The Maykrs have an innate power, basically, to teleport anywhere that is considered "their" jurisdiction, i.e. what the Father created. This power doesn't extend to teleporting others.

It's more complicated than just, the Sanctum being really high up there. It's more like dimensional shenanigans and shit. You simply can't get into the Sanctum without completing the Trial of Maligog - the Argenta had access to flying spacecraft for many, many centuries, yet as the game tells you countless of them died attempting to complete the Trial.

So it can be presumed that many tried to just "fly up there" and it didn't work.

-For the 13 years in between Doom 2016 and Eternal, Samuel Hayden was a robot helping the ARC using former UAC resources.
-The Seraphim's body was in the UAC Atlantica. Body. Not consciousness. His consciousness is Hayden, and is in the normal robot body.
-In Eternal, you put his consciousness into the Fortress of Doom, and thus into your suit as well since they share a wireless connection of some sort.

No, but there are theories for it.

The game keeps the Slayer's motive for doing this a bit vague since you're not in his head and all.

There's multiple theories for this. The most plausible one IMO is that the Slayer vehemently and inherently rejects the Ancient Gods as a concept, not just the Dark Lord but the Father as well. Any deity that believes its godhood to be justification for the subjugation or control of others is not worth living, in the Slayer's book.
The Father's a benevolent being, he's a good guy, but per the lore, he is also a very cowardly and hesitant being who consistently fails to stop injustice from happening under his gaze. He failed to kill Davoth for good because he hesitates out of caring, and despite watching over Urdak during the Argenta lore, he stands idly by in his dumb Life Sphere as the Maykrs subjugate, betray, and eventually cull the Argenta.

So in short, the Father's nice, but he's also fucked up a lot and stood as a bystander to a lot of the bad shit that happened in the backstory; I personally feel the Slayer thinks enough is enough: no second chances. The Father cannot come back; that way Urdak can die.

The story of TAG1 and 2 is really the final nail in the whole "Doom's a Christian game!" concept. The story is rejecting any notion of following a greater being, and instead encouraging individual action.

Doom's entire theme and moral, at least in the modern games, is a rejection of ulterior presence and following in favor of cutting your own path and doing what you feel is right, consequences be damned. Basically meaning "God can get fucked, I'm more concerned about the humans."

Even if the game does hint at Samuel being the Seraphim pretty heavily

but that's just dropping clues to the player instead of implying it was somehow common knowledge

I personally believe a major motivation for the Slayer was also:

• to give Samuel payback for what he did to Slayer in 2016
• prevent the father from stopping him
• facilitate his plan of resurrecting the dark lord so he can kill him (if the father's sphere is no longer, no one else can try and resurrect him)

Oh and also the aspect that Slayer is so hell bent on his mission that he does not care what he destroys on the way.
I loved that sphere destroying scene because it was perhaps the first moment in doom where the doomguy / slayer isn't clear cut good guy but does possibly bad things too.
It gives his character personality

Like in God of War 3. Kratos gets his revenge but destroys everything basically in the process.

A borderless window mode that uses flip model is practically the same as excl. fullscreen
Plus if you have fullscreen optimizations enabled, even fullscreen mode isn't truly exclusive fullscreen but rather a "fancier" borderless window

That said disabling fullscreen optimizations for eternal doesn't seem to make any difference, stability or performancewise

Hey guys i started doing MLs in nightmare cause i was looking for more content after doing main game/TAG1+2 in nightmare and yesterday i did ARC Complex and Cultist base MLs and they werent that hard tbh (0 death in both lol, and im far from beeing a pro). I think now i'll either do SNG or Taras ML but wanted to know which one for you is easier/harder between them? I will probably do mars core/world spear after them as they are the last MLs

for what ive read, SNG seems easier than Taras ML but can be wrong
