||1. Somehow Gecko Moria is doing something to people and then transferring it to undead beings, my guess is that it's their shadow since brook was talking about it a few episodes ago, explaining that Moria stole his shadow, which ties in with 2.
2. That swordsman that sounded like brook and asked the same weird questions is brooks shadow somehow got transferred to the undead swordsman, my guess is the shadow like the "soul" of the person.
