i REALLY need help to get that ''Bowling for gibs'' achievement

it's almost impossible to get it online

(i hate multiplayer achievements in any game)

i'm trying to get 100% in doom

i play on steam

i don't know if you has to run over 2 or 3 players

i ran over 2 and didn't worked

i'm surprised by the fact that this is not the achievement with the lowest % of players that got it

try to focus on the demonic runes and play all the time with the Spectre you'll end up getting it quickly, it must be 3 or 5 kills in a row

The most annoying achievement to get is the cosmetic one, you need to reach level 8 minimum to access the challenges to get it and 10 to get it normally, so it takes a few dozen hours of gameplay to get there and in principle during those you'll have plenty of time to get all the other multiplayer achievements.

I've just reached level 8 in about 20 hours of play

Hey what's up guys so I started playing through Doom 2016 the other day and I got to level 13 where I have to destroy VEGA's 4 coolant tubes but out of nowhere the game keeps crashing hasn't crashed since I got to that spot in the game. I'm on PC playing on steam so I reinstalled it that didn't work I updated my graphic drivers but I did notice I was able to play a little longer when I did reinstall it but idk. Did anyone ever had the problem that challenges were bugged? I am doing all challenges right now and the last one is getting 5 different glory kills on imps mission 12 vega central processing. In my initial run I got 4/5. When I replay the missions all challenges get reset to 0/x or as not completed, even tho I did the other two. I can do any glory kill I like on imps but it doesn't go higher than 1/5, as if it wouldn't count the ones I did in my original run, yet it's still not completed. Anyone has an idea what I can do about it? Like it would also be fine resseting the challenge completely so I do clean 5 glory kills in one run

This is a pretty big misunderstanding.
They are canon, but Doom's universe just has several timelines, kinda like multiverses.
Doomguy from 1 and 2 are the same person as the Slayer in Eternal, which does confirm that 1 and 2 are canon.
It's also implied that Doomguy from 64 is the same one as 1 and 2.

Whether Doomguy is a "Primeval from another universe" or a normal man who became a Primeval after he went through the Divinity Machine is unclear. But yes, Doomguy came from the classic Doom world and ended up in the modern Doom world via Hell, which can connect to all worlds.

Hugo spouts some "he had his powers awakened" shit in an interview but it makes no sense and doesn't like up with what the actual game is presenting. Maybe it is true, but I personally prefer not to cite it as fact until the games themselves actually support it.

Yeah, like I said, Hugo says a lot of things but they don't always necessarily line up with that the games themselves say. The man isn't infallible. Your satisfaction with this answer depends on what you think is a more credible source - the games or the guy who directed them.

The games suggest that Doomguy was an ordinary man who became a Primeval after he inherited Davoth's powers through the Divinity Machine. Hugo seems to feel that Doomguy was always a Primeval and some kind of chosen one, that all Primevals have the same face, and that the Divinity Machine unlocked powers that Doomguy already had within him.

Personally, most people I've met who care about this subject think the latter idea is really fucking stupid and goes against the main tenets of Doomguy's characterization, and I kind of agree. I am hesitant to accept that unless the games themselves end up saying so.

Yes but you're forgetting in game lore is earned with codex. And codex is intradiegetic so Sentinels wrote it. So is it an option that the codex say what Sentinels though was real ?

2016 runs great without a high end card, and I’ve easily gotten 165+ FPS on Eternal with my 4060ti on max settings 1440p so as long as raytracing is off you should be able to get at least 60 on most cards.

I just beat the Cyberdemon in Doom 2016 on Nightmare difficulty. I only have four levels left, and i gotta say: whoever it was who told me that Doom 2016 Nightmare is harder than Dark Souls (this was years ago, not here) was absolutely lying. Yes it is very hard, but if you're good enough to be comfortable playing on Ultra-Violence, playing Nightmare is basically what it was like while you were still in the process of getting comfortable playing on Ultra-Violence. I only have four levels left, which I'll play later, but so far it really hasn't been that much harder than Ultra-Violence. If you know what you're doing, you'll be fine lol

Cyber demon is pretty easy with the right weapon mods

Micro missiles, gauss sniper, and SSG/combat shotgun quick switch were my go to’s

I don't consider Doom 2016 too hard and generally speaking I think 2016 is easier than most shooters. With that said, concept of Ultra Nightmare would be hard for me, since I don't like/try to play without deaths at all. As for Dark Souls comparasion - don't know, since played only Dark Souls 3 a bit and depending from how you adapt and how much you would grind levels it may be easy or very hard.

Grenades, explosive shot, and heat blast are your friends. Blasts from rockets are useful for fodder too but you take a lot of damage if you're too close. It's almost always lethal on Nightmare

I think the BFG is best used as a panic button of sorts, when you're overwhelmed and at kinda low health. The enemies you kill will drop health

Also pro tip: siege mode is a really powerful weapon but of course you can’t move while charging it. If you’re being shot at, double jump to the right or left, and while in midair, start charging. You’re still be moving while you’re charging, and once you land, it’ll be charged (assuming you have the upgrade that reduces charge time)

Also siege mode can kill two cacodemons (those big red fuckballs) in one shot, which is useful for that one part in kadingir sanctum

Eternal tells no one survived to the divinity machine but the Slayer so....Would be kinda weird and, in my opinion, wouldn't make much sense
