sorry to hop in, but i just wanna say, i definitely know youve improved this year. even improving on the little things make a huge difference. becoming a pro artist takes many many years, so you cant just expect to become a pro artist in the span of a year, or even 10. if you put in the effort and take the time to learn new things, youll be sure to improve. like me, ive stepped out my comfort zone and i have noticed a lot of improvement from 5 months ago. comparing your art from a while ago can also make you realize the improvement you have made.

I'm mostly impressed by the studies you've done, which is where the basis of improving comes from. You've been showing promise in that area. However, the illustrations you do tend to fall into the same anatomical issues and form, so I think you would improve faster focusing on studying anatomy and form every time you do an illustration, such as looking at real muscle and bone structures and how it all works together and applying it to any illustration you're doing.

Yes. Any anatomical issues will make an illustration worse. And that's OK, because it lets you know where you can improve. I still make anatomy mistakes constantly and have to course correct. Studying anatomy is absolutely crucial even for anime styles.

Ok. I try to challenge myself of not doing free drawing for 3 months for example, too practice as hard as i can. But i can't hold myself when i want to draw a character i like.

You can draw whatever you want, but as I've told you many times: practice, practice, practice and study the fundamentals. You can do the illustrations, but make sure you apply what you learn from studying the fundamentals. If you don't learn the fundamentals, you'll just be going in circles.

There are rare few who don't study the fundamentals and do well. But that is quite rare.
