Marauders haven't really been nerfed. They have had different bug fixes, some removed easy kills, some removed actual buggy interactions (not faltering on slopes). In general though, there's not been any major or mainstream changes aside from the visual/audio cue of the stun.

It's not too hard, main thing to realize is if you use dazed and confused, leaving the Prowlers glory killable leaves them out of commission longer than if you killed them just for them to respawn.

"For survivability, it's unanimous that Air Control is first. Most are Equipment Fiend 2nd (the SSG Mastery works with the rune which pushes it over the edge of good), and 3rd choice is basically preference. Guys I think my game is glitched out. I'm playing TAG2, and I'm basically at the start still. I got the fight where you first encounter the Armored Baron, and then you walk up the ramp to find a giant tentacle that comes out of the pond, after which a large battle ensues. The thing is, that battle is endless. I've killed all the larger enemies, and as far as I can tell, the battle should be over. However it's not ending, it's just spawning infinite amounts of "Fodder", little dudes that are always everywhere

The original Archvile in Doom II resurrected demons, since their corpses stayed in the level. It'd walk up to them and whoosh 'em back to life. That's not feasible here since Eternal corpses fizzle away.

There are much harder sections in the level imo. You can get away with using a BFG for the first one and spamming SSG, grenades, and Ballista shots until the second one does.

you shoot your weapon

and press a button that is mapped to swapping to that weapon

you can even do this with a weapon wheel but thats obsolete now due to update 6.66 allowing controllers to button map weapons

with lob equipped, i find rocket pcancel loops much easier to keep going, since with pb rocket there's a small risk of killing the fast state just by getting a lock-on you didn't want

If the arena is even medium sized it makes picking off everything absolute cake. Keeps the demons spread out and manageable always trying to 'find' you or follow you across the map.

In all fairness, ZM is probably one of the slower ones, it's just that they do "fast swaps" without much regard for optimal swaps per enemy. Its like when people just PB rocket everything until they run out, then go to PB Ballista. It looks fast/hectic, and it obviously works, but it's honestly rather slow in the long run compared to doing specific combos or setups per enemy. Typically if people wanna see optimal fight routes or strats, Bowsr or DrakePhose are the ones who've gotten everything kind of figured out.

There's definitely nothing wrong with being more methodical. While it looks "slower" even something like SSG PB SSG is faster and more consistent then doing PB rocket's all day. I could talk a lot about the specifics but it's obviously dependent on the arena. A lot of people talk "best combos per demon," but really each arena is so different not everything will work. A Cyber Mancubus in the sewers of Taras Nabad isnt the same as one in the big open SGN fight, for instance, so the approach might differ.
