yeah I can understand, but for this drawing specifically I used this random marker that I found lying around!! I do art as a side hobby for fun so I don’t know if this is even made for art lol but I can confirm it’s so much better when it comes to filling things in compared to sharpies. It’s black color is much darker plus extremely smooth when coloring, it basically glides across the paper so I find it more efficient to color

I originally intended on lahey being rayleigh, because y'know, silvers lahey, he's an alcoholic, but alas, he wasn't on thriller bark. somewhat proud of the outcome actually, frandy and riffy for example I love, but brook, he just looks... off. trying to make brook look buff did not work.

haven't drawn anything in years, tried gimp 3.0 but it's as confusing as ever, so I'll just stick to good ol' mspaint. except colouring is a pain, maybe I should try to find something to better that.

anyway, I know the "quality" and "effort" is rather low and the format for example is boggled, but might this perhaps be eligible for the art contest? I don't expect much, but I guess the more the merrier?

when I see a random tip/tutorial, I try to just copy one thing I liked about the drawing just so my hands and eyes can be familiar with it

one thing I stopped doing is using black to shade my drawings. do that (if you use black) and I think it's definitely a great start to avoid drawings looking blandd
