of the users say
I think it’s gotta be Imu as the source of their power similar to big mom and the homies
Same with devil fruit question
Roger is still alive
i feel imu is nika
look bcause the strawhat hhich mwns that imu is close relation to usopp
i mean nika sorry
and so imu being evil might show how even the warrior of liberation broke under something and how luffy needs to defeat it
na imu is the god of the forest cuz he nurtured the devils (goresei)
I mean its probably something imu related because non of the gorosei or shamrocks sword are stated as having devil fruits, they just say the name of the yokai so it's looking like it's an imu thing, some form of demonic magic
There is a scene that seems to hint they don’t have water weakness. They chased them over the sea recklessly and Saturn was cut to pieces just above the water and must have fallen to water and nothing happened
If this is true. It's a let down for me. One of the reason I hate Naruto late story because of a sudden "alien" entering the ninja war. So far, we have a devil fruit user and non-devil fruit man (with the help of haki). Suddenly a demonic power...? It's a lazy story development
More mythical zoans wouldn’t be lazy?
I mean I'd point more towards warcury jumping after the shipnas the more noteworthy example seen as Saturn couldve just been pulled out dried then regened there
He's talking about if they weren't devil fruits it would be lazy
That’s why I ask, if them being more mythical zoans would be fine. Because more mythical zoans would be lazy and repetitive to me.
Idk I'd say it's quite smart, hinting towards how devil fruits originated as magic powers that somehow became fruits
Thats true, it's the main reason I'm begging that Loki has the taiyo taiyo no mi (sun fruit) rather than the inu inu no mi model cerberus
Demons were introduced during the time skip ❤️ so they've been Canon for a while
I have a theory that Foxy didn't get a cover story because Oda didn't have a plan to have him back into the story.
Considering we are dealing with shanks, holy knights infiltrating elbaph, nika fruit, Loki thinking he ate the sun god fruit and who’s who being involved in the covers, I wouldn’t be surprised if there was a whole infiltration where the government swapped the Nika fruit with wathever Loki ate and it’s something absurd or just a gomu gomu non mythical zoan.
I just realized something their healing is probably from imu it's almost like they are imus shadows in a way. Their not healing because of a devil fruit or part of ope ope no mi there healing from imu
Can they even die without imu dying or imu killing them if that is the case
not really a theory but just something I noticed and I'm sure other people have as well but you got GOLD Rodger then SILVERs Rayleigh and finally sCOPPER Gaban. they all have metals that treasures would have been made out of in their names. they also appeared in decreasing rarity of metals with copper being last
potentionaly showing the parts the manga is reaching. Rodger was the beginning Rayleigh was the half way point and Gaban is the end.
The coinage metals comprise those metallic chemical elements and alloys which have been used to mint coins. Historically, most coinage metals are from the three nonradioactive members of group 11 of the periodic table: copper, silver and gold. Copper is usually augmented with tin or other metals to form bronze. Gold, silver and bronze or copper ...
Like how rayleigh taught luffy the 3 basic forms of haki, gaban will either teach him about using "the voice of all things" or hiding his presence like shanks can do (or both even)
would be neat
i think blackbeard has 3 personalities and one of the personality will be fearless like very fearless after he gets the last devil fruit imo
if blackbeard is going to get a third DF, he's probably going to try to get luffys since he now knows its the Nika DF since his wanted poster is the nika form
and its probably required to get the one piece
or use it at least
something like that
maybe when they meet and fight, blackbeard will use his power to absorb the nika fruit for a bit
he'd be the "destructor" nika version
probably wont happen because we didnt see a blackbeard reaction to luffys wanted poster
but would be neat
he didn’t get a cover story because he died floating aimlessly on his ship
duh
enel will return
he died shortly after this scene

Can i send a theory if it has 1140 spoilers in it?
you should probably wait til the chapter's published to do that
Daw Piss
I mean I can just take One part of it out and it won’t have any spoilers it just takes away a big piece of Evidence
Just wait the few days so you can have the complete theory up
Disclaimer: I don’t know Japanese.
So the letter/shape X has been mentioned many times in One Piece.
The pirate flags all contain crossed bones, but Oda has made it a point to mention pirates need the “X” when Luffy decided the Vivi mark.
In Japanese, the X is called “batsu”
I started out looking for possible puns or references to see if the Pirate X is a secret message from the void century. Possibly even the name of the ancient civilization that Clover was shot over.
There are a couple of things dealing with punishment, like “Shinbatsu” meaning Divine Punishment, but the biggest one that stood out to me was:
Batsubyou which means “Weigh Anchor” or “Set Sail”
I don’t know what to make of this information, but it feels important to the story.
Thoughts?
I’m gonna post the First half of my Theory since it doesn’t have any 1140 spoilers but wait to post the other half.
Sorry if it’s long af i’d also like some input 🙏
Lucky Charm Shanks ~ Rescued from GodValley by the Roger Pirates as a baby, Saint Patrick Figarland would Avoid his life as a Celestial Dragon, choosing to live as an ally of the D.
Shanks declared to Ben Beckman that it was finally time to get the One Piece back in Wano, just after learning that Luffy finally unlocked Gear 5. Now all of a Sudden he's on Elbaph reminiscing with Friends he had believed Dead?
Then we learn this is obviously just a reference to Shanks' past relationship with both Dorry and Broggy, as their shown on the Panel when Shanks states this. But I didn’t really have anything to do today, so I spent my time putting together this TinFoil Theory. Leaving me to believe that this Quote from Shanks was yet another sneaky Foreshadowing towards Scopper Gaban being the Man on the Coast.
Here we Begin with the start of what i'll explain as Shanks' "Luck of the Irish". This Man Red Haired Shanks just happened to sail All the way into one of the Deadliest Territories ruled over by Kaido, just to check if some Info on Blackbeard was real. Then just so happens to find the Admiral Greenbull attempting a Cowardly, but potentially Devastating attack on the extremely Weakened Forces in Wano and New Generation Itself.
Shanks Alone then uses his Color of Conquerers, forcing Greenbull to Retreat his Tactical, but Disgusting play entirely. Leading into Shanks sailing straight to Elbaph, with the Goal of informing them of their God Nikas return, (as we find out during the Climax of Egghead).
Now before I go any further Let me explain what I mean by "Luck of the Irish". For those who don't know and don't care to Look it up, this was a Derogatory term used against the Irish during the Gold Rush to discard any Skill that went into their Success of finding Gold.
This is essentially a Key Theme in One Piece that we haven't even been subtly told, but Shown Time and Time again. Especially when it comes to the Likes of the Four Emperors Luffy, Blackbeard, Buggy, and Shanks. Whereas despite these Four Characters being insanely Talented, they've been given some of the best Luck imaginable in the terms of the Story. (For Obvious Reasons Lol)
But now due to Shamrocks name being of Irish descent, Shanks' intended name as a Celestial Dragon would be none other than "Saint Patrick".
My Reasonings for this being, In Celtic Myth Saint Patrick used the Shamrock’s 3 sides as an explanation for the Christian Concept of the "Father, Son, and Holy Spirit" to the Pagans, a Religion of People who worshipped Multiple Gods. (Just like the D Clan and their Allies Opposing the World Government believing in their 4 Main Gods)
This is where i'm either Insane, or actually just figured it out. But in Shanks case who would grow up Opposing these Holy Ideas and embracing the Pirate Life, and eventually Nika. He would Symbolically add a Fourth Side to the Shamrock, creating a Four Leaf Clover. The Irish Symbol of Warding off Evil Spirits and Granting luck, that is Heavily associated with Saint Patrick himself, and his Own Day which is just coincidentally coming up on the Upcoming Date of March 17.
Now these four sides of the clover to Shanks could Represent Roger (His "Father"), Himself (Roger's "Son"), Sun God Nika (His Holy Spirit/ "God"), and finally Joyboy/Luffy (The Liberators of the Gods he Resents)
These Connections alone give him a Plausible way to get All Four Poneglyphs in this ridiculous fashion were used too, without feeling like we've been cheated out of it by him just getting them
Jesus how is this just the first half i dont remember writing that much 😭
Sounds kinda cool but probably should just come back to it after chapter out
I mean it honestly just started as me tryna find some more pieces that place Scopper as the Burn Scar, but I winded up finding out even more Connections for Shanks like Saint Patrick, the Religious aspect of the Shamrock, and even the Luck of the Irish being Odas cannon form of Plot Armor lol.
I completely forgot about this panel.
Ye, he hasn't forgotten him, but it's more of a fanservice to show his face and suggest he lost his ship and 500-member crew except for 2 most loyal sidekicks. But that panel confirms it - Foxy is Rocks's son.
is Nico Robin the only person in the crew who pre-Elbaf saw the newspaper with Vivi pic with that "X" mark?
Don't think so
Enel needs to come back
mf went to the MOON
not even the world government can do that
Has someone ever mentioned a theory comparing Imu and Luffy to the One for All and the All For One in My Hero Academia? I have this theory and I believe in this even more after seeing the powers that these ''God Knights'' are using, by teleporting instantly the same way as the Five Elders did. Also, one of the elders just gets killed by Imu, his power vanishing from nowhere.
Maybe Imu has a special Devil Fruit, or perhaps it's something even greater, but I do see similarities on the shows, specially because this is the most powerful way to showcase a hero, who fights for everyone, and a villain, who makes everyone fight for him (not literally).
hopefully when enel meets imu he will shock him first, ask later
What will happen to grap ?
house ligma
Kirin from what I saw got water walking, flight and some fire powers. Gonna be interesting to see it in action.
The fact that he’s actually named qilingam makes me think some CD’s feed DFs to their newborns
we will see what name the official will give him
The Goal for Pirate King has consisted of 4 Major Steps that the Strawhats must complete in order for Luffy to become The Pirate King.
Despite getting sidetracked in the Process, we have been Told and know Exactly what these steps consist of.
Reaching the Grandline, Reaching the New World, Gathering the Four Road Poneglyphs, and finally Reaching Laughtale. Only becoming King after finishing the Last Step.
Now might I point out that during the Course of our Journey, both Crocus and Rayleigh appeared during the Process of Completing the First and Second steps Respectively.
With both of them sending Luffy, the future Pirate King and his Crew onto the next goal.
Now Finally, having been at the 3rd Goal for over 500 Chapters Now, a consistent Theme when it comes to the way Oda Structures each Steps timeframe.
Reaching the GrandLine at chapter 100.
Reaching the New World 655
And now if the Story is going to follow a format of 100 chapters for the First and Fourth Steps, with the Second and Third both being 555 Chapters.
Off this Logic, the Final Poneglyph will be given to us by Scopper Gaban During Chapter 1210, just 70 Chapters away from 1140, this would make Elbaph last around 84 Chapters, a Very fitting Length for a Final Saga Arc, following Eggheads 63 chapters.
Then from here we can Assume it’ll take 100 chapters to get from this point, to reach Laughtale, allowing for Oda to give the Story some much needed breathing room, allowing us the Chance to follow the Other Factions.
Then we can assume that The Strawhats will reach Laughtale in chapter 1310, making this then Beginning of the Real end of the Story.
I’d like to point out that Roger’s 4 men were places very Strategically as well in this Plan.
Crocus as the Weakest, being solely on the Lookout and as a Welcome to the Future King.
Rayleigh as the Second Strongest, placed in the very Hub of Celestial Dragon activities. He actively sells himself into slavery for Cash, and scares people away on Aura Alone.
Gaban as the Third Weakest would be sent Entirely Undercover, Gatekeeping a Single Poneglyph from being taken by someone exactly like Blackbeard, someone Whitebeard Explicitly stated Roger wasn’t waiting for. This is why I belive that Scopper surrendered the key, so he could use Loki as a test, rather than himself how would be Way out his Prime to fight the White Warrior.
This now leads me into the Last Step of becoming Pirate King, reaching Laughtale. This is where I believe that none other than Red Hair Shanks stands as the Strongest Pirate Currently, as well as being the only Roger Pirate left in their Prime.
Here Shanks will fight Luffy, blooming his Haki for the Final Time in the Process, paving the way for Luffy to finally become strong enough to become Pirate King
TLDR: Scoppers the Burn Scar, Shanks will Fight Luffy on Laughtale. One Piece will end in the Next 170 to 200 Chapters
And if you look at Wano through the Lense of being 3 Acts, lasting 50 chapters each. This points even More to Elbaph consisting of somewhere in the range of the 50s and 80s.
Yet Another Pattern that might have been missed is the Way Oda uses two Arcs to setup up One Big Arc.
Fishman (51) + Punk Hazzard(46) =Dressrosa (102)
Here we get a breaking point with Zou, Even being the Starting Point of the 3rd Goal.
Next is Wci(78) + Reverie, Wano Act 1, and 2(46) = Onigashima(98)
Now we have Egghead(63) + Elbaph(84) = Laughtale(100)
All of these Factors Lining up in No Way seems like a coincidence knowing Oda, So if I am Right, we could see an All out Fight between a Prime Luffy, and Prime Shanks within the next couple Years. Cementing them being the current Roger and Whitebeard of this New Era.
I wish shanks die in the story without fighting luffy. Ace 2.0.
Ok here’s my Laughtale Prediction.
While the Redhair Pirates await for Luffy’s Arrival on Laughtale, The Strawhats and Crossguild are going to arrive unknowingly at the exact same time.
Here we will get a Davy Back fight for Luffy, as he is the Key to the One Piece as Joyboy after all.
The 3rd and Final fight of the Davy Backfight will be about Crossguild taking Luffy as their Prize to Enter Laughtale.
Now here is the best part.
This Final Battle will end up being between the Two Strongest Members remaining to fight, Zoro and Mihawk.
Here Zoro will Fight for his Captain back, taking the Title of Worlds Strongest Swordsman from Mihawk, proving his worth as the Pirate Kings Right Hand.
Now after the Strawhats finally arrive on Laughtale, this is where Luffy will get his own Battle, Fighting Red Haired Shanks for the Ultimate Title of Pirate King.
Here of Course Luffy will Win, giving Shanks the Strawhat back becoming his own Pirate, Surpassing Shanks.
Then of course Shanks will finally Act on Blackbeard, unfortunately losing his Life in the Process.
Some reasoning for Buggy getting over his sickness to Laughtale as well could point to Law joining as their Crews Doctor. Him being a Warlord doesn’t even have to help this theory but it just adds more to the Pile.
I Believe that since Buggy will head to Wano First, here he will find a Beaten Law and Bepo still in Recovery after losing their Crew.
Here Buggy will recruit Law as his Doctor, convincing him to Join his Crew as a Parallel the way Roger did to aiden, as we already have Law and Oden Parellels.
After Wano and Law aiding them with the other 2 Poneglyphs. They will head for Zou, running into Red Haired Shanks, who will tell Buggy of Scopper being alive and holding the Last Poneglyph in Elbaph.
That’s how Crossguild ties into this Perfectly
For Kidd returning to the Story, I would love for him to be Trained by Gaban in the Background of all this.
Gaining an understanding that it is Luffy who is to become King, with himself becoming the “Whitebeard” of their Generation, acting as the Main Rival to Luffy rather than someone like Shanks or Buggy.
Fitting Law with the Oden Parallels, as he is just interested in the Knowledge rather than being King
You May now be asking
“ok well how does Blackbeard fit into this then”
He fits into this by not even mentioning King of the Pirates as his Goal first of all, but King of the World.
Teach is expressing Extreme interest in The Ancient Weapons right now.
With Caribou hand delivering Blackbeard the Exact Locations of Pluton and Poseidon, he’s going to use the current Chaos of the World invading both Wano and Fishman Island, both being Luffy’s Territories as Emporer.
More like seeking in, Blackbeard is not strong enough to solo these countries yet
Now, this ties Luffy and Blackbeards character arcs in the Final War together perfectly, giving us the parallel to Rocks fighting Roger and Garp back on God Valley.
Luffy will have no choice but to Team-up with Someone who acts a Friendly Rival to him from the World Government.
And who else represent Garp than The Future of the Marines himself?
Koby will, as he is now Actively reaching Garp status as a True Good Marine, even using his Moves as a Reference for his own
From here, Luffy and Koby as friends from the Start will overthrow the current World Government held the Hands of Imu and Akainu. Creating a Better, more Free World

I think alot of people underestimate the potential dynamic of Buggy and Law together.
With them meeting on Wano, Law could mistake Buggy as an Enemy coming to Fight for the Poneglyph. Law could even try using Room on Buggy, just to find out Buggy can re-attach his body parts as the Perfect Counter to Law.
But the instant Momonoske recognizes Buggy from their Childhoods, it’ll will lead into them all becoming Friends and they might even Share a Drink.
Now Buggy knows he can’t get near Laughtale due to the Sickness, this is the point where Buggy recognizes Law for the Doctor he is, asking him to Join Crossguild
This could even play out in a Manner similar to Roger and Oden Begging Whitebeard to let Oden go on the Journey to Laughtale.
With the “Whitebeard” in this situation literally being the White Haired Bepo
Almost certainly 100% law would try to use his devil fruit on buggy only to find it hard countered. I could see his crewmates becoming buggystans god ussop style, though I think the most interesting interaction cross guild wise would be crocodile given they are both master plan style characters.
Buggy might unlock something in himself during their Battle Against the Seraphim.
People have theorized that S-Croc has the Chip Chop fruit due to Buggy’s time as a Warlord, with the Chop Chop fruit given the Chance to be to its Full Potential by a Tactical Monster.
Buggy seeing this and Outright refusing to be beaten once more by Crocodile using none other than His own Fruit against him could Absolutely send Buggy over the Edge.
This Outburst alone could potentially give him the chance to Awaken either his Fruit or Conquers Haki, or Even Both, finally become an Actual Rival worthy of Pirate King.
If Buggy can grow Stronger at all through the Use of Haki or his Fruit, this could easily put him above Crocodile And Mihawk as the Rightful Leader of Crossguild
Rahh I thought i pressed Respond to This, however this could be how Croc and Mihawk finally Recognize Buggy as a Real Leader
i think he will still be a joke character
Oh of course, that’s exactly why he will be used as a Red Herring and Precursor to Shanks being the Final Boss of Laughtale
If you scroll up I have a whole theory about Crossguild and The Strawhats reaching laughtale at the same time.
And through a Davy Back fight over Luffy, the only one who can Unlock Laughtales true Potential, Zoro will have to Fight Mihawk for his Captain back, finally achieving the title of Worlds Strongest Swordsmen.
Proving himself as the Vice Captain and Pirate Kings Right Hand, showing that they are Truly Worthy of being the Pirate Kings Crew
I dont think they are ever recognizing Buggy as somehow above them
lol you do have a point but Buggy is going to reach Laughtale at some point, Maybe he just becomes Immune to both of them after understanding his fruit completely.
Buggy has every right to atleast get the Chance to See Laughtale, it was Taken from him as a Kid Twice.
First by the Sickness, Second by Shanks not wanting to become King right away.
They could see him as an Equal Finally?
I dont think they are recognizing him as an equal to mr.1 or even mr 3
I think you might just be Underestimating him a Slight bit.
Odas giving Buggy all this Love for a reason, he wouldn’t just Throw a Current Emperor and Former Roger Pirate away before getting the chance to Fulfill his Dream.
I can’t see Buggy leaving Croc and Mihawk with his crew This Late, but maybe he goes Solo on his Journey to Laughtale.
This still takes away the Opportunity for Mihawk to Fight Zoro over Luffy in a Davy Back Fight, something setup in the Story for a Purpose.
Buggy will have a great character moment probably
When the fight for the One Piece starts
Exactly He wouldn’t be so prominent still if this Wasn’t the Case
Imu doesn't have a devil fruit power Imu is the devil.
I used to think that he had the op op fruit used on him to make him immortal but I'm starting to think that hes just the devil which would explain why hes living so long.
as far as eneru goes I think hes just gonna come and join luffy with the autonimos of whatever the little guys are and help em fight imu in the end.
Imu being the “devil among is” is interesting
What do you think is in the tower that Gaban intentionally or unintentionally dropped to where Loki is that he would react to? Skull of is dada?
Lokis right there?
Here is my theory: Dragon and Wyper are coming to Elbaf. First, I think it is all but confirmed that Dragon is making his way to Elbaf. He said that now that the God's Knights (Holy Knights) are making their moves, it is time for the Revolutionary army faction to similarly start making moves. Due to the high concentration of God's Knights now present near the Walrus school with the Straw Hat pirates seemingly unaware for the time being, it would be natural for the Revolutionary army to make a movie to defend Elbaf from the God's Knights. We are unaware of the strength scale of these new antagonists so it is unfair to place them at some arbitrary position on the basis of their strength for the time being. Therefore, for now, I will be glossing over that point.
Similarly, I do believe that there is a high degree of uncertainty in Wyper (and the rest of the members from the Skypiea arc) to show up this arc. This all comes from the Harley mural that we saw a couple of chapters ago. It was obvious that in that mural that we saw Uranus, the moon folk, Shandorans, Birkans, etc. In the clear direction of the story right now, there is no room for them to fit in when we do know that Enel's cover story from a few hundred chapters ago still rings relevance to today. Therefore, this does beg the question of how they will be slotted back into the story? I think that the Heaven World of Elbaf is exactly how. Operating in the assumption that the Sky Islands/sky are relatively easy to traverse through as opposed to travelling through the blue sea, we can say that Wyper is nearby the Elbaf area. Perhaps the Skypieans (and or Shandorans) also have some sort of prophecy for themselves unbeknownst to us at the moment. It could be telling of a story analogous to the Harley mural. Due to this, they may be travelling to Elbaf to form an alliance with Luffy and help him in his fight against the World Government.
In sum though, I find it likely for Wyper and Dragon to show up this arc.

The dragon at the front of shanks ship kinda looks like the serpent thing in the mural no? I might be trippin… maybe he fights Blackbeard while luffy fights imu at the end? I don’t see why Blackbeard would be luffys nemesis.
Cuz luffy hates bb more than anyone except akainu im guessing
yo im an anime only that looks at manga spoilers. this may be off but i have a theory about the half moon stuff and the 'D'. what imu said is that the people that currently hold the 'D' moniker are "hollow shells" and dont know the meaning of their own name. what if the 'D' was supposed to be a half moon and got lost in translation now is a hollow half moon, AKA a 'D'?! may be a stretch but idk
huh?
I’m considering already true that D = half moon
The truth behind the missing 3 eyed tribe:
Shamrock who has the lesser commander title, not the supreme commander title that Garling had, has been assumed by people to be the current second comman in the gods knights... leaving the current surpreme commander position after Garling was promoted open for some unknown mystery character... or so we have assumed. What if Shamrock simply hasnt been home and had the chance to be promoted yet and doesn't even know about the promotion of Garling? Perhaps this is why he is being summoned home, to be promoted.
I just had a Crazy thought if any of my theories come out to be true 🤣
If Law joins Crossguild as Buggy’s Doctor, they would still need to sail to Elbaph to meet Gaban for a Poneglyph.
This could tie back into Laws relation with the Burn Scar, as maybe after Sabaody he ran into Gaban?
But now back on Elbaph, if Buggy Law and the Others arrive, Guess who would also be here as well.
Eustass Captain Kidd, who could appear in a perfect parallel to Luffy after the Time skip except with No Jimbei to help him recover.
Now heres where i’m Cooking, Imagine if Buggy managed to convince a Washed Up Eustass Kidd to join his crew to bring the Pirate back into him
Giving both Law and Kidd the chance to reach Laughtale without having to be king
If Momonoske is also on Crossguild as their Poneglyph reader, it would only leave Wano in Yamato and the Scabbards hands.
And I don’t know about you guys but if the Last Panel we saw of Wano is Blackbeard, i’m not sure they’d be able to handle to Off Screen haki
And if we wanna give Kidd even more of a reason to join while building Blackbeards presence in the Background.
Having Blackbeards crew invade Impel Down before this happens gives us Multiple Perfect Outcomes.
-
It Sets Blackbeard up to learn about the 3rd Ancient Weapon from Doflamingo, recruiting him into the Titanic Crew as a Direct Opposition to Law on Buggy’s Crew.
-
It sets Blackbeard up to free Demaro Black in the process who is dressed up as Kidd. I think Kidd seeing this would be a Valid reason for returning in order to destroy someone Vandalizing his name.
Saw a video of a YT Brago reminded me about the precious metals rogers crew represents and started to think about luffy ,zoro and sanji their names dont represent metals but Luffy as Nika representing Gold and the Sun and Zoro King Of Hell Symbolizing Silver and The Moon . With Sanji I think with training with Scopper will representing Fire or the Heavens to align with Copper (def can have deeper meaning (sorry for the grammar)
- If Kuzan is a Double Agent for Dragon as another “Son” of Garp, it gives him set the Revolutionaries stuck in level 5.5 free, giving them the chance to Reunite with their New Kamabaka family.
Maybe this is what sets Red Flags off for Kuzan possibly being an Agent for Sword, not realizing he’s working with Dragon?
Cause he’s just waiting to give himself his Depth Perception back, so he finally can not get Lost. and also Rayleigh has the same scar
Zoro’s been secretly training his Directional Skills this whole time
Imagine in the fight against Mihawk, he refuses to fight Zoro because he only has 1 eye, then Zoro just opens it
And now he’s truly unstoppable as he can’t get Lost
zoro eye opening will happen they do a trio final move
Zoros eye might just be a rule of cool thing and never come up or have any relevance
Oooh I just thought of a Neat Way that Marco, King, and Katakuri could join The Red Hairs in their Final fight against Blackbeard 👀
Considering Each of the Yonko Commanders have been affected by either Luffy, Blackbeard, or Both.
And i said ooohhhhhhh god that could be scary
Here’s my reasoning for Shanks collecting the YC1 Commanders of the Fallen Yonko.
- Marco: During Wano, Shanks revealed to Marco he was after the One Piece with no other Explanation besides wanting him to Join his Crew.
Now Marco would have no interest in going on a Journey for the Poneglyphs or even reaching Laughtale to make Shanks King. But that is where my theories above come into Play.
If Shanks is on his way to Laughtale as a final test to Luffy/Joyboy, then I believe that after this the Red Hairs will Declare War against the BlackBeard Pirates
This gives Shanks the opportunity to run into Marco right now, learning that their is no Adventure, and that Shanks has 3 of the Poneglyphs and is heading to Zou for the 4th.
- Katakuri: This man has just lost his Sister to Blackbeards Crew, and whether we Realize it or not, this was unintentionally Casued by Luffy.
Due to their Battle on WCI driving Big Mom out of Totto Land, this gave Kuzan and Van Augur the perfect chance to Sneak in and Kidnap Pudding right from under Katakuri.
We know that Katakuri puts Family above All Else, as he Let Luffy go after Clearly being able to fight for Longer. Now this gives him a reason to Find Luffy, and Force him to help get Pudding Back.
This is where Shanks would come in, ultimately revealing to Katakuri that they are on their way to Laughtale to Test Luffy, then off to fight Blackbeard as Last Stand.
Because Luffy won't be considered Top 1 pirate without beating either Teach or Shanks
makes sense
Do you have their positions/titles in Japanese?
Uh no but I've seen several people call this distinction out. Library of Ohara has surely commented on it.
I’ll post my reasonings for King in a little bit, but this Mirrors Buggy collecting Warlords in a Perfect Fashion.
1 Emperor - 4 Warlords
1 Emperor - 4 YC1 Commanders
also imagine the Panel of all the Red Hairs and former YC1 Standing around Laughtale while Shanks waits for Luffy
does anyone notice zoro's sandai kitetsu turns black in 1140?
Mihawk it’s an ex holy knight, he uses same language than holy knights and tenryubitos (credit @retrodlatenight on tiktok)
Permanently?
What if upon Shanks only visit to Mariejois he ran across God Knight in Training Mihawk, where they would both Breakout from the Hell on Earth.
But Mihawk was just like Gunko, who hadn’t quite reached the Rank of Saint just yet.
Maybe Gunko and Mihawk are Half Blooded Celestial Dragons, not quite deserving of their Full Titles yet? 🧐
Like Bonney being Half Celestial Dragon, Gunko could be a Bonney Victim?
Especially if Shamrock is Bonneys Father
Would be an insane way to tie the Three together
I found them and put them side-by-side
They are indeed different
On the right is Garling's title
Kami no kishidan (God's Knights) saikou shireikan
Shamrock just gets:
Kami no kishidan danchou (captain)
saikou shireikan is something like supreme/top/best commander
Interestingly, Shamrock also doesn't get the sei honorific (they just call him St. Garling's son
)
Gunko and Bonney are Half Siblings?!
I shouldn't listen to people on the internet. I posited the same theory a day or two ago and people told me they had the same title
Him being summoned Back to Mariejois for the Promotion, then leading the Rest of the Holy Knights back to Elbaph

Jesus this arc is gonna be Crazy
Bink's Sake is the story of Joyboy's adventure as a pirate, going around the world and sharing his sake and making friends, who later of which would all come to help him fight the void century war
Safe bet I think
Just gonna leave this here as some Support for my Theory on the Strawhats Following a 100, 555, 555, 100 Chapter Cycle
Either i’m Cracked or im Cooked 😂
I can explain it more in Detail as well soon, but My God does this not fit well?
If we want to consider Devil Fruits as manifestations of man’s dreams. And seemingly Haki is the manifestation of man’s Will. A dream cannot be pursued without the will to do so which is why Haki is seemingly so effective. We can see a Maxim striking upon a great tree on the mural. We know that something happened to the Forbidden Flame where the source of power become finite. Could it have been the WG in an effort to truly become gods that they used the power upon the tree defying law of nature thus resulting in the sea rejecting the power.?
This is why I believe that Shanks didn’t aim to be Pirate King after Roger died, as Roger informed him he would need to have the Worlds Strongest Haki by the Time Joyboy finally arrives in the New Generation.
Shanks on Laughtale acting as Luffy’s final chance to Bloom his Haki to the Levels of Joyboy.
This fits the Constant theme of Luffy fighting Stronger Opponents, (Cracker, Katakuri, Kaido, and soon Loki?)
But ultimately Overcoming them with his Will in the End and becoming Stronger because of it.
He comes from a tribe of bulbous nosed people. Just like he’s ashamed of it, his people cover their noses with masks
And Personally, I believe that on top of Luffy blooming his Haki to a Degree, he will fully Unlock his Fruits Capabilities in his Battle against Loki.
Leading into him only needing to truly Unlock his Haki in the Battle against Shanks.
With Luffy becoming the Ultimate Master of both Will, and Desire
Loki and luffy friend friend they won't fight
As this is what the being the Pirate King is All About, Exactly why Roger himself could become King, but not Joyboy. As he would be Missing the less stronger Fruit Aspect.
And Again, who is the one who told us that Haki triumphs Devil Fruits? The Main Contender for Joyboy before Luffy arrived, Kaido.
Love to see them joking around
king of mischief and king of the pirates
Luffy and Loki will battle after taking down the Holy Knights as a way for Both of them to get Stronger
The same ways that Roger and Whitebeard Dueled
do you think always same things will happen as it was happened in the past?
Also for Loki to serve under Luffy, he will 100% Need to prove himself against Loki as the True Sun God.
This is where Loki will submit to Luffy, becoming the Second Captain of the New Giant Pirates that serve in the Strawhat Grand Fleet
Yes, I think that is Exactly what the Mural was trying to Tell Us
It’s exactly what happened in the Second World, but there is Enough Connections at this point for it to Represent the Third as Well.
With Luffy finally being the one to Break this Cycle.
Its going to be buggy collecting the YC1s, if not the whole empire: Weevil to Cross Guild is obvious, but Buggy in general recruits and organizes Luffy's former adversaries so Katakuri, King, and Queen joining is in line with Alvida and Mr. 3 on some level
Moriah is joining CG
99.9% chance lol
Wonder what happened to thriller bark
after moriah was captured
Katakuri under buggy doesnt sit right
bro the best one piece theory
every roger crew member is at each one of the final islands like shanks at laugh tale rayleigh at sabaody and scopper gaban at elbaph
rayleigh to train whoever is trying to become pirate king gaban for a test like in chapter 1140 with luffy and zoro and shanks guarding the one piece to make sure everyone who gets to laughtale is strong enough to defeat him because shanks is obviously not actually going for the one piece he just stole kid's poneglyph when he beat him using divine departure so that he can get to laughtale to test the first person to get there
Whats funny is shanks already knew where all the road pnelgyphs were the whole time
When he got them with the roger crew
Assuming Gaban is the man with the burn scar, shanks already knew him and where he lives, he knew zou had one because he went there, and wano and whole cake had the others
Gaban doesn't seem to fit any of the descriptions of Burn Scar tho?
gunko is 100% the sole user of the abyss and i believe she is in fact a departure of a fraction of imus power
it could also be that imu long ago somehow made gunkos arrow fruit come into existence or, following my previous theory that imu is the forest god in a weakened state who was partly responsible for devil fruits, imu brought it into existence long ago before losing massive amounts of power and kept it for the purpose the gunkos currently serves
anyways that is another story and not the main thing i wanna point out
specifically the way gunko reacted to saint kiringham's remark about the capabilities of the abyss, almost as if it was an insult
"man marked by flame" "man with the burn scar"
some translation
gaban has a scar that looks like a flame
100% him
bet
That doesn't look like a burn to me
And its also rly small so I wouldn't say he's "marked by flame"
Maybe slightly singed by flame
He also doesn't ride in an all black ship
Or create whirlpools
i mean do you really expect oda to make a scar that looks like this -> 🔥 and make it perfectly recognizable and obvious
the scar resembles a flame more than any other scar in the entire series
That’s a burn mark right?
Well I would expect it to actually look like a burn, yes. Someone like Sabo looks like he's been "marked by flame"
Not Gaban
luffy is the man marked by flames and secretly knows where the last road poneglyph is??!!?!?! 💥
Maybe dragon
also
Ahahaha
It's a translation thing
i believe it to be dragon more so than scopper
bc i imagine the marks/tattoos on dragon are perfectly healed scars made from a branding iron or something
Yea but Gaban doesn't look like he has a burn scar or is marked by flame so I don't think he fits the description regardless of which translation you use
What if marked by flame means like a stamp !!!
ace is the man marked by flames (2 literal meanings)
imagine blackbeard is the man marked by flames and has a scar we havent seen yet that was dealt by ace
that would be super crazy
I'm saying he fits the description of "Man marked by flame" because this scar (we agree it is a scar) looks like flame
but i doubt it
I agree its a scar, I don't agree it looks like a flame
Ohh
i am 100% on board with it being dragon over scopper rn
Yeah ig I can see it but I think it'd be really funny if a dude was known as "burn scar" bc of a scar that covers like 2% of his face
i also think its possible its saul bc of the scar but mainly i think bc this page
law is a pretty smart guy and doesnt slack on research so he probably has some general knowledge about saul and robins relationship with him
and doesnt wanna say anything
and robins reaction being the adjacent panel
could be foreshadowing idk
but i still mostly believe its dragon
for now
Thats why "marked by flame" fits way better
imo
i think this dialog is basically telling readers it could be anyone with a scar similar to flame or burns
just not the recent ones
this convo was like a year ago so they prob has more info now
The poneglyph in question was the road poneglyph from fishman island
Scopper knew it was there
We have all these Red Herrings from the Pirates who’ve only heard Rumors of this Man.
Yet now we get now finally get the Roger Pirate in the Third Step to become Pirate King. Coincidentally with a Burn Scar, who is asking Luffy to prove himself in this Battle with Loki, and then come return to him?
When Shanks tells Gaban this, it is because Shanks used the Hat to Signify his Trust in Luffy.
Luffy not realizing that this hat belonged to Roger, doesn’t understand that it was given to Shanks as a way to show Roger’s Faith in Shanks, as the one who would Prepare the King for the Next Generation.
Now Gaban wanting to see firsthand that Shanks was right to Trust him, He Challnges Luffy only to not get much of a Fight, as hes being “respectful” to the fact that Gabans an Old Man, and didn’t want to go All Out.
Which Signals to Scopper that this Man Shanks prepared as a Child, had the makings to be a Great Pirate, as he doesn’t have the need to go All Out on someone who isn’t truly a Threat to Him.
Truly bringing the Lesson that Shanks taught Luffy all the way in Chapter 1 Full Circle to this Very Moment
I fully expect Luffy to Mimic this Panel infront of Gaban, somewhere Right before the Moment of Scopper giving Luffy the Poneglyph.
This Phrasing been being remarked as “Unique” because the Scar or Burn is Shaped Like Fire, Not solely caused By it.
And Scopper Gaban is the only man of the Possible Burn Scar contenders of Kuzan and Saul, whose Scar visibly represents a Burning Flame
Both of them having the real consequences of being Burned, having Patches of Skin left scarred as a result.
While Scopper holds a Scar Shaped like a Flame, a Highly unlikely result of being Scarred by a wild burning Flame like the Scars on Saul and Kuzan
Or burn scar man isnt part of the visible contenders
As someone who learnt the Truth of the World, Roger specifically placed Crocus, Rayleigh, Gaban, and Shanks at each Vital moment when it came to completing the Four steps for Pirate King.
Having Gaban be the one to Gatekeep the Poneglyph, allows for the Roger Pirates to have the Final Say in who will reach Laughtale.
Fighting Shanks acting as the Final Challenge to Luffy for the Title of King.
These 4 Panels shows the Four stationed Roger Pirates responses to Vegapunks Broadcast,
With 3 of these 4 Drinking besides the Doctor, where he last shared a drink with his “Best Friend Gaban” Back on chapter 631, With Chapter 1124s name being a Callback to 631. “Best Friends”
As well Chapter 982 titled “Scoundrel meets Scoundrel”.
Both of which having the Double Meaning of Representing Gaban’s and Crocus’ Relationship on the Coverstory, with them even sharing a Final Drink as Crewmates together.
We can also use Gaban protecting Roger and a Doctor at the top of a Mountain as another connection between Gaban and Crocus as the Doctor.
So lots of people used to theorize the source of imu’s power, and I think the reveal during this chapter is hinting towards it.
The issue with imus power is that it’s nothing like we have ever seen before and seemingly and endless source of power (gorosei regeneration, teleportation anywhere)
What I’m thinking is that this source of power is the abyss, but I’m sure lots of people have already thought of that. What I want to pay attention to is the mention of the abyss in the mural, which is mentioned in the second world. At first it was a bit ambiguous, but the key thing here is that it’s mentioned right after the world was shrouded in darkness. What this chapter has shown us is a clear link between the term “abyss” and this darkness as well.
But where did this source of endless power come from? It’s a bit of a reach but what if it was originally the eternal flame itself. My guess is that it was “corrupted” with darkness by imu (shrouded the world in darkness, maybe they are tapping into the first world which is a separate dimension), this made it so that it wasn’t usable in the original way but gave Imu endless power. What’s really interesting is that every time we have seen someone teleport we do not only see black lightning and darkness, but some flame as well, harkening back to the original power source.
Side tangent: given this link between the darkness and the abyss, what if blackbeards devil fruit is somehow able to tap into this? After all we see him suck shit up like it’s a separate dimension or something https://media.discordapp.net/attachments/738580480437387264/1342757071841660931/image0.jpg?ex=67bacb79&is=67b979f9&hm=38027b5d8fa20625f86123070c58ca727e348d26656ee01aff05911f97512e91&
this makes me think Zehahahah will come and steal imu's powers somehow
we are talking about a dark abyss afterall
who else has powers of darkness and has a "dark dimension"
plus if BB knows about Xebec
he might be aiming for imu's spot
cementing BB as the final villain
which makes sense thematically
but the point you made about the devil fruit tapping into this power is interesting
is that why BB went after this DF, maybe he will somehow "take over" or push aside imu this way and be again the final villain
like I can totally see imu being weakened in battle and BB coming in his oppurtunistic fashion and taking imu's place
and everyone has to struggle to keep up in the major alliance because they're already tired fighitng imu and the rest
Then BB kills Shanks
I just thought of something random
let's say law takes out a heart with his devil fruit, then BB stores it in the dark dimension or whatever
can law "take" it back
I'd assume not cause I doubt he can reverse it in distance, most likely all the "parts" have to be in the "room"
so in that notion, if law is successful in taking BB's heart out, BB can just "store it" to protect himself
tho I imagine haki alone is enough to protect BB from law doing that
unless law catches him off guard or something
makes sense, so gyaban will give the poneglyph to luffy at the end of the arc, seems like holy knights are the antagonists, I suspect next island will be lodestar ("road star") and the clash of 4 yonkous
is it gaban or gyaban im confused
Probably Gaban
I think properly it's "gyaban" because rodo calls him "ya-san" and it wouldn't make sense without the "ya" part in his name
I'll still call him gaban though because I'm used to it
Ya-San probably refers to his title "Mountain Eater" which is "Yamagurai" in japanese
Is the mountain his giant wife

Yes.
Gaban is English name, Gyaban is Japanese name
Zolo
...
Iv been rewatching one piece recently and one thing I noticed is when luffy punches blackbeard in impel down its almost like blackbeard switched personality with his pupils disappearing and a new persona taking over. Luffy punches him in the stomach but teach holds his head and face an twitches like "blackbeard" has taken over the body.
If you get punched in the stomach u don't push ur belly forward as that's the opposite of what u do if you have pain in that area.
PLEASE READ THE DESCRIPTION & Also Try this for "Better Quality" :
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V8beFQ39O6c&fmt=22
I loved seeing luffy's moments at "Impel Down" and I wanted to share one of my most favorite parts of Luffy's moments. This short scene is from "One Piece Episode 447"
This scene if where Luffy goes Berserk over knowing that the ...
Even in the thumbnail look at his eyes 😆
Although this doesn't really help theories around blackbeard I feel like it does highlight that he has multiple personalities/souls however you wanna look at it
Personally I believe we will see Lodestar as the Arc right after Elbaph. he Arc ends with us receiving the Last Poneglyph, finally Declaring our Journey to Laughtale as almost complete.
This will be the Point in which we will break off to the Other Factions as they Begin to each make their Moves.
Due a Streak of Luck leaving Shanks now having 3 Poneglyphs from Gaban and Kidd, he is now on his way to the Land of the Minks Zou for the Last Poneglyph. Next making a B Line for Marco, King, and Katakuri, as they all have a Potential Grudge against Blackbeard, even All Three believing Luffy to be the Future Pirate King.
This gives Shanks 4 YC1 Commanders in his war Against Blackbeard.
A Streak of Luck will also follow Buggy, beginning his Journey for the One Piece. Heading to the Poneglyph in Wano where he will run into Mononoke, Bepo and Law, who he will Recruit as his into Poneglyph reader and Doctor in Crossguild. Where he will next head to Zou, as Bepo would be able to Guide them towards the Moving Zunesha.
Here Buggy will run into Shanks who will tell him of their “Dead” Father Gaban having the Final Poneglyph on Elbaph, now allowing Buggy, Shanks, and Luffy to all arrive on Laughtale.
Piecing it all together,
Shanks will be waiting on Laughtale as the Last Test for Luffy as the final Step before Pirate King, as Crocus Rayleigh and Gaban each acted as before.
Next CrossGuild and the Strawhats will have a Davy Back Fight over Luffy, who Having the Nika fruit holds the Power to Unlock the One Piece. Now giving Zoro the opportunity to Fight Mihawk for their Captain back, becoming WSS.
Now with the Strawhats entering Laughtale, we finally see the Entire Red Hair Crew and Former YC1’s, all watching this Final Clash between their Captain Shanks, and the very Kid who they sent out on this Journey Luffy.
As they watch the Final Battle for who will be the Pirate King.
I Strongly believe Doflamingo will join Blackbeard in opposition to Law.
Doffy will be freed by Blackbeard as another Wildcard from Level 6, who won’t have to follow any of the Rules.
He will be told Teaches bloodline allowing him to Fully Believe that Teach could Rule the World, giving them knowledge on the 3rd Ancient Weapon.
Scopper is a high up candidate to be the man with the burn scar. We need to see a black ship that he rides on to confirm though.
Also as for some more Details on why Doflamingo would join Blackbeard, it is given to us Right Here that those in Impel Down follow teach because of his Special Blood
Giving Doffy the Perfect Reason to get out of Impel Down, and serve under a New Master of Chaos
Doflamingo only sees Celestial Dragon blood as special or important, he flew into a rage when Law revealed he was a D
Which is Exactly why Teach being the Man among the D that holds the Special Bloodline makes Perfect Sense.
He is shown Right here as the only one with a Curious Smile on his face, coincidentally after his Special Bloodline is revealed
This would even further prove Magellans ignorance, as he is the one Letting Doflamingo listen to this Broadcast, even making Doflamingo let Magellan know they could always go Higher Up.
And who is the Only Man looking to Rule the World as a contender for the One Piece?
Marshall D Teach, the man with the D, the Special Bloodline that we see brought up during the Broadcast.
Giving Teach the perfect Opportunity to Explain to Doffy his Bloodline, as well as Doffy giving teach Uranus information.
Also if Doffy does join Blackbeard, it could be the Perfect Setup towards Law joining Buggy
I wasn’t agreeing with you
I know lol
As well as make Law hold an even Bigger Grudge against Blackbeard as he is the one who Took him Out
Just giving you my reasoning on how it All Fits together 🙏
Better yet
Having this be the Main Premise of this Panel be about the One among the D, with both Blackbeard and Bepo shown side by side.
It could allude to Law knowing of Teaches Importance, as well as acting in a Way that would make Bepo freak out over his captains reaction
Even more evidence for this is Both Teach and Doflamingo being the ones to Understand how Devil Fruit reincarnation work,
as Blackbeard got Whitebeards fruit
and Doflamingo got Aces fruit
This would make them the Perfect Tag team for gaining even Stronger Devilfruits, maybe even having Blackbeard teach Doflamingo how to eat 2 Fruits as well?
Nah Nvm I don’t like Doffy also having 2 fruits it takes away the Importance of Teach.
People have been saying Both Buggy and Crocildile have the strongest devil fruits but I disagee the only Reason crocidile seemed so powerful was because he was in a desert enviorment ...and while Buggy is protected from slicing attacks he is vunarbel to blunt force damage and possible piercing attacks.
Buggy being immune to Slicing attacks give him the Perfect Reasoning to Recruit Law into Crossguild. As Buggy’s Devilfruit would make him the Ultimate Counter to Laws Room.
Him being the Doctor to keep Buggy from getting Sick by the Laughtale Disease.
Law also Sees Buggy being Worthy of Emporer already by “Commanding” Mihawk and Crocodile.
Giving Law an amazing first impression of Buggy if he does pull up to Wano, where both Law and Bepo could be right now.
This could tie Right back into the fact that Law knows something of the Burn Scar “Scopper Gaban”
So when Buggy eventually arrives at Elbaph to meet one of his Dads, it could be Revealed to us what the Connection between Law and Gaban is.
And to be Honest, if Luffy is reminded of the Fact they need the Last Poneglyph,
I could see him putting the pieces of Gaban having a Burn shaped Scar on his head together, a Hilarious way for Luffy to assume the obvious like he did with Mystoms at the end of WCI.
Could be a hilarious way to joke with All the Fans who put this together before it’s Revealed, the same way he introduced the Strong World Monsters as a Red Herring for Shiki building up the Reveal of Gaban.
The fact that it’s shaped like a Traditional Flame, could be the biggest indicator that Luffy’s gonna learn it out before we do,
as he can only put 2 and 2 together if he’s either being Dead Serious, or if it’s Explicitly Stated to him.
Yes but you have to remeber most of that is actually being run by Crocidile Buggy is just the figure head.
I thought about that For sure, it led me to Somewhat alter my Theory Somewhat but not Majorly.
So keep Everything that I said about The 4 Steps to Pirate king leading to the Goal of becoming King, Except we take the Goal and count it as a Step as Well.
This leaves 5 Roger Pirates at Each Step of the Proccess.
Whereas I had Shanks on Laughtale as the Final and 4th step Before. We place Buggy as the Roger Pirate in the 4th Step.
While it Sounds like the Biggest joke Ever to read for the first time, when you Think about it makes Perfect Sense.
This Panel is going to become Very Important during the Journey to Collect the Poneglyphs that Buggy will go on.
As we see Shanks refusing to become King, Buggy is left Disappointed, even Losing his Dreams.
Now that we have Shanks actively “wanting”to be King after Luffy revealed Gear 5, I believe that he will Tell Buggy they must follow the same path, as the Last Tests to Luffy before he can become the King.
What he will tell Buggy, is what Roger told Himself. That they are Not become king, as neither of them are the One Destined to be the Masters of both Haki and Devilfruit. This Title only falling to the Eater of the Nika fruit with the right Dream and Will.
This ties into Buggy’s Backstory, with Roger offering them the Fruit as a Joke to the Crew, knowing full well that they wouldn’t Eat it.
This is where the Parallels between Buggy and Luffy become increasingly important.
Buggy eats the Chop Chop Fruit in the Opposite of Luffy eating the “Rubber” Fruit, Both of them Eating the Devil Fruits while listening to Shanks talking about Something Important, both even Falling into the Ocean to be Rescued by Shanks after to this Fact.
However while Buggy’s Situation was a Complete accident on Shanks’ part, Luffy’s was setup in a way that seems 100% intentional
Off the Basis that Shanks was told he couldn’t become King here.
I’d like to believe that Roger choosing Shanks over Buggy in this moment is based off what Roger learned on Laughtale, and that the Next Nika is the one who will become the Real King.
This Instantly erases Buggy from the equation of becoming Pirate King entirely, as he would have Already Eaten the fruit because of Shanks.
Maybe Roger’s original Plan was for them to Rule Together, as both being his Children of course he would want only the Best for them.
Now i’m getting into Territories that are more Tinfoil theory than Concrete Theory, and i’ll wrap it around to my Main point entirely I got completely side tracked,
But if Roger’s OG plan after Dying was letting Shanks and Buggy be King, and he Learned that only the Nika User with the Strongest Haki can become King,
His plan was unintentionally ruined by Shanks. Now not telling him outright, Shanks is probably one of the Smartest Characters.
Piecing together Roger’s Plan for Him and Buggy, he is Destroyed that not only can He not become king, but Neither can his Brother.
I’d like to add that Shanks and Buggy represent Both Sides of Roger’s personality, this being why he would want them Both to be King.
With Buggy being the one we’re Used to seeing as this Funny Crazy dude who wants to be a True Pirate and become King.
Shanks is the Cold and Calculating side. Always Planning ahead and Shrouded in Mystery, things that we’ve only really Heard about Roger, and not seen like his “Buggy” side.
This leaves Luffy to eat his fruit in the Silly way that Buggy did, this time by Shanks on Purpose as Now he Understands exactly what he needs to do for their to be King.
At the time we would never be able to make this Connection due to Roger’s identity being Secret,
But now that we know everything we currently do, Placing pieces in empty positions becomes a Lot Easier than
I been doin this for so long im So Cooked 🤣 Lemme sit on this for a Bit cause im spiraling Off
but Tldr Shanks is gonna tell Buggy on Zou that Luffy’s gonna be the True King and that while he’s not Important to Roger Plan, he may still reach Laughtale becoming one of the Most Famous rivals to the Pirate King like his dad Rocks 😂
Sounds silly OFC but feels Oda to me in a way
The shiki misdirect in elbaf was intentional, shiki was actually there and saved kidd before departing.
Shiki and kidd have similar personalities, relationships with the people near them and most above all similar abilities.
Shiki is someone that has already reflected on the past and seen where he went wrong and how to change,
kidd just potentially got killer killed. It'd be a nice training arc for kidd as well as character growth.
^ This is why jinbei and the sharks network could find nothing AT ALL underwater, shiki fished everything out with his devilfruit.
The shanks left arm theory is pretty interesting. Shanks wanting to get his arm ripped off because he had one of those demon marks on his arm does kinda make sense
I kind of like that as a retcon
Loki will be in team Luffi?
I don't think haki plays a role in the main theme of the story. This was mostly a later edition to the story to drag it out for 20 years longer
This why shanks lost his arm, haki didn't exist within the story at that point. I don't think there's any deeper of a Conspiracy into it other than oda had originally intended it to be a 5 year story
Haki is just a mechanism that allowed the story to evolve over 25 years
I do feel like the fishman arc will be in some way a parallel to straw hats vs blackbeard pirates. Even the crew members are similar. One piece does like to repeat itself in different ways.
One of my earliest theories was blackbeard was a fishman. Dunno why, i always felt like his artwork was similar to that of a fishman in the early days. Not so much now but its always something I keep in mind as a potential
Either that or a buccaneer like kuna. But that's only cause of his body shape, small legs big upper body
Kuma**
Iv been rewatching one piece in English dub which iv never really done before. Garp threatening to murder akainu was alot more graphic in the English dub 🤣
Blackbeard could be a Dosundada/Another Tribe
RogersBase just talked about this. I like this theory:
Im Not Sure, Probably Not Since He Is Going To Destroy Elbaph If Luffy Does Free Loki. A Fight May Occur.
Great Theory!
I think Imu got Roger sick with that disease. Like i’d be shocked if Imu didn’t have a part in God Valley due to the fact it had some of the most powerful pirates that had the potential to destroy the WG, so Imu would want to end that immediately before another possible Joyboy scenario happen. After the God Valley incident, Roger now wanted to know the mysteries of the world instead of being a pirate just doing pirate shit, i think he saw Imu which changed everything for him and now he wanted to learn the history of it all and the fact Imu never went after him again is because they knew Roger wouldn’t last much longer to be able to do anything, but Roger did do something which was impact the whole pirate world to find the one piece and stop Imu
this wouldn’t work because that mural was made thousands of years ago and the final ponelglyph was from Fishman Island but was moved post like Roger’s execution
unless it’s a prophecy that the ponelglyph would’ve been moved to elbaf?
huh...
I’m pretty sure that St. Sommers is going to have a thorn related paramecia
Every other current God’s knight we’ve seen has a fruit in some way, and Sommers has thorns on his sword, as well as having a rose on his uniform
Shamrock doesn't have a df
His sword does
True but only zoan fruits can be turned into weapons
I was thinking he could have the fruit himself like Gunko
I don't get why feeding zoans to objects wasn't explained in egghead
I know oda will eventually explain probably
but egghead seemed like the perfect time
unless he's saving it for god's knights
since shamrock has one
tbh it's probably something silly like moving essence through a tube or something
and it only works with zoans because of the will thing
I agree idk why oda didn't explain it in egghead. Should have had vegapunk have like a little zoan infused object companion and then it would be the perfect opportunity to explain how that works
In all honesty though I think any reason oda would give would just be a meme or throwaway explanation. I think he just wanted to draw weapons that could turn into animals in his story because its cool
tbh
vegapunk is still around so we might still get that
ya true
Ive always assumed objects can "eat" devil fruits by having them infused into them. So like imagine boiling water except you distill the devil fruit and infuse it into the object like a chemist set.
We saw that devil fruits can be cut up and eaten without breaking or being killed or anything
from kaku and khalifa
so as long as the essence of the devil fruit is alteast nearby or still "together" it acts like a whole devil fruit and whatever "eats" it gets the powers.
I assume for metal objects like swords they would infuse it during the smithing process
that's how I imagined it too
Theory on Chopper's dream:
Ok we all know Chopper's dream is to cure an incurable disease, and I once saw a theory elsewhere that says that Luffy is going to get whatever Roger got by the end of his life and chopper will cure that. I think this is an interesting idea, but I have a bit of an interesting spin on it. It's common knowledge that a lot of luffy's moves (specifically the gears) shorten his life span. Bleuno hinted at this with gear 2 in ennies lobby, and we see luffy turn into an old man after using gear 5. A shorted lifespan is essentially an incurable disease, the body deteriorates and stops being able to perform at the same level. So how could Chopper cure this? well I think he has already made the cure - in fact it's been in the story since drum island: the rumble ball. Luffy is a zoan type, and so a rumble ball would theoretically have some sort of effect on him. We've already seen with Bepo that Chopper can change the rumble ball to suit the anatomy of others. So what if the rumble ball, changed to be used by Luffy, is actually the thing that gives him the longevity to survive. If we compare Luffy's gears to Chopper's rumble points, they have their similarities, so I really don't think it's farfetched to say that the rumble ball could be the cure to luffy's "incurable disease" caused by overworking his body with the gears
luffy rumble ball is an amazing idea
but my guess if it can do anything aside from buff damage/negate side effect
it won't reverse
already shortened lifespan
from the past
also my theory on luffy's future disease is gout
because he eats a lot of meat
btw not only because he eats a lot of meat but also because it's called disease of kings
I have a theory that Saint Sommers probably has eaten the thorn thorn fruit,
why is that
Well the rose on his chest and his sword with thorns on it
I mean the 3 god knights we've met have devil fruits so Sommers might have one too
I can imagine his sword ain't a sword but a spiky whip
well his sword could have the DF
the advantage of weapons having DF is that you have power without drowning
altho I dunno how far you "control" them
I also imagine the thorns shooting spikes
To be honest it was the youtuber Ohara who came up with this theory
kidd x shiki training arc, kidd > luffy when he returns no CAPPP
I can’t believe I’ve never thought about this. Never heard it either.
Did Roger start the great pirate age so that more people would have homes that float?!?
As far as I've heard other people theorize, and especially after Stella's transmission to the world, that seems to be correct, at least partially
Maybe this person is shirahoshi and she is talking about what happened in reverie
