Also another interesting facet is the fact that the suit he wears in Eternal is entirely seperate from the original Praetor suit, it’s based off of it, but on account of the fact we see his disassembled 2016 praetor suit in his personal quarters we know it isn’t the same. Personally I think the reasoning behind this is that the original Praetor suit used Argent to upgrade health and stuff, and with the Slayer having destroyed Earth’s Argent supply, it made sense to run it on something else, namely the Wraith power in a Sentinel Crystal, plus the Doomblade

Hey guys i've been an avid doom eternal player for about the past two years and i was wondering if anybody had encountered this extremely rare glitch before, perhaps because nobody cares to mention or because it is really that hard to stumble across, as in my 720ish hours i have only encountered it twice, so anyways, the glitch is that sometimes when you kill a tyrant it will die but still keep attacking, even if its entire upper half is completely gibbed, thankfully though it still registers as dead in the enemy counts so it counts as a completed encounter even with him still attacking

it is not a problem yes but it is annoying, it defies the fundamentals and restricts your mobility, i think this can be done good, as in the case of the blood maykr your movement penalty is a punishment for failing to avoid the attack/take the blood maykr out quickly enough, but the carcass has no rhyme or rhythm in this sense just kinda places walls wherever

The bigger the arena is the harder the carcass can be to pin down and kill, cause when he spawns a shield there’s a cosmetic effect of the shield arcing to exactly where the carcass is, the larger that arena gets the more that arcs so it gets obscured

-He built the Father and the Maykrs, a race of robotic beings designed to find immortality for Davoth's people in Jekkad.
-They found it but Davoth is nuts, and the Father decides he's too crazy to deserve these things. He is a threat to all of Creation.
-The Maykrs and the Father betray Davoth. The Father seals him within Jekkad, closing off Jekkad to all worlds. Jekkad warps and becomes Hell.
-The Father creates the Earthly realms. Davoth begins invading them. The Father storms Hell and strikes down Davoth, turning him into a Life Sphere. His essence is distilled into this ball and his consciousness a ghost permeating Hell.
-The Father turns himself into a Life Sphere as well. The Maykrs rewrite history to say that the Father was the first being, who made Davoth. Obviously wrong.

Doomguy and Davoth are completely different entities who simply look identical for unknown reasons.

Doomguy passes out at the end of TAG 2 because his powers were stolen from Davoth. The Divinity Machine, the thing that gave him his powers, was powered by a shard of Davoth's Life Sphere. It's why Davoth has to use a mech to fight you; you essentially stole his powers.

So when you kill Davoth it also killed the Slayer's powers.

Imps: Die to 1-2 shotgun blasts or 1 Precision Bolt Strike or like 3 Micro Missiles
Arachnotron: Use Precision Bolt or Sticky Bomb to break their turret. Use frag grenades to falter them. Keep a medium to long distance to avoid there grenades.

Davoth is only a Primeval, not an actual god. "God" is whatever the Mysterious Voice is.

Davoth uses a mech because he doesn't have his powers. He hasn't been around for eons. TAG 2's the first time he's been a corporeal being since before his powers were stolen.
