I’d recommend trying to UN the DLCs next and then the master levels, those are fun a challenge

Never underestimate fodder, a group can easily kill you. Always be very aware of everything around you, not just what’s in front of you. Abuse the chaingun shield, use it every time you get out of a glory kill/chainsaw and when you get low, it’s such a busted mod. Watch other UN runs to learn when to bfg, you can pretty much skip final sin and some other levels with this

Also just watch gameplay of good players, watch master levels or tag1 runs, those are much harder than the main campaign

Okay tonight i played Super Gore Nest and Arc Complex on Doom Eternal Nightmare. Honestly these two levels were much easier than the first four, which i suppose is to be expected. Oh they were still pretty hard, but having more stat upgrades along with an expanded arsenal definitely helps.

It’s got a stupidly high skill cap, you can always get better and I love trying harder content and pushing myself. The combat loop MAKES you get good, you can’t just brute force it you have to play well to succeed. I think the combat is a very well designed system with infinite replayability and it’s incredibly fun

just some extra stuff that i believe is pretty important, especially if you wanna get creative with fblade

you don't need to MSC (mod swap cancel), you can also SMS (silent mod swap) or silent BATS. doing any of these will get you into a combo swap chain (CSC). once in it all you have to do is swap to the heavy cannon at least once to get rid of alt fire delay, then hit a target with arbalest or a rocket or a sticky bomb while charging the arbalest

then you have to let go of alt fire in the arbalest before swapping away

and boom, fblade

things that break a CSC are ledge grabs, mod swaps, meathooking, and not swapping/firing for too long
