Hello, i need help on doom eternal, i have finished the game, and i want to do all the levels with ONLY crucible and infinite ammo cheat, but crucible dont have infinite ammo! Why? Is this intended?

Pretty sure the Chainsaw, Crucible, Unmaykr, and BFG aren’t effected by the infinite ammo cheat. If your on PC you’ll need to install a mod by Chrispy (think that’s how it’s spelled) that unlocks the dev console

Could be something like how they did DOOM Hunter Base where it's just a long tunnel that moves around the arena at the start and just resets your position every now and again.

Like anything else it'll just take time and practice. Something most don't want to dedicate to these days. Like alot of things in life

Super shotgun into rocket is not that good, you are better off learning how to quick scope heavy cannon and then switch into a power weapon like ballista or super shotgun

i normally do super shotgun then quickscope the assault rifle or super shotgun grapple towards and then grenade, blood punch then finish with a balista.

It’s not good at all to switch from a close range weapon into an explosive weapon. A good combo that incorporates the rocket launcher is PB Rocket

It’s decent. Using the SSG and PB together is great and a pretty decent combo. The other one however requires heavily on whether your grenades or Blood Punch are on cooldown. It’s good to incorporate them into combos but don’t rely on them for combos all the time

well i replenish blood punch with two glory kills and the grenades i usually have 2 of then i chainsaw a victim then i dash away switch to first shotgun to shoot a grenade out of it then i super shotgun grapple and blood punch towards an enemy

Yeah I’m really thinking NM is a trial-and-error difficulty. That or I’m just a bad gamer, because I’ve spent too many hours for it to be anything else.

Missing a single weak point shot, a meathook, or a Caco can be fatal on that difficulty. Without knowing what demons are spawning already, how is it supposed to work?

I have never had a moment where missing any of those instantly killed my unless i was already at low hp from something else

If i miss a weakpoint, well rip 1 pb shot but i'm still gonna blast that enemy with something else right after and try again

If meathook misses it depends, usually there is a backup plan like dashing into a less comfertable area or just meathooking something else

So yes, if you’re otherwise successfully dodging everything else, those things don’t one-shot you. But I’m certainly not maintaining full health on NM. I think my difficulty aiming causes me to close distance and tank damage instead of engaging from a distance.

Goldeneye didn’t require nearly this level of aiming. Not moving targets anyway. Everything was predictable.

I think you can if you know how. Fire Bal, swap to SSG while holding fire, press swap repeatedly while holding fire and also throw grenades. I got lucky here though because he did a green flash instead of putting up his shield partway through.

I always double blood punch the Doom Hunter (aka sled destroyer) but of course it was a normal run I didn’t have double blood punch yet. So I did BP and CSG-FA to destroy the sled. Then I just use the RL-LoB to get it to glory kill state. But of course the Baron in the room is just like “hi” and then I’m dead

Id usually throw out a freeze grenade and start charging, or meat hook yourself in the air and immediately start charging, and then throw a regular grenade or a frost one

Solved it! Tried the FPS angle and found a youtube video that mentioned turning off Windows 'Game Mode'. I don't ever remember turning it on but it was on - turning it off instantly changed my framerate in Doom - from 30 everywhere to 350+ in menus and 100+ in the game. Went to the wolf and boom jumped into the flame. Well there you go.

After playing twice, I would say that most things about the game felt a lot smoother and easier to manage. The only things that still seemed pretty obnoxious were some of the jumps, and the Khan Maykr fight.

Samur is SUPER glitchy though. I kept dying on phase 3 (Caco Timed Encounter) and then one time it was Phase 3 combined with 4. THEN it was phase 5 but the floor was lava. Then a couple times it was phase 5 but no enemies spawned, with Samur watching from a distance like phase 3.
