As a 20 year one piece manga ONLY reader, it's very very very very very hard for me to both remember AND care that some people are, for some reason, anime only. Is it bad for me to spoil things? Yes. for rivals people usually do completely custom sprited characters since there's kinda this stigma against sprite rips (since they tend to be lower quality.) they do all these animations in addition to programming, balancing, design in general, + vfx, extra ui stuff, and the character portrait.

Naw, he is the former King of Avalot, King of the Knight Protectors. Basically King Arthur if Lancelot (Lancer Rot in my story) betrayed him and usurped his kingdom. So basically in a bunch of stories there is this thing called 5 man band where there are characters tropes
The leader/hero: the one who’s the hero/leader.
Lancer: the dark foil of the hero, who usually gets into fights with them.
The heart: the one that’s the emotional person in the team who is the glue who keeps the team together. Sometimes the hero’s love.
The smart guy: the one that’s intelligent and in a sci fi senario is usually a hacker and can be an inventor.
The strong/big guy: the one that’s the big muscular person and is the muscle for the group.

i can color but i don't really know color theory itself

kinda just go off vibes. pick a base color, then for shading it's usually a darker color that's slightly hue shifted. (e.g. if I'm shading beige, then I use more of a red tint for the shading color)
