I mean i am a older peep, and am only seriously putting effort and time into my art now adays, after years of mostly hobby drawing and no real technical skills, i started to watch videos , ask an artist friend for some guidance in some theory based stuff and have been going at it like a madman the last year.
I am currently plotting a comic and am planning on getting it published eventually.
Point I am tying to make tho i guesses is art and drawings is what you make of it. It should be fun times, No need to stress about how more advanced others are doing because at the end of the day its a skill not a talent, so given enough time and practice you can get there too.

^ I get this too some days and just dropping it for a while usually works. Especially if you find yourself in loops where you keep trying to make things work but they're just not.
It's sorta like getting stuck when you're trying to figure something out. Just need to leave for a while so your brain will be "recalibrated" by the time you get back to it.

Start drawing and don't stop. You have to force it and fight through the annoyance and pain. If you don't feel like doing that, then just put down the tools and walk away until you actually feel like it. But brute force is the real answer.

I remember using references from like Senshistock and other places but then a couple of art tubers said to not use those references for pieces because it makes your work too static?
