if we assume the highest possible delay, roughly 1152 dps

if we assume the lowest possible delay, roughly 1920 dps

so if we take the average which is 4 frames of delay, we get roughly 1440 dps

i got the 1536 figure from testing at some higher framerate

after trying out full auto, i find that it's really good at conserving ammo for when you dont have a chainsaw

say you're on your way to the next combat section, but there's some fodder beforehand. If you wanna save your chainsaw gas for a heavy demon like a mancubus or pain elemental, full auto allows you to take care of the fodder at the expense of no shells

and if you're low on shells, you gain some for the next battle

I think I’m in a minority where my least favourite weapon to use is the heavy cannon

This is ABSOLUTELY an issue with me being on console and having imprecise aim, but I also find it quite boring compared to everything else

A machine gun sniper rifle is cool, but for me, it doesn’t compare to a double barrelled grappling hook shotgun or a hell forged crossbow/rail gun

I hope my opinion changes on Pc (if I can run it that is)

The major thing I dislike about spirits is that it feels like it takes forever to kill them with the microwave beam

And that it sometimes disconnects whenever I’m trying to dodge oncoming attacks

I do like how it encourages microwave beam experimentation tho, cause it’s helped me on occasion like clearing out a wave of fodder demons with a tyrant or Baron MB explosion

And it’s a good stunning tool

Since most arena shooters out there are of the 'horde' design, and many players weren't initially a fan of the Marauder because he appeared to demand a different pacing to the other demons (or, at least more lateral thinking if you wanted to fight him on your own terms)... So, what if you had a whole game based on counterhits, staggering, and combos? That's sorta what I'm going for

Dreadknight used to be the most OP enemy pre 6.0, it did a maximum of 4x damage on its ground slam attack, which was enough to bring you full health and armor down to like, 16 health in one shot

It’s speculated that the reason this happened is the attack finishes multiple times before actually hitting the ground

idk how player collision works in de singleplayer, i.e. is the slayer's collision just a giant pill or are there hurtboxes for each limb and such, but if it's the latter then it could've been a bad hit/hurtbox interaction combined with high fps fucking with delta correction

that is to say, the hitbox of the attack could've been colliding with multiple hurtboxes and triggering a damage instance for all of them

delta correction at high fps still causes dredge slams to sometimes end midair as if they've already landed

Just finished TAG2. I was positively surprised. Reviews talk so poorly about the expansions, but I liked it a lot. The boss fight in TAG2 is by far not as good as the one in tag1, but I still like it more than that of the base game.
