The coins are called Deagic Talismans. They are a visual representation of a Drag Priest's bond with their chosen Guardian.

The Deag are functionally immortal, as part of a ritual they did with the help of the Khan Maykr. They are untouchable unless their chosen Guardian is killed; the Deagic Talisman manifests as proof of the Guardian's death.

We don't know what Nilox's Guardian was, as the Slayer killed it before Eternal begins. Ranak's Guardians were a trio of Doom Hunters, and Grav's Guardian was the Gladiator.

That’s why the Slayer collapsed after killing him.
There’s a ton of lore, a lot of it pretty complicated, so I recommend reading/watching up on some of it.

they were painfully slow because Taras glitched out on me, nek required a skip I hadn’t even learned yet so I had to improvise, and Urdak was Urdak

Struggling to beat the game on ultra nightmare anyone got ideas to help me

dont play on ultra nightmare no but really, it's kind of hard to tell exactly what's wrong without some clips or context, maybe look into the community a bit on youtube and see high level strats, how each weapon can be useful. Even something like the microwave beam which, at first glance doesn't seem like the most useful thing in the world, can be used to stagger reliably.

Learn important/trigger spawns for encounters you struggle with. Focus on upgrading weapon mods and utility/frag perks asap. Once you get past Cultist Base you’re usually fine, but there is a difficulty spike in Taras Nabad and Urdak, so make sure you prepare for that.
Honestly the best strat is to have a Nightmare save that parallels your UN run, so you can practice on Nightmare beforehand.

ultra violence is really tough to start off on in my honest opinion, it definitely offers up quite the challenge for new players. I'd reccomend bumping it down to hurt me plenty, getting a feel for the combat loop, then going back up when you feel comfortable. Make sure you're interacting with and learning the systems, the game is perfectly beatable without knocking off weak points but a lot harder at first, so start off by practicing shooting off the arachnotron turret with either a sticky bomb or precision bolt or ballista shot, if you're early you'll be stuck with the sticky bomb but it gets the job done. Get used to chainsawing fodder demons when low on ammo, flame belch for armor, glory for health. None of those things are aboslutely neccesary to play, which is a great thing about the game it gives a wide variety in play style, but they definitely make the game far easier once you get a handle. I like to flame belch some fodder, pop a grenade and watch them explode into a flurry of armor pieces. Some people flame belch into a chainsaw to reup on armor and ammo at the same time

also a good gaming laptop id recommend that fits this criteria is the one I personally owned for a while, the msi gf65, 6 cores 12 threads and a 3060 mobile, it has 8GB of RAM but it’s easily upgradable, it’s around 820USD which would be around 746 euro, it very often hit 200 or more FPS on low settings ( unless in a taxing area ) in doom eternal, I’d say it’s a safe bet

Some of them just tweak the encounters and leave it at that, but a couple change a lot about the level. ARC is the least interesting of them all, which is a shame.
