The Unmaykr is a fun weapon to use when you play with the Infinite Ammo or Infinite Onslaught (was it the onslaught powerup which gave speed boost + inf ammo?).

But normally, the Unmaykr is inferior to the BFG by ALOT

Hell, even WITH infinite ammo i prefer the BFG because that thing can sustain a somewhat high RoF when you have more than 2 shots

if you're trying to bhop like it's csgo or quake, you have to time your jumps a little bit after you land, not right as you land

the speed comes from the little lurch you can see your character do as you land, that's why you delay your jump

but it doesn't really affect the difficulty of execution here

he's just quick- and punchswapping, de tech 101

you have less buttons on controller sure, but if you sacrifice a couple binds you wouldn't really need anyway (equipment launcher, equipment switch, crucible, dossier) then you'll still just be pressing buttons

it's the same thing on both control schemes

wavedashing, lurch hopping and bboosting are all weaker on gamepad since getting a 45 degree angle on an analog stick w/o notches is a lil tough, lurch hopping is obviously way easier w/ a scroll wheel, and bboosting is a little better in a casual context if you can do fast 180s which aren't super practical on controller

you're used to automatically responding with "but he's on controller bro" to any counterpoints because aim is the number 1 mechanical factor in so many other shooters, but not here

aiming and other camera movements are obviously way stronger on mnk, but all the other shit is just pressing buttons, which you do have less of on controller, but it's all the same

high level controller players would tell you something very similar

mnk is way stronger in a speedrunning context because of the low margin of error and actually high execution requirement of a number of tricks, but at any level of casual play, bringing up controllers in an argument is coping

for me, i usually swap between both regular grenades and ice grenades whilst using the chaingun shield and blood punches if i have them

the main issue is that quick swapping isnt nearly as seamless as it is on pc

cause on pc, you have 26+ buttons to work with compared to your typical controller's 14
