After playing eternal, 2016 feels like a slug race because I wa so used to being like a Lighting McQueen over the arena

It took me awhile to learn how to maneuver hell knights and such in eternal because they were way more aggressive but now I can kill barons like they’re revenants

which would be a bronze 1 on the side of the level number. then after fifty you go to echolone 2 level 1

I play on switch and whenever I try to play it (not arcade mode, yet I have an issue with that as well) and unlock the door in the first cutscene, it wont let me press it on my control. Im sure Im doing everything right, but its not registering for some reason. And when I interact with anything else, it wont work, either. Its to press to the right joint stick down, but it wont work. Same thing was happening to me. What fixed it was this: you have a headset and a headphone. You need to fully disable the headset somehow because it keeps reverting back to that

I had a similar issue where I would start the game and have sound, then as soon as I died the audio would stop

best thing to do is just lite him up with BFG from the very beginning

you only need three direct shots to kill him and you should have 4 for the 2nd phase

Yo here's a tip for you if you played kadingir sanctum,

when you play the last fight in that level go up the floating rocks/stairs. And you get a good look at the monsters and shoot them from afar .. I tried it and it works on every level

Doom 2016 is so good. I went for the plat back in 2017 and I enjoyed every minute of it. Multiplayer was a pain to deal with but if I had to do multiplayer between PS4 and pc. I’d rather do ps4 when I got the dlcs rather then the update that gave all the dlc’s for free

put your machine in standby mode and turn it off if it's an xbox. Don't play other games while it downloads. If it's your pc, just let it sit while it downloads. Dont' mess about in other games for a bit. This is a large game(larger than DE iirc) so it will still take some time so it will still take a few hours.

My ps4 is 7 years old and it had a lot of trash in it so went to safe mode and rebuilt my database and now it runs way faster and doom 2016 runs really smoothly too, the only problem is my mom keeps giving me chores while I play almost like shes trying to stop me from playing, talk about a first experience

assuming you're playing on console, and at kadingir sanctum. Shoot Rocket, press last weapon button(R1?) Then shoot gauss cannon. then tap R1, shoot rocket etc.

I don't remember exactly what my personal keybinds are, but these are similar and what works for me:

Q: Super Shotgun
R: Gauss Cannon
E: Rocket Launcher
1: Combat Shotgun
2: Heavy Assault Rifle
T: Plasma Rifle
X: Chaingun

In general, bind weapons to keys and get muscle memory to press those keys automatically in the middle of combat
