I mean, you can get the chaingun early in that secret level if you found
the plasma pickup in hell on earth . I play on nightmare but i can see how the
secret levels can be blockers for some. Those secret encounters are
made to be an insane level of challenge. You do get combat points,
another early crystal, etc for finding and completing that level though.

Keey moving and keep circle-strafing @solid schooner. Tyrants are one of the easier Super Heavies to deal with once you get used to them because they're too slow to keep up with you. Just dash whenever it uses that rail-laser on you, and don't get too close.

They're bullet sponges, but I'd rather fight two of them than a single Archvile in Eternal
