so in this clip specifically youre too tunnel visioned on staying midair. too focused on that meathook point instead of evasion and damage output. and honestly, pb stickies is a fun combo but for that arena in particular in my opinion its better to just destroyer blade, or rocket behind the chaingunners (or even a sticky for an easy glory kill state) and the lasers can really mess you up. again, just my opinion, but staying midair is pretty overrated its a strong playstyle but it shouldnt override focus over everything else

im not saying its bad its a fun decent combo but for that arena specifically i personally dont recommend it. or really in general to be honest with you. again thats just my preference. i use ssg pb, slobs, duodblades (from the vid i sent yesterday) mainly but a good long range combo is pb ballista if you really want to stay midair and not wiff pb shots. but if you really want to stay midair and shoot down aoe damage i recommend rocket punchswaps i can send a vid explaining that too if youd like. and if youre worried about ammo, you have the chainsaw and hammer in the world spear master level dont be worried about wasting ammo thats what the chainsaws for. 👍
and staying on the ground not taking damage is (at least in my playstyle) bhopping, circling the arena to make the projectiles have a hard time keeping up, and ballista boosting

That doesn't increase the fire rate of the ssg at all. Only ways to "quickly shoot" with ssg is to swap off of it to a different weapon and back.
Typically this is either SSG -> {fire insert weapon} -> SSG,
SSG -> weapon -> SSG without firing the 2nd weapons (SSG dead swaps)
SSG -> Punch -> SSG bind -> fire (punch swaps)

I think the hate for Carcass was mostly due to back in the day, higher FPS caused enemies to lunge at the enemy further/faster, so the beyblade stunlock could just kill people on its own VERY easily, with little counterplay.
That said I think Carcass is probably one of the best designed enemies for DE. Just the right amount of "frustration" while still being fair with the amount of ways to deal with them (blood punch -> glory kill for free with the upgraded blood punch perk after... i wanna say after Gladiator?, 1 charge dblade, pb ballista or pb rocket, etc)

I haven't played any computer games since quake 3 beta. I was really good at q/q3 back in the days. I've been trying Doom Eternal, and I really love the resource management system and everything. However, I find the glory kill and chainsaw animations to be a little over the top for my taste. I see point of enemies bleeding giving information about their health status, and I'm ok with that. I just wish those animations were not there (or changed somehow). Are there any mods or something that can disable this? I've been googling around to no avail.

What’s the most useless piece of doom tech knowledge you guys have? I’ll go first, the base combat shotgun fire is punchswappable, it’s only slightly slower than full auto but it’s affectively useless for a few reasons, one it’s somehow worse than full auto, two the skill ceiling required to perform it outweighs its usefulness, and three, even if you got close enough to utilize it your punch would magnetize you to the enemy and break the chain
Not to mention it’s the same firerate as the sticky bomb punchswap which has longer range, does more damage, and uses the same amount of ammo, making it literally the most useless thing you could possibly pull off

cyberdemons are surprisingly oppressive for their size but i think they're a bit easier than doom hunters
not saying doom hunters are that challenging by themselves but if you let them, they will hurt rlly bad rlly quick

if you're quick- the only cyberdemon attack that can rlly hurt you is the lasers (which still hardly hit you), but you never rlly need to get close to them or anything
the doom hunters (if you wanna take them out fast) usually need a blood punch which means you gotta get relatively close, and obviously they have a higher chance of hitting you if you're close xd
neither one is really challenging by themselves, doom hunter is just a little more dangerous

Not sure, check your cords, it could be a issue with the AV Cables or the HDMI cable, by the off chance it could possibly be the TV, that's worse case scenario
