hey guys im relatively new to eternal, I have beaten the game on tytd but I want to beat it on ultra-violence, any tips?

hard to know without seeing any gameplay clips

but the basic stuff like make sure youre always moving, dont stop, keep chainsawing frequently to restack ammo, and flame belch a lot to restack armor

do a little research to see what weapon combos kill certain demons quickly so you can be more efficient

What Gemini_19 added but for me personally it was way easier using the sticky bomb shotty mod cuz the other one js sucks in my opinion

But overall make sure to frequently switch mods for diff enemy types

Oh and u can cancel the mod switching animation by quickly using the punch button

If you time it right you just instantly switch mods

i think mod swapping/animation canceling isnt exactly what someone needs to focus on when theyre going up from too young to die lol

theres honestly a decent chance that a lot of the issues are also just bad aim

i think the most important thing is developing an understanding for the game, it doesn't have to be super complex, but stuff like "how does my arsenal work and how does different tools interact with eachother and enemies?" or "how can i use my movement in this arena or against these enemies?"

For casual players - good upgrades, since game just becomes more forgiving.
As for Marauders - try to quick switch between Super Shotgun/Ballista/Rocket Launcher (any combo of your choice) as you hit him once after green glow. These weapons are close to each other so not very hard to pull. And kill dog first, when possible.

For me - not to get stuck in wall/object, while I dodge stuff and keep fodder in mind, since I would probably get damaged a lot. Be on a move - changing position between 2 corners at least, when possible.
But I don't think it would help you, since you're in completely different league and maps you play are crowded with high-tier enemies.

here there's 3 respawning marauders and 1 respawning cursed prowler

and you have to kill the possessed armored baron, kinda messed up considering how small the space is

I almost always killed them with strong weapons like BFG/Crucible or at least had enough upgrades, but without even wepons/crystal/suit upgrades they just melt me.

Thank you! I try tomorrow. I used Ice Bomb+Frag Grenade+these weapons, but he and his summoned friends sometimes just kill me faster than I kill him. But need to try to quick switch better and be less greedy, I guess. I constantly forget that I have not enough cooldown and crystal upgrades to spam and tank.
Also I use 2 mods (Restored Melee+More Refills for Chainsaw), so maybe I would just chainsaw more or chainsaw some heavy, if needed.

yeah if you havent, its worth just memorizing where they spawn

just instantly prioritize them the moment you go into an arena with them

theres not very many of them in the campaign tbh so its not too hard to remember where/when they spawn

But yeah, so far hardest "normal" enemy in a game for me. Next time, if I die more than 3 times from him, I would just use Crucible.

Yeah, mostly barebones run - I have Sticky Bombs and 1 upgrade for ammo, since was unable to skip 1 Mod Bot/1 Crystal.
For now I just try not to be greedy and try to run across arena like headless chicken as soon as I get low on health, since summoned and empowered by Archvile hit fast and hard.

idk why I love the marauder so much that I put up with his bullshit so happily

now that I can comfortably replay Mars Core ml and Super Gore Nest ml on UN (with occasional bfg usage), I wonder if I can have the balls to do the same for Taras Nabad ml, but that one is just on a whole different level

If you're indeed launching it properly, you've done all the other correct troubleshooting steps (verified the files, confirmed everything is installed, etc.). The only other things I could suggest is to update your drivers and operating system, however since the game itself is launching, I doubt those are an issue.

hello guys, i wanted to try to play doom eternal with randomiser mod,i downloaded ng+ booted it with ''play doom eternal wth modifications'' it set me on a new save file doesnt connect me to the network and i dont think that the randomiser works,but im still on first llv cause i jsut started it so maybe thats the problem(it also said in the mod description that i start with all weapons and mod should be balanced)

fro the pinky arena, get rid of it FAST as it does a shitload of dmg, use a blood punch or a ice

then just uhh ssg ballista or ssg pb

for the boss, blood punch it then just spam full auto to sled him off then combe

use grenades

and for the 2 doom hunters focus on 1 only use rockets they are good they also dont have much health
