you're already getting punished for getting overzealous, but you get double fucked if your camera was pointing slightly the wrong way

the slowdown holds you in place which guarantees a few followup attacks anyway so imo getting rid of the knockback is entirely fair

especially since that's never going to get patched

uncapped fps gives melee attacks infinite range and tracking, makes projectiles unreactable unless you're already staring at the enemy that's shooting at you, and running inf tokens + a few speed and damage buffs on top of that more than offsets knockback being gone

SMS doesn’t work as it did pre 5.0, on current patch it requires you to fire your weapon beforehand, and on rapid fire weapons, require the amount of shots that would normally trigger FSE for the next weapon. The timing can be a bit strange. But it’s not the currently preferred method, nor is it what I use.
The SMS inputs are ( swap weapon -> modswap before bringup of next weapon )
The Silent BATS inputs ( mod swap cancel -> modswap before bringup of next weapon )
It effectively does the same thing SMS used to do but with the exception of the added MSC

I haven’t played TAG 2 yet but I’ve beated the campaign, TAG 1, horde mode and all the master levels on ultra-nightmare and honestly you just eventually just learn which combos kill which demons how to switch to different weapons fast

By best advice is properly learning the weapon wheel or altering it to your play style so you know which weapons you need for every encounter

Largely all enemies are susceptible to all guns the only enemies that have specific weaknesses are

Arachnotron and Mancubi (Precision Bolt, Sticky Bombs, or Ballista can destroy there weak points)

Spirits (Can only be defeated via Microwave Beam)

Maykr Drones and Blood Maykrs die from headshots

Stone Imps are weak to Full Auto

Something I thinks funny is stone imps aren’t even weak to full auto, they just have LESS resistance towards it, they still have a health pool of 200. and another addition to that is I recall mayo claiming something along the lines like micro missiles was another great way to deal with them, he might have even claimed they were another weakness. Either way it’s an odd claim considering it being 15% of its original damage is the same percentage shared by precision bolt

I know what that is, mine does the same. You can hit alt+tab and then go to your aound at the bottom right of the screen. Click the select sound input button/option where the volume is. Then change the output device there. Go back into the game and that should work.

Don't use the BFG, do all the bonus stuff, kill the bounties as long as they are still gold, you can stack their multipliers, play on Nightmare

hi i need to help my account username is lyanaramli and i just recently bought my doom eternal from epic, but i have been trying 3 days straight to play the game and check whatever means like update graphic, firewall all my doom kept crashing, i got no issue playing doom on my playstation 5 but not at pc, the game wont even last until start up menu. the longest was playing on nightmare for 1 min and it crashed pls help

Move around-a lot. Don't stand still ever. Use your weapon modifiers and don't get in the habit of just using one gun, like ssg. Prioritize enemies and remember to keep your health and armor up at all times. Use your flame belch and grenades. Don't double dash, use single dashes. Learn how to ballista boost and bunny hop. Use your meathook to stay in the air when you need to and redirect. Play at the difficulty you want to, and don't feel bad if it takes a lot of practice to see growth. That's all I've got for now.
