I use the ice bomb then shoot hem with chaingun. Then for new ammunition I chainsaw kill fodder demons. Then ı repeat the same strategy over and over again.

The chaingun is an automatic weapon, I wouldn’t recommend it for combos, although it does have the good perk of BATS applicable states, although that’s to be discussed far after you master quick switching

You use the chaingun as the bats applicable state, you fire it for about 2-3 seconds and it can be used to punchswap rockets and sticky’s, or use it’s bring up speed to activate bats on a slower bring up weapon like the ballista

the Tyrant is one of my favourite Eternal enemies. It has a really cool design (good old Classic Cyberdemon), varied attacks and is just really fun to fight

The Marine Blue skin is just beautiful, the blue is a nice deep rich blue color, and the engravings and details on the hands, including the blade are just beautiful patterns, and are so satisfying to see during glory kills, and during cutscenes you can see the full armor and these small beautiful gold highlights, I'm not sure if those are on the gloves or not, but are amazing and makes me actually watch cutscenes

Quick lore observation, the primary issue in my opinion with the tag 2 lore surrounding hell for me is that that Hell Priests apparently knew about he origin of Jekkad and the manipulation of the Kahn Makyr and creation of the slayer. If they knew that and by extension knew they too were manipulated and pawns, why would they continue being aligned with hell? I think it would have worked better if that information simply originated in a text from Immora. Unknown to anyone outside of Immora. Everything else could pretty much stand as is if that info was exclusively known about in a text in Immora and nowhere else.

Because the lore says that all the stuff about the manipulation of the makyrs and the creation of the slayer was found in the priest's texts and were known about by the cultist sects of the UAC.

Which would mean the priests spread that information. Which makes no sense. It would expose an immense mistake made by the Dark Lord to those supposed to be loyal to hell. It makes far more sense for Immora and Immoran's alone to know of it so they could prepare for the siege when the time came. It just wraps the narrative in a much neater bow.

I suspect this little detail just wasn't thought all the way through in the problematic conditions that TAG 2 was under.

The fake origin story for the makyrs also does make sense, as in the main campaign info for the makyrs it's said that the Father is known about but his origin is lost. But the Seraphs still retain that fake myth used to guide the makyrs in their early days until it was not needed anymore.

If that one thing wasn't there it would be alright. XD

Luckily Hugo has oft said, that "It's your game" and encouraged community answers to questions and problems, so since it is indeed my game, I'm gonna pretend this is the case. XD And since the creative director said that, that means it's canon. XD

The wraiths are probably one of the lesser gods that Davoth created if I had to guess. It’s mentioned that many “failed” gods were created long ago. Either that or they’re an extremely advanced civilization that somehow tapped into the same energy that hell uses through different means

The MAyker's energy on the other hand is a bit on the more vague side, but I kind of like how vague their energy is at the moment. It's obviously a different type of energy all together, derived from logic to keep them sane and thinky. But Davoth and the primevals clearly come from a monstrous background, so that energy is difficult to keep, which over time results in Transfiguration where the true form and energy they utilize is revealed.

Given that their origins are not explicitly described yet, but their power can fuel the Crucible, an artifact originally belonging to Davoth, I personally think at the moment that they were sent by Davoth's creators ahead of time for the Makyrs to eventually be able to take advantage of alongside the Argenta. Especially considering the Father is the one to give the word on who enters the ship for the crystals.

This ties back into the mysterious voice that seems very upset that the Kahn Makyr has died.

What would be upset by that? Probably the thing that made a god that didn't work, but then was like, well good thing he made this other god like race.

That's again something I think can be chalked up to the higher force. I think the force gave him the landscape of Jekkad, but he populated it and created everything else. But it was restricted from him to create immortal beings, as I imagine that would step on the highest god's toes, so only he is Immortal, but he was still given a creative power, and made evrything else from Jekkad. That said, I think what the Makyrs discovered WAS that higher being. And given Davoth's track record of being merciless and without restraint it's possible he represented a threat to those higher beings, and thus all of creation. This would also then provide a sort of olive branch between the makyrs and that higher being, which completed their transition into the new rulers of creation. But because they were still beneath Davoth, they would need further resources, hence the sending of wraiths to Argent D'Nur, their arrive, and the loss of general knowledge of Davoth and Hell, which the higher being hoped would be forgotten.

Also, Hugo makes mention of Davoth and the slayer being primevals, so the higher being may have sent the Slayer into the universe with the intent of eventually destroying Davoth and Hell permanently. Just happens that he ended up destroying the makyrs in the process, to the annoyance of the higher being, and without Davoth even knowing about that part of it. XD

So now the higher being is kind of back where it started with a rouge primeval fucking things up. But at least this one is even less powerful by default, likely by design.

Well, I beleive the UAC is actually deactivating or what they vcalled purifying it. Transforming it into its raw much more powerful and unwieldy state into ta calmer more usable one, ie the blue state, like how sentinels use the blue wraith energy for everything except large scale or particularly powerful weapons like the crucible.

Hayden does say its unusable without the filters, so by destroying them the energy is now too unstable to be used. I like to think now that it is essentially removing the rage components from the material making it, as hayden said "usable and safe."

The Argenta are a different species from humans. Though I have seen a theory stating that some of them populated Mars which ties into the ancient Martian race in Doom 3 and how those Martians became humans later on at some point. I mean Argenta seem very biologically similar to humans.

Also Doomguy’s mission really can’t ever be over. Hell was sealed not destroyed and it’s shown there have been many Dark Lords across history. If anything there will always be another demon to take Davoths place and if not him one of the beings above him will probably do it.
