Mhm I'm not that much of an expert myself to explain it properly

But what I did is very straight forward. Since I'm a big OP Fan I kinda trained myself drawing One piece style faces over and over.

I kinda have now the base line of Oda's style when it comes to faces and body structures.

I can create various profiles of a characters face depending on their emotions

I also kinda in my head used the Roger laughing as a template and since I can imitate Oda's style to some extend you can actually build up from your imagination since his style is structured once you can do

Then I have some general idea of what kind of perspective I want and then I start sketching.

It's not clean but you can create cool small fanarts with it

Also everything startet because I was obsessed with drawing Katakuri if that helps

the thing is i just grabbed the manga panel and just colored that, i didnt redraw like you so thats why it has those manga full black shadows on my one

sometimes you kind have to use black for shadows tho, or atleast a very very dark shade of a color

take this sphere for an example, its getting little to no light since the bottom is so close to the table the shadow appears almost fully black

I'm trying to ask for a drawing tablet for my birthday, and i've been looking around on amazon for some relatively cheap standalone tablets with screens (i want to be able to just pop it out whenever and start drawing stuff, especially if i'm at college)
