I think it also depends on how consistent your quick switching is. My switching is a bit slow compared to most people so I lose out a bit on the pb DPS. So other weapons work for me better in that case. Just depends where you're at in terms of skill. PB quick swaps will be optimal, but not essential if you are more comfortable with other swaps.

There’s always this for some SGN advice, assuming you mean the master level

I could also give you some optimal routing

The optimal speedrun route for ultra nightmare super gore nest is once you break the green wall you go to the wrong side of the breakable wall that leads to the mega armor, and swing it with your crucible ( doesn’t work with classic weapon pose ) kill 8 carcasses in that little arena, and once the hell knights spawn fire a bfg so the tendrils kill all of them, next is the fog room, you want to fire a dblade that kills the majority of the mecha zombies and then fire another dblade that kills the spectre whiplashes, you’re also gonna basically wanna camp the marauders spawn and kill him as quick as you can, after that you go the arena with the cyber mancubi and meathook your way to the far left of the arena with the bridge, and fire a bfg horizontally so the tendrils can fire as long as possible, while it’s doing that go down and get the bfg charge where the infinite ammo cheat usually is, if done correctly there should be only 2-3 cacodemons left, you can finish them off with a singular dblade, after this take on the 3 barons with combos, preferably with pb super shotgun, after that just clear the fodder with precision bolt and or sticky bombs, then after inserting the yellow key you take on the doom hunter, and crucible the second tyrant, after that you’ll be brought down to the room with all the buffed fodder, you can take the crowds out with a single precision bolt headshot, after that you move onto the marauder and arachnotron encounter, no specific advice for that, just try to kill him as fast as possible, then after killing the doom hunter in the next room you go to the far end of it near the hellified barrier and fire a bfg in a way the tendrils go for a long time, after that you have a double tyrant encounter, kill the first one normally, grab the crucible where the sentinel battery normally is and kill the second one that way, next you go unto the arena where you acquire the red key after beating all the enemies, down below there should ( part 1 )

Be a bfg pickup where the revenant toy usually is, and after beating the arena with mecha zombies and fog, in the next arena you should kill one of the arachnotrons, go to the jump pad, and fire a bfg in the direction of the upcoming archvile, if done correctly this should wipe out the entire arena and possibly kill the archvile, after that you go to the arena with two bufftotems, breeze through that, then you have spectre whiplashes, you can go the the far corner of the room and kill them with one dblade, for the powerup room there’s no advice I can give, and for the double marauders, just fight like hell I guess, and beyond that will be a group of fodder and a tyrant, use the fodder for resources, like flame belch, kill the tyrant, go pick up the bfg pick up where the buff totem spawns later on, go to the back right corner of the arena and fire a bfg towards the bridge, this should kill all the heavies, after this a buff totem and 4 tyrant should spawn, destroy the buff totem and crucible two tyrants, save your icebomb for the archviles and kill the third tyrant without it, ice bomb two archviles at once and spam them with weapons, and as quickly as possible make it to the third one, after that it should be just clearing fodder, and then the escape section

I think what I'd have liked is higher attack speed; harder to control how much ammo you use but obliterates any single target in front of you e.g. Baron dead in less than 2 seconds. The Slayer was the leader of the night sentinels, yet he was mute from his rage, so that must mean he had a communicator to aid him in his leadership.
I thought it was a nice idea that the Slayer had some right hand man to be his communicator, and that he treated the night sentinels as brothers despite his path to remain silent

I just had the biggest revelation of my life. The Doom franchise’s luckiest number is 2. Think about it.

There were 2 games that were made using the same engine and same overall gameplay in the beginning, Final Doom had 2 Map Packs, there were 2 games in the series that took a more atmospheric horror approach, 2 modern day reinterpretations of Doom that bring it into the modern age whilst still paying respect to the classic days, and 2 DLC mission packs released for Doom Eternal.

There are 2 Barons of Hell guarding the portal to episode 2 in the first Doom game, there are 2 Hell Knights guarding the portal to hell in Doom 3, both the Mancubus and Revenant have 2 cannons, the Pain Elemental in Doom 64 has 2 Mouths, the Chainsaw in Doom 64 and on the Doom Hunter has 2 blades, most of your ammo in the series has to be shared by 2 weapons

The Super Shotgun, a Shotgun with 2 Barrels, can be found in Level 2 of Doom 2

sorry for the late response, I have a laptop RTX 3050 and Ryzen 5 6600H. I tried the maximum I could do but it was giving me too much drop and as game progresses my fps started to drop more so I went with medium graphics but if I had a desktop 3060 I would ramp the graphics as high as I could

Basically the thing here is, doom eternal does not like integrated graphics. You'll need to set it to run with your dedicated GPU. most laptops these days have this built in via a mux switch / turning off hybrid mode

Personally I don’t use the destroyer blade right there because archvile flame attack can get you while you’re standing still, instead I pb ssg the dreadknight

Doing the level without superweapons used to be hard cuz the triple tyrants you kill with crucible but then double shot became a thing

It is actually better to use dBlade but by jumping from the platform above to avoid the lake of fire

Lower dps than just regular pb ballista and you could just lock on or dblade them or something

I mentioned Dblade because I get some time to charge it while demons are spawning, but ye, sometimes I take an Archies flame hit while that, euther way you can use any DPS method of your choice 😄

Ballista punchswap in itself is kinda outclassed by everything if you’re skilled enough, it’s useful for taking out pain elementals, but yknow, double shot arbalest for 2/3rds of the ammo, it’s just that the skill ceiling is a bit impractical cuz instant salvos a thing

Download meath00k off of nexusmods or through DESRU, it allows you to spawn enemies in although it’s preferred you notarget them first so they don’t start attacking you with the console open, as for the empty arena, just find one
