It’s October 1st and the Halloween moon is rising, soooooo it’s time for another art contest!!
This time around we want you to draw something spooky! Pick at least 5 of your favorite One Piece characters and draw them with a Halloween theme in mind! Please depict them in Halloween-esque spooky outfits in the same manner (but not necessarily identical to) Oda’s chapter 685 color spread (which I will attach below).
The instructions are as follows:
Your art must include at least FIVE One Piece characters in the same piece, and must be drawn within the contest's time frame (no reusing older finished art pieces).
You may use any size/aspect ratio you please, no need to limit it to 16:9 anymore.
Your piece must be colored.
Only depict characters and content shown in the anime, anything that would spoil anime-onlys will not be accepted.
Absolutely no NSFW artwork.

Around this time in 2016, our humble server started for One Piece fans to be able to talk about the series, and from there we've grown to now more than 250k crew members. So as a celebration of that, and our 7 year anniversary- this is a joint art contest/giveaway!
The theme this time around we want you to draw a getaway scene- for example such as a bank heist or prison break! Pick four or more of your favorite One Piece characters and draw them with in a risky situation that they have to break out of!
The instructions are as follows:
Your art must include at least FOUR One Piece characters in the same piece, and must be drawn within the contest's time frame (no reusing older finished art pieces).
The dimensions must be scalable to 1920 x 1080 (aspect ratio of 16:9). Hand drawn works are accepted as long as it's still 16:9 scalable.
Your piece must be colored.
This time around you can use characters that have been shown in the manga. No longer anime only! Movie characters can also be used.
Absolutely no NSFW artwork.

As a celebration of tonight's episode and how far we've come as a community, we're making some pretty big server changes: as of this moment onward, the server is now manga friendly. The only channels that will support our old anime friendly policy are located in the 📺Anime Only📺 category. Now those particular Luffy avatars are allowed everywhere. Keep in mind you should still use channels for their intended purpose :)
In other news, #1022309132692365383 is a new channel we're trying out! A place where users can create topics about specific One Piece related subjects like merch, 1v1s, news, etc. Check out the rules & make a post about something you care about!
Finally, the return of factions. We've always had them, but we're bringing them back in full force with icons- rep your set by choosing one in #old-role-info message . Faction-related events will happen sometime in the future as well, so keep an eye out for that.

This server's 10 year anniversary is fast approaching! To celebrate this milestone, we'd love for you to participate in this special art contest. The theme is pretty straightforward, draw at least 5 One Piece characters throwing a party/celebration. It's up to you what the characters are celebrating, as long as they are living it up!
The deadline will be** <t:1774335600:F> <t:1774335600:R>**, one week before the anniversary.
Guidelines:
Your art must include at least FIVE One Piece characters in the same piece, and must be drawn within the contest's time frame (no reusing older finished art pieces).
The dimensions must be scalable to 1920 x 1080 (aspect ratio of 16:9). Hand drawn works are accepted as long as it's still 16:9 scalable.
Your piece must be colored.

This is a very sudden announcement we're having to make, but going forward the server will no longer be sharing or promoting unofficial scans of the series, and will now be switching to official Viz release ONLY!!!!
In order to keep the server as secure as possible from potential strikes and other violations, we can no longer associate ourselves with unofficial material. This will be a major adjustment but I hope you can all understand.

Our weekly chapter pings in #announcements will now strictly be for the official Viz translation of chapters that release on Sundays.

Our main manga channels will now have to align with this policy shift and discussion regarding the latest chapters must be reserved for the official releases! Essentially, if we have not posted the chapter in #announcements you can not talk about it in those channels, same as always!!

Regarding spoilers and unofficial scans: Simply put, we will no longer allow anyone to post anything that isn't from the official manga. Raw spoiler scans will now be strictly prohibited, same goes with any unofficial scanlations that appear before the official Viz release.

We will keep #spoilers open for people to DISCUSS any unofficial content, as we have no control on what is shared elsewhere online. That channel(s) will be permanently embed muted as to not share any images of unreleased chapters whatsoever. It will simply exist as an avenue for people to discuss leaked material without spoiling others in the main manga channels.
This will be an ongoing process but please bear with us. A lot of the details will have to be ironed out further as we move along. Keep in mind it is still currently a break week so things are subject to change. But if you have any questions or concerns regarding these changes, please DM an admin or mod. Thank you!

Hey everybody. We were debating what should be done about discussion of the new vivre card data book.
We have decided, as with all previous data books, that it is NOT spoilers for the series. All future data books will also not be considered spoilers. If you want to avoid them for any reason then I understand, but they may be mentioned in channels such as #manga and #manga-theories .
The reason this all happened was that we received information that it was going to contain some things that were basically spoilers for the series. This ended up being more rumour than fact. I just want to say sorry to anyone frustrated by this and us for being 🎣 . This shouldn't happen again 🙏

Hey @everyone . A couple of days ago, there was a panel at Anime Expo Saudi Arabia where Toei Animation Senior Director of Production, Shinzo Shimizu, spoke on the One Piece manga and anime. In this panel, he revealed some aspects of the end of Wano and the end of One Piece in general that may be interpreted as vague hints or spoilers.
Because of this, we’re not allowing discussion of the interview anywhere besides #spoilers.
There are people who want to talk about this interview, and with the series progressing further and further, interviews, panels, and other media similar to this with similar implications or spoilers will likely continue to appear.
For that reason, we're changing how #spoilers works: We are opening it indefinitely (will not close after the chapter releases), and the channel will provide not only for discussing chapter raws, but all future interviews or other media that spoil past the current One Piece chapter. This unfortunately includes One Piece, and what this means for the future of early scanlations is unclear at the moment. The chapters will still be released officially (and for free!) at Manga Plus (https://mangaplus.shueisha.co.jp/titles/100020) and Viz (https://www.viz.com/shonenjump/chapters/one-piece) on Sunday 8:00 PM GMT. If there are any early scanlations from other websites, we will be sure to ping everyone. We would like to thank Mangastream, Jaimini's Box, and the countless staff members from both sites that worked hard to provide scanlations to the community for years, and we wish them good luck in the future.

As some of you may be aware, Chapter 967 was released by a fan scanlation group over the previous weekend with several translation errors. We value our members' reading experience and decided collectively not to ping everyone for the chapter, and to wait for either a better scanlation, or the official Viz release on Sunday/Monday. The group responsible for the scanlation has made appropriate corrections, and we have decided to post their updated version for this chapter. Due to the tumultuous climate of the scanlation scene, it is still undecided whether we will rely on fan scanlations or the official release in the future, but if a decision is made, we will be sure to inform everyone. Once the Viz/Manga Plus version is out, the link will be replaced with the official. In the meantime, happy holidays from the staff, and enjoy Chapter 967!

I've taken some time to explain why we're asking these questions, and some of the pros and cons (from our POV) so that anyone who takes the time to fill this out will understand some of our thought processes behind asking, and hopefully make an informed decision on what you want. In commemoration, we will be hosting a server-wide art contest! The theme is One Piece characters doing just about whatever, in a similar manner to Oda's color spreads. You could draw them dancing, singing, fishing, even fighting! As long as you Follow the guidelines listed below, your submission will be considered. To submit your piece, please DM either me or @rare hearth with both your art and what you would title it. You will have until JULY 27TH to submit, so make sure you do so before then.
After the submission deadline, pieces will be collected in a channel and users will be allowed to vote on their favorite through reactions. On AUGUST 3RD, voting will close, and the winners will be chosen!
Here's the guidelines:
- Dimensions must be scalable to roughly 960x540 with an aspect ratio of 16:9.
- The characters drawn must be from One Piece.
- A signature from the artist (you) is required on the piece.
- Only depict content featured in the anime. Nothing that spoils anime-onlys will be accepted!
- As always, no NSFW content.
- Must be submitted by July 27th.
Now the rewards :
1st place: Your art will be used as the server banner, and you receive 3 One Piece volumes of your choice.

Before we get into the voting instructions, I want to say one thing. While I'm overall very happy with how this contest turned out, I feel like some of the pieces we received did not follow the intended theme correctly. I let most of them through but if we do another contest the guidelines will be much more strict and Thomas and I will not be close to as lenient in regards to what we accept. With that said, most of you followed the instructions perfectly and I am once again very happy with the submissions.

This time around, I want you to draw a group of 5 or more different One Piece characters doing something to celebrate chapter 1000, in a similar manner to Oda's color spreads! (I'll attach an example below) I'll specify the direct instructions a few lines down, but I want to reiterate something I brought up after the last contest. We received a surprisingly large amount of entries last time that did not follow the theme, and even though we allowed those entries previously, WE WILL NOT BE ALLOWING ENTRIES THAT DON'T FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS THIS TIME. So, the server is getting pretty big these days. We're approaching 100,000 members faster & faster and there are a few things we're doing to ease into it.
#1- We're going to have to prune inactive members. Discord requires we do this until we remain above 90k users after the prune in order to let more than 100k people into the server.
We've already done one in the past which resulted in 30,000 members being kicked from the server. A ton of old accounts sitting in the server since 2016 which hadn't been used in ages got removed.
Now that we're back above 90k members, we'll do at least one more and we don't want anyone to be kicked without them at least being warned about it. Accounts that haven't visited the server in over 1 month will be pruned (You don't have to send a message, just view a channel!).
So if you or any of your friends find that you're no longer in the server, it was most likely due to the upcoming prune. Rejoin afterwards or come visit to avoid being kicked!
#2- We're introducing the Helper role.
As the server has gotten bigger and bigger, we need more and more eyes watching to keep the ship afloat. This role is intended to be a more relaxed version of a Moderator- you don't need to be on 24/7 or have a bunch of free time, it's just a way to help the server run smoothly and give back to the community. Helpers would be able to organize events, give out particular roles & have access to a particular set of commands to moderate chat.

This time around, we want you to pick at least 5 of your favorite one piece characters and draw them with another character's outfit doing whatever you want them to (partying, chilling, fighting, whatever!) Feel free to swap their powers if you'd like, but the instrumental facet here is that each member is wearing the outfit of another person. As an example, you could do the Kid pirates wearing the outfits of the Strawhats, or you could do your favorite few marines wearing various different crew outfits. The instructions are as follows:

Hey <@&738484521409839182> and anyone else participating in the art contest! Just a heads up, the deadline is in 24 days, on June 8th 11:59 PM PST! It is imperative that you submit by the deadline as no late submissions will be accepted!
Let me remind everyone of the theme:
Pick at least 5 of your favorite one piece characters and draw them with another character's outfit doing whatever you want them to (partying, chilling, fighting, whatever!) Feel free to swap their powers if you'd like, but the instrumental facet here is that each member is wearing the outfit of another person. As an example, you could do the Kid pirates wearing the outfits of the Strawhats, or you could do your favorite few marines wearing various different crew outfits
and the guidelines:
- Dimensions must be 1920x1080 or scalable to it. (Aspect ratio of 16:9)
- Your art piece must include at least 5 One Piece characters and must be drawn within the contest's time frame (no reusing older finished art pieces).
- Your piece must be colored, and a title must be submitted on the google form.
- Only depict characters and content shown in the anime, anything that would spoil anime-onlys will not be accepted.
- Absolutely no NSFW artwork.

Just a warning, there are a large amount of phishing bots circulating discord at the moment and it's important you do not click on anything DM'd to you. Accounts like any with the name @ HypeSquadTeam or @fossil crown are very blatant scammers and will try to DM you links or various other things in order to pry your account information from you.
