Yep, shield is very OP. Ballista boost can still be done just not as natural as when using air control. I'd say practicing against good demons is good too.

I would suggest using frag for faltering heavy demons for example when u go for a blood punch/ use it with flame belch on fodder or a group of demons for quick armour. As for ice bomb its perfect if u want to deal extra damage on a super heavy especially with barons but ots also useful for fast enemies such as whiplash and the knights

Its also helpful if ur fighting cyber mancs cuz the acid pool can be deadly on higher difficulty

Its really a shame, TAG 2 single handedly killed the franchise again it seems. Nobody in the general public gave a shit about Doom anymore shortly after its release.

Funnily enough this is exactly what happened with the new FNAF game Security Breach.

Hype for the game helped significantly rejuvenate interest in FNAF with lots of people returning.

The the game came out and was absolute shit. The hype died instantly.

Level 3 of horde mode spawns in a LOT of heavy demons which tanks my FPS

My CPU is an i5 12400 with 16gb of RAM, my GPU is an RX 580 with 8gb of VRAM and I'm playing at 1080p with a new cooler and an old 650w power supply
I can usually manage about 100 fps or so

Best way to get it to work is by using Energy Shield to let the Hell Knight come to you withotu taking damage, freeze it, then just use a fully charged Dblade and it should shatter

That's a silly argument.

Back in the day, higher fps caused enemies to be "harder" (this has since MOSTLY been fixed). So there were a few players who would cap at 60 fps to gain an advantage. But their runs weren't illegitimate or anything like that.

Only issue I've ever seen were players insisting they weren't capping to 60 BECAUSE of that, when there was no other reason to cap at 60 for the most part.

It'd be like if I said "I'm not binding jump to mouse wheel because it's easier to get bhops", there's practically no OTHER reason so id ve lying in that instance

Perhaps that comparison isn't 1 to 1? I dunno, I think it's close enough. Basically other than literally going against defined rulesets (mostly affects speedruns), and playthrough/run is "legitimate"

If you’re good at avoiding shit, yeah it’s not too bad.

But if you’re not good for quick analysis it gets to be REAL hard

it's my first time playing this game and the beginning was fine but now I'm on some part in this snowy area and it's damn impossible

I find it really fun figuring out the best ways to use early game equipment (especially “non meta” mods like Full Auto) to complete post game challenges

Here is a tip:

One of the ways I use full auto is to finish off enemies I damaged with other weapons @azure forum

Then I gain extra shotgun ammo for largely non shotgun kills

Thats why I got its mastery upgrade

Its also good to reap resources from fodder enemies without using up ammo

I just never found full auto worth using. Early game uses too much ammo for low damage. Mastery is a joke without a mastery token, so pursuing it early game isn't worth it for me. PB/Stickies are a very strong and ammo efficient combo early game and late game. After cultists base, SSG and LoB are too good to ignore. I think I got too used to those meta weapons when I stopped using full weapon wheel.
