It makes sense because everything luffy has talked to has been from the past
like Zunesha
it could also mean both prolly
it says recall the promised day AND hear the voice so yah prolly both
that is why there is smoke stacks, this is a machine.
ik my boy Coby was a D š holy W
hey if Franky has the pluton blueprints and there is a pluton beneath wano, its likely we will se 2 plutons existing simultaneously?
this is pretty late i guess, this is wano age theory
the sun will return? Two piece confirmed? New fruits confirmed?
but now that franky is seeing the mural, and he is right next to infinite Adam wood... i think its possible the crew will leave elbaph WITH franky's pluton
Maybe franky realises the time is now
how long did it take him to make their current ship?
okay, so something as big as pluton might be a month?
Obv Pluton is likely way more complex than thousand sunny but, Franky is better than before, and HE GOT VEGAPUNK
yeah, I think they could do it in a month, especially with giant help. But I dont see luffy wanting to wait that long.
Theyre would build it sooner than a month. Or idk. Franky stays behind building it
I see BB having Pluton from Wano, Imu with his sky laser, and straw hats with poseidon.
Franky will come in handy in the eventually BB fight, since he will know enough about Pluton on know how to cripple it.
Franky destroyed the blueprints in enies lobby
He destroyed them because he remembers them after he read them
He didnt want to risk it getting into world government hands
No, he destroyed them because he trusted Robin not to give the WG the location of Pluton
For all we know Franky could stay behind with Vegapunk
Same with Robin
Probably no safer place than Elbaph, provided they don't turn out to be crazy with Louis Arnot's warning
Goddamit youre right
There is no evidence he remembers the blueprints
That doesnāt mean he doesnāt. Franky is a tech junkie. Just look at how he acted in Vegapunkās old lab.
Could be that the Sunny is secretly Pluton already
We just donāt have any proof of anything
i think its implied tbh, it would be a chekovs gun if he didnt do anything with the knowledge
It wouldn't* be a chekovs gun, yea
Chekovās gun is that it must be used.
Kind of boring storytelling imo, no offense. Just because it exists, it must be used, negates the moral dilemma of its use.
Sometimes the best story is that the gun doesnāt go off, even though it should
You can use a chekovās gun as a red herring
Chekhov's Gun is a narrative principle where an element introduced into a story first seems unimportant but will later take on great significance. The principle postulates that any seemingly unimportant element introduced into a storyāan object, a character trait, a backstory, an allergyāshould later have relevance
I really did think he officially remembered them so... I guess, all I've said applies but just to some sort of upgrade
im saying the fact that hes one of the only people inthe world to see the blueprints should become relevant at some point later in the story
Except, hell or high water, he chose faith in Robin.
Making it relevant later, negates the impact of his sacrifice.
this doesnt even make sense
Yes it does
Thanks for keeping it real @loud arch
Itās kinda how the villagers in the anime make the sacrifice to let Nami fight for them, but once sheās betrayed, they decide to fight to the death.
The same thing happens in the live action, but the villagers never knew that Nami was fighting for them.
One is a better story than the other, because they put their faith in her.
It just cheapens his actions of destroying the blueprints. He might as well be saying in his head: āhaha, what do I care. Iāve already memorized themā
Which means he didnāt ACTUALLY have faith in Robin at all. Less moving. Worse story.
How so?? lol
that lil ship donāt have the power of an ancient weapon
but i do think it will become the new pluton by the end of elbaf
Over the centuries it's destructive capabilities have been exagerated
Could āthose of the half moon dreamedā be the will of D/ D clan?
maybe but itās still too small to hold power like that
Thats the common assumption I've seen
Someone must have gone to the past with time jump fruit since Toki died, so the new fruit is born. So that explains the drawing of the future
Here I thought I was big brain
Just because you weren't the first person to think of an idea doesn't mean its small brain
I thought that fruit could only jump forward
Itās like that one story āPeter and the Magic Threadā once he pulls string out it wonāt go back in and soon his life go by
"The first world"
The earth is burning
A human gives in to desire
[The human] touches the forbidden sun
The slave wishes [TN: The word used for "slave" is a bit strange, in my experience. Usually, the word å„“é· (dorei) is used for slaves in One Piece and in the real world as well.]
The "Sun God" appears
The god of the earth is angry
Together with the snake of hellfire [TN: ę„ is a Buddhist term that essentially means "karma"]
[The god] wraps the world in death and darkness
They will never meet again.
The entire world is in chaos due the the greed of the 20 allied nations of the world government. They attempt to take advantage of the power of the sun (mother flame?). The enslaved prayed for the Nika to appear and Nika hears their prayers. The god of earth (unknown entity so far) with is fury punishes the world by using the giant serpent of hellfire to erect the red line (using his earth powers). The world is divided into two and Nika is defeated
"The second world"
There is life in nothingness [TN: or "There is breath in the void" etc., čē” means "nihilism"]
The god of the forest sends out demons
The sun is only fanning
the flames of war [TN: Technically, the "flames of war" is in the above sentence and the "only fanning" is here]
The people of the half-moon dream
The people of the moon dream
The human becomes the sun-killing god [TN: or "The human kills the sun and becomes god"]
The god of the sea rages
They will never meet again.
Life is without meaning, the Forest God prepares for a war (stance is unknown so far). Imu uses the power of the sun (mother flame?) to create war and destroy the ancient kingdom. The half-moon people (Joyboy's crew, the D clan) together with the full moon people (the lunarians living atop the red line) had the shared desire to take down Imu and the allied nations to bring world peace. However the allied nations killed joyboy, his crew(and later hunted down every last lunarian since they most likely were a main lingering threat) and were victorious and declared themselves gods (celestial dragons). Due to the use of ancient weapons the sea rises which enrages the Sea God.
"The third world"
There is void in chaos [TN: Different word for "void" is used here, ē©ŗē½ means "blank", same as in "Void Century" (空ē½ć®100幓)]
Unforgivable remnants are [TN: "Unforgivable" as in "inexcusable" or "misbehaving"]
Remembering the promised day [TN: Again, probably connected to the above sentence]
Listening to the voice of the fragmented crescent moon [TN: ēćć literally means "fragmented", it describes a moon with a surface shadow of half or more, so a crescent or waxing/waning moon]
The "Sun God" dances and laughs
Bringing the world to an end
The sun returns
A new dawn rises
They will surely meet again.
Unfairness and suffering is all over the world however it's greatly overlooked. The unforgivable people are the D clan and those who believed in them, supposedly waiting for the day the Sun God is reborn. The voice of a crescent moon desires a new beginning. The Sun God returns, liberating the world by taking it down. The red line is destroyed and the world has returned to its original form. The planets rotate around the sun once again (each of the 5 gorosei and the 3 ancient weapons represent a planet other than earth and before they were rotating around earth (Imu, pangea castle) but now they are back to rotating around the sun). A new dawn represents a new start for the world. At long last, Nika is victorious
Toki canāt control it
If there was actually a āsun godā, different from the Nika DF and the celestial dragons killed it, maybe thatās why the Sunlight Tree Eve glows.
ALSO, we took it in stride that the name of the tree is Eve because of Adam & Eve, but what if it was named Eve because it represents the End of the Sun.
Toki, was only focus on running. There is no reason time time devil fruit =/= canāt go back in time. She was just lack of training for it
Nah, specifically mentioned by the 9 to only go forward
Just lack of understanding, that type of power is hard to train for its effect after all
It's not confirmed that she can go back in time. Anything more is speculation (which is fine) but let's not make the mistake of saying it's confirmed she can
Guys hear me out
The Strawhat is the Key to enter to the Ancient City (Laughtale)
https://www.reddit.com/r/OnePiece/comments/pqa53e/the_mysterious_cities_of_gold_an_inspiration_to/
idk why this serie from 1982 is so underrated but its 1:1 like the Story from One Piece
Its rly worth it to read if you wanna know what will happen next in One Piece
voice of all things
What if Oda's 30+ year story, especially with its ending, is intended to somehow "inspire" and "move" people around the world, similar to Hiriluk's cherry blossom cure?
I mean it gotta have a deep meaning, almost as if to provide a solution to attain a true joy in life, that would move people when read. What other manga even attempted to have a deep inspirational ending to the readers?
ryunosuke is the one piece. It has to be true
Theory to clarify who is who on the mural. I think starting from right to left the 5 dark figures are the Earth god(the giant serpent), Human king Imu(Imu looking mf) before killing the Sun god and becoming the Sea god, Forest god(The dragon in the middle), the Sun god(Luffy), and the Sea god Imu all the way to the left. This kinda assumes Artur is right about Imu being the sea god and I'm not entirly convinced of that so I'm just looking for anyone's thoughts.
I like this. Especially because itās explaining why roger and the crew laughed , when they were at the one piece. because shanks already had the hat and they couldnāt āenterā

Deep in the planet, is a substance that can make dense clouds that are tough but defy the laws of the world and float, it makes sea stone that as tough as diamonds, and it also likely is what the red line is made of.....The Air, the Sea and the Earth all have areas made up of the same material.
And devil fruit users are defeated by it
Since Garling became the new Gorosei replacing Saturn its very likely that hes now to get Immortality and a Yokai Devil Fruit and will likely be fenrir. With his hair being shaped like a moon it could reference to fenrir because Saturn has a moon called fenrir. This could symbolise Fenrir. Now Fenrir has two sons: Hati and Skƶll. Now that we know that shamrock is the twin brother of shanks, we can say that one Brother chases the sun (Shanks being Skƶll and thus aiming for the sun god) and the other the moon (Shamrock being Hati and aiming for Imu as he could control water levels like the moon).
**First Age - 'The Birth of Haki' **
⦠Pyrobloin - Comes from deep within the earth. It is what connects all things on this planet, even if it is to a very small degree.
⦠Sea Clouds, Sea Stone, Red Wall and Poneglyph are all likely made from it. It is extremely durable in concentrated form. It can have unique properties such as cause things to defy gravity, which is why Reverse Mountain and the sky clouds work the way they do.
⦠Volcanos emit it in some concentrations, however it can be found in varying concentrations nearly everywhere, including the sea.
⦠People, animals, plants and objects in the world likely all have at least a very small quantity of it. The sea, the giver of all life, distributes it.
⦠Within the earth is the heart of this element, a harmony of energy, the yin and the yang.
⦠To get the purest form, which has immense power, it has to be mined deep into the planet. It is dangerous and many die. A deadly and nearly hopeless task.
⦠However, there are those that do not weaken, but grow strong through their labors. The very element they are mining is infused in them, allowing them to work harder, stronger. They can cover their bodies in a force able to break the very stones of the earth. They have grown to see dangers of their environment before it happens.
⦠There is one born who seems as if the wills of the slaves gave birth too. One can even hear the stones speak of the way of all things. One to unite the slaves and free them. One who is made up of flesh as much as he is made up of the star. A god of the star from within the earth.
⦠The great mines and the ancient users were all from what we call today the New World. It is why the Red line formed. Why those in Paradise have very few haki users. The people of Wano, who live above the volcano, know how to work Pyrobloin, but also how they developed strong Ryuo while isolated. Where there is great amounts of Pyrobloin, there will be haki users who eventually tap into the way of all things.
Really enjoyed this! Nicely done
I'm kind of coming around to Dawn Dusk's notion that Pyrobloin is related to giants or at least gigantification
its definitely possible. It is why there are giant sea creatures and giants that are highest concentrations in the new world. Also why the calm belt exists, so the sea kings (gods) can keep the devil fruits from spreading (95% of the time, the devil fruits reappear in the grand line.)
Sadly i gott go to bed so i couldnt read yall messages yet, but here a message i sent in another discord
Do u know ,,the mysterious cities of goldā and ,,future boy conanā ?
These 2 are some of Odaās favorite manga
A TON of stuff is basically straight up copied into one piece
I dont have a text prepared yet, but basically if you look at the story of these 2 shows, it more or less explains the first world in one piece
Some points that future boy conan goes into that are also in one piece poleshifting, earthquakes, landmass moving, flooding of continents created by sci fi weapons
And same for mysterious cities of gold advanced cities of lost civilization including high tech machinery, cities being hidden inside/under earth
This is important, specially looking at the official translation of the first world: Within the earth there was fire.
Mankind succumbed to greed and touched the forbidden sun.
The enslaved prayed, and the sun god appeared.
The earth god raged, and with its serpent of hellfire,
shrouded the world in death and darkness.
And they will never meet.
I want you to focus on the first couple of sentences,
Within the earth was a fire, means inside earth is like in the real world, coal, uranium and other things which can be used as energy, basically the mother flame
But someone had to do the dirty work so some ppl were enslaved
Then either all this mining caused earth plates to shift, vulcanoes, earth rotating⦠OR the ancient weapons created and used with the fire/mother flame, did it
Adding to this, we know from old one piece chapters, that the ancestors of moon folk(lunarian, shandorians, birkans) moved from moon to earth cause they used all resources on the moon, these are highly advanced civilizations, as visible on the moon coverstory, as it looks like the ancient weapond werent even created on earth, but brought from the moon, we see it in the coverstories.
haki users use the power of the nature of earth, just like the sea stones, why they can hurt devil fruit users
Yeah, I'm definitely thinking redline, poleshift, whatever ecological disaster was caused by overmining and ancient weapon war
It's also important to note that the only fish fruit we've seen has been Kaidos, which is a mythical one that flies. Might explain the lack of them if 4 natural elements/gods are at play, because why create a fish devil fruit if devil fruit users have been cursed by the sea?
haha no more Blackbeard Cerberus theories I just realized yay
So was Nika just a concept invented by slaves who dreamed of freedom?
and did those dreams become the Nika fruit?
and does that make Joyboy the first real Nika?
omg yeah people used to talk so weird about fruits in East Blue, maybe there was something to those myths lol
I think that might be the case. There might have been a nika, but he wasn't a god, just a powerful hero of the slaves. His memory endured.
Somehow, the devil fruits brought dreams into being, and even the legend of Nika was one of them.
most gods we've heard have have ben false in one piece besides Nika if I'm remembering right lol
also Nika is debatably real ig lol
even the Nika fruit is still....just a devil fruit. Luffy is powerful with it, more than most devil fruit users, but its still a limited power.
Devil fruits arguably are still the connected with the unnatural imbalance in the world, and the keeping true evil alive.
Its a deal with a devil, even if using it for good.
@raw scarab what is pyrobloin?
the element from within the earth and is found in various concentrations. In highly concentrated form it is immune to devil fruits and steals their powers. Like sea stones and sea clouds (those clouds with cities on them.)
It is extremely durable, and can bend the laws of physics.
ah i see, is this a theory you came up with or is it said somewhere in the manga?
the part I just said is from the manga, the additional things are what I came up with, and inspired by the mural.
ah mkay, thanks
But things start making sense. Those of the natural and the earth have the element from within the earth. The devil fruits do not, so they are weak to it. Haki, Red Line, Polygraphs, Sea stones...they are all forms of the same thing.
where is this from?
so at different concentrations they have different properties?
yes, and mixed with different elements.
The sea clouds for example are incredibly dense, but also lighter than air. You can slice it like wood.
Sea stones are like diamonds, and devil fruits are defenseless against them. But extremely powerful haki users can alter its energy and shatter it with their force.
because its a binding material for the fantastical things on the planet, they use sea stone on the bottom of ships. The sea kings recognize it as just a part of the sea and the natural order (instead of humans and their artifical/demon taint.)
Luffy and BB are in a ways different aspects of the same thing. Nika fruit is a good liberator concept, but is still bound by the devil (fruit). BB is cheater and breaker of devils, a demon who had an idea of cheating a devil at his own game. While he is still bound by the devil, he can also break the pact of the other devils. It is the Will of D, but a glass half empty way of viewing it, the dark side of the moon.
They are both liberators to defy the devil, why also both being tied to the devil. Together they can break the cycle. BB is the void of the missing sun. A dark, dim view of the liberator and fighter of the devil within a dark world.
Which means there is one way for this to end.
it would seem devil fruits are enemies of the natural order, but Nika is the enemy of the gods (humans). Nika (fruit) can never defeat Imu.
Absolutely. He represents the moon with no light on it, the literal dark side of the moon
Which does track! Luffy's whole thing is that he fights when he wants and who he wants (freedom) but he doesn't fight for you unless you deliberately fight for yourself (or ask). Nami, Bonney, etc
Hey guys. Based on the theory I shared yesterday, I have developed a second part/specification of some conceptsālet me know what you think.
I hadn't considered that the concept of the "Sun God" could also be explained more simply. If the "Forbidden Sun" is the Motherflame located at the center of the Earth, then perhaps Joyboy, born a slave, came into contact with it and received immense power from it. He would be the Sun God because he gained his power from the "Sun."
This would explain why Luffy, transformed into Gear 5, was the only one able to awaken the sleeping giant at Egghead. It is, in fact, Nika's laughter that serves as the ultimate source of energy.
Did Joyboy fully absorb the Motherflame? Or did he absorb just enough of it to "make it his own" and enhance it? Could this be the true energy of the Ancient Kingdom, rather than the Motherflame itself being within the Earth?
(In my opinion, the "First World" kingdom is actually a proto-kingdom because slavery exists there. In the "Second World," the true Ancient Kingdom exists, where all peoples coexistāuntil humans elevate themselves to gods, becoming Celestial Dragons.)
Following this logic, thanks to Nika's unique power during the second era, when the text says, "he scattered the seeds of war," those seeds could actually be the Devil Fruits. Let me explain:
Vegapunk states that Devil Fruits were born from human desire, which, according to this theory, is correct. After the fall of the Ancient World (the proto-Ancient Kingdom where slavery existed), the peoples of the world, now lacking the energy of the Motherflame (since it is said that everything falls into darkness), need hope.
Joyboy spreads this hope through the Devil Fruits, granting people power based on their individual needs. He can do this because Nika is essentially a comic book character who can manipulate and shape reality as he pleasesāeven to the point of creating powers for others.
The fruits are called "seeds of war" because, unintentionally, they become the foundation of the conflict that later erupts with Im.
Similarly, when Joyboy fails to keep his promise to the Fish-Man Kingdom, the sovereign of this kingdom curses Joyboyās creation. Joyboy tries to write an apology letter on a Poneglyph, but it is not enough.
(Im could have also manipulated events, using Plutonās power (I donāt remember the exact name) to raise the sea level for personal gain, exploiting the resentment against Joyboy.)
Joyboy, who was unable to bring the Fish-Man race to the surface as he had promised.
It could still happen if Blackbeard kills the Cerberus sword
So we get the mention of sun god, earth god, forest god and sea god in the chapter.
I guess sun god is nika.
Earth god is the person that holds yami yami no mi.
Forest god is that admiral dude.
Sea god is maybe dragon or maybe sea itself.
or Poseidon
Forest god is akainu, iām 98% sure
Do you guys think that the mother flame has to do with human sacrifice?
the creation of the red line and calm belt were made from the energy of sacrificed offerings?
just thinking about the mural and three world explanation.
Maybe nefetari d lili betrayed imu to help save humans, minks, etc/humanity with the help of zunesha?
Maybe balckbeard is the final villian. there is the theory he has 3 souls and we see 3 "worlds" or wars. He could represent the culmination of the dark side or evilness of it.
The closer we get, the harder I find it to guess what's actually funny about losing š¤£
I'm starting to think Roger laughed because he learned Joyboy was the first pirate and instead of a pirate wanting to keep treasure to himself, Joyboy wanted to share the treasure with the entire world
The One Piece treasure
I feel like most theories about Roger laughing involve laughing in the face of adversity, but what if he is laughing at the juxtaposition of a pirate sharing treasure with everyone rather than keeping it all to himself like a pirate is expected to do

if the void century is limited to these 100 years, then that means that all historians in the OP world know of and have records of what happened pre-900 years ago, and it should be a pretty available knowledge to the scientists and rich people, correct?
There was likely a coordinated effort by the WG to destroy records of anything pre-void century
Only things they couldn't completely get rid of were the indestructible poneglyphs
That carried that knowledge
Unsure whether the info on the poneglyphs ONLY talk about events that happened during the void century or if some of them also contain information on things that happened before it also
probably they only have pre-VC history of their own island only, similar to how Tontattas only remember Dressrosa pre-VC
only VC history is erased, not pre-VC
The first world was likely about industrial exploitation of the earth and creation of litteral advanced device - some allowing manking to reach the stars - that ended up polluting the world and the " god of the earth " responding by creating a volcano ( reverse mountain ? ) that plunged the world in darkness.
Time passed, from the ashes remained several countries and a kingdom that survived this ordeal and kept exploiting the earth and its power like before.
This kingdom was in conflict with the other remaining lands that wanted to stop this so it would not repeat the desaster of the first world..joy boy was born during this conflict but his part is still to uncover.
The remaining countries banded against the ancient kingdom and they used some of their weapon ans it ended up with the sea water rising and the ancient kingdom destroyed to avoid that technology to ruin the world again. Imu became full of himself and decided to be a god and to rule the world with an iron first.
Its somehow the " the truth is mixed up and not what you think it is " from rayleigh
that's what I am asking - whether "first world" history is known to current day scholars, historians and leaders?
at this point the first world is more interesting to me than the second world, since the second we already knew some things and it's pretty straight forward, while the first one remains a mystery and is new to us

Ancient kingdom destroyed by Uranus
The giant hole where they were mining the fire (from the core of the earth) is none other then theĀ Tarai CurrentĀ guarded...
I just saw this theory was this talked about here?
until now the best theory I have seen about latest chapters mural
Did someone already theorized why some of the people/slaves(?) on the right side of the mural at the factory(?) have Halos above their heads?
Kashigami, the serpent from the flashbacks to ancient Jaiya of the Skypeia Arc, was considered a god that could save the Shandorians and was called upon by the beat of the drums and given a blood sacrifice to save them from the tree plague. I assume this refers to the Earth God, depicted as the world serpent, whose depths they plundered to recapture the "forbidden flame". There may have been a god-like being, but I don't think there were any true Gods in this First World. I think the Mother Flame is a Soul Collection of the planet's population and that these smaller flames were stolen souls. This soul collection was not natural however, as it was a result of technology learning to house this energy and also depicts sacrifice as the enslaved are turned into souls that can then be manufactured into weapons like the "Mother Flame". To this point I think the very first person to be called "Nika" was none other than an ancient Giant named Nika. He was called the Sun God because he was the first person to harness the "power of the sun" against the Earth God. Hence the World Tree in the Middle and why Zunesha is using it to climb out of the sea and save them from the tyranny of the "Earth God" by help of the "Sun God" who was simply the man who gave these people the power to fight back. However, we can also see Uranus and it seems to be zapping Zunesha and the Sun God, as if to signify that this is how the first Sun God was killed using the power of the Ancient Weapons. Not a True God, but a man with the will comparable to the gods themselves and who could hear the voice of all things. Idk if the Sun God was responsible for the first Devil Fruit, but it does appear that the Mother Flame power sources may have been in use long before the devil fruits were created.
not sure this has been suggested but is the Sea Gods anger the creation of the Calm Belts rather than the flooding of the world. Since the First World is mentioned with the creation of the redline so the second world having the creation of the Calm belts makes sense to me.
I agree with this because it's known if you get caught in it, the sea kings will attack you. So it's probably true
I have had a few theories, it depends if its people going down and back up. Or is it basically two elevators, one group of slaves on one side, and one group becoming angels on the other side. They also began exploring the solar system. However the non-ascended humans rebelled, using the same angel making technology to create nika. The ascended humans made lunarians and potentially even titans.
The serpent has the same tattoo on it that lunarians have along their eye, so the serpent is def. the redline, but I am curious if the fire being active is the lunarian force (which would decimate humanity.)
also I think the redline of the 1st age is fighting the conquers of the redline in the 2nd age. (celestial dragon vs lunarians.)
So what do ppl think about shamrocks sword? Is this a vegapunk invention where by a object has absorbed a devil fruit like the dog gun. Or do we think its like shanks sword where his haki is actually just shaped like the animal (shanks vs kid)
Alot of ppl thought blackbeard was gonna be cerberus, an he still could be. We know vegapunk can clone devil fruits so it could be a clone.
Shanks weapon appearing as Griffith in the anime I think isnāt in the manga , also yea it was said before items can eat devil fruits or that mythical zoans have a will of their own
Something like that
good catch. They are seeing ancient constructs generating smog.
that might work with my theory that thes are not buildings per say, but smoke stacks from an island making machine. Why there are people in boats.
This is really good and could make sense. Initially I thought Enies Lobby was a previous shot from whatever destroyed Lulusia.
Either way, there's definitely something super fishy about 3 Government Facilities being in a triangle right next to Fishman Island, Mary Geoise, The Red Line, and a giant hole in the ground where it's never night and always day
if the earth was covered in darkness, it makes sense the ancient kingdom was one of the placees that would be permanently lit. I mentioned I thought the bolt was an ancient weapon opening a hole in the redline so people could secretly travel between paradise and the new world. People who set-up shop there became fish-men over time.
although, thinking about it maybe pluton made the whole too
Thats actually a sick catch lmao
Just wondering about the eyes tho, as they are also in the manga
warning lights so you dont fly into the smoke stack
About the people in boats at this city, ppl of one piece dont know what an aircraft is, so they just draw a ship without sails
I saw am watching Arturs video right now, and he is mentioning it
I agree with some of his points right now, I keep saying the lunarians are key.
I also have to think what happens if there is no sun on the planet due to the smog
it might have taken hundreds of years to start clearing up
Sadly we know like 0 about lunarians
The only thing we know is that they used to life on redline as gods, they might as well have been the ancient kingdom
Yeah! Artur draws some weird conclusions sometimes, but he's absolutely right about ships potentially "flying" on the right of the mural
Looking at the mural saying hellfire and the redline being as humongous as it is, all the lava from that alone would absolutely cover the earth in smog and kill most life
And Lunarians are probably the most interesting and bizarre of the all the races so far. Everyone else is reasonable and has a biological base, but Lunarians generate fire like a pokemon
Just imagine how much lava and earthquake the redline caused/the redline was caused by
I play with the idea of, that the moon folk who came to earth for resources, decided to farm the eternal flames and built it into their race, so they themselfes never lack energie anymore, thus lunarians were created
Tho it makes me wondern why we still have non lunarian moon folk, skypians birkans shandorians
Just like vegapunk built seraphim, the perfect human or whatever
It is odd that Oda decided to give them functional black wings whereas the other sky folk's wings are just decorative
Gotta get up and down the red line somehow, I guess
I need to work out the details
My thoughtprocess:
moon folk go to earth for resource/mother flame
Enslave earth folk to mine it
Create redline with ancient weapons and create lunarians, the perfect race with unlimited energy
Somehow lunarians go extinct, 20 kingdom win against joyboy
20 kingdom take lunarians place on the redline
Oh yea
It might have been humans are the ones that turned some of their elite into moon folk. However they needed those who could guard and survive around the island machines (heat and smog), and those guards were lunarians (holy knights.) However, their was rebellion/war. The non-lunarian moon scattered, many fleeing to the moon. But that simply was not a long term decision.
I looked at this again and⦠am i stupid or are these 3 doods actually in the redline???
They are standing on something that looks like a serpent and is tall AND on the right side you see the ocean, but the ocean is clearly lower, as if they are on a big wall
Some people in the past thought it was pluton. I always thought it was something like tree roots.
but if it is the redline, I think that strengthens the case that sky people were humans that abandoned earth, only to then abandon the moon
the image is straight forwards enough I think, The sea bellow, skypian on clouds, and robots on the moon
Here is the thing, I think in this we see two ancient weapons. But not the third. The Pluton was a 2nd world device, based on this.
At the bottom right is that a dragon with a flying crab
(those are sea kings)
Thought the same but looking again after all these years
Why would they need a freaking balloon if they are on pluton uranus or something that flies
they probably tied the balloons to ships, this was just a way to show three tribes without all their ships.
We do know that shandorians lifed on jaya tho, so on the ground
but I think you are on to something. What if that is the red line, and we see 2 ancient weapons. They are both mentioned likely in the mural. Pluton is not really mentioned, because it was a weapon to fight the red line (one of the only things that can destroy it.)
Also theres no resources on the sky island, they travelled to earth for the resources, then they would need to land on earth itself
that is why joy boy wanted it saved. It was designed to break up the redline, but was not made in the 1st world.
the 3 ancient weapons are what are gonna be used to unify the three worlds. sky world, sun world, and underworld. They were used to seperate the worlds to make the world easier to manipulate. This story is about coming together as one unit to take down the oppressing forces focused on seperation and control.
maybe the ancient weapons can be used for good or bad depending on how their power is used?
or what kind of energy is stored inside of the ancient weapons?
I think that is true, that they are not necessarily weapons. The other thing is that each three are not creations of the same people. Each 'weapon' is just an ancient power by different entities.
So poseidon is a person, but uranus and pluton prob just the mother flame as they seem to be machines
The original nika had the voice of all things, including the power to extended his conquers haki to sea kings.
That is why the redline was formed, to minimize their power.
i think poseidon was used to create the calm belt making the sea monsters out of control
I found it funny, theres a panel where someone says that poseidon/shirahoshi is an ancient weapon and then someone disregards it and says shes NOT and ancient weapon
Maybe saying she is an ancient weapon is just so people are afraid of her lol the government did fake news
I posted something about this yesterday
Maybe youd like to read: https://www.reddit.com/r/OnePiece/s/qSR90AjqIF
we seen 2 ancient weapons in the second world. pluton and uranus
Which was pluton?
the ship under the crown figure
the arc?
actually, that looks more like Noah
Pluton is said to be made during the void century
My theory on why Poseidon is odd. \The ancient weapons are not there to fight each other, they were designed to ward off a creature that ends the world.
Pluton vs Fire Worms
Uranus vs Dragon
? vs Poseidon
so Poseidon is probably destined to end this world, but join the side of good, so no new weapon is made
This is good, I like this
Yo thats cool as shit
Theory theory no mi time.
Imu was in love with lilly,
Lilly and joy boy ran off together an disappeared to live out their life in peace.
Imu never knew if lilly had betrayed him or not, hence his anger when he saw D.
This why there's no mention of joyboys defeat or a great battle.
The end
Im pretty sure ur right lol
Just that joyboy died, lily went on to create amazon lily
I mean, that does track with what we've observed of Imu's behavior
Oda said once that he read and watched all major theories online and that not one was even close to what his plans are.
Tbf japanese ppl dont know how to use the internet
I doubt he sees lots of western theories
To be fair, he didn't give us a lot of info. Oda been stretching this out for 3 decades.
100% pluton is to destroy red line i feel. What really started the war.
I'm trying to think of why Rogers laughing in laugh tale.
Because love is freedom an he (joyboy an lilly) ran and dropped everything for love after releasing the ponygliffs for others to deal with it later.
There's the romance
Here comes the dawn. š¤Ŗ
The will of D laughs at death and impossible odds
š
one more thing regarding this. Both BigMom and Kaido were thrown to the depths of Wano, in the direction of pluton. This is a crackhead theory but, maybe that signals in a chekov's gun way that pluton is already theirs. IF franky remembers the blueprints to pluton and IF he discovers bigmom and kaido are alive and have pluton, he would be guaranteed to build a second pluton no matter what.
But those are two insane ifs. If yall have some definitive proof against that please comment
they fell in lava, which I would argue is worse than falling into the sea for a devil fruit user. I think they died, but their devil fruits will reappear (garland might be given it, who knows, but its back in circulation.)
Maybe kaidos fruit won't respawn due to cry baby having it
what do you guys think of this ? https://x.com/sigmarshanks/status/1886409538519138478/photo/1
I dont think much of it tbh
these are lunarians, birkans and shandorans (later split into shandians and skypieans)
who left the moon and went down to the earth in search for resources
I think Oda expanded on the mythos by adding the "first world" to explain how people escaped earth and went to the moon in the first place
probably he had a clear idea of the void century events, but only a few bullet points for what happened before that, so now he just solidified it by this mural and the harley text
I think it's clear to assume that lunarians lived on red line (where marie jois is currently) during the second world, so that must mean that red line was formed somewhere during the first world
wait so @shy oxide you're saying these three monstrous characters on the mural are the depictions of lunarians, birkans and shandorans, and they're shown as monsters to suggest this is how they were perceived by humans when the came from the moon to earth?
I can see the connection now, it's plausible, nothing's outside of realms of possibility
the more I look at it and think about it the more I see the connection, but I also acknowledge why the guy gets hate on X since he didn't explain the connection clearly, and it's hard to notice by regular people
the biggest assumption that 99% of us made from the get go on the mural was that the right side presents the first world, and the left side presents the second world, but it never was stated to be the case, and it could very well be that the mural drawn by this kid in the middle of void century just presents in its entirety (both halves) the events unfolding during the void century itself
What uf when a god is slain, it wanders in the void for a bit, and then reincarnates into a person. That persons will was the god, but at that point the god loses its memories abd powers (which are stored in the form of a devil fruit which will eventually find it's way back to it's owner) after the reincarnated god finds its powers and memories, it can begin to grow and return to it's former state.
i have a theory that Zunesha's crime was to hide Noah's Ark inside her... cause what could be the meaning of the World 1 having her with a Noah Ark ship '' inside '' her?? could be a representation of Trojan Horse too
Sigard? you mean Garling right and yes, since Shamrock is Garlings son and Shanks is Shamrocks twin brother that makes Garling Shanks dad
yeah sorry
yeah I figured as much because there was no way that they were not twins
not only that but shamrock has no devil fruit sooo
thats useually a hint to them being a mega power house
did you not read 1138?
no not yet forgot what day it was
oh nice ty thought it wasn't till next week
ah yes its written in the texts hahaha well there you go awesome
Still the best post of the day for me. I do think these are linked.
I got more, based on what Md-Bm made
in short the moon civilization comes to earth and is perceived as monsters who came to steal the resources, and is depicted as such on the mural by the kid of the void century
I have to think about all of this. There def. are some connections here that make sense.
but how does the dreams of the half moon and moon fit into this?
dunno, this is only one element of the mural that I found interestingly and strangely similar to the cover story, I don't claim to have the entire solution to the entire mural, just an observation on one element/part of it
but the similarities are uncanny
isnt this just wrong? Birkans wings do not point that direction.
it's not the wings that I pointed out as similar in red color, but the scarf (or whatever it is, looks scarf-like) similar to the markings on the monstrous fish-snake, it's the same pattern
I see, but I think what is lunarians here are birkans
no, birkans have white wings pointed up and don't fly, like shandians and skypieans
lunarians (like alber aka king) have dark wings pointed downwards and can fly and have fire powers
enel has to come back at some point and solve some of that mystery of the moon people
yes, what I mean is lunarians I still see no evidence of on the moon. The moon pictures show me the three sky people races and their little wings.
ye that's fair too, we have no evidence other than interpretation of the pictures from the cover story, so š
so without naming these three people (or cultures) from the cover story, the odd thing that I wanted to point out what the uncanny similarity to the depiction of the three monsters of the 1138 mural, from wings, to the horns, scarf pattern, tentacles, fish face etc.
oh for sure, but let us remember that shandorans, viewed the sun god as a snake. Even sacrificing people to the sun god to help save them.
So really I think good stuff here, but maybe a bit of reorganization of the tribes.
I am not sure moon people wanted to harvest our resources, I think they came to live and help humans. It is humans who could not listen to the sky people about sustainability.
Those were shandians who believed in 4 gods and made sacrificed to the snakes, shandians are descendants of shandorans
posting for @grim marsh who doesnt have pic perms lol
what yall think
The story goes that shandorans built the city of gold 1100 years ago, but were defeated in the void century, and the remainders of that civilization split into two groups, one named shandians who continued to protect the city of gold and the poneglyph, and the other group who went to skypiea
kalgara mentions in the flashback the 400 year old duty for the ancestors, and then in current times wiper and the chief both mention the 800 year old duty too, for their ancestors, the shandorans
so this "sun" sign, which is also present in alabastian culture, in shandorian culture, in fishman island culture, in wano culture - if you deny it, cross it out by putting an X mark on it you get the world government flag sign
first time we see that flag on denies lobby
Some suggestions on the timeline of Shanks returning to Mariegeoise: Between 25 and 13 years ago (Gol D Roger departing to robbing Who's Who's ship). 13 is probably on the edge since he was a well established Pirate but some events worth considering
Spandam gets approval to search for the ancient Weapons 14 years ago.
13 years ago Fisher Tiger attacks Mariegoise but was freed from slavery earlier after being enslaved for years
22 years ago Ohara
Some point after Roger's execution Mihawk becomes a warlord
Wow,
I just reread the Enel mini story like just now and thatās definitely a very strong perspective.
wait did imu create the redline and calm belt so that lily and nika/joyboy couldn't meet each other?
Laugh Tale is about a love triangle between joyboy, imu, and lily.
My gooooood
Here we have 19 doods and 1 with a crown on zunesha or whatever that thing isā¦
19 and 1
Theres 19 swords in the throne room
The last one isnt there, cause nefetari D lily did not stay on the redline, on the way home she went missing
That person there with the crown could be lily!
And the sin of zunesha? Does it have to do with lily disapearing?
Or Lili could be the angel drawn behind Noah
@violet hare
my theory is that the giant serpent that's shooting down the ark maxim with fire is an iteration of loki's fruit, the world serpent
now bear with me now
i believe that shamrock wants loki to join the holy knights because imu wants loki to actually envelop the red line
Little root made this?
Yes
I have to talk to him, love this ideas
Just tag the brother
Onh, I messaged him privately I hope he doesnāt get mad. I didnāt want to monopolize the conversation here with dozens of messages š
I was looking at the Imu creature to the left, and was like he is so big. Like dragon or titan big. But then I realized....he actually does look like a titan, just with wings. I then realized, his horns are like Loki. Then it hit me. The dragon in the mural is on a tree. The powerful creatures, like imu, build their empires on top of trees.
But back to loki and this demon, they look similar. That is because Titan's are decedents of dragons!
I don't think they will mind, but if you talked here, we all could've seen the convo and see where the theory led!
it is why the celestial dragons make an offer to Loki, because even though he is a half-breed in their mind, he is still half-dragon.
I'd be heavily inclined to believe this if I saw any examples of non-greek/roman mythology in OP
Imo the 'hellfire serpent' is a reference to Hades, since he in some iterations was said to be associated with snakes
Hades also has the ability to control the 'earth', making this interpretation more convincing for me
There's plenty of examples, christianity (adam + eve tree, DEVIL FRUITS) and now we're in elbaf
it's norse
I've seen some theories that it's the red line itself but I doubt that
devil fruits are just a loose inspiration, and I've no idea what you're referencing with adam and eve tree
I'm just using it to prove that other mythologies/religions come into play in the story
actually, you're right with Christianity
jus remembered Noah
Will we explore all 9 realms in Elbaf?
That's also an argument for Judaeism, though
Random God Valley theory/speculated details
ā¢Roger and crew went to God Valley not just for Rocks, but to steal a devil fruit in one of the God Valley chests. The Nika fruit. Rocks may have been after it too.
ā¢The battle happens, Rocks dies, the Roger Pirates escape with the chest, expecting the fruit but instead find Shanks.
ā¢Shanks learns of the Nika fruit and that the Roger Pirates sought it out later in his life on the Roger crew.
ā¢Later with his own crew, he learns of the fruit's whereabouts and steals it from the WG.
ā¢It's also possible Rocks ate the Nika fruit on God Valley, but was later killed in the battle there causing the fruit to reincarnate. That could explain why Rocks has the huge open grin and flowing hair seen in silhouette. Once again, the fruit evades capture by the WG as is implied to have happened countless times.
Really good! Interesting!
Theory: Interpretting the Text w/ Vegapunk's Message
The First World: The Age of Greed and Destruction
The first era marks a time when mankind reached for the forbidden power of the worldāpossibly referencing the Earth's core as a resource. "Within the earth there was fire. Mankind succumbed to greed and touched the forbidden sun." This suggests that in the distant past, humans exploited the planetās most powerful and dangerous energy source (likely the Ancient Weapons or a similar energy source), leading to disastrous consequences.
This aligns with Vegapunkās statement that "a man-made disaster" sank the world a thousand years ago. If the first world represents the origins of humanityās technological progress, they may have attempted to harness the planetās core energy, causing massive upheavalāvolcanoes erupting, fires spreading, and possibly an ice age as the worldās temperature fluctuated. The "serpent of hellfire" could symbolize either the volcanic eruptions or a literal Earth god (a force of nature) that raged against humanityās actions.
This event may have led to the world being shrouded in darkness, either through natural catastrophe or a violent reaction from the worldās gods (earth gods, sea gods, etc.). This devastating event could have wiped out much of civilization and left the world in ruins, resembling a dark age, where society began to rebuild and regain some semblance of order.
The Second World: The Age of War and Sinking
The second era emerges after the ice melts, and the world begins to recover. "Within the void there was breath. The forest god tamed demons and the sun spread the fires of war." This represents a time of new life and conflict. After the worldās physical recovery, society faces new challenges, particularly the moral dilemma of limited resources and the fight for survival.
The Underworld seems to be based on either Tartarus or Helheimr
Vegapunk's transcript reveals that "the world was sinking" around 800ā900 years ago, indicating that the Earthās resources were running out, perhaps because the ancient weapons had been used once more. The "vast war" Vegapunk references between JoyBoy and the World Government was likely a struggle over the fate of the world. The Alliance (precursor to the World Government) wanted to save a select few, potentially leaving the rest of humanity to perish. Meanwhile, JoyBoyās ideology was more inclusiveāhe sought to save everyone, an approach that would likely drain the remaining resources and accelerate the worldās decline.
The war between JoyBoy and the Alliance was likely not a simple battle between good and evil, as Vegapunk points out. Instead, it was a moral and ideological conflict over how to best preserve humanity and the planetāwhether to save the few at the cost of the many or to fight for a more equitable solution that might not be feasible. The "Moon" and the "Sun" metaphor could represent different ideologies or factions in this conflict, with each seeking to control or reshape the world in their image.
The Third World: The Age of Restoration and the New Dawn
The third era, the world we currently inhabit in "One Piece," is defined by "chaos" and "emptiness," yet it also foreshadows a "new dawn." The "inconvenient remnants recall the promised day," which could symbolize the ancient civilizations' legacies, such as the Poneglyphs, and the return of JoyBoy (or the reincarnation of JoyBoy in the form of Luffy). The "voice of the half-moon" could refer to the hidden truths that are finally coming to light, with Luffy and the Straw Hat Pirates uncovering the mysteries of the past.
so there's a possibility the 9 realms will hold heavy resemblence to the 9 realms of Yggdrasil, considering the Underworld is also under the Tree Adam, just as the 9 realms surround Yggdrasil
Yes, you're right. Snce I have already sent my theory about the interpretation of the mural twice, I wanted to ask if anyone has ideas on how to answer these three questions:
- Who do you think are the people with halos on their heads?
- Who is the god of the forest that seems to create the fruits in the second world?
- How was the sun god born during the first world?
If you reply or refer to a message that has already been sent, I would be happy. Thanks!
Thx! There's some inconsistency with the Roger Pirates believing the fruit to be in the chest, and Rocks eating the fruit so I try and keep those details separate. Like, if Rocks did eat the fruit, the Roger Pirates would definitely have known that when fighting him, so obviously it wouldn't be in the chest.
The meeting of the sun and the moons could have a deeper symbolic and literal meaning. As Vegapunk hints, the Ancient Weapons are tied to both the sea and the celestial bodies. The seven moons in the sky are incredibly rare and align with a once-in-a-lifetime event, perhaps an eclipse or a celestial convergence, where all the moons will align with the sun, triggering an event that has been prophesied for centuries. This might be the moment when Shirahoshi (Poseidon) and Luffy (the reincarnation of JoyBoy) will come together to fulfill their shared destiny.
They Will Meet Again:
The meeting of the sun and moons could be the final key to unlocking the true power of the Ancient Weapons or the mechanism that will either destroy or save the world.
The rare alignment of the seven moons could represent the final piece of the puzzle. The coming eclipse, when all seven moons align, could mark the "new dawn" of the third world, the moment when the truths of the Void Century and the ancient powers are fully revealed.
This alignment could also symbolize the reunion of the sun god and the moon goddesses (Shirahoshi and Luffy), who, through their combined powers, will guide the world to its final resolutionābringing an end to the cycles of destruction that have plagued humanity for millennia.
Connecting Vegapunkās Message:
Vegapunkās final message corroborates this theory by acknowledging that the worldās sinking is tied to the Ancient Weapons, and that the Void Century was marked by a war for survival. Vegapunkās warning about history repeating itself through the reactivation of the Ancient Weapons suggests that we are nearing the moment when the pastās mistakes will come to a head. Luffy, as the inheritor of JoyBoyās will, is the key to breaking the cycle and bringing about a new era of peace. The rising sun and the alignment of the moons signal the fulfillment of that destiny, where the two opposing forces (sun and moon) will finally "meet."
I donāt think itās halo on peopleās head. Itās energy ball they are holding, mined from underground
The image on the right is line a mining operations: workers going underground with an elevator and came up with mined stuff
Human over exhausted the earth energy and caused a disaster happening (possibly an eruption that created the red line, like many suggested)
What you thing are those energy spheres that people are carrying on the left side of the elevator? Are they taking them up or down?
They are taking them up
I agree, I think even the moon and half-moon are also different interpretations. As we see in Elbaf, people appear to have been fighting for centuries on who is the sun god.
Blackbeard is probably a person of the moon or descendant of
Wait, are you talking about the energy spheres? Because on the elevator, there are both those with the energy spheres, which I also think are being carried upwards, and then on the right side, there are those who seem to have a halo.
adding onto this, realized that every time we see a full moon, it references some kind of monster. Like chapter 152 (Chapter name is literally full moon), Chopper doesn't want to join the crew because he's a monster. And in later chapters, Minks become Sulong in the full moon. Monsters in the full moon, could be like One Piece RED
ah you're talking about the people going down on the right. It's inconsistent: 1 out of 4 people on the elevator doesn't have the halo.
I think they are also slaves (no different from people in the building)
we do see the artifical mother flame in water:
atomic bomb XD
kinda, but mother flame is basically the most powerful force on the planet concentrated, life energy
The Gods are dragonās
⢠Dragons are the original āgodsā of One Piece. They are not actual deities, but incredibly powerful creatures with unique abilities.
⢠Man in their greed and lust for power, eventually came into conflict with dragons and their children.
⢠The spawn of dragonās are why we have creatures of sizes far behind the size of normal men.
⢠Lunarianās, the children of the Earth god, waged a war. Potentially also half moon people. They possess some of their fathers size, strength, and ability to harness dragon fire.
⢠The sea people are children of the Sea god. He could command his children to fight when the time came. His descendants would maintain not only a dragonās size, but the chance to command all his children. Some of them could actually control the ocean (fishman karate.) Their palace has on it the great sea god.
⢠Giants are descended generally from the Dragon. His children are taller than most children. Some of his lineage maintain a size closer to an actual dragon, hundreds of feet tall with dragon horns. Giants may have slayed their dragon father.
⢠The current ruler of a world may or may not be a dragon. It might be a human who wants to play god, and the dead sun god.
Keido is a fish-fish fruit, because he take the form of the ocean dragon god. I would not be shocked to see Loki be a forest dragon.
Chapter 1138 Harley I just want to put my thoughts out there about the last panel this is what I put together
"They"= Imu (as in they will never meet/ will sure meet)
"Forest God"= devil fruit tree in the middle ("the forest god tamed the demons")
"sea God"= Kaido (mad that he wasn't Nika and that's why it says "and the sea god stormed" and he never got to go to Skypiea where the sun god info was because of Enel. It's a little reach but adds up in the line aka the second world) Also his DF is the fish fish fruit.
Earth god= is the serpent aka red line
sun god= Luffy (in the third world) and Joy (in the first world) 800 Years time gap
The half moon= the will of D "The voice of the half moon the sun god dances and laughs"
the man killed the sun = Enel (he destroyed everything about the sun god when he blew up Skypiea. he also became their god (" man killed the sun and became god")
my answer to they will never meet is (the First World) the red line split the Seas in 4 aka earth god so imu wasn't able to fight or meet Joy Boy 800 years ago that why they will never meet. (the second sea world) Enel destroyed Sky Island, so that was the only way or close way of finding or meeting Joy Boy so they will never meet. (the third world) Joy Boy has awakened after 800 years is Luffy and he probably destroyed Fish man island connect the fish man and people destroyed the Red Line (this also helps Sanji to find the all blue where all the seas connect) and frees Imu (if trapped idk just guessing) which allows them to meet. "And they will surely meetā.
I'm just sitting here at 1:30 in the morning just thinking and trying to put it together thoughts?
I don't think there were literally gods in the first world. I think mankind derived the planet of resources and nature fought back w/ sea levels rising, "flame" on earth, potential earthquakes, the establishment of weird weather patterns that we've seen across the series, the red line and a rise in the sea level(an allegory to climate change). It's important to also consider that there was no void of history in the first world, so the people of the second world WOULD KNOW about what occured in the first world. However, if the first world's history was explained by everything being god's doing, then we must now look at what Willie Gallon said and what Vegapunk said about devil fruits = whatever you can imagine can become reality. If the people of the second world imagined there being gods in the first world, I believe this is what gave birth to the demons / gods. This explains why the harley text basically puts blame on the sun god in the 2nd world and why there's a debate on if the sun god is good or bad in elbaf, and maybe why VP is resistant on saying if this is a matter of evil vs good. JoyBoy / Ancient Kingdom must have interpreted the first world's history wrong and given birth to actual demons and gods through imagination, and this is how the devil fruits are born.
I think the two person that the Harley pertains to (the ones who would meet again) are Momonosuke and Shirahoshi.
I still think it's Luffy and Shirahosi. Moon controls the sea (currents) like Poseidon controls the sea/sea kings. Sun meets Moon
so Shirahosi is the moon princess (something Oda kinda introduced in Wano)
W
Oda cooked the ambiguity of the mural to a fine degree
like whether the dark stuff on the first world panel is earth or water
Or whether those are smoke or clouds
Which actually now I think abt, maybe its like, maybe we are supposed to read both sides of the mural as representations of 2 different moments
So the third world panel represents the future fight against imu AND the past fight against the (to-be) world government
The first world panel represents the beggining of exploitation of the earth core (they are on ground, and the buildings are producing smoke) AND the consequences of exploitation of the earth core (they are on water, and the buildings are producing cloud)
And in total the mural represents 5 distincts moments in history (maybe even 6 with the eve/adam tree in the middle)
But then we need to differentiate what the kid drawing the mural meant vs what Oda wants to express with the mural
geta job
š š š š
Second world reads "the sun spread the fires of war" exactly the panel with the tree, connecting elbaph, the land of war. Though ofc the main reading of the tree in the panel is Eve, it's still a clear connection to adam tree
Apology accepted
š thanks
Where the heeeelll does Davy Jones fit in all of this? Anyone?
is he even important lmao
o_0 crazy if true
I think Imu and his inner circle above the elders will kill all of the celestial dragons once the rebellion reaches an unstoppable state. He likely views them simply as tools to help maintain dominion over the world to be discarded the moment they stop being useful
What do you guys think of the idea that one pieces story is cyclical and the mural is the past and future, an event that keeps happening till we get it right
is it an old theory, that the D are half moon people?
as we know that one piece is heading towards the end, im rereading a lot and looking at the puzzle pieces we have.
i plan on writing it down, with pictures and everything, heres a very quick summary:
the moon people*(moon people=ancestors of shandorian, skypian and birkas)* that came to earth, created the ancient/great/advanced kingdom.
as with all races in one piece, there are childrens whos parents are human and moon people, so they are half moon people. just like we have half giants, half bucaneers, half fishmen... just no half skypians or similar, funny right?
the mural mentions moon people and half moon people/D
vegapunk mentioned that he doesnt want to judge, who in the void century was right and whos wrong, but there was some kind of war between the ancient/great/advanced kingdom and the 20 kingdoms
we do know that the moon people came to earth, cause they used up all resources on the moon and earth still has resources
so we got moon people who are highly advanced but already destroyed one planet by using up all resources and then we have the 20 kingdoms who dont want that
not an easy question to answer, is it?
technological advancement, or sustainability?
Where's BlackBeard, the third Nika? We have Luffy (liberation). We have Loki (laughing). Where is (destruction).
It seems a lot of people/beings have thought they were the sun god.
Luffy is destruction. Blackbeard is liberation. Evidence below. Laughing is me.
Zunesha is a companion of joyboy, why isnāt he on the mural? I mean, thereās a vague shape of an elephant on the right side where the Noah is, but thatās not an obvious elephant to really be sure if thatās him. If that shape really is suppose to be Zunesha. Did he betray joyboy? And the character on the shape is Imu⦠donāt know where to go with that
He committed a crime, against who? Maybe he first worked for Imu, then switched to joyboyās side. But he canāt do anything without permission from anyone with the voice of all things, or specifically someone kouzuki clan. So did joyboyās side sentence Zunesha?
Just saw this on reddit! The half moon looks like a D!
Moon people(ancient kingdom) are ancestors of the winged races
Half moon should mean that the D clan have moon people blood in them?
@pure raven from last week's chapter there are the lunarians and the ones from the halfmoon. So who knows? The other moon could be the ones from the shattered moon or the half moon clan.
destruction and liberation is a matter of perspective really. Doflamingo said it himself
In greek mythology, Hesperides were children of the night and the Titan Celestial Atlas. They were nymphs of twilight, the west, and the morning star who tended the forbidden garden. Within it was a great tree with apples of the gods, guarded by a great dragon. Breaking of this would destroy the cycle of mortality. Just food for thought I been thinking about this.
So the mural obviously shows Poseidon and people have theorized that the Maxim look-alike is Uranus. The fact that that franky is shown in that panel has me wondering. Oda couldāve just shown us the mural without Franky in it. What if thatās his way of foreshadowing that Franky is pluton

This guy has put into words everything that I wanted to say about the final page.
The gods referred in the mural are not literal.
Yeah, this is good.
The scale of time in OP is so long and crazy that it's tough to pin down sometimes.
Really starting to think the "sky calendar" and the "sea calendar" are named appropriately
Also speaking of resource allocation and migration, is this a bit of history repeating itself?
Someone please find me a single panel of the actual sun drawn in the manga
Itās crazy that weāve never seen stars
Especially considering sailors used to use stars for navigation
Interesting, only once Enel was off the planet have we ever seen them. Theyāve never been visible from the one piece world
Two explanations come to mind, one Oda lazy and doesn't like drawing stars...or one of the many crack pot theories, such as, the atmosphere of One Piece extends beyond the moon, etc.... At any rate, there are infact stars. But imagine this cover story didn't exist...
Thanks
i think chapter 299 or 300 is another good one, thatās when luffy defeats enel and iirc poses right in front of the sun
The moon stuff has always been super interesting.
Enel's a logia, but I don't know if we've ever had a different example of a Logia not needing food, water, air, etc.
The space pirates don't seem to need air while on the moon either, but some of them have dials on their spacesuits implying there's a need for it in space
another banger. 8 years is such a long time for loki to be out there, would be awesome if he inspired kid to set sail too. similar views on CDs, similar rage at shanks, kid knowing giantsā size (he saw stansen at the auction house admittedly tho long before he made that comment abt haccha), plenty of good stuff you found. and yea unless itās like a special sea stone key kid could totally free loki. i hope youāre right.
What Harley Text Has To Say About The First World
According to the Harley, and the mural drawn by the Giants long ago, the three worlds of One Piece have been revealed. The First World existed long ago, and as was revealed in the story already, this world existed before even the Void Century. The First World's exact time period isn't known. But, if things move in cycles, then the first world could be about 1600 years ago, given that 800 years ago was the Void Century.During the First World, it appears that the One Piece world was quite modern. There appear to be giant buildings and power plants, along with factories. It is highly likely that this world was incredibly vast and that many large continents existed during this time period, since the world hadn't been sunk at all. Fans know that mankind existed at this point in time, given that the mural clearly showed humans working. These humans are referred to as slaves in the Harley texts. It is believed that flames engulfed the land during this time period. This Could be literal, as in the world was covered in a sea of flames, or something figurative and more along the lines of the world had discovered an ancient power source, the Mother Flame. Given that Vegapunk already clarified that the world of One Piece had its own sun long ago that powered up everything and the usage of which was mindblowing, this is like what the myth implies here.
Our world has already been destroyed twice, according to the Harley! ā Jarul
The Harley also clearly mentions they the humans of this time period grew greedy and gave in to their desires. They touched the forbidden sun. This forbidden sun could very well be the Mother Flame or the final product of the Mother Flame that Vegapunk wanted to create. Humans gained a lot of power during this time, and rose greatly in the world. It is likely that slavery became widespread during this time in order to create more Motherflame, which is something that the text indicates as well. The enslaved people, who suffered greatly, wished for relief and the Sun God appeared. This is very important, as Vegapunk mentioned in the Egghead arc that the wishes of the people give rise to Devil Fruits. Two possibilities arise here. The first one is that the wishes of these slaves led to the creation of this Devil Fruit through the Forbidden Sun somehow, and then someone went on to consume this fruit. The second possibility is that the Sun God actually appeared from somewhere, potentially even another Celestial body, just like the Winged races of the One Piece world. In one way or another, the Sun God did end up appearing to free the enslaved from their misery Where exactly this Sun God comes from isn't clarified in the Harley texts. The only thing that fans know here is that the Sun God popped up following the prayers of the oppressed. The rulers of the world clearly didn't like this, and this is something that Jarul mentioned previously as well. The Harley specifically implies that the God of the Earth was enraged by this and he then collaborated with the Serpent of Karmic in Infernal flames. Together, they destroyed the world and shrouded it in death and darkness. The implication here is that Imu, if they existed during this time, is the God of the Earth
This is because Jarul already clarified they those in power fear Sun God Nika's arrival, and clearly, it was the God of the Earth who grew enraged. Who exactly the Serpent being referred to is remains to be seen. But, what fans know is that this serpent has previously been mentioned by Dorry and Brogy. According to them, they can pierce anything but this Serpent, something that they mentioned long ago in the Little Garden Arc of the series.
--Just saw this
I doubt it, lunarisns so far have only been stated to life on redline as gods, from the mural we dont see any lunarians
My guess is, lunarians are moon people that created a new race thats mixed with the motherflame, like seraphims
Thats way they never have the issue of lacking energy
What exactly is meant with not literal?
Thank you so much, khi!
Today, me and my fiancƩ spent some time in the library to reread over Kid panels to catch more details, and this is further info we found:
- That's correct, Kid did see a clear shot of Stansen peeking out of the curtain at the auction house. This was only for the span of a minute or two, and at a farther distance with his POV above Stansen, compared to his close-up & towering experience with Haccha.
But admittedly, that Sabaody scene alone could have offered Kid insight to be somewhat familiar with giant sizes, and he might still accurately remember that glimpse he saw to this day.
- Interestingly, the existence of a "nose plate" on Kid's goggles is also shared by Loki. I scanned through Google on "One Piece goggles characters", and it would seem that ONLY Loki and a couple other Elbaph giants share this combination of goggles + nose plate design. (Hajrudin and Dorry, most notably.)
It's safe to assume that just like Kid, once the bandages are taken off Loki's eyes, he'll also be revealed as a goggled character.
I found a suitable unmasked Loki fanart I liked for purposes of showing this, here's the credits:
https://www.reddit.com/r/OnePiece/comments/1g7i98l/loki_of_elbaf/
Perhaps this may be the first arc where Kid also wears his goggles down?
- Kid (+Killer) is currently the ONLY 11 Supernova with an actual name given for his home island, and hasn't been given an on-screen flashback for it.
In the original SBS Oda talked about it, he didn't even give it a name. He just left it vague as "a certain unaffiliated island".
But when I got back into One Piece after a long break and spontaneously learnt Oda later did touch on it even further, revealing the name as Kusukku Island a few months ago in his databook, I immediately realised it's going to have in-story relevance.
Perhaps Loki actually went there?
Beforehand, the only other 11 Super-Rookie Oda gave a name for their home island was Bonney's Sorbet Kingdom, and Law's Flevance during his actual flashback. And we all know what ended up happening with these two characters, their islands ended up being spotlighted quite a bit in the story.
So whether people like him or not, Kid shouldn't be any different.
- Despite Bonney having an important connection to Kuma and wanting to find Vegapunk so badly, it still took her longer than the 2-year timeskip to do so.
So, it's very reasonable for Kid to not have made it to Elbaph and reunited with Loki yet either, even if they were on friendly terms in the past.
Elbaph is equally as deep into the New World as Egghead is, after all.
Literal in the sense that they are not "actually" gods but considered as such because of their extraordinary mythical powers. Watch the video if you want for more
Ah yea clearly
Poseidon isn't really a god here. She is just an ancient weapon due to here extraordinary ability to converse with the sea giants.
Yea but shes called a god of the sea
So shes a god, its just the definition of god we have in the real world
Theres also a people where someone says ,, she isnt an ancient weaponā
I gotta find it again
The point is she's considered a god because of a myth and the myth ain't real while the ancient weapons are real. The people of the old times considered the lunarians as the gods too. The people of the sky island considered a snake as a god.
Yo
I mean not everyone can control sea kings lol
She has some ability, so shes considered the god of sea, as thats supposedly the name of the one who can do that
God is just like a name
yo guys what if shanks cut off his arm to warn luffy about shamrock in a way
so that luffy could differentiate between both of them
I don't think imu kills the CDs but they are weaponized for something. It could also be a blood sacrifice but Id assume there is a reason imu keeps morons like charlos around.
He let's them claim they are descendants of gods when in actuality they are just the fat headed fools who built upon stolen land
Not sure anyone has suggested this but I think Dragon and the Revolutionary Army will break Doflmaingo out of Impel Down. I dont think the Cross Guild can do it because they are in the New World and the Bege Cover story seems to suggest New World Paradise travel is constrained by the Marines right now.
Meanwhile the RA is probably the only Paradise group that could pull it off. It also always seemed to me like Ivanokv and Dragon had a specific plan in regards to Impel Down, as they were always blase about ex-slave Ivankov in Marine custody.
You'll probably all take this with a grain of salt, but i believe Oda has been quite deliberate in his wording of the mural. In all 3 panels he features words starting with the letter D. We have: Darkness, Death, Dreamed/dreaming/dreamers, Dances/dance/dancing and Dawn. I surmise these words encompass the broad definitions of the D. within certain characters names.
We have Blackbeard who most certainly possesses the will of Darkness.
We have Law who encompasses Death.
We have Buggy (almost certainly a D as well) who will represent dreaming, as his ambitions are always the height of what a dreamer would think of.
We have Portgas D. Ace who was the second embodiment of dreaming as he dreamt of making whitebeard king.
We have Monkey D Luffy who embodies dancing, and Nika (living in the body of a D.) who embodies the new Dawn.
My theory is that One Piece is the meeting of two parts that will become one... that's why the poem says that in the third world they will definitely meet... that's why Roger laughs when he ''finds the One Piece'' he can't have it because he needs two parts and the second one might be Nika. I think ''they'' in the poems is exactly about the two pieces that will become one.
naah thats just an epic fart
how are we on the Kaido is Haralds son theory
i mean if you have anything besides "he kinda looks like him" which is a stretch
They may have both tge same ancestor.
Like Loki and Hajrudin.
Kaido might be his half brother
Kaido is younger than Loki
does anyone have an idea where there going to fight emu? base one the third word drawing?
||one piece's ending contains solution to the 5000 years old conflict in the middle east||
Not exactly related to the recent chapter-- but I do still believe about the Mother Flame/Or Iternal Flame giving Luffy a boost in power somewhere in a fight at some point.
One thing I think it'd be really cool is that if the Zoan scarf thing around him in Gear 5 turns black like how most Zoans have had if he was to get a powerup specifically for that form.
Just wanted to say this since it's been in my mind for way too long
And even if we don't get a power-up like that, just thinking about the design is enough for me to think about, lol
Looks more like white beard than kaido š kaidos a different species....
More chance of Brook being kuzans dad š
I mean it might not be totally a myth, at least not 100%. We see those descended from gods as having some unique properties. One clear sign are beings like Lunarians, Shirahoshi and ancient giants who clearly come from ancestors that had titantic and potentially planet warping power.
I think we can use the term 'gods' with little g a little liberally because, its a name.
The ancient gods probably were just a lot more powerful though, so feel closer to a true god.
Ok
Some people probably already figured this out, but imma just say this right now
So-- the whole "Humanity killed the sun, and ascended to divinity" thing is obviously for the W.G and Celestial Dragons, but..
What if that also tied to Nika, too, in a sense?
I was just watching Big Mom's flashback and I just remembered that Mother Carmel said that, the winter solstice celebrates the death and rebirth of the sun.
NOW, this could of course just mean prometheus, one of Big Mom's homies. But, it's just the fact that this could also somewhat mean something with what was said about how humanity killed the 'sun'
So uh...
Yea.
I'm not gonna say anything else, imma just let that sink in instead-
I could just be reading it wrong, but it just seemed to make sense to me--
the sun god in ancient central american culture was about renewal. Life and death, sun and moon. Ragnarok means something similar as well.
I can see how Roger died and Joyboy died being similar. You could argue why we saw loki destroying his father. In order for the future to have a chance, you have to die.
Now loki took it upon himself to kill his father, that was not his father's choice, but loki also was getting pumped some mixed messenging.
-# yep
-# I stand corrected, then sjdsjsh-
I honestly never knew that though, damn--
yea...
Even if he was getting some mixed messages from his father, that still doesn't excuse his actions.
Something definitely must've happened for him to be this way, and it's possible it has to do with the person he was speaking to on the snail
Speaking of Loki, I'm still curious what his powers could be.
Like.. I genuinely can't even guess what it could be for him to refer to himself as the 'Sun God'
My guess is some sort of fire-based/or fire related ability or something similar like Whitebeard's fruit, but other than that, I genuinely don't know.
Bro was getting the shit beat off of him while chained up, it's insaneš
The true name of enel's devil fruit is the hito hito no mi, model moon god, since the sun and moon are natural enemies. Enel found the blueprints to an ancient weapon in his hometown, before he destroyed all of it, and made the ark maxim in search of the mother flame, which he read about on carvings. The world government knew about the mother flame being hidden on the moon, so they asked vegapunk to make the space pirates to search for it (the space pirates are robots they have dials on their chests and their flag is shaped like vegapunks head) he will come down to the blue sea, or rather with rising sea levels, itll come up to the white sea, and luffy will have a rematch against him and all his automatons
im onto nun š
#- imagine if the theory was right -#
that interesting that why they are totally opposite
#- huh?
Sun and Moon
Rubber and Electricty
yeah exactly
so Luffy need to go to the Sun XD
or enels a sungod like the ancient greek mythology 3 sungods or the holy trinity loki cz he laughs the same as luffy and enel cz idk
he laugh Yahahah*
That right D is everything, and also so semi-moon and the smile
I think that Domination is more accurate, like Roger (absolute liberty) and Xebec (absolute domination)
wow
Flame in Water : it's remind me the Red Hawk š„
Any ideas why luffy basically said that buggy wasnāt part of shanks family, he did find out they grew up with each other on Rogerās crew and shanks does love buggy probably more than buggy loves him but even I can see shanks considers buggy part of his family so why would luffy say he isnāt?
When Vegapunk is talking about the motherflame, he seems to be really showing that ambient energy, the energy of life, is what fuels it. Trying to harvest it.
there's been this game "asura's wrath" where one of plot elements was that the soul a humans can be converted into this cosmic energy called "mantra", and the 8 general protectors of the earth over time got corrputed by power and started to mass kill humans to extract from their souls that energy to fuel themselves and called themselves dieties - and it was even stated that over 12k year span they killed multiple billions of humans
I saw that theory, that the halo people are the dead being put into a something to harvest their energy.
We can see Haki is likely tied to this, given one person can basically be a miniature anicent weapon.
When did he said that ?
He doesnāt like Buggy so he probably assumed Shanks didnāt either
Would be my guess
PAO PERIERA IS A TREE THAT SUPOSEDLY CURES CANCER PLEASE DO YOUR OWN RESEARCH !
1138 when discussing shanks's family
Luffy is so ignorant that he doesn't know that it was the pirate king crew (baggy ect) i think
no i think he's in denial
hum i said shit
ah it's because of the Baggy and Shanks quarrel about One Piece quest
in 1082 Baggy lose respect in Shanks and i think Luffy noticed that during his time spent with Baggy
...? i dont recall luffy knowing about either the quarrel abt one piece or buggy being disappointed in shanks for only now moving to claim the one piece
In this panel, Harley only confirms three of the four gods: the god of the sun, the god of the forest, and the god of the earth. According to Vegapunk, devil fruits were made from the wishes of humans, so āfrom whispered prayers, the sun god roseā. According to numerous panels, Luffy has the devil fruit that is believed to be Nika and Joyboy, but why are his powers not sun manipulation? Well, the people prayed for freedom, so what if the God of the sun's symbolism is freedom which is the ability to be free through rubber? What if the god of the earth and forest are powers that are symbolic, not literal? For example, according to Harley, āgod of the earth was enragedā¦god of the forest raised demonsā. These two lines can mean that the god of the earth is the dragon in the mural, but I am not sure where the god of the forest is in the panel. What if the god of the earth and the god of the forest are devil fruit users instead? My theory is that there are two other potential users of the god of the forest [Imu] and the god of the earth [Whitebeard previously but now in the hands of Blackbeard] devil fruits. According to the panel, the powers of the āgod of the forest raised demonsā was shown in egghead through the gorosei and symbol for their teleportation. What if the God of the forest has the ability to nurture demons? I think Imu has the ability to share his powers with the Gorosei, and each Gorosei has similar forms to animals in a forest like boar, worm, bird, horse, and spider. However, each animal is treated as a monster in their mythologies.
For example, Arachne, goddess of spiders, is treated as a monster or devil in Greek mythology; Boar is treated as a monster and antagonist to Heracles; Horse is shown to be horse from hell or undead which is normally depicted as evil in different mythologies; In real life, parasitic worms can spread diseases and kill living things either through direct or infections; and in greek mythology, vulture, birds, are a symbol of death. The main idea is that these animals may seem good, but they are demons or evil in their ways. What if the god of the forest is like a serpent or satan that tempted and/or raised demons through the animals of the forest? If Imu is capable of turning demons through Animalia forms, he would be the most likely candidate. In addition, I think guro guro no mi is the god of the earth itself. In the panel, Harley states āGod of the earth is enragedā. This can mean that the god of the earth can destroy the world with his powers. What if the guro guro no mi is the devil fruit that is the god of the earth? Which could explain why Blackbeard stole that specific devil fruit instead of the reason being the strongest df.
I think the previous yonko before shanks become one 6 years ago would be Ochoku the one who rules the Pirate Island before BB took it but he become to stale and afraid to go out from Hachinosu that he fell off the radar then Shanks come and ruled with his influence
Your point of view is very interesting !
I so this very literaly personaly something like :
-Liberty (body) : Luffy and the capacity to surpass limits of the body => Rubber
-Liberty (speed) : Ener and capacity to move as fast as light => Electricity
-Liverty (mind?) : ???
-God of Earth would be : Kaido with Wano explotation
-God of Forest may be : Imu who control the fruit tree
What do you think of this pov ?
Bug D.
or is it Buggy D. Clown?
so the fallowing happened: Mankind took power from the "Forbidden sun" ( need to identify what that is )
then the enslaved people prayed and the sun god appeared ( could be Nika)
then the Earth God raged with the serpent of hellfire
then "shrouded the world in death, darkness, and they will never meat ( who is they )
"within the void there was a breath" (the 100 year void?, and "breath"?)
the forest god tamed the demons (the devil fruits?)
the half moon probably refers to the minks
my theory is half moon are D-clan member
what if pluton is franky? u see all of the ancient weapons at the mural but pluton....
it def isn't a coincidence that oda made franky the one to see the mural, and also the fact that his wanted poster is the sunny could he foreshadowing
pluton is at wano
They said Pluton is a war ship so Sunny could be
Thing Sunny is GONNA be Pluton, probably marines will destroy the ship in Wano
Ok. Think about this:
- We know of an ancient "unlimited" energy source, which vegapunk tried to replicate with the Mother Flame
- We now see a possibility of the harnessing of the initial Mother Flame and the potential creation of the Lunarians.
- The great serpent is the Red Line, which split the continent. "They will never meet again" (hint hint PANGEA CASTLE sits atop the red line)
This is a sick theory but I believe sun god nika is a fruit because people wanted it just like other devil fruits , I donāt think it would
Be fair for one devil fruit to have the powers of a literal god. All though you mentioning quake as a god fruit is very interesting . Quake in the anime is considered to be the most destructive fruit and is considered special , same as goro which is just a lightning fruit would that maybe be the rain god zoan instead? He even had a transformation and all , though the thing about Imu I noticed one thing when he attacked he let out an arrow which looked and moved exactly the same as the arrow arrow fruit. There was a theory stating imu has every devil fruit power which imo is a reach but interesting to think abt
why would u say this when they said pluton is under wano
do you guys think that the De is the name of the people from the kingdom 900years ago
and there strain is what is today like Luffy and his family and Roger and others ......
I think the moon people might refer to any decendents of the great gods/dragons.
Half of a circle is a D
I wanna think those of the full moon are the minks/people of the moon
Shandians/Birkas
Minks, lunarians, giants, fishmen...ect. The dragons had the key to lineage factor that they shared with humans, and each race expressses a different trait.
I wanna think the āsunā in context to the Harley texts could be the āforbidden flameā that had been lost.
The ancient energy source.
I wanna believe the One Piece treasure has to do with that ancient energy source that powered the world.
The world of one piece itself could be wrapped around the solar systems sun.
Hence why we see these people on the far right of the mural appearing to go into the ground.
the āgodsā in the story could have been not literal figures but powers of nature.
we do see a real sun in the sky, so there is a sun nearby
There could just be 2 suns
is this the dyson sphere theory?
The model we see in Ohara points to planets orbiting the one piece one.
i like it, but might be a bit too crazy.
def. gets into sci-fi craziness too, which I gueses Oda could go there
It could be. But Vegapunk did say that the technology then was far far more superior.
I wanna believe humanity reached it peak with space travel and harvesting the sun.
Hence why we have pirates in space.
yeah, not ruling it out. Just very sci-fi.
An Usopp theory.
We know about Heracles and that island with literally no other human there. Right?
What if Heracles is a God Knight?
What if that island, the one where Usopp landed after Kuma sent him away, is the Forest God devil fruit user? The island absorbed the devil fruit only because there was literally no other element on that island. That island earlier was just one big same material made island with no vegetation, and then this devil fruit showed up, got "eaten" due to years and years of staying there. Just like in the case of a weapon eating a devil fruit.
Coming back, Heracles was sent in that patch of Grand Line, long ago... And so he did not know about the fact that Usopp is a pirate and he is with Luffy because the island never let anyone in, and Heracles forced his way in like a burglar and so the island was trying to kill him everyday and didn't let any news in or let anything get out. And when Usopp came, the island allowed him in. Because Usopp carried some sort of connection to the Nika fruit, and the island got interested. And Kuma may have known, may have suspected so he sent the one person, the only one who could survive there, who could give that island a reason to stop being just an island and be a piece in a 'much bigger chess board'.
The island, being the forest god user, tested Usopp, gave him everything to see him at his worst and then threw everything the island of the world at him to test him when Usopp wanted to get out.
We also know Usopp never learned Haki, mantra, or anything of the sort. Because Heracles didn't wanted to teach him that. And Heracles also didn't have enough info upon who these straw hats really were since he was sent way before Luffy even set out.
And the island also forced Heracles's hand into training Usopp, so basically Usopp got trained half-heartedly by a God Knight. Island forced the hand because it wanted to know who this sun god is, and also I think the island has already gone through awakening.
Would be very interesting
We will see!
although the ancient weapons leaving giant holes might suggest there is something weird going on inside the earth
although, that doesnt exactly explain how sea level would rise unless you had a million giant sea holes
I wanna assume thatās what happened. Potentially someone stole one piece of the forbidden flame and evoked the wrath of Imu where he used all the power he had to attack islands.
I wanna suspect they used Uranus a great deal.
do we know if most of the flooding happened in the first age or 2nd world?
And everytime Usopp has used something connected to the island he has been planting that island's control in that place. Even Usopp's weapon is just a seed that island can control since it's a god fruit.
We have seen that everything that Usopp has used that has connection to the island literally has a good reactive consciousness. As if everything knows how to do that, what if the island has been watching?
And so I present to you......
Usopp, the to-be true warrior of the sea, the blessed of the forest god, the friend of the sun god.
That Forest God devil fruit using island favors Usopp. That I am sure of. And it is learning everything that Imu and everyone has done through the ages..
First there was a great shroud by the earth god
yeah, that is just a guess is what your saying
Then man called them self god which invoked the wrath of the sea.
sea god wrath could be the grand line
I wanna ASSUME when they started calling themselves gods they would envoke the powers of Uranus on humanity that opposed them.
Thus massively flooding the world
Thereās a theory the OP world was once a Pangea. A singular land mass. Then by the powers of the serpent the lands were divided. Then flooded to create islands.
which came in the second world
And one more thing, while it's been stated that Nika fruit has evaded the world government like it has it's own consciousness. Couldn't the same be said about other god devil fruits?
Couldn't it be that the world government doesn't have any of the god devil fruits??
well, its implied islands had existed before joy boy, and some island kingdoms are from the 1st world.
Yeah, I wanna think it was much larger land masses of islands
Maybe something like this
I mean the walls of wano are newer apparently, but strangely the ocean only went up a little bit compared to height of walls, meanwhile the rain flooded the city.
so how in your view did the water rise?
Probably not the first to think this but the theory about luffy destroying the redline would probably in turn make the all blue wouldt it?
At this point man called themselves gods, evoking their wrath against those who stood against them. Resulting in the use of Uranus. Also seeing this maxim striking upon the tree makes me wanna think they are connected in history.
Yes, the redline is the problem
Yeah it also what devides the sees there for get rid of it to make all blue wear all the different seas meet
Like Pangaea of our past
And I ant talking avatar
Ok listen, the Harley is religious allegory for real world events
The god of the earth, the god of the forest, and the god of the sea are personifications of events that happened (ie god of the earth = emergence of the Red Line, God of the forest = birth of Devil Fruit, and God of the Sea = sinking of the world)
Scopper is gonna be fucking insane
SCOPPER (Ya) HITS THE SAME POSE AS JIRAI(Ya) FROM NARUTO
max what if there was a devil fruit called the ć®ćæć¼ć®ćæć¼ no mi witch is a song fruit that once you start listening to it you can start controlling peoples minds and what if there was a one piece ep where they go to a bar and there was a person playing music in the corner controlling there minds imagen the ultament zoro vs sanji show down
btw ć®ćæć¼ means guitar
Gaban is using the pen-name Louis Arnote. It's pretty much almost certain with the release of this chapter.
This is actually a great theory! I really like it.
The author, Louis Arnote is not just a writer, but seemingly powerful enough to have traversed Little Garden and Elbaph alike. It's no question the left-hand man of the former Pirate King would be able as well, and has done it.
Scopper even mentions himself as an explorer, which is exactly what the author "Louis" regards himself as too.
Scopper even uses aliases such as "Missionary of Love" and "Ya-san", so Louis Arnote may just be another one of them.
(Scopper is very similar to Sanji in this way, with aliases like the infamous "Mr Prince", and wanting to stay lowkey, not gloating off about his notoriety.)
I think that the warning not to overstay could be as straight-forward as heeding people not to stay long and get close to the residents.
Or else, they're at risk of ending up like him, becoming an old man and dying faster than everyone else, while one's newfound family and friends hardly change their age at all, from your perspective as a human.
exactly
i was going to explain myself for anyone interested but you put it perfectly
Arnote called little garden "The land of giants" and that it seemed like a "little garden" to the inhabitants (giants) of the island, so he must have passed through there sometime in the last 100 years, since that's when Dorry and Broggy started fighting.
He evidently reached Elbaf so it means he HAS to have been either very strong or part of the strongest crews in history or both.
As you said, Gaban uses monikers and said he "liked exploring"
The cherry on top to all of this is that while Louis Arnote's quote is being read aloud, the scene randomly (or so we thought) pans to Scopper as well.
He is the very last person we even see, before the chapters ends off on this quote.
I think it will be something like "Don't linger for too long or you will get seduced by the beautiful ladies of the land"
or something like that š
but yes ,good point with the camera showing him while reading the story out loud.
another confirmation is that Gaban would know what happens if you linger for too long
After reading the new chapter the one caught my attention in the mixed race bucanneer is a mix race dropping it random feels like its a hidden hint
well , it was kinda mentioned that they have giant's blood, implying they are mixed
exactly that
strange thing is that Colon doesn't seem to be a "Buccaneer", so what are buccaneers mix of? Giant and what?
What is dodundadas and wotans
Dodundadas, we don't know yet but probably some Tontata mix. Wotans are Fishmen-Giant
there was this one guy on Foxy's crew, when they played the ball game
Wow fishmens and giant
it also mentnioned the sea god
Im curious too about magic. Magic in one piece
i just wanted to say, RIP to the Shiki believers
Shiki? I was a Shiki believer once
What if a Dosundadas is the result of a Tontata and a giant to makeā¦. A normal sized being ?! š±š± thatās the one piece
I mean this is what Oda hinted Kaido was going to look like
i just read 1139. i think itās pretty reasonable to assume that the haki that ya-san felt before meeting luffy belonged to shamrock, right?
am i reading into this correctly?
yes
he sensed the 2 godknights teleporting to the island
when was this
guys Toki Kouzuki, said she was 800+ years old and when Gol D. Roger set foot of laughtail he said people havent set foot on it for 800 years.... does that mean she used to live during the time of war Nika fought?
Oda be dropping clues for years. Latest episode we see the summoning circle on the floor. Only time we've seen this is when goresei appear. But there is one person who has demonstrated similar abilities....basil hawking's. Basil is from the east blue, so my theory based on the latest episode where it states "this magic cones from a foreign country" is that this country is located within the east blue area. That's all the clues I have.
Assuming this could be true it is interesting the ppl we see coming from the east blue, imu could be from the east blue (assuming its him using this power) mural mentions the summoning of demons ect an I believe the 5 elders powers are demonic not devil fruits.
Does anyone else recall any other dark magic within one piece that could give us more clues? If we look at earlier arcs we know the importance of skypia but very little is mentioned in regards of thriller bark. Well, I feel thriller was a sign of what oda has planned for this particular set of skills
Such as the theory that imu contains the 19/20 original Kings- parallel that with luffy absorbing the souls to defeat Moria.
Great theory, unfortunately, the Vivri card for Heracules says that he went with a group as botonists at 23 and was born in the South Blue so it doesn't seem like the gods knights
toki is from void century yes
that much is confirmed
Take another look at Hercules. Oda has given alot of importance to the Strawhats time skip locations: Vegapunk (Frank), Amazon Lily(Luffy), Mihawk in general (we will see about Muggy Kingdom down the line)(Zoro), Weatharia recently with Vegapunk heading there possibly in the future with Haredas being a Birkan(Nami), Ivanokav with the Kuma flashback(Sanji), Tequila Wolf having 3 counter parts(Nico Robin), The recent demon summon circles from the Long Armed Tribe and the Long Arm-Long Leg Tribes conflict(Brook), but Ussop and Chopper have unclear roles for where they went during the time skip. Though given that there are Gorosei for the Enviroment and Agriculture I assume one of those islands will be important
Maybe Heracles about to pull some big greenery move. Going around reviving dead islands that were "buster call"-ed. Like Ohara island, that place is literally dead. And the only other place with such strong forest nature and natural defense as the island he went to is literally not found easily in Paradise part of Grand Line. And the only one's that could turns out to be in the New World part.
So Heracles may revive those islands in some sort of defiance while also relying on that island's power, debatable if that island truly has Forest god Devil fruit. But I believe it does
But if that island is Forest God. Then that island will end up gaining a lot of islands due to this act of Heracles. It will truly be a god's revival, done by two "gods", Heracles(roman mythos) and Usopp(God Usopp).
I think onis/ogres are humans with ancient giant blood. Right now we got the reveal that giants with ancient giant blood have horns. We have been introduced to a half giant-human, giants with ancient giant blood, and Gaban name dropped several hybrid races. All this is ācoincidentallyā happening while we have a cover story involving several horned characters that had no explanation to their horns, all having been shown having the horns before joining the beat pirates (Yamato, page one, ulti and whoās who). Yamato even had that weird conversation with kaido where he mentioned them being āonisā. We recently had a mads cover story happening while we were introduced to stussy and I think this new cover story is relevant to its arc too. We might even see something like the oni pirates soon.
Someone made a comment about the size differences. So the size of the child could be determined by the mother. A human mother having a giant would end up in them dying
Just read the chapter, HOLD THE FK up. Could it be that "he"'s the "man marked by flames"? Nothing short of a fucking giant scar with the shape of a flame could be closer to this
Furthermore, it would absolutely make sense that he'd be the gatekeeper for the 4th poneglyph
this mural was split into 2 or three parts allegedly but it could also be I think the entire timeline of the void century, the second world war, whose actors were behind the first world war that led to destruction and the third war to come.
The ancient kingdom to the right, zunesha sin in the middle and the final battle to the left
https://cdn.onepiecechapters.com/file/CDN-M-A-N/op_1138_h_015.png
I canāt see Gaban being the man marked by flames, he lives on Elbaf so why would he sail around on a black ship causing whirlpools?
Roger only had access of all ponyglip so he must've given one last to one of his own crew.
The missing one was at FMI during Rogers times
Loki backstory theory part 1
think the wg took advantage of Harold's idealism until he became aware of what they were doing. Then someone in the wg with possession powers took over Harold, maybe it's the knight that is being called in. The incident that led to Harold being killed was Jarul and Loki discovering that the wg was planning something, leading to a great battle in the castle. It resulted in Jarul being stabbed in the head, Loki dealing the blow that would ultimately kill his father, and all but those two being slaughtered by the possessed Harold. The knight possessing him fled through the circle.
As Harold laid dying, he pleaded with the two not to tell the truth of what happened today, or the third world would never come to pass. Jarul and Loki agreed not to talk about the wg's involvement as it would lead to Elbaph starting war too early. Jarul wanted to frame himself as Harold's killer, but Loki felt it wasn't worth protecting the reputation of an already loathed man like himself. Loki ate the fruit in front of everyone and proclaimed he killed his father for the fruit to become the sun god who will destroy the world before escaping to sea
Loki backstory part two
Loki sought out the aid of the Roger Pirates, who likely visited Elbaph over 24 years ago, to plead for them to aid in protecting Elbaph from going to war too early. He was especially friendly with Shanks and Buggy, who were of an age with him as he was in his 30s, from 10 to 13 in giant years. Those two were like older brothers to him. He ventured for 8 years and faced countless battles that earned him his bounty of 2 billion.
He befriended Lola and Chiffon when he traveled to Tottoland, fell in love with Lola, admitted his love to her, asked her to marry him, and she kindly rejected him. While he remains friends with the twins to the present, Big Mom saw an opportunity to take Elbaph with little effort. She lied to him that Lola had a change of heart, and the wedding was set into motion. Yet when Chiffon was brought to him, he knew from her words that she was forced into pretending to be Lola and he was enraged with BM for doing this to his friend. He offered Chiffon to escape from Tottoland, but she didn't want Big Mom to do worse. Loki escaped BM and Elbaph was given more reason to hate her for trying to take over Elbaph with the murderer of their king.
After 8 years of trials and tribulations, he encountered Shanks. He talked to Shanks about the truth of what happened 8 years ago. He told him that his dream of destroying the world was only half of his dream. Loki saw himself as nothing but a destroyer as he was told he was a curse by most of the people in Elbaph. Lokiās own mother died protecting him from warriors trying to prevent the prophecy from happening. He lost any chance of being a brother to Hajrudin after he said he murdered Harold.
Loki backstory part three
Yet Loki still had people who knew the truth of what he wanted and the kindness behind his harsh cover. Jarul was kind to Loki because Jarul wanted to redeem himself after almost killing a child. King Harold treasured Loki as his child who he loved unconditionally, even though he knew the prophecy would happen one day. Harold entrusted his dream to Loki as he saw the good in his cursed son. Harold dreamed of the world in the mural that saw people of all backgrounds fighting together in a battle that would destroy the world to bring about a new world that they could all share in. Loki wants to destroy this world, so that the next world can be born.
I wish Ace will come back to life and doughnut Akainu
So Shanks aided Loki by having a fight to prove Shanks can protect Elbaph for the next 6 years. Shanks captured Loko and brought him chained to Elbaph. Shanks gained the loyalty of Elbaph and was renowned for defeating the mighty Loki. Thus Shanks was seen as one of the four emperors of the sea.
just noticed these Xs. I know the rainbow bridge is also called the burning bridge. Although they are different forms, I believe they are a similar fundamental substance (or live energy.) Imagine you had a rainbow bridge going to the moon. The planet WAS being harvested, and why we see people loading energy into ships, it could float up to the moon (but not true space travel.) Some force on earth instead turned the rainbow bridge into a fiery piece of molten lava and it came crashing down forming the red line. It then hardened. That is why eventually the moon people needed balloons to come down, they didn't have technology or the power to get a ship together to come down with.
there's a theory that buggy's fruit will awaken and he will be able to split blackbeard's personality, thus allowing luffy to defeat him
Hey guys I just joined, I watch one piece theory videos a lot but I donāt see anybody mention this often, could somebody explain this or tell me if Iām not remembering this correctly.
When luffy fought the spring guy before skypiea, didnāt luffy and zoro refer to Blackbeard as a ātheyā referring to multiple people inside his body?
Also, in alabasta, I donāt know if Iām remembering this correctly, but didnāt zoro fall into a hole, and find a ponaglyph of whatever itās called down there?
During brooks time skip he interrupted a summoning circle for Satan
Lmao that makes me laugh to this day
Vivi is the control for the ancient weapon Uranus, just like Shirahoshi is poseidon where she can control the sea kings. Uranus in greek mythology was the primordial personification of the sky. So itās a weapon used from the sky(Enelās weapon ship was the foreshadowing of Uranus, destroying islands from the sky). Uranus is theorized to be the weapon that wiped out Lulusia, with it being activated by Vegapunkās creation of the Mother Flame, but the question is what originally could activate the weapon? Imu has pictures of Shirahoshi (Poseidon), Blackbeard and Luffy (the most powerful pirate crews currently that are both safe bets to get control of the warship Pluton), but Imu has a particular interest in Vivi, which they also have a picture of and wants. Why randomly out of the blue does Imu want Vivi? Itās because Imu knows the prophecies are coming to light of a new war, so Imu needs the person that can activate the weapon that they have a hold of currently. The Mother Flame is currently incomplete, so it canāt fully power it than the original source could. I think the big hint of evidence that Vivi possibly has the control and power of Uranus is during the climax of Alabasta. Luffy just defeated Crocodile which gave Vivi a sign of hope that she never felt before, something that most likely occurred to her ancestor, Lilli who felt the hope from Joyboy many years ago. And just like that alabasta starts raining again, it wasnāt just some of coincidence, it wasnāt due to Crocodile somehow controlling the weather, it was Viviās new found hope of Luffy that caused the area to rain. Nobody knows this fact other than Imu himself, but Vivi was truly the person who stopped the civil war of Alabasta, she has control of the sky

the nose guard is a very good shout, very rare design trait for oda and itās definitely interesting loki and kid both have one, even if itās for different reasons (i read kidās goggles as welder goggles to play along w his fruit, whereas loki just has a war helmet on)
-
oda expanding more and more on kidās background is very interesting because it shows heās put a ton of thought into it, even if he doesnāt have time to show it in the manga proper. we wonāt ever get a full kid flashback i donāt think, but one intersecting with loki? the fleshing out of his background can definitely be whatās behind that.
so far as sizing, whatās interesting with loki is that i donāt think heās a standard giant size either. road implies Harald was much bigger than most other elbaf giants, odaās been drawing jarul as towering above the other giants, i think lokiās the same way (itās always hard to tell w oda perspective tho). so even if kid had met loki, heād then probably notice stansen is smaller, and then heād have the question of āis that a giant or not?ā because he doesnāt have a clear idea what the maximum height of a giant is, heās seen heights across the spectrum but doesnāt know their upper limit.
jarul and jorul are listed in the wci vivre cards as being around 70 feet tall, same heights as dorry and brogy, but when weāre reintroduced to jarul heās literally towering over brogy, looks easily 100 ft tall.
and then some smaller giants are closer to 50 feet (oimo) or even smaller iirc (i think thereās a giant around 40 ft but canāt remember which), so itās truly a spectrum and kidās confusion seeing haccha def makes sense.
When it comes to human One Piece characters who have the nose guard, there happens to be only one I found. It's Zoro!
And not iust any Zoro in fact, but it's dedicated to his current outfit, which was a costume specifically created by an Elbaph giant, just for this arc.
It seems very telling that an Elbaph orientated outfit finally has goggles with a nose guard for the first time when it comes to human OP characters (besides Kid), right?
Another design similarity I noticed is how they both wear a mini-skirt thingie (for lack of a better term), both with 3 buttons on each square.
For other Supernova, there were so many hints to their future characters in the story, even just in the pre-timeskip.
- Without us knowing at the time, Law quoted Corazon about "D." always attracting a storm.
- Him defying Celestial Dragons and freeing Jean Bart alluded to his D.
- His jolly roger was akin to Doflamingo, which also explains his interest in checking out one of his slave auction shops.
Then, for Bonney:
-
She sat on tables and ate like a little kid, wore lipstick like a kid, and showed off her real form towards Zoro when saving him from Charloss.
-
Her crew was an odd band of only humble-looking males, who later get a backstory to divulge on how they were merely fisherman from her kingdom.
-
Even Apoo had a line of amazement at seeing an ancient zoan fruit for the first time, with X Drake's transformation. This dinosaur amazed pirate then went on to join the Beast Pirates.
So you have to wonder, what was planted for Kid? All that's come to fruition so far is how he mentioned the Yonko obviously, and then went and took one down. But for one of the most spotlighted Supernova at the time, I surmise there's even more hints planted to his future that we aren't aware about. I think the key lies in his speech about Celestial Dragons, personally. Perhaps "Scum rule the world and give birth to more scum" is a line he took from Loki?
No matter how destructive Loki was, I don't think that stops him from going to a Blue with weaker pirates and figures, such as the South. Kid's island was riddled with gangs and conflicts, it makes sense why Loki would want to check out such a chaotic place and have a piece of it too.
Mihawk went all the way to the tamest sea, East Blue, just to kill time and hunt down a no-name pirate such as Krieg. Roger, a known pirate that can be vicious towards enemies or those who badmouth his friends was "randomly" in the South Blue himself on multiple occaisons, to have first met and bonded with Portgas Rouge.
No amount of hatred people hold for Kid can convince me Loki couldn't have feasibly gone to South Blue, to have met him. With such a long voyage at sea, let's just wait and see what Loki's backstory holds
Shamrock is Bonney dad and the one who kidnapped ginney I feel he is the one as Bonney male form looks like him and shanks also he has plans to kidnap the giant kids so Bonney being one of the strong ones there will try to stop him but I do believe heās the dad as his father also was part of the same science š§Ŗ department who experimented on Bonney mom and also later became the head scientist. The foreshadow and information is all there and I do believe this is true
Serious theory: What if shanks let the sea beast eat his arm so luffy could recognize him apart from Shamrock. Thanks
well, i would think his scare does the same... but you might be right
If we go by the logic that the sun god in the Harley texts is Nika, joyboy and Luffy. Then the same could apply for the other gods. Could the earth god and sea god represent the same thing then? With there being a great flood during the void century, when the sea god is first mentioned, what was once earth then became sea. One could then assume that the individual that would have been the āearth godā for that era would instead be remembered as āthe sea godā.
I mean Imu was able to direct the motherflame and use it to blow up an island. How much more control does he need?
And Vivi didnt cause it to rain, or at least I am not sure. Wasn't smoker and dance powder involved?
pretty sure they captured crocs ship
The poor village that summoned Brook - Namakura
The circle of summoning has been introduced 6 hundreds chapters ago . So this is not out of the blue that Oda just invented like many anti fan wants to claim
did yall read the theory that the whale in harley text is actually the whale on top of Zounesha
theres a manga panel kinda backing it up too
Could be Whitebeard's ship too, The Moby Dick
kidās entire outfit post timeskip is elbaf adjacent imo, just kid color coded. the furry back cape and half shirt definitely gives oda viking vibes
i think with kid itās interesting that we just havenāt seen much of him heās pretty much just showing up in the background and then featured in wano as part of the next generation overtaking kaidou. then the first thing thatās just his and his alone is getting his chest blown up by shanks and his ship destroyed by elbaf giants. pair this with his harsh smile when approaching elbaf in the first place, and you wonder what it has in store with him. a connection with loki seems to make lots of sense, since dory and brogy at least donāt know him. once the other giants learn he beat big mom thoughā¦
i think the most important thing we see from kid is his auction house appearance. law is there to spite doflamingo, and ends up spiting the CDs as well. as a D should. what i see from kid is that he has a role, a specific relationship with luffy as a rival where both inspire something in the other. i think weāll see that in elbaf, and loki makes sense as a way towards it
Question
When Kidd said he needed to go see the man with the burn mark(s).. Was talking about Saul or Scopper? Cause scopper, in the newest release, has a scar that favors a burn mark.
Bit of a stretch here, but if you take Kuma's Ursus shock but add a second paw to it visually, you make the symbol of the sun with 8 circles around it.
Guys
Ace luffy sabo
Black beard 1 black beard 2 black beard 3
He doesn't know exactly who the person is, but the man with the burn scar who he is referring to is likely Scopper since Scopper knew exactly where the final road poneglyph was (fishman island) and its a stretch to assume Saul has it.
But since Saul and Scopper both live in Elbaf its highly likely that they've met or know each other already. But now since Scopper literally has a scar in the shape of a flame I have to assume it's him
They look nothing alike except their face
i asked chatgpt who is the third mythical creature among griffin and cerberus. "It sounds like you're referring to a specific trio of mythical creatures. One well-known grouping that includes Griffin and Cerberus often also includes the Minotaur as the third creature." shamrock is cerberus and shanks is griffin. This is confirmed too so what if figarland garling is minotaur
Maybe but the boar design of Warcury is pretty close to that already
yeah but griffin and cerberus are in their swords so minotaur sword probably. This also probably confirms the theory of sword being able to eat fruits
Well, we knew about the fruits into weapons idea ages ago. I thought you meant Garling's devil form would be Minotaur. Misunderstanding. Cerebus is being listed like the Gorosei's form so we don't even know if it's Devil Fruit or powers from Imu.
i personally dont think garling will have a devil form, or maybe he will because all the gorosei have it. Maybe his devil form will be like Nusjuro, lower body of minotaur and the upperbody is his normal body but a little enlarged. But i think only his sword having the power makes more sense
He'll most likely have a devil form. Just having a sword won't be enough seeing as the devil form makes them more or less unbeatable minus crazy Haki waves. He has been chosen by Imu so he'll have to match the others. He may have the sword devil form and human devil form. Nusjuro seems like the only actual fighter along with Garling, the rest are just guys with crazy forms from the look of it. They can't "fight" if you get what i mean. Unless there's some hybrid form
does the theorie of loki being a old emperor like thangible ??
yea you're right
I have a theory about Louis Arnot's warning to not stay too long on elbaf. I believe that 1 day for giant is roughly equivalant to 3 human days. It would be the reason why giants take 3 full days to drink and celebrate a victory. I think in elbaf, time is going faster than the straw hats think. By the end of the arc, I think things will have moved far quicker than the previous arcs.
I have a theory for Copper Gaban, since he is known as the Mountain Eater mostly for the use of his type of Haki to defend Roger, which could resemble the same Haki technique used by Emet's Knot to defeat the Five Elders. He is going to teach this new Haki to Luffy, which will be a defensive type.
its a mystery tbh
smoker denied using the dance powder his exact words when hina asked him were " dont be idiotic i know what is and isnt illegal. what would i gain by willingly violating the king of alabasta's judgement, to never use this powder under any circumstances"
its basically oda making the reason for the rain in alabasta still be open to more development so yes it could have been vivi as well
Yeah, it seems like smoker wanted to help people, but kind of skirted issue when presses. We see marines do it often.
90% it was smoker, but I have to leave room it was something else.
I think the craziest part is that there is no evidence so far that suggests crocodile is not luffys mom
Lmao
Not so much a theory but a prediction
Lodestar will have a cowboy theme
Laugh Tale with have a classic pirate theme
āa Jew who taunted Jesus on the way to the Crucifixion was then cursed to walk the Earth until the Second Coming.ā Could this be connected to Zuneshas crime? https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wandering_Jew
āThe second comingā may be Joyboys battle with Imu or the world government
I found a theory that seemed really good to me but it comes with an image and I can't send any. Remember the beasts of the Florian Triangle? They look exactly like the back of the fire serpent in the mural in chapter 1138.
you mean this? #manga-theories message
Exactly
I start to believe that Oda, even tho he might have good idea of what the mural was supposed to represent, most likely he injected there a few "red herrings" to spawn fan theories
That might be true, but Oda is known not to do things just for the sake of it, and I can't imagine him making false leads.
But I imagine fan theories making theories about things that Oda only drew as decoration, and that really have no meaning but us fans get very overthinking.
That's true, so maybe it's more that us the fans sometimes see connections anywhere just to spawn more theories, like here's one example
at this point im 100% sure imu can control minds

i nthe final battle against imu, imu will control the straw hats's mind making them attack eachother, what will save them? shanks?
it will be a fight similar to "everyone vs tot musica" except 20x bigger and with characters from the entire manga
idk what that means but if chopper gets killed im that fight i will cry too much but if he manages to revert imu's df or smth then i will be happy for the rest of my life
@split prawn you could be onto something
https://www.reddit.com/r/OnePiece/comments/1iky4mk/could_dragons_tatoo_be_related_to_the_birkans/ what do you think of this guys
dragon's tatoo look similar tot he one in the original bilka
what are the most intresting theories you saw about dragon and his link to bilkans or skypea
someone speculated on reddit long ago that what made luffy stand up fast against kaido is the laugh of people in the festival nearby
maybe the laughs of people around him can strengthen him too
maybe it go beyond his own laugh
lodestar could be "road to stars" pronounced by changing the r to l similar to zoro and ROAD of the giant piraces
maybe that island can send them to space and that's where the final battle will happen
https://www.reddit.com/r/OnePiece/comments/1hl9chc/could_he_be_the_father/ i did that theory way before he reveal his face
it got a lot of dislikes at the time
I donāt think Oda had Shamrock in mind for 25 years
Laughter version of Spirit Bomb?
Yeah man I feel a lot of the Bonney theories most of the people who got dislikes were right if you see some theories I made months ago same here but this is another one I feel is right too
i did a speculation on the sword of elbaf being the one used by nika he made it bigger and it stayed that way similar to how the animals in long long island got elongated and stayed that way
i think that one is right too. in few weeks they will start saying it even though they hard downvoted it
I hate reddit š but yeah a lot of those theories make sense nika has a foot print in all of it and I do feel Bonney will play a role in this arc again I mean she wouldnāt be there for no reason
The kids being kidnapped and her potentially being kidnapped and the war starting that way makes sense
i feel like this will be one of the best arcs because it connect a lot of characters introduced early in the serie.
collon will definitly be taken as hostage and we will see how gaban will react
and there is one theory that could come true
imu can kidnap nami through the magical circle
oda made a cover page showing a monster that look like imu taking nami away
it was drawn in a game style
The magic circle seems to work like flying raijin
But colon and Bonney being taken or Nami and robin
i think imu can use the magical circle to grab someone while staying in marijoa. gaban said he felt that weird haki similar to how zoro said it in egghead.
the haki that sent them there is that of imu not shamrock or the gorosei
Also even akainu not killing Bonney
nami because oda made a drawing showing imu taking nami prisonner while luffy is fighting him
wait i try to find it
here
someone made a theory about that years ago
I heard a theorie once she could be imu daughter
Or something to do with Imu
I mean he had Boa on his mind for years before introducing her. Fishman Island, Vegapunk, and probably Imu too.
I wish more people had this mindset when coming up with theories lol
Yeah but not in chapter 1
Its not Odas writing style unless you have fully fleshed out characters before introducing characters in advance
He might have. Id find it weird if he didnt have Shanks backstory fleshed out before hand given everything we know about Shanks
Guys what if the X scar on luffys chest is related to laugh tale because the road poneglyphs make an X???? (Joke)
This is the level of theory half the people here come up with
oda said One piece was only gonna last about 5 years, he showed shamrock in 907
Ironically this joke theory runs parallels with my theory of what the physical one piece treasure actually is
š ššš
Self own

why do i feel like the king punch from dressrosa and the knot being untied with joyboys haki are connected
thats my theory thanks for reading
Also, remember it wasnt just Dragon who didnt grab her from Mariejois it was also Kuma who didnt. That "certain celestial dragon" was a Holy Knight, so they're strong and guarded by some of the strongest people in verse but also potentially not even in Mariejois š
Yeah thatās true it makes sense as casualties is the reason why the white beards didnāt save oden
That speculation being based off the idea that theyre related to the MMBF and also saturn only said "that fellow in the holy land" I feel like Holy land is meant to sound synonymous with Mariejois, but wouldnt the entire redline be their holy land? Also, you're telling me that mariejois and pangea castle are the only settlements they have on that entire continent? And where were the holy knights when the revs attacked? Why was Garling only able to show up to kill Mjosgard? Are they just far away?
I know a lot of people are using the "you came a long way" line from the gorosei in chapter 907 to mean that he wasn't shamrock but shanks the whole time, but it could also be telling us that the holy knights are far away
Looks like the same slice as on shanks eye. Blackbeard got a twin holy Knight too? š¤š¤£
Or did shamrock infiltrate the throne room and frame loki?
There was an old theory blackbeard had the Cerberus DF, shamrocks sword could be a clone of the fruit infused with a sword. Leaving the same damage we see in the throne room....could this also be linked to how blackbeard managed to strike shanks? Is there another BB lookalike about using the demon teleportation circle allowing him to pop up an strike shanks. This would open up a link between blackbeard and the 5 elders, maybe that's why Laffitte was able to visit.
Looks just like a Cerberus sword cut
I thunk gaban is stronger than an admiral or a commander and will give a real fight to luffy, not like kizaru
In his prime sure, I can't see him being stronger than an admiral now
it's the same level as rayleigh, rayleigh is currently stronger than an admiral
In odenās flashback the island the WB pirates visit before picking up BB was snowy with huge mushrooms.
Could this be tied to what they say about BB never sleeping and his visit to Drum Island, the snowy island which the mushroom shaped devil fruit?
I don't think so; Rayleigh was visibly getting tired against Kizaru, whereas Kizaru seemed fine
Probably yeah, seeming as "people on snow islands don't sleep" was brought up in the same arc that Blackbeard was first mentioned
rayleigh was worrying for the mugiwara, he looked in their direction, kizaru literally said "we need to prepare to arrest you", which means kizaru can't beat rayleigh in 1v1, or kizaru would arrest him
Yeah but I'm talking about how we see Rayleigh doing the "huff huff" that shows a character is getting tired
Saying he needs to be more prepared to arrest him doesn't necessarily mean he can't beat him 1v1, you have to remember Rayleigh also has the option of just escaping. He doesn't need to fight until someone wins
And the fact that Rayleigh is getting some respect off his name, same as when Blackbeard fled from him but Rayleigh himself said he would've lost there
no, if rayleigh is weaker than kizaru, rayleigh can't escape
Thereās something off though. According to his vivre card, BB was born on Shade Port in the Grandline. If heās truly from a snowy place, then why is kid teech on a snowless island when he begs to join WB? Is snowy mushroom island Shade Port or is the island he was picked up at Shade Port?
blackbeard escaped because rayleigh is too strong for be beaten easily
Why not
Law and Bepo escaped the entire BB crew, including Van Augur who can literally teleport
because kizaru is fast
Not faster than teleporting
bb isn't fast
BB can also pull people toward him
rayleigh can't teleport
Augur can
but not under the water
Not sure, but if he is Xebec's son which I believe, its possible he was born elsewhere but traveled
but doesn't work under
We've seen that they do with Oven's heat fruit I'm p sure
Iād like to point out that the Rain God is most likely gonna be whatever Dragons devil fruit is. Especially if the Rain comes before the Sun. As in Dragon coming before Luffy in their family. As well as luffy being his Son/Sun.
To add to this after he saved Luffy in Loguetown several Storm phenomenon occurred with a heavy Rain following.
Dragon knowing the history of One Piece would make perfect sense if Ohara were his breaking point from the government, even associating with Vegapunk who studied all of Oharas knowledge extensively on the Ancient Kingdom.
This man also had his allies placed as strategically as Roger has now in pre-ts but off unfortunate luck lmfao. Kuma in Sabaody, Ivankov and Inazuma.
Just picking up a lot of subtle things through the story
Also Buggy is Xebecs kid

3 people are smiling in volume cover 105, 2 of them know D members, Luffy and Teach, while Buggy is also smiling, subtle foreshadowing if iāve ever seen it.
With Shanks being 100% confirmed a Celestial Dragon, him sharing a parallel to Buggy on Rogerās ship by being Xebecs son seems very plausible.
Luffy and teach smile all the time though already
Hell, all of these characters smile most of the time in the story
This can be a silly though. I think loki is next sth crew mate. At least, he is the next alliance for luffy
There won't be any more crewmates. We're in the 2nd arc of the final saga of the story
I agree loki will be an ally though. Possibly more of a neutral relationship to luffy, but definitely not a villain
i still believe w vivi joining , she'll be a major part of the war
Not sure if it was here. But hereās my toilet thought.
Thereās always been two captain for giant pirates. Jarul and Jorul, Dorry and Broggy
Now itās just Hajrudin for now, but his co captain will be another prince Loki
Thanks for listening to my podcast
Co captain of giant pirates together with Hajrudin. As my theory stated above
Maybe in the future. Dorry and broggy still are the captains for now. Plus hajrudin has his own crew currently

Arenāt D&B retiring? And Hajrudin is the one leading new generation?
There's the Giant Warrior pirates captained by dorry and broggy, they have oimo and Kashi and all the other dudes we saw on egghead.
Hajrudin is the captain of the NEW Giant warrior pirates with rodo, gerd, Goldberg, and stansen
Ah true
Still I believe Loki will be co captain
And he was actually framed by Jarul
He wanted to frame Loki, as he believes he is responsible for Linlin killing Jorul
Assumption/theory hajrudin named the crew the new giant warrior pirates because dorry and broggy were assumed dead so they were rebooting that crew for the new gen
I feel like loki will end up dying somehow idk why
Something related to starting ragnarok or his death prevents ragnarok from completing.
I still wonder what his DF is
My 0.1% of happening theory
Is that there are sun gods. Like in Elbaf beliefs. One good - Nika, and the other one who is destroyer, who will be Loki
Would be interesting of oda went with that fruit being the actual gum gum fruit that loki ate
And that's why he thinks he is the sun god
Thatās my 10% of happening theory
Stretchy body like Nika, but actually luffy ate that one.
But I think it will be a Norse mythology related power. High chance of it being the world serpent jormungandr
Smaller chance of it being fenrir
Imo
Yeah but we saw that 2 years ago and loki has been chained there for 6 years
So it can't be that
I know I know. Itās just me having hope to eventually seeing what it was
I hope we get a Florian triangle explanation
I fear it's oda just adding some "grand line unpredictability" world building for fun with no planned origin
Which would be a bummer
Florian triangle was first shown in 2007. So almost 18 years.
So letās assume monster was shown a year later
Or something like āoh. That was just Umibozu familyā
Probably lol
So um does this theory have some weight?
No
Thanks to you putting attention onto all this outfit stuff, I thought about something.
When Luffy, Law, and Kid finally reappear and begin the trek to Onigashima, they arrive with revamped outfits.
These are especially important outfits, because the ones Luffy and Law chose are symbols of the ones who mentored them in the past.
Luffy has a black cloak akin to Shanks, and Law dons a feathery cloak as respect to Corazon.
Kid however, is the only one that retains his original design, without a single change.
Of course, we could take this as meaning Kid has no "saviour" of his own unlike the other two, or even a past figure he respected so much to want to wear something as a resemblance of them.
Or, we can take this outfit outcome as meaning something else:
What if Kid's outfit, (particularly since the timeskip) already IS fashioned in a way to homage the important individual from his own past? https://imgur.com/a/9jzdToA
Just an interesting thought I came up with, that's all I have to add.
wouldn't it be black maria? they have the same horns
Yamato's mother is most likely Kurozumi Higurashi
Everyone, I have a question. I don't know if people talked about it or not, please tell me. Why hasn't there been a giant as a yonko, given the strength Loki's devil fruit?
what does lokis df have to do with it, it was held by elbaph royalty for like 200 years
i wonder about the symbolism of luffy and law donning the capes of their mentors when theyāre finally ready to face yonkou, whereas kidās always had his cape in post ts and been fighting yonkou the whole time. he learned something different from loki
maybe he didn't have strong enough subbordinates
law explained just before dressrosa that what make a yonko isn't just his individual power but his connections + the army working under him
the missing kuja empress was revealed in the last sbs
she don't look anything like yamato
shes not the mother of the boa sisters
has there been any talks of the striped whale? Blackbeard's ship was a striped whale, the whale on Zou was a striped whale, and the whale in the mural is a striped whale. In fact the whale in the mural has people riding it like a ship similarly to whitebeard and his ship.
Zunesha Whale: https://imgur.com/a/PFqW7xq
Whitebeard ship: https://imgur.com/a/TKKMVqx
Mural: https://imgur.com/a/PXgIk1O
not letting me send images but this is what im referencing
-# Upon reading the recent chapter again, there's something I still don't understand.
-# Why were people assuming that the mystery person could be Shiki.? I get that the hair was similar, but if you think about it, it just... doesn't feel like something he would do..??
-# Like... with how Shiki was in Strong World, would anyone think he would just.. turn a new leaf all of a sudden and fall in love with a Giant at some point..?? It just doesn't feel like his character to me for some reason
-# it could just be me, but I really don't know why anyone would think the mystery person could be Shiki besides the hair..
the outfit and hair was similar to the depictions we have for him, that plus the coverstory we had of him back in the day showed his hair was blond (90% sure it was a fan colouration) being the same as shiki as well as the fact that hardcore fans are just very curious to know what the guys up to after escaping impel down and fighting garp and sengoku
Also striped whale fountain in chapter 8 orange town, so definitely special with something about striped whales
Makes sense, tbh
Whitebeard's ship was destroyed at marineford by akainu.
@cosmic ermine yea but dont you find it odd that his ship was a striped whale, the whale on Zhou was a striped whale, The whale in the mural where 2 people are riding it a striped whale, the whale in orange town fountain was a striped whale. Something about a Striped whale is not just a coincedance . Whales are a big part of the story like laboon but a striped whale in particular especially in the mural has something more to it
The red poneglyph was inside the striped whale too
The only whale thing that I think will have some important role in the story endgame will probably be the whale statue in Zou. Can't really say exactly how, but my theory is that it is related to the whale in the mural. All other whale imagery is coincidence in my opinion
The world is mostly ocean after all, theres lots of whales.
i agree with the Zou, definitely something but knowing Oda is it reallly just a coincedance? like the fountain in chapter 8 orange town, out of allllll the sea animals or fountain designs, a striped whale?
White beards ship being a striped whale and the mural 2 people riding a striped whale like a ship
Joyboy probably (more than likely based on the mural) had a whale ally, and either the statue in Zou IS the whale thats been petrified somehow (unlikely) or its just a statue honoring it
yea definitely, maybe the whale was actually Moby Dick? we know the ship is named moby dick but we also know the story of moby dick outside of one piece is a whale
who bit the leg off some captain
That would mean whitebeard knew all this lore and named his ship in honor of that
And he didnt learn about that story until he already owned and named the moby dick
so its not likely at all
yea maybe that part is a little far fetched, but one of the strongest pirates having a striped whale ship and the mural having 2 people riding a striped whale and the zhou whale being the same type just seems like there is something buried there about it
wonder what itll be
I totally agree! And it seems to be a flying whale, which isn't very ordinary at least for us
https://onepiece.fandom.com/wiki/Noah?file=Noah_Infobox.png
take a look at this, does this even look like a striped whale??
like why that design for under the ship
The whale statue in Zou seems out of place in a kingdom filled with non-aquatic themed people (minks). So I think its safe to say Oda did that deliberately to make us question that
yea that for sure
but for every other thing resembling a striped whale i also dont think its a coincedance
Not enough info to make any real assumptions based on it except the mural picture now
Possibly yeah
Maybe that flying whale was the result of a devil fruit, and ironically this whale couldn't go underwater and ended up flying lol
lmao imagine, that would be pretty funny
but the whale needs water to breathe so idk
Rain will do š š
ah... maybe thats why the elephant trying to water him
homie dont know whale been dead
Anything is possible with Oda so yeah lol
whatever the case, something is definitely connected about the striped whale, why whitebeard modeled it after a whale no idea, even noah's underside looks like a whale
And even having Laboon so early in the story...maybe it wasn't just a coincidence, I'm not saying this whale on the mural was Laboon ancestor, but maybe Oda wanted to suggest something, he frequently does that
I think its as simple as saying whales had a role in the void century war
yea for sure, but i definitly would say 100% that whale is not related to laboons because its an entire different type of whale
but yea as rob said
def some sort of role
Yes I know and I agree! i've seen people editing that mural panel trying to figure out who is who (haha I'm so funny xD) and for that whale they write "LABOON" š
wonder if it was an actual whale named moby dick lol
and maybe whitebeard heard it somewhere and was like huh cool i want a ship like that
We could theorize that Joyboy could have had that whale as a friend in the same way we know he was friends with Zunesha. Not out of the realm of possibility
He has large friends lol
The mural is so confusing to me
Emeth
And friends with Emeth...his crew was definitely special!
what ever happened to joyboy being a giant? with the giant straw hat that inu had
did that get disproven
technically no
I used to joke saying Joyboy's crew was the ultimate cartoon crew with Bugs Bunny and all š but after that mural, I think I was closer to the truth than I thought
def makes you wonder what direction this would go into
like how did roger get the star hat originally
we saw the silohuette of joyboy talking to Emeth but because Emeth is giant sized its not really possible to scale Joyboy properly. Joyboy could still be large
and why was the a huge one before
i mean who dos roger gst his from, and the man before him, and the 20.people before that
yea thats what im wondering
wow my grammar is great on my phone
yeah i mean theres 800 years of people passing down straw hats lol
what if joy boy was like yo i cant give you my straw hat to emeth but i can make you one?
same way ace made one for oars
and when emeth attacked the holy city
he dropped his hat
Maybe that giant hat is "dangerous", Imu wouldn't keep a souvenir of his most hated foe while he's been erasing everything he could about the Void Century and Nika, if he kept this hat, it's certainly to prevent something
emeth did attack the holy city right
could have been his hat then, Ace created one for Oars , cant see why joyboy wouldnt create one for emeth especially since they seemed close
Oh by the way, just something I realized while reading 1139 again today. The magic circle in the room chamber is actually pretty big, don't you think? So big that only Rodo noticed at first, because he had a global view as a giant. What does this imply? This circle is way too big for just Shamrock and Gunko to teleport there, right? What do you think of the possibility this circle was drawn (or created) by a giant during the time Harald fought Loki or even before?
I'm saying that because I think something weird happen with Harald. I'm not sure if he was such a good king as most people in Elbaf thought he was. There's something shady about him, and I think there was probably a traitor in Elbaph during his reign, or maybe he was really very close to the WG to the point that he wanted to normalize the relationships between Elbaf and the world.
Also, making Elbaf a territory with no warriors was a way to weaken Elbaf I think. Maybe Harald wasn't a pacifist for no reason, or maybe someone around him was giving him advice on this matter.
i think it's that big because the one who drew is a traitor among giants "jarul"
jarul drew it for them to teleport to elbaf. and as saul said giants can't read books because the drawing is too small so his only option was to make the circle bigger to be able to precisely draw the letters on it
yall
hear me out now
but i got a crazy ass theory
its called: "the croco mom theory"
Earth god, Forest God, Sea God
Also, when looking at the helmet of the Earth Boss there, realized the japanese RIsing sun flag has 16 rays, just like Uranus.
Interesting if you dig too deep, you find the Earth god
Why does Kuma's devil fruit give him paw pads if the power is to repel things
Those two aspects of the devil fruit dont seem to make sense together
where is this from?
Gedatsu's Accidental Blue-Sea Life - A fallen Birkan works with a human to dig deep in the earth, encountering some challengers as they dig deeper
damn, tought it was another anime, only recently started reading the manga
yes, Gedatsu becomes a boss 'god', but realizes he is trapped in a building as basically a head administrator. All the power and he is stuck in a castle.
is the new shamrock summoning circle just the new birdcage?
Do ya think the nickname "Mountain Eater" was on purpose because Gaban is married to an Giant. š
That would be hilarious
Only hope of truly finding out is in a future SBS probably
What is in the egg
Oda has been consistently drawing it on the oro jackson for over a decade
I think Luffy is gonna go gear 5 and punch imu through the red line like arlong and destroy it that would be so cool
am I allowed to post a long theory here?
ok I have a long one
I've been thinking about a theory that could explain One Pieceās biggest mysteriesāthe Void Century, the war against Joy Boy, the Red Line, and why the World Government fears the return of the Sun God Nika.
What if the Moon isnāt just a celestial body, but an ancient machine designed to regulate the worldās balance? And what if Joy Boyās Devil FruitāHito Hito no Mi, Model: Nikaāwas the only power capable of activating it?
If this is true, then the entire war between the Ancient Kingdom and the 20 Kings wasnāt just about dominanceāit was about controlling a global energy system.
But what if the One Piece itself isnāt a key, a treasure, or even a weapon? What if itās just an instruction manual explaining how to restart the Moonās lost system?
Could the Moon Be a Dormant Machine That Needs to Be Restarted?
In real life, the Moon controls the tides and stabilizes Earthās rotation.
If the Ancient Kingdom had advanced technology, they might have modified or built the Moon as a planetary regulator.
This would explain why lost civilizations like Old Wano, Shandora, and possibly even other landmasses ended up underwaterābecause once the Moon was shut down, ocean levels rose uncontrollably.
The Grand Lineās chaotic weather and unnatural sea currents could also be side effects of the Moonās deactivation.
If the Moon wasnāt destroyed but simply powered down, then someone needs to turn it back onāand that might be Luffyās true destiny.
Did Roger Laugh Because the One Piece Was Just a Manual?
Roger expected the greatest treasure in history, but when he arrived at Laugh Tale, he found something completely unexpected.
What if the One Piece was just a piece of paperāa set of instructions left by Joy Boy on how to restart the Moonās system?
Roger laughed because he realized the world had been fighting over an instruction manual.
He knew he was too early to use itāhe didnāt have the Sun Godās powerābut he understood that someone in the future would.
Wouldnāt it be the ultimate irony if the most legendary treasure in the world was just a guide on how to fix the planet?
Is the World Government Hiding the Truth Because They Failed?
The 20 Kings originally tried to steal Joy Boyās power to control the Moon.
But when they couldnāt take the Sun Godās power, they shut the Moon down instead.
This caused sea levels to rise, weather patterns to break, and civilizations to be lost.
To cover up their failure, they erased all records of the Moonās true function, built the Red Line, and divided the world into four oceans.
Could the World Governmentās biggest fear be that someone will read the instructions and restart what they tried to erase?
If Luffy Uses the One Piece, What Happens?
The Moon reactivates, restoring ocean balance.
The Red Line collapses, making the world one unified ocean.
The Grand Lineās unnatural weather disappears, revealing the worldās true nature.
Lost lands resurface, bringing back civilizations that were erased.
The World Government loses control, because people will finally know the truth.
This would mean Luffy isnāt just freeing people from oppressionāheās restoring the world to what it was meant to be.
TL;DR
What if the Moon in One Piece is actually an ancient machine that regulated the world's balance but was shut down during the Void Century? The Ancient Kingdom may have used it to stabilize tides and climate, but when the 20 Kings couldnāt steal Joy Boyās Sun God power, they shut it down instead.
This could explain why:
Sea levels rose, sinking civilizations like Old Wano and Shandora.
The Red Line and Grand Line were artificially created to control the chaos.
The World Government erased history to cover up their failure.
The twist? The One Piece isnāt a treasure or a weaponāitās just an instruction manual on how to restart the Moonās lost system.
Roger laughed because the world had been fighting over an instruction manual for centuries.
Luffyās true mission might be to follow Joy Boyās instructions and restore the worldās natural balance.
hot take : arlong is much stronger then he is, he literally conquered east blue which is one of the 4 seas in the entire world, luffy won with plot armor and arlong was on land, the only reason why his bounty was so low is because he paid corrupt marines to hide his acts , and if he had the chance to learn haki, it would be deadly, and just imagine if he took drugs like hody jones, and we know his reputation was big in his backstory, + hody jones looked up to him, and one of the main reasons why he was shown weak is because he was one of the early villians in the show
Why do people think shanks asked Marco to join his crew twice? There's always been alot of talk about shanks deliberately not having DF uses on his crew but he has asked Marco twice to join. So does marcos power play a role in obtaining the one piece? Or maybe shanks doesn't actually mind having DF users on his crew
I really like your take on what the One Piece is. An instruction manual? Yeah that would be a riot! Just like the kingdoms fighting over it. And the moon being a device built to manage the ocean? Brilliant. It's similar to my theory on the Adam Tree.
Wow that's interesting. Maybe he just doesn't have a doctor on board. No one comes to mind. And now that we know Shamrock has a devil fruit weapon, Shanks most likely has the gryffin Zoan type sword. So maybe it isn't about devil fruits but needing to dive for pirates.
Hi everyone, never posted anything here but I saw someone speak about this theory and I absolutely want to share it with you all. If this is true, it could be one of the oldest foreshadowing of the Manga concerning the future final war or the war that happened in the past
why can't i post images though š„²
good stuff, altho I believe that the "we were too early" was more meaningful coming from Roger than just "we didn't have the sun god's power", there's must be more to it than this, it's almost as if it had to be precisely this certain specific year/age, not earlier, it's also why kozuki toki traversed through time and landed "20 years too early" and later send her son and the samurai to "that age/year"
here's my hot take: when luffy began his adventure by leaving windmill village he was already stronger than arlong, the only reason he didn't have any bounties is because he was low key in the corvo mountains, the only reason there was any prolonged plot in any east blue arcs was because luffy was made "unavailable" by plot reasons (and zoro was made nerfed) allowing to prolong the plot and allow other characters to shine, the first real need for improvement was in alabasta arc
Marco is chill that's why
Roger laughed at the laugh tales of joyboy

Oda revealed 3 years ago what One Piece is but no one listened
Laugh laugh fruit the treasurw
based on the previous chapter, stated that giants had horns, maybe we can also say that kaido is a human with giant blood. any thoughts?
Kaidou and King Harald visual are really similar, maybe Kaido is a bastard of Harald.
Akainu and aokiji faked it
Scam. Ban pls
The One piece treasure is the heart of the sun god, the heart of the god Nika that was left behind on his death and used in the ancient kingdom (laugh tale) where joyboy was from
Hence why they were as advanced as egghead was 900 years ago
Vegapunk's power source was the motherflame, which is essentially just his inadvertent attempt at recreating a godlike limitless energy, but he could only replicate a fraction of Nika's heart
Just like when luffy is in his nika form, Emeth activated mysteriously
because of his heartbeat
The idea of the sun god was at the beginning of the story and we see it with the sun pirates tattoo
We know now that slaves prayed to the sun god to save them and liberate them, and fisher tiger was a celestial dragon slave and more than likely knew about nika because of this, and when he escaped, he formed the sun pirates, which arlong was a part of, hence the tattoo being added to arlongs design
Early series hints of the sun being an important aspect
I dont think Oda came up with the name "Nika" though until wano lol, but the "Sun God" was always there
Needs the "Doom dut da da" heartbeat from the nika fruit to activate or be unlocked somehow hence why Roger couldnt use it
Metaphorically will bring the "Dawn" of the world (dawn requires the sun)
Where do all read latest manga
Which chapter to read after egghead last episode
thinking, maybe Enel had drums on his back because he read something about Drums and the sun god
I dont remember in the manga if he stated why he had the drums

Possible, or its a reference to a Raijin, japanese god of lightning and storms
But even if it is, nikas drum could also be a reference to that
so hmmm
Possible
he had to have torn off his birkan wings and replaced them with those drums
and they know of nika
so its a valid theory

he was trying to be god after all
As we see with the sky people, lore gets lost/twisted over time, so some stuff from Nika might have gotten crossed with other interpretations
I actually agree with that
God of laughter, or liberation, or destruction
Varied depending on culture
do you think corco is luffys mom?
can someone axplain me this theorie?
i dont get it
its a meme
the one piece is a large scale version of the rope emmet used to send 4/5 elders back to mary geoise that is still currently being made by a funny looking old man that was once on joy boys crew. which would explain why roger was "too early" and whats so funny about the treasure. also it would be funny that the one piece was directly under our noses (the logos nose and in its mouth) the whole time
so it's just a tale ? but oda said the one piece will be something rewarding not just an abstract concept like the friends we made along the way
https://www.reddit.com/r/OnePiece/comments/1iml6pi/the_bartenders_tattoos_in_chapter_223_look_very/ i don't know if this can be intresting
in the anime they showed it with a long neck
I think this is just oda sitting on a cool design for a long time and trying to get it out before he completly forgets ut
What happens when you untie the knot?
